Akatsuki of YCM's Hidden Base

"Hmph, so much for traps..." Yurusu muttered as he looked around, "Anyways, the room is a nice size, big enough for my bankai at least... And I need plently of space for that..." Yurusu turned back to the rest of the group, drawing his zanpakuto to his side in a swift motion.

"Alright, I need to know now," He whispered so Kisune couldn't hear, "can any of you shoot some sort of lightning? If so, speak up now..."

 

Tenkai's shadow swerved into the entrance to Sven's throne room, coming to a stop before a small barrier.

"Simple, Shadow Corrosion Technique..." Tenkai placed his hand in front of the wall, and shadows shot off of his arm onto the obstacle, eating away the energy that made it. Soon, a largish hole was formed that Tenkai walked through. When he looked forward, he saw a magnificent throne, a man sitting on it with two scrolls on the ground, left and right side of him. The barrier behind Tenkai closed up, sealing his way out.

"Sven... am I right?"

Fusion felt uneasy about this. "Guys...this is too easy. I mean, you'd think they'd be wary of teleporters and have better security. I mean...I literally just barged through the front door. With no problem. Maybe...we triggered a trap. Guys, be on your toes, we may not actually be in the base right now." He read their confused looks and he simply said, "Genjutsu. The ninja art that utilizes illusions to ensnare the senses. It may not be the case, but Kisune hasn't moved since we entered."

Moments after the front of the base was revealed, sensors went off and told Kisune and Sven people were at the entrance. They each went to their respective battle rooms and awaited the company. When the front door was revealed a barrior could be seen shining in the light, but what they didn't know was that it triggered a Genjutsu that allowed them to think they had entered into the base with no problems and were now coming upon any person they wished to face. Kisune sat meditating and Sven sat in his throne with a smirk on his face. In moments the genjutsu would wear off because it was only in place to slow down the opponents for Kisune and Sven to prepare.

[Fusion X. Denver]

Fusion activated Shokyoku Mode and used his Negative Zone to encompass the group. Everyone's senses were affected, then the genjutsu was null and void. Everyone was still together outside the entrance. "Seems as though they know we're here." Go said. "I see," Fusion said. "It was a ploy to ensure they would know of any intruders. They're expecting us now. Well, so much for stealth. Go, lead the way so your spider sense can detect any danger. Everyone charge!" They all ran in to see the corridor curved into a tunnel that you had to drop down. "That's weird architecture." Go commented. Fusion turned to normal and said, "Dude...Dragon Lords. And that kinda seems like a tail. What if-" "The whole base is designed like a dragon?!" Go interrupted. "Exactly," Fusion replied. "Now, where is Kisune and Sven?"

Yurusu came up behind Fusion, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I say at this rate we screw the finding their energy thing," He mumbled, "They probably made it undetectible by now or it will lead us into something bad. Plus, no one use teleportation, I sense traps if you try it." Yurusu glanced at Zeru, who probably wanted to explode in furry at the time.

 

Tenkai's vision went black, and then he stood before the entrance of the base. He listened to what Fusion said, enraged.

"Damn, played for a fool. But the sense of time... damn! Whatever, I'm coming for you Sven, and if I can help it, I'm getting there first. Though that Cortez guy probably wants to get there first as well..." Tenkai formed his shadow plane, as he called it now, and zoomed into the base. At last he came to the area where Fusion, Go, and Yurusu stood.

"Better speed up if you don't want Sven to be killed by the time you get there!" Tenkai chuckled, arcing down the tunnel. Yet when he reached the base, he dispersed his shadows and melted down into one himself again, sliding along the ground. He blended in with the darkness, slowly going along.

I'll wait for that Cortez guy, he's bound to run extremely fast... so I'll just hitch a ride on his shadow.

[Fusion X. Denver]

Fusion nodded when Yurusu spoke to him. Alright then we'll look the old-fashioned way. It seems as though the tail curves down for quite a while. Go can stick to walls however, he will scout ahead and trigger or alert us of traps." At that, Go started running down the tail, defying gravity with his ability as he went. His spider sense flared up as two traps shot spears at him. He jumped to avoid them all and caught the wall with his webbing to avoid falling a long way. But in doing that, the wall exploded with several blades, severing the webbing and causing Go to fall again. He made a mini web balloon and floated for a second, only to activate all the motion detectors which emitted poison gas. He let go and dropped out of the cloud without breathing, then grasped the wall, skidding his fingers along the way. It went on like this for a while until he was at the bottom. He yelled, "I think it's okay now! It's a long way though, so anyone who can't fly, grab onto someone who can and hover down carefully! And don't breathe near the bottom, a gas trap was activated."

Yurusu disappeared from next to Fusion, appearing a few feet behind Go.

"Or someone like myself could always flash step his way down, hehe." Yurusu commented. He turned to the deeper part of the base, begining to dash down the tunnel.

Tenkai, how far have you gotten? What is the point of this stone? Did our training really matter that much?

 

Tenkai's shadow picked up the pace, ignoring any threat for traps he had cared about.

I might as well get as far as I can before Cortez shows up, no point in wasting time. Plus, what if I get there before he does? Hehehe... Tenkai quickened even more at the sight of a door up ahead, yet as he carried on, the door got no closer.

My sense of distance must be broken in here... of course, it better not be a genjutsu...

[Fusion X. Denver]

Fusion and the others ran up as well. Soon they were running in a tunnel that seemed to stretch on for miles. After some time, the group arrived at a barrier. "Hey...how do we break through this?" Fusion asked aloud. He tried a Thunderhand, but the attack bounced off and didn't work. "There's probably a trick to breaking it...guys, you have any ideas?" Fusion knew Go was just as useless as he in this situation and waited to see if anyone knew how to get through.

OOC: Fusion, there isn't supposed to be nay traps or barriers... =.= But I'll go along with it. :/

Tenkai was darting towards the door when he heard the crackle of Fusion's attack.

The hell? Must have been one of them trying to break through that barrier I passed back there... Tenkai morphed back into his own form, palming two shadows he now held in his hands.

"If you can't do it yourselves... Shadow Corrosion Techinque: Range!" Tenkai threw both of the shadows, which darted back towards the barrier. He then became a shadow again, zipping deeper into the tunnel, the door at last getting bigger. Too big.

 

Yurusu pondered the barrier for a second before it began to be eaten away, shadows corroding the energy that created it.

"Guess Tenkai helped us out..." He said as he passed through.

OOC: He mentioned a barrier for the fighting rooms I think. Ok I'm leaving NOW (for work)

Fusion and the rest walked in. It was a broad room that extended around them for several, several, meters. It also had many different passages in the walls, placed in random places each and every one. On the bottom of the room, Fusion could make out one individual. He jumped down and landed to face him. He hadn't seen those eyes for a long time. Fusion checked his senses to try and make sure this was legitimate, then approached the man meditating. "Kisune Kaguya."

Kisune kept his eyes closed as the door to the room he was in opened. He waited until he heard all the footsteps stop at the top of the bowl. The ceiling was so high that it couldn't be seen. Showing they were farther down then they thought. As Fusion landed in front of him and asked his name, he gave a smirk. "So you are here to seek revenge. You are no better off then me and Sven, nor are you better then the others above you," he said. Then he opened his eyes, showing his sharingan was not in his eyes at the moment. "I told you if I ever saw you again, you would die. Do you not remember?" he questioned Fusion. There was an open hallway on the other side, but so were the other hallways. So many choices.

Tenkai came to a dead end after a long time, and he morphed back into his normal self, staring at the wall in front of him.

"No way... I came all this way for nothing? Just a frikin dead end... wait..." Tenkai closed his eyes, remembering the path he had taken so far. The group had come down that tail and raced along the back, where they had passed Kisune's room. Tenkai however, had carried on past that, reaching farther into the base. If that was all correct, then...

"Then I must be at the neck." Tenkai fused shadows with his feet, launching himself upward into the darkness, "How... how far does this go though?"

 

Yurusu turned to Go, drawing his zanpakuto.

"Yo, should we let him do his little revenge thing or help him ourselves?"

[Dranzer]

"It would be roude to make him be the only one with a killing intent."Zeru said pulling of his guns and shooting lightning bullets at Kisune.As he pulled the last trigger he launched a Fire Phoenix Justu from above and hid Shuriken with explosive tags inside the fireballs in case Kisune blew them away with his wind jutsu."Now what will you do." Zeru said with a quiet voice analyzing Kisune's next move.

After making his way through the curves of the neck, Tenkai landed on a bare platform before an open door. As the door was ungaurded, Tenkai walked slowly into the room, seeing a vast area, that made it seem like they were in a dragon's head.

"Technically I am..." Tenkai whispered as he entered the room, seeing a throne in the distance. He walked within 100 of the throne, observing that 2 scrolls lay at it's feet.

For his team to get here in an instant... hmph, at least this isn't a genjutsu. Tenkai drew his katana, infusing it with shadows that turned the blade into a line of black fire.

"Alright Sven, that's what your name is I suppose... I'm here for one thing right now: To wear you down a little until the others arrive... after that, you're gonig down!"

With a simple handsign, an earth dome covered Kisune and expanded outward knocking Fusion backwards. The lightning struck the dome and did no effect to it. Then the fire also did no effect, but the exploding tags on the shuriken crumbled the dome's front that it hit. Kisune stood up, whiping the dust and granite off his clothing. "If that was your best combo, you will all die here," he stated. Then he did 2 handsigns and disappeared into the ground. He strutted under everyone, deciding who to pull under. Then suddenly multiple hands appeared out from under the ground and grabbed everyone's ankle who was in the room. The moment they were grabbed, everyone was pulled underground while multiple clones shot out from behind them. The real Kisune was mixed in with one of these clones. "Now you will all die a painful death as I kill you each slowly," the clones all said in unison with Kisune.

 

Sven still had the smirk on his face when Tenkai arrived. He lifted his hand up and began an incantation, that unless with a few feet of him, it could not be heard. Then suddenly 6 rods of yellow reiatsu appeared around Tenkai. It was a simple Bakudo that trapped whoever was ensnared in it. Since Sven had stated it's incantation, the kido was stronger and getting out would prove much harder to do. "You can't slow me down, if you cannot move," Sven said as he got up from the throne. He gave a laugh as he watched Tenkai struggle in the kidou.

"And I'm afraid Sven," Tenkai called out, "You can't trap me with simple barriers, I always have a way out of thing such as this..." He struggled to tighten his left hand into a fist, letting shadows flow into it. The Curse Mark spread like wild fire over the left half of his body, surging energy through him. At last his hand was pitch black, shadows emenating from it.

"As long as I have shadows... I cannot be stopped. Shadow Corrosion Technique..." A couple shadows began to eat away at the reiatsu, weakening the restraint. Then Tenkai, with a little more freedom than before, opened the infused hand, sending a jet of energy at the ground. The blast lifted him out of the ring, carrying him a few feet in front of it.

"That was a pretty nifty binding, but I'm going to ware you down... Curse Mark Technique: Shadow Fang!" Tenkai grabbed his katana with both hands, arcing across his body. The black flames that formed the blade sent out a blast of fire towards Sven.

[Ultimate Assassin Ninjew]

Sven simply held out his palm as Tenkai escaped from the binding. "You are so weak by yourself," he stated before saying, "Bala." A red ball of reiatsu blasted out of his palm and into the black flames that came towards him. The explosion stopped the flames from advancing, ending the attack. Then Sven released his spiritual pressure onto Tenkai, revealing a dark red aura around his body. The pressure was immense and deadly, but since Tenkai wasn't use to it or ever been around it before the effects were bad. It was as if his soul began to submit and wish for death. "Is something wrong Tenkai," Sven mocked.

[Fusion X. Denver]

When Kisune activated his earth dome, Fusion jumped before getting hit and used jet-fires to remain airborne and then saw everyone's feet get grabbed by Kisune. "You're sadly mistaken Kisune. The only time I will fight for revenge will be against one certain person, and you are not him. I fight you because you're a sadistic murderer who will bring the world into chaos. I will kill you to save the world!" Fusion then activated Shokyoku Mode and expanded his Negative Zone to encompass all the Kisunes that could be seen. With his senses distorted, his control over his shadow clone jutsu should be weakened. Surely enough, Go simply punched and kicked the hands away and then swung to the other side. "Guys, Fusion's buying us time! Let's all head in this passage way to where Sven is. Kurayami won't last long!" Fusion smirked as Go and the base team took off so that only he, Bando, Zeru, Tsuki, Derek, and Yurusu remained. "Now Kisune, we can begin." He saw where the real one was and fired a gigantic fireball at him. He then returned to normal, landed on the ground, and followed up the fireball with a Thunderhand that he shot out at Kisune as a lightning bolt.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow was not one that particularly liked waiting around, but decided that it would be best if he did not intervene right away. Even so, he did not like being away from where a battle was likely to be taking place, so instead of using Chaos Control to take him directly to where the battle with Sven was taking place, he used a simple, if longer, technique called a Chaos Warp that would allow him to do quick site to site teleportation in a manner different from Chaos Control. In this manner, he was able to reach Sven in a matter of minutes, by which point Tenkai was already there and fighting him. Not wishing to intervene just yet, he moved to a corner of the room and simply watched, waiting either for the others to show up, or for such a time as he would have no choice but to intervene so as to keep Tenkai from getting killed.

[Dranzer]

After Zeru went into the ground he used a fire ball jutsu to blast himself into above and pulled out his pistols again."Lightning Style: Lighning Murder" Zeru said as lightning began swirling around his gun.After that he aimed at Kisune and shot a real lightning at him.After that he used chakra to stay on one of the walls so he could have a better shooting angle and blasted lightnings at Kisune again.

OOC: Chaos, they said you can't teleport in the base...

Tenkai began to sweat, his will to even fight draining every second.

Damn, why should I go on? There's no point in it... everything's hopeless... my body feels like its being eaten alive... I don't even see any point in standing anymore... Sven... you bastard... Tenkai collapsed, dropping his sword to his side. He lay there, slowling dying as Sven's reiatsu bashed away at his life force, each mili second destroying his will. As he lay there, images went through his head: Him and his best friend pulling their money together to buy a snack, finding out about his shadow powers, meeting Yurusu for the first time, going to Karamana Town and facing Fusion, training with Yurusu, giving Yurusu the stone. The stone. In his mind, that was what his attention was fixated on.

I can't die yet... not this soon... If I die like this, the stone won't be of any worth... I have to stand! Tenkai slowly began to rise, gripping his sword tightly as the reiatsu still pounded against his energy.

"All right Sven... From here on out, no holding back on my part," Tenkai said as the Curse Mark enveloped his body, completing Stage 1, "I came here to complete my goals, and I'm not going to let you stop me. That power of yours may eat away at my soul, but I'm pretty sure, with all the hell I've gone through with the Curse Mark, I'll get used to it! Uproar Flames!" Tenkai brought the tip of the black flames in his sword into the ground, flicking up the katana to point at Sven. A paper thin, 10 foot high line of black flames came at Sven. When it reached the throne's base, it encircled the structure, growing larger and larger, consuming it in fire.

 

Yurusu held the stone in his hand, and noticed it suddenly became warm. He looked at it, feeling Tenkai's energy emenating through it.

What connection does this give me with Tenkai? When he powers up it becomes hot? What's the point in that Tenkai!? Yurusu pocketed the stone, turning to the battle.

All ways seem to be closed of from the attacks, but... that guy will probably blow it all away again or something! Time to intervene... Yurusu disappeared from where he originally stood, appearing roughly 5 meters away from Kisune's back. He pointed his zanpakuto forward, mumbling under his breath.

"Pursue, Sutoraiki..." The zig zag patters on his soul cutter floated of and became small lightning bolts, hovering around him like bodygaurds. Yurusu slashed at 3 of them, sending one straight for Kisune and the other two to come from opposite sides, left and right.

Kisune knew what was going on when he felt his senses dull. "So you use that on me again do you, but this time it won't work," he thought to himself. He put his hands together and Release. It was meant for genjutsu's, but because of the similar effects, it would work just the same. When the fireball came towards him, a clone jumped in front of him and took the impact. 4 other clone's gang rushed Fusion as he came towards Kisune, holding Fusion back by the arms, legs and torso. Meanwhile another clone was watching Zeru and performed handsigns to create a mud wall to block the lightning's attack. Since Kisune wasn't at a certain sid eof the clones, but in the center, he had protection form all sides. This was one of his defenses. Though Kisune's physically could not see what was going on for each clone, they in turn could see and act appropriately. When Yurusu appeared behind him a clone was right there watching and so reacted accordingly. The clone performed a handsign and did a fire ball justu into Yurusu as he went to strike Kisune with the lightning bolts. Hearing the fireball jutsu, Kisune jumped into the air thinking the attack was from one of the opponents and was directed at him. He closed his eyes for the first time in the match since he was meditating. When he opened them, his mangekyou Sharingan shown in them. He had gotten serious. He did a serious of handsign before his body started sprouting bones made of metal. On his back were spikes while his elbows and knees also had one on them too. His forearms had 3 thin blades each curved backwards. His hands now held two metal bone swords while his fingers were clawed. Lightning then started dancing around the room as the jutsu he used was for Lightning Storm. Strikes were hitting everywhere at random. Dodging them would have to be perfect. "No Fusion. Now we begin," he said.

 

As Shadow attempted to teleport, an electrical shot ran through his body. It seemed that there was some device preventing simple transportation other than through scrolls. If Shadow wanted to move on he would have to walk or run or even fly if he could.

 

Sven watched Tenkai drop to the ground and laughed. "Such weakness you have," he said. Then as tenkai stood and atatcked, Sven gathered reiatsu in front of him and called out, "Danku." A wall of reiatsu stopped the flames in their tracks and protected Sven. Then in a sonido he was gone from place and appeared behind Tenkai. "Cero," he called out, holding a cero in his other hand. He blasted the cero into Tenkai from behind, either killing him or injuring him badly. "You are too weak to face me alone," Sven stated.

[Fusion X. Denver]

When the clones grabbed Fusion, he blasted them all away by rapidly spinning and using a kiai. He turned to normal and faced Kisune, who had grown more bones. Is my Negative Zone like a genjutsu then? I guess it'll only work with direct contact now. He weaved his way across the room, dodging all the lightning strikes that randomly came his way. In close proximity to Kisune, Fusion slammed a Thunderhand in the ground to send a fissure of lightning at Kisune. With a few seconds of time that he had bought himself from that, Fusion made a Shinseiken, jumped up, and yelled, "Everyone move from Kisune!" he threw the sphere and a large explosion occurred, hopefully Fusion had inflicted some damage there from its destructive properties. Least he's not in dragon form yet where attacks like Shinseiken won't work..

The explosion from the cero created a small amount of smoke, that when cleared, revealed Tenkai, lying face down on the ground. The back of his outfit was torn up and burnt, but he didn't look to be too seriously injured.

"I don't know why you call me weak Sven," Tenkai coughed as he stood up, "When you haven't been able to severely damage me so far, only bang me up a little. That attack you just did, it surely would have crippled me if I hadn't formed a barrier of shadows on my back at the last second... Before you talk down to me, try proving you can end my right here..." Tenkai turned to face Sven, wiping away a smear of blood on his chin. The Curse Mark glowed for a second, then returned to its normal black color. He held out his left hand, drawing his katana the layed a few meters away into his grasp. The black flames on his sword became hotter, sizzling the air around it.

"Now... I won't let the others arrive, with you at full strength! Fading Shadow Technique!" Tenkai's shadow rose off the ground, forming into a silhoute of Tenkai, also holding a flaming sword. The two darted away from each other, coming at Sven from both sides.

 

Yurusu flashstepped away from the fireball, appearing standing on the clone's shoulders. He pushed off of him, sending him faceplanting into the ground as he carried higher towards the ceiling. As he was going up, a shot of lightning came at him from Kisune's jutsu, and he pointed his zanpakuto at it, absorbing the blast.

Turning the enemy's attack against him... just my style. Fool of you using a lightning style attack Kisune... With the recent addition to his power, the lightning bolts he had shot off before formed in front of him again. He slashed at them, aiming all of his bolts towards a clone each, and one at Kisune.

[Dranzer]

When the Thunder Storm Jutsu began Zeru yelled "Oh realy original Kisune,reaaly original." after that he said made a few handsigns "Fire Style- Blazing Ocean" with that the whole floor was filled with fire destroying all the clones.After that fire columns began forming towards the sealing countering some of the lightning,but most of them were still falling.When Fusion hit Kisune with the fireball he used a ram handsign and used a ninjutsu "Ninja Art: Amplyfy." with that Fusion's fireball growed twice as big.
