whenever i try to upload a jpeg. or jpg. or png. , on a post (not on my siggy) it keeps saying "you cannot use that image extension on this board". its been like that ever since the switch to the new board type. it only work when someone else copies the url for me, you know, like with a * in it.

Sorry to bother you, but still. Am I in?

 

Go to Tinypic.com, it provides an image hosting service. Saving as .PNG is the basic of basics for spriting, since it does not compress the data. You don't ignore basic stuff because of obstacles, you work around those obstacles

I will say 4 is the one I like the best out of them. A quick recolor that I thought good. A blue that matches better.

Looking at it comparitively to the others, I can't decide if this one or your number 4 match better. This one could have also used just a tad more blue in it maybe.

Did you make the palette for that or was it off a pokemon sprite? I like it, but yeah, a little more blue would be good. I'm still scrounging around for a sprite with a good blue-ish grey palette on it. Actually I just had an Idea..... :rolleyes:

You don't upload the images straight through the "attatchment" feature that the forum has built in. You upload it through a third party website, like Tinypic or Photobucket, then copy the [*img] code into your post

Tried two new ones, sneasle and wealive. I really like the weavile one, but the highlight kinda blended in with the midtone. The sneasel one was kinda greenish. So I took the weavile one, and I just took the highlight and made it a little lighter in color so it would stand out a little bit more. I like that one the best I think. Tell me what you think :D

That's what ive been doing. But it still ends up glitched like that.

 

Im starting to think youre all ignoring what i say at the bottom of those posts. *sigh*

lol hadukeny thingy maboby the leader is the only one who can decide whether your in and he has not been on for a while so just consider your self a guest member until the big cheese gets back you know like spleko.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm gunna go with the edited weavile colors. I like the # 4 one as well (i guess itll be the shiny version), but it looks kinda old to me...ya know, like the palette just looks like it would be in one of the old games.

 

Also, did some editing on the electric one.

The bottom row, I just made the electricity being released from its body alot more intense. Put some around its feet and stuff. And on the right, I colored in the black stripes with the electricity stuff, to make em look like the lightning. I don't like it that much personally (and yes, I just noticed the bottom right sprite's tail is messed up. I just cped the one above it onto the bottom left one for the right effect. I'll fix it at some point if I decide that one will be best.)

 

Woo, just have the ghost one to revamp now :D more or less

spleko I really think now that the first one is the best colour schem I have tried your splice with 20 other colour schemes to see if I could give any sugestions and no others seem to work as well as the brown my suggestion is to just make the brown work a lil better by changing the splice.

id like to make a challenge the winner will get 2 reps

the contest is to scratch/slpice a dark/flying type pokemon the name is jestbird(jester and bird)<--- a helpful hint for the contest

 

 

I have a compo for you people to try recolour my sword I just posted.

 

 

For both of these can the deadlines be teusday? I wanna do em, but I'm wiked busy the next few days.

Have some news for those who care. You will be seeing less of me here in this club. I won't be necessarily quitting, but I will probably only come by and say something when I need to. If though that is an issue, I don't mind if I'm removed from this club. There are a few reasons for this, but generally let's just say I'll be busy with other things.

 

Thanks for the ride guys. See you around on other parts of the site.
