Very good point. Now that you mention it I do see that. Thanks.

Honestly' date=' it seems like Suicune is one of the hardest to splice...

To be honest, I'd have to agree with that. I found it difficult to use as a splice material as well...

Everyone assumes I'm keeping some form of secrets. I'm honest and sincere when I say I put almost all my knowledge into my tutorials. There really isn't just some idea or technique I have that makes my sprites special.

So you're almost helping us :3?

What he's saying, is that he still does splices the normal way, but he spends more time and work on it. Most ppl would just do border recoulers by using select be color and selecting the color, and then using the fill bucket to fill it in, when he and I both even add onto the borders to make them look better, and all sorts of other stuff to make the splices look good. There's never a secret to splicing. But there is knowledge.

I had a shop. It opened and closed twice, both because of time constraints irl.

If you want inspiration, listen to this song, it always works for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O00RY8BZMYE

Right now I'm working on a really complicated project from nothing but Pokémon sprites... It's gonna suck doing it, but I can't wait till I'm done.

Here's a small part of it. So far I've used parts of Hitmonlee, Golbat, Kabutops, Gloom, Pupitar, and Drapion. I've used colors from Groudon and Pikachu.

That middle crotch guard needs a bit of work, but other than that and the fact it's missing a head, limbs, and some other parts, it looks good so far. There will definitely be a lot of scratching.

The best part was part of Pupitar's face forming the glasses almost perfectly.

I get my Pokémon sprites from www.pe2k.com

I get my Mega Man sprites from http://www.sprites-inc.co.uk/

I get my Digimon sprites from http://withthewill.net/index.php?topic=3436.0

I get my Kirby sprites from http://www.spriters-resource.com/ and the various characters that splice with him I just google.

@jumpking: They're called crotch guards, I can't change that fact (not sure why a giant robot would need to guard his crotch, but whatever).

Well the logical idea would be that there are important hinges there for things like the legs and stuff, so you would want to guard the important area that controls your movement and such. Also it being Gurren Lagann, we can only assume a crotch guard is very important since the machines are powered by manly energy!
