Wow, you guys must be really bored. Then again, I'm not one to talk. Yesterday, my brother and I beat two whole video games. I played one of them for seven hours straight.

But back on topic, michael, when will there be another splicing contest here? I just might enter it because I am so bored that if I don't do something soon, I might just go rob a bank out of sheer boredom so I can splice something and have some fun.

I must say this is quite wonderful. not perfect but given that its only spiritomb and alakazam its great. When I saw that splice request I couldn't think of anything to do with the two.

EDIT: P.S. Its rather small because I used an emerald...I think, maybee fr/lg, Sprite for the base.

I only used the outline of a sprite, recolored the border completely black, edited it a bit, then completely scratched all of the coloring with amphy's colors, and rotom for the "wing" thingys on his back.

Whoever can tell me the base sprite I used for the outline gets a cookie :D

I have come up with a great IDEA :D For me that is...

My newest project: I am going to go back and completely revamp all of my old splices and recolors!

This is going to be a very long process, but I was looking through my photobucket and found my splice sheets, and noticed how terrible i used to be D: so I am by no means trying to get rid of all my old sprites, I just want to basically redo them with my current level of spriting. in fact I'm not merely going to re-vamp them, though it will be that easy for alot of them, I'm probably going to completely re-make a good portion of them. So yeh, don't expect to see much from me for a while. I'll still be active on the forum, but not many new sprites will be posted. Revamping all my sheets will mean re-doing well over 200 Sprites total...I think. Def over 150. :D

Then may I recommend using more sprites? I'm not saying using different Pokemon, but using more sprites of the same Pokemon. Taking the second frame of the Pokemon, or taking the fire from its sprite from a different game. Every Pokemon has at least 2 different sprites, most having 4, some having even up to 6. If one sprite of it isn't enough, try to see if the other ones can help.

Also using the sprites from a different game doesn't always work. Some minor changes are made, and Moltres is one of them. The style of flame changes a little too much. Second frames can help with that.

So I decided against going back and revamping all my old sprites, because after going over the old sheets I noticed how bad they are, and really very few of them are worth revamping. Like they really kinda suck hard. So instead I'm just gunna stick to producing new stuff for your viewing pleasure. And ideas for meh? Anything you'd like to see spliced/scratched??
