Donovyn managed to step out of the tunnel, legs wobbly. Glaring at Fusion. He took a couple steps toward him. "Damn. that last attack used the rest of my Chakra. But that desperate attack of his. He knew abut my Rasenthunder. that must mean whatever he's drawing from, it must be running low as well," he thought, panting to hard to speak. "So." he managed to say where Fusion could hear him. "It looks like...this fight...is over. You're gonna have to tell me...where you draw power from. It's not Chakra. I know that much." he smiled, giving a classic one-syllable chuckle, just before falling to the ground, unconscious.

Fusion fell to the ground and lay there until he heard Donovyn speak. He lay a little more trying to understand what Donovyn was asking and slowly got up. It was hard to walk, but he trudged over to Donovyn. "I don't know if you can hear me right now," Fusion said. "But everyone has the same power inside them. I believe you refer to it as chakra, I refer to it simply as energy. Point is, we all share it and some use it for whatever powers they have. I don't know how to explain it any further, I'm not a rocket scientist if you get my drift. But for your Rasenthunder I simply sensed its destructive power. I suppose you could say I have a knack for sensing danger or the intent someone or something has during a fight." Fusion looked up and briefly closed his eyes to let the late afternoon sun's rays warm him. "You're strong, the second strongest I've ever fought. I also had to really struggle and think outside of the box to win. I don't really think you're a bad guy either, you feel different from evil people I fought. Maybe one day...we'll fight again and hopefully we'll both be stronger and have more fun. I'll..see you around." Fusion walked off to the nearby cabin and made it to Master's doorstep before he collapsed and dozed off.

[Daybreak]

Bando brought the kid to the hospital. The kid looked up at him and said "Lord Bando?" Bando replied,"Kid, call me Daybreak." "Okay", the kid replied weakly. Bando felt bad he could not have done more. He left the hospital wing thinking about things. He went up to the main building, the future Koukage's office,and sat down in his favorite chair and thought to himself.

Just then the counselors who were old and obnoxious entered the room. They were an old man and woman. He hated them, they thought the world was theirs and everyone should listen to what they have to say. Honorable Counselors, I have called you here to tell you something. They look puzzled, maybe because I barely ever talk to them he thought. He stiffened as he said " I am leaving the village".

Fusion woke up several hours later in the comfort of Master's home. "I watched the whole thing with Go," he said to Fusion. "You have improved to be able to progress this far. I'm sure Kyoja form can be unlocked within a few days after going through such a rough experience." Fusion struggled to sit up and asked, "Do I start training tomorrow?" Master bowed and said, "You should spend tomorrow recovering, but perhaps we can throw in a quick session at day's end if you're up for it." Fusion looked around and asked, "Where's Go?" Master closed his eyes and looked down saying, "He got a call from an associate. His friend thought he heard something about that man." Fusion's eyes widened and looked out the window to where Donovyn was. Go...don't get killed man.

[Daybreak]

Bando packed up his ninja bag with his kunai and paper bomb. He looked from his desk at the Honorable Counselors. Awestruck and confused, they yelled "Bando are you crazy? Without you the village would surely be attacked by other villages." "Koyusi would take care of the villagers.." he replied quietly. The Honorable Counselors felt a little better with the mention of his name. " Yes your old master would protect most of it but if say Konoha would attack he could not hold his own against all of them", the man said.The woman nodded in agreement. There was a sudden rush of wind, the man and the woman were thrown 10 feet away on the ground. "What the hell was that for?", the woman replied weakly. "First you insult my master who has taken down over 400 enemies single handed and is the second greatest ninja in this village, second you would dare speak of an attack from a village we have an alliance with?", he shouted angrily. The Honorable Counselors got up and yelled back, " We have to be prepared for anything!". Another rush of wind hit the door opening it. "You make me sick get out of here now!" he said with a glare in his eyes. They left with the door closing behind them. "I am sorry Master Koyusi for using the new jutsu you taught me to take care of these idiots" he thought. He put a black and blue cloak on and looked at the room wondering if he would ever see it again. He left the room thinking to himself, "Next stop Koyushi's place" he said with a smirk.

Go swung through Furodo City on his webbing, in search of the murderer. He has to be around here somewhere, but it sure is a pain looking for him like this. I'm just glad Master lent me his jet so I could fly out here. I need to remember to ask how he got it.. He kept swinging when he heard commotion below him. Go dropped down and found a man in a cloak robbing a bank. "Nobody move! If I'm not given a million dollars within 5 minutes, I'm shooting this girl!" Go looked at the frightened girl who seemed to be around his age. A serious look crept on his face as he scaled the wall until he was directly above the robber. He quickly shot some webbing and snagged the girl safely away. The man turned around and was greeted with a foot in the face. Go tied him up and ran like hell before anyone could stop him. The girl just stared after him and wondered, He saved my life...but who is he? Go jumped up and continued his search. Heh, Fusion will be jealous that I got a girl's attention today.

[Daybreak]

Bando walked up to the hill with his black and blue cloak on. He smirked under the shadow from his head,"Well it has been a while." he said as he saw Koyushi on the porch. It was a cloudy day he noticed. "It has been a while", he said to Bando quietly. Of course that's where Bando got his solemn quiteness from his teacher. "I'm leaving the village" Bando said. " So you're finally going huh?" Koyushi said quietly. "Yes, and while I'm gone I want you to look after the village for me" Bando said woefully. "Only until it is time for you to become the Koukage" replied Koyushi quietly. "Goodbye master" he said as he walked away heading for the village entrance. When he was at the gate he was met by the very same kid he rescued the other day. "Hello Daybreak" the kid said with a smile. "Hey kid whatcha want?" he asked coolly. "I want to go with you, I want to be a great ninja like you." "You want to go with me?" he asked curiously. Although he preffered to be alone he might enjoy the boy's company. He had grown to like him while they were with each other. He didn't want to put him in danger though. So he asked the boy "where are your parents?" Suddenly the boy looked down with hurt in his face. He cried "They were killed by the ninja you killed." He felt so sorry for the boy. No friends, no family, and all he has is me he thought. He thought and thought and then finally said "Do you know ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu?" The boy nodded. "Then fight me!" he yelled "What!?!" the boy asked.

Donovyn woke up and struggled to his feet. Looking around, he noticed that Fusion was missing. "Well, he can't have taken that much less damage than me, so that means that someone took him away to somewhere. Heh, so, I wasn't important enough to save? Now, that just hurts my feelings." he said, softly. He sighed and walked off in a random direction. "I hope I get to see him again. He really pushed me in a way I haven't been in quite some time. He really was fun. And very strong, I'm gonna have to improve on those techniques I noticed during that fight."

Fusion and Master Kenwei woke up the next day and sat across from one another in the snow. "Since Go is not here at the moment, I can give my full attention unto you Fusion." Master said. "You have gained proficiency over fire, electricity, your kiai, and also have surpassed your bodily limits with Neo and Chisoku Fusion, maybe even Kyoja Fusion soon enough. Not to mention your Shokyoku Mode, the "Godmod" technique." Fusion's eyes narrowed and said, "Well hey, I went through a lot of training to use Shokyoku Mode, it's my own special technique." Master sat back and replied, "Yes, well, continuing from what I've said, you acquired skill and power. However, you lack mentality! Mental strength is key in battle and can be a deciding factor in a win or loss. The best way to help you acquire this strength is through one of my special skills I'm passing to you: telekinesis." Fusion gulped in nervousness and excitement.

 

Go had interrogated about ten gang bosses during the day and no word yet came up on his parents' killer. I should go back to the mountain, maybe Chris's information was inaccurate. I doubt HE is in town. Go jumped out of the building and started swinging back to Master's jet. I just hope I don't encounter any more trouble until I return.

Yeah how about you or DMG?

 

"What?!?",asked the kid nervously. "Get ready come at me with the intention of killing me." That being said he might actually get me pretty well in a fight if i trained him. At that moment the kid had grabbed him from behind . But there was another kid standing right in front of him with a specific kind of hand seal. Clones? he thought. He turned around and gave the clone grabbing him from behind an electrical shock at about 10 volts. The kid dissapeared with a poof. "Shadow Clones?!? This kid can use a jonin level jutsu! What other tricks does he have up his sleeve?" he said to himself.

OOC: I just fought DMG, I guess I'll leave Go and convince someone to post here. I'll just use this time to train Fusion xP

Two days had passed and Fusion faced a boulder doing nothing. He held out his palm, closed his eyes, and concentrated with all his will power. He thought he heard the boulder move, but did not stop, as he had learned the hard way that the slightest break in concentration would ruin it and cause pain in your brain. Fusion then opened his eyes suddenly and lifted his arm in an upward, thrusting motion. The boulder floated off the ground by 2 feet then fell straight back down. This is harder than I thought. I thought it'd be a breeze since there's no labor involved in this training, but I can't seem to get it. If I can't get this down, I won't be a balanced fighter and I'll never be able to take...him down. Fusion then decided to take a break and meditated under the waterfall in Master's private hot spring. That fight with Donovyn made me push my limits. Maybe the path to Kyoja will be clearer to me if I seek beyond my capacity.

Ooc: I'm gonna need time to heal up, and maybe practice a couple of techniques.

Donovyn walked around a while, trying to find a good place to train without anyone noticing what he was up to. Next time he fought someone, he wanted to have the upper hand. He needed to learn how to use his newfound abilities. "This should be good enough," he said, finding a forest in which he could practice in secret. "But first, I need to take some time and heal thee wounds. But...how do I do that...I'm not a medical ninja. I don't know any Medical jutsu, or how to use plants. Even with herbs and whatnot, I'd need time. Time I don't have. He's getting stronger. I just know it."

Master Kenwei was reading a book about Go strategies when he suddenly heard a burst of water and rushed to the hot springs. "Fusion! What happened?" he yelled out as he approached. He found Fusion sitting cross-legged in a dry pool. The waterfall still gushed on his head and the surrounding land was now drenched and muddy. Kenwei then noticed the aura surrounding Fusion. "So you've finally done it. Is Kyoja Fusion what we expected?" Fusion stood up and calmly replied, "I remember when you first taught me how to meditate at the waterfall here. It took me two whole weeks to accomplish because the rushing water above my head was too distracting and it was a lot of pressure to bear. I've gotten used to it, but right before the water gushed out, I barely noticed it.." Kenwei smiled and said, "That's because of Kyoja. It rapidly increases your defense to the extent where you barely feel any contact. It'll help in close-combat fights as well, since it will be hard to make you flinch. Your skin even hardens which will increase your offensive strength as well." Fusion stared at his hands and pondered for a moment. He walked over to a side of the mountain and punched it at full strength. The mountain crumbled and afterward, Fusion said, "Normally it stings some when I punch rock. But not that time." He turned to Master and smiled, "So this means I've unlocked almost all of my hidden potential, right?" Master grinned and walked back in. "You should resume practicing telekinesis now, that was enough of a break." Fusion groaned and once again tried moving boulders with his mind.

As the flame patterns that covered the left half of Tenkai's body receeded to the base of his neck, he felt pain seep into his body. Now, with the Curse Mark's power subsided, he began to breathe heavily.

Excellent! I can sustain the Curse Mark for a much longer time period now... And even at my max, I only feel minimal pain after use... Even so, it still sometimes cripples after use. Tenkai began to look back on the previous days, the repairing of his home, the smoother flow of power from the Cursed Seal of Heaven, screaming in pain after using the Curse Mark's completed 1st stage for 10 minutes. But that was all in the past now. Tenkai's control over shadows and his Cursed Seal had improved immensely, yet it had caused him much pain in the process.

"Enough for today, time to go home..." He said, and he began walking back towards Mazushii Village. His training grounds were nothing more that an opening in the woods, were he "sniped" squirles and such with dart like shadows, training his accuracy. He also sawed down trees surrounding the opening to trade for food and drink, as lumber was needed for repairs in his poor hometown. Using the natural trail he always followed, Tenkai soon stood at the gates of Mazushii Village, strolling down the dirty streets, only to come to a stop before a house that looked to be a step up from a hut. Opening the door, for the blanket had been trashed and a door installed, Tenkai entered his home. Grey-ish light came in through the windows, giving him enough vision to light the candles scattered throught the area. Tenkai then shut the curtains of the few windows he had, prefering privacy over natural light. In the corner he had lived in as a child, was the bed he had stolen from a rich town a distance from Mazushii a few days back. Sliding under the covers, Tenkai closed his eyes and began to fall asleep.

Fusion X. Denver.... I will kill you...

Out of nowhere, Fusion sneezed and the boulder he was controlling dropped right back to the ground. He wiped his nose and was grumbling that an involuntary muscle spasm had disrupted his concentration. I'm getting the hang of connecting with the object, it's just controlling its movements afterward that is difficult. Fusion stood up and took a small break by training in Kyoja form. While my defenses and offenses are better than normal, my speed is somewhat impeded due to my heavy skin and such. If I want to use this in a fight, I need to be faster with it. He started running up and down the mountain as Kyoja Fusion. After an hour or so, he finally sat back down for lunch and a small rest. Go's been gone for a while now. What's keeping him? I hope he hasn't run into anyone dangerous, he hasn't been in serious fights yet. It'd be troublesome if someone like that ninja or Kurayami ran into him.

Donovyn punched in the direction of one of the trees. Using his ability to control the air, he enhanced the shock wave the punch created, causing lose bark to fall off. "Well, it's doing more damage than it was, but it's hardly doing enough. This confirms it. Had I been practicing jutsu, my Chakra would've run out by now. This power doesn't draw from my Chakra. I guess it draws power from the same thing Fusion draws power from." He ran toward a tree, and through another punch. This time, loose bark fell off. Donovyn groaned. "This isn't good enough. I have to be stronger." A punch, more bark. "Stronger than yeaterday," another punch, and a small dent in the tree. "Stronger than an hour ago!" punch, then a slightly larger dent on a different tree. "Stronger than a minute ago!" a larger dent, new tree. "Stronger than a second ago!" and then the next tree had a sizable dent in it. "Not what I'd like, but most definitely an improvement." he looked at his handy work, out of breath, though having not done any strenuous activity. "I see that fight also improved my stamina."

I was amazed he knew how to use such an advanced level jutsu. "Surprised, you should be Daybreak sama", he said. In a second I was behind him and i used the same jutsu i used on the counselors. "Wind Style Force Palm Jutsu!" I yelled. A force air erupted from my body and started at the kid who was running for his life. He made the Shadow Clone Jutsu hand sign. He made a shadow clone throw him out of the way of the blast. He then threw himself at me using a shadow clone and held a kunai in his hand only a few inches and getting closer. In a second I had his hand behind his head and kunai behind at his neck. "It's over", I said.

Fusion stood before the running waterfall with his eyes closed. Suddenly his eyes opened and he thrust both palms forward, then to his sides. The waterfall split into two smaller waterfalls instantly. He smiled and sat down to catch his breath. About time I pulled this off. Fusion looked over to the boulder he had been practicing with for a few days now. He focused on it, and successfully connected his mind with it. He slowly raised his arm and in doing so, lifted the boulder with telekinesis. It's moving precisely in coordination with my arm, good. He rested it back down and began to think. Master said telekinesis would help me, but he also said some of its uses were limited. Wonder what he meant?

Donovyn then glanced upward. "Okay, so that leaves just one technique. I just hope I can remember how I did it. And then get it to where I'm able to do it with varying degrees of strength." He prepared to jump as hard as he could, hoping he'd be able to repeat the jump he made to avoid Fusion's attack. He failed miserably. "Okay, let's try this," he closed his eyes, and tried to recall how he felt when that happened. Then he tried jumping again, focusing on exactly what he was doing, hoping he'd be able to remember how to do it.

Fusion and Master Kenwei sat down in the cabin eating dinner. "It seems as though you've grasped the basics of telekinesis. But I feel now that you must learn the weakness it hides." Fusion leaned in to listen as Master explained, "With telekinesis, it is easy to control and manipulate inanimate objects. However, things are different with living things, such as humans." Fusion then realized that if he could harness telekinesis well enough, no opponent would be able to touch him. "There's a risk involved with it Fusion," Master said while reading Fusion's expression. "When you connect your mind with the opponent's, it also gives them access to your mind. When that happens, either you or your opponent can turn the tables. If your willpower and mental strength is greater, the opponent will secede and your assault will be successful. However, if their mental strength and willpower is greater than yours, then the telekinesis will be turned back on you and will leave an opening for the opponent to strike." Fusion realized what Master was saying and resolved only to use it for last resorts. "Fusion, starting tomorrow, you will spar with me to perfect Kyoja Fusion and utilizing telekinesis mid-combat."

Donovyn began reliving the battle with Fusion. More specifically, the moment when he jumped higher than should be possible. He instinctively jumped, making the same movements, having the same thoughts, and he grasped what he had done. "So, I can move air out of my way and eliminate air resistance? Isn't that interesting? I wonder...could I do that with running?" He began doing pretty much what he had done with jumping, but in front of him, as he began to run. "huh, guess I'm still limited to what my muscles are able to do. Oh well." He slashed his arm to the side, and two nearby trees took severe damage. "It seems I've mastered that technique...The only problem is...what do I call it?"

Fusion stood facing Master Kenwei breathing heavily from exhaustion. They had been sparring for the past hour now and he was having trouble using telekinesis. For the umpteenth time, he feinted a swing at Master's head and then flung his palm straight at his face to connect their minds. Fusion briefly concentrated and ushered all his willpower into a force that he tried to project into Master's mind. However, the force could not break through Master's defenses, and once again Fusion was flung back by his own power. "Fine then, I'll go with Kyoja Fusion!" he yelled as the blue aura formed around him. He then began to throw punches at Master as fast as he could, but they kept being pushed aside and blocked. Fusion crouched and tried to sweep Master's legs, but he jumped and then grabbed Fusion's leg to swing him into the cliff side. Fusion received little damage, but returned to normal and collapsed on the ground. "He has much more to learn I suppose." Master said as he went inside to retrieve the first aid kit.

"Now, it's time." Donovyn said, standing limply in front of a heavily wooded area. He began to run as fast as he could toward the trees. He jumped as high as he could, ten feet, and launched a flurry of punches and kicks, causing several trees to break. He then formed a series of handsigns, much faster than he could before. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" A ball of fire shot out toward the trees. He then fed massive amounts of Oxygen to the flames, causing the flames themselves to grow in heat and intensity. He landed on the ground to find the fire had done more damage than he had intended. All of the trees that had not been destroyed, which were only three or four, were still on fire. He took a deep breath, and attempted to move the Oxygen away from the flaming trees, with no success. "So, I still need to work on that one." Well, I've got plenty of time. Assuming no one saw that insane Fireball..."

Go had encountered several ambushes by random thugs along his journey, but he managed to fend them all off as he found his way home. He sighed as he trudged up the mountain back to Master's cabin. Just great. All that time spent with nothing to show for it. And Fusion got to train during that whole time too, I need to catch up. Go didn't make it too far and decided to camp for the night. He found a small cave hidden right beneath a ledge that jutted out from the mountainside, he would be safe there. As he made his meal in silence, he thought back to his previous life where he lived normally, until the killer came and tore it to shreds. One day I'll find that guy and he'll rue the day he messed with Fusion and I. He fell asleep and thought ahead to what his day would be like the next day.

[BlackSkullCortez]

Cortez smiled jokingly at Shadow Zero. "Your kidding, right? You of all people know how to get out of here." Cortez channeled energy into his Chaos Emerald. "If you can't go through it... go through it anyways, I guess! Catch me if you can! Chaos Control!" Cortez suddenly gained a blue armor as he started levitating after calling out a chaos control. Wind burst around him as he went into a space-time flight, passing through the wall and going much farther. After he broke the Chaos Control, he used a Sonic Boost to run at full speed on the ground. If there is a "security" or deadly thing around here, I'm pretty sure I can conquer it. I've heard stuff like that while I was a pirate. Never turned out to be anything big. Cortez continued running towards the emerald, when he suddenly felt pulses coming from it. He paused. The pulse's rate increase. It was as if he was listening to the heartbeat of a creature. The pulse continued to increase. It was until the pulses came in unison that he realized what was coming. "No way. It shouldn't be that thing. If it is, I'm going to owe someone 50 rings." He heard a large vibration travelled through the ground as an enormous creature landed in front of him. The Biolizard was right in front of him, facing him in what seemed to be an aggressive mood. "I owe somebody 50 rings." Cortez finally muttered.
