You don't usually let someone on a team without at least teaching them the basics. I'm not saying he won't ever be allowed, I'm just saying that he should have at least some basic knowledge before we let him in. And it isn't like I'm making it impossible either. Pretty much I want him to save as .PNG and we'll work from there.

No, but a club can have a minimum criteria that each member who applies must meet.

But if it does, you have to post it in the thread starter. Michael didnt, so anyone is allowed in. Also, we can teach them the basics while they're here. This isnt just for professional splicers, this is also for people who want to learn how to splice. If it's not, then we should change the name to pro splicers club or something like that. If michael doesnt accept you, then I will, even though you wont officially be in the club, at least in my world you are.

30 Pokemon in one splice is a tad extreme. Sounds like if it's in the wrong hands it can easily go very wrong. As for most I've had in one splice, I think I had 10 Pokemon splice before...

Actually nvm, I have one with 11 things mixed in.

 

Also I think it's fair game to prevent someone from joining the club because they don't save as .png. Its not like we're asking someone of too much. It's super easy to do but makes a big difference. Keeping him out is also a good way to motivate him to do something that is very important.

 

Also, just because we're leaving someone out for some specific reason doesn't make us bullies. If lets say he didn't complete the form right, we wouldn't let him in. If he broke some rules or was a thief we probably wouldn't leave him in either. It's not about picking on him, he just plain isn't following the rules. The issue comes in though for the fact that we haven't such a rule written down in the first post about it. It's a rule I would support, but it's hardly official without Michael's blessing. However even if it's not official in this club, it is an agreed and understood fact that the first rule of all spriting is to save as .png.

That's why we inform them of the most basic part if they didn't do the research. Saving as .PNG is the most basic of basic skills for spriters. So we say save as .PNG next time and you're in or something of the sort. And we haven't had a case where this has happened before, so it was never thought of.

dang people i'm gone for just a few minutes and we got 30 new posts.ok as for the rypheriour topic

1.this club is for people who like splicing,want to learn how to splice,and people who want to get better at splicing.

2.thats all i really need to say and i dosn't matter check out his new splices hes gotten a lot better.

 

and as for your splices

#1.i've seen hundreds of splices of those 2 the exact same way but you've gotten better

#2.i'm not a really big dragonite fan i don't know why i just don't like him so i can't really rate that one cuz of my discrimination.

#3.really cool that ones awsome when i look at his wing thing it reminds me of sasuke in cursed form

okay here are a few progressions after readin the tutorial. I think its better. Also I already said I was bad in my app so I already know I suck.

Ok' date=' so he listened and saved as PNG, I don't care what happens anymore.

 

So now for the critique:

On the first one, the ears need to be blended in, and the tail has some unrecolored borders

On the second one, the legs look... awkward to say the least, almost like they start and then start again (with two thighs), and you have some missing borders on the wings

On the third one, the shoulder spikes make the fins look detatched, although I like how you put the effort in the recoloring. Borders need a little work. I honestly say this one works better as an advanced recolor, rather than a splice...

 

Okay here's my final one before I go

The borders on the claws have been recolored weirdly, and there is cutoff. The wings don't line up well with Mewtwo's angle. And the tail should go behind the wings...

My god, I think I kept my shop open for a little too long. The requests I got from it were a bit much. I've easily gotten enough splices to fill up 3 healthy sized sheets from it. I still have 10 more to go too. I don't think the sheet after that is going to come for awhile, I'll have to get back to work on some other things for awhile.

 

Not to mention I probably dislike half of the requests I still haven't gotten to yet.

Well there's a perk to not being good at splicing... you won't get a lot of requests lol. Please post the sheets once your done on this thread. :D

The weird thing is that I only got this massive amount of requests because of the shop. However almost for my entire splicing career I took requests, for free, just like my shop. All you had to do was go to my showcase thread, just like people had to go to my shop thread. I use to get a bunch of requests back in the day, on all the sites I go to. I remember one girl here, BastionsGirl, who would ask for like 6 at a time from me =P. I was almost thinking I've lost my thunder or something lately.

I love lightning. Elementally, it's my favorite. Screw water and fire and those other loser elements. Also as a force of nature it's so cool. So powerful and fast. It's pure energy, and it's all about messing folks up.

 

Also yes I can lose my thunder. I know in some places, even here, I've had times where less people are commenting or requesting. I know I can find some sites where I octuple-post because no one comments, yet at other times I get like 7 different comments between posts.

Ok, so shading on the first one is inconsistant, an some borders are lighter than the rest of the area. Also, the angle of the legs does not match the angle of the body, as well as the "ears"

 

On the second, the plugs and the ball don't look attached...

 

On the final one, the arms are just floating and have no borders, they are completely unconnected from the body. Also you spam the lightning bolts in the last two

Wow. I guess your as good as they say you are. There's only one funny problem I see out of all of them. On the articuno+dragonite, it looks like he has a white beard since the white belly is a little too high up. That's just my opinion though.
