Akatsuki of YCM's Hidden Base

[Daybreak]

Bando looked at the team that had come together in only a few days. They each had his own way of doing things. They would probably all have to work together to beat these Dragon Lords. Regardless of their previous quarrells they had to put them aside and work as one or eventually we'll all lose something like I have from these bastards.... He then spoke to them standing up. "All right here is the thing. If you don't want to die you need to work together. Don't go at them without backup from one of us. These guys are stronger than anyone of us. So it is imperative that we work together. All right let's move."

[El Make]

"Yo genius with the stupid speech," Tenkai called out to Bando, "Don't you know anything? For the past 15 minutes we've been waiting for that Cortez guy to give us the signal its clear to move out. So don't go off and preach when you don't even know what's going on..."

There goes Tenkai again, always insulting people. Geez, I wish the guy would just- Yurusu's thoughts were cut off as his world went black, and a resonating voice echoed around him.

Yurusu... are you ready?

Hell I'm ready! It's just another fight, and I'm pretty sure this guy can feel pain... hehe... that Jazeth guy was a freak.

I hope you actually remember how to release my full state, fool! It's been so long since I've been able to unleash my power, you've been too reluctant!

Don't worry my friend, I think I have no choice but to use Bankai in this fight. I just don't like revealing my powers to people. Gives them to much to exploit.

When the time comes, NEVER be hesitant to release me... it may very well save your life... Yurusu's world returned to normal, seeing Tenkai mumbling to himself about Bando, who had yet to make a reponse of somesort.

"Same old, same old..."

[Ultimate Assassin Ninjew]

Kisune and Sven were meditating when the TV in the room came on with Cortez's broadcast. "Hmm, so that's so took down Azera. This resistance.." Sven thought. He looked at Kisune and got a nice little plan in his head. "Kisune make a clone and I'll transport him to the location. Then to show them we mean business about what we are doing, we both will go destroy a town slowly and painfully. That way they will know that resisting us will only lead to more deaths. After that we'll return here and take our usual meditation," he stated. Kisune nodded and did a handsign, creating an exact clone. All 3 of them got up and Sven opened two Garganta's, one for the clone, the other for him and Kisune.

 

In moments, a Garganta opened in front of Cortez and "Kisune" walked out to meet him. "You have come alone to face me?" he questioned Cortez, though it was a retorical question at that.

 

Meanwhile the second Garganta appeared over a village called Konohagakure. Sven and Kisune stepped out of this one and Sven traveled to the ground in mere seconds. Sven pressed his Spiritual Pressure amoung the entire town, targeting everyone. Kisune stayed in the air and did a few handsigns before putting his palms below him. "Poison Mist Jutsu," he called out. Suddenly the sky turned dark and began raining, but as the water hit the ground a mist formed. Sven was also caught up in this jutsu, but it seemed that he didn't care. All the people outside soon began screaming for their lives as Sven's pressure was nearly killing them. However the mist only made it worse as the poison in the water seeped into their bodies and was slowly killing them from the inside out. People who were inside ran outside to see the problem and the cause of the commotion only to be caught in both techniques. Soon the rain stopped and Sven stopped using his pressure. Many people had died, most of the village in fact. The wereabouts of the Hokage were unknown seeing as they never came outside. Sven rose back into the air while the sky cleared. It was noticed that his heirro, being as strong as steel and made of reiatsu, stopped the poisen from entering his body. Then he and Kisune appeared back into the base using the scroll of instant teleportation.

 

The Kisune clone then spoke after many minutes of silence. "Many more have died because of your threat. Find our base and face us or more will perish. We will not to brought into a fight if those that wish to stop us want to fight. A single clue to help you get started in finding us," the clone said. He handed Cortez a scroll that read ' Where I met you all. ~ Sven'.

[Fusion X. Denver]

The news report suddenly switched to a story reporting the death of thousands from the village Konohagakure. "Hey! Isn't that supposed to be the strongest ninja village? And they just annihilated them?!" Go yelled. Fusion quivered in his sneakers, not believing what had just happened. "They're not there anymore." he finally said. "I doubt they confronted Cortez either. My guess is they sent Cortez some sort of message." He then turned to them and closed his eyes/ I haven't tried long distance telekinesis before but maybe... Fusion suddenly smiled. "Guys, I've perfected telepathy by using telekinesis. Cortez just told me that he was given a scroll by what was obviously a shadow clone. Regarding their base, it says 'Where I met you all.'" Fusion paused for a moment and said, "Derek and Shadow should know. It's the plain near Karamana Town where Shadow fought Donovyn. And also where Sven fought Derek and briefly encountered me. We should go there now."

[El Make]

"Jesus, can for once something go down without a problem?" Tenkai said, falling onto his back and laying down, "Seriously, doesn't it seem like everytime we're about to do something, someone like Dragon Lords and the cosmic guy over there mess it up? Giant mystical bubbles and now this..."

"C'mon Tenkai, it's not like people have control over stuff like this... if people are nuisances, that's what they'll be!"

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways, this ought to bring back some memories, huh Fuse? Karamana's probably still pretty pissed at the two of us," Tenki chuckled, "So in all seriousness, which one of you is teleporting us there? It'd take us too long to fly, and teleportation was are original plan anyway."

Hehehe.... that little speech probably got under Cosmic Dude's skin... When this things over I think I'll teach him not to try and threaten me with his little energy stuff.

[Fusion X. Denver]

"Either Shadow or Zeru can teleport us, it doesn't matter which. We just need to get moving now and start tracking them." He then thought back to Karamana Town and the rise of his criminal status there. "Although, I'm not entirely sure if I'm still wanted right now. I'm sure news of my defending Kougakure has already spread. Especially since it, along with the other Hidden Ninja Villages have been the center of attention on the news lately. I'm hoping it'll revoke my B-rank and help Karamana realize I never meant to cause destruction there."

[El Make]

"Shadow's his name, eh?" Tenkai said, resting his hands behind his head and closing his eyes, "Well, I feel better with the Zeru guy. At least he doesn't believe in all that cosmic stuff... And Fusion, you're always the optimist, huh? Always looking at the bright side? For all you know, they misinterpretted this fight too, and are upgrading you to A-rank villain. To be honest, that'd make my day! Hahaha..."

Yurusu groaned, there was no end to Tenkai's black heart. But there was some kindness in their, a tiny drop of kindness trying to break through the stone walls keeping it in. Sadly, that kindness was probably defeated by now, and it was far too late to set it free.

[Fusion X. Denver]

Go stared Tenkai down. "Feh, maybe you're just jealous that Fusion has friends and you don't?" Fusion shot him a look, "Alright enough. Let's not start internal disputes now. We need to focus. As for that Kurayami, well, it's unsure of what would occur. Except I actually fought Bando back here," he pointed to him. He then opened his Bingo Book and flipped to a page. "He's an S-rank here. All the other ninjas deemed him a threat while Kougakure has treated him as their hero. And I tied with him. So I may even be upped to S in that misunderstanding." He closed the book and pocketed it. "Of course, I wouldn't want to be recognized as a criminal. It's like how Peter Parker, the man who was once known as Spider-Man, lived. He did anything for the people despite them branding him as a wanted criminal and never praised him at times. But he did it anyway." He then stared directly at Tenkai, "Whether I'm recognized as a criminal or not no longer matters. As long as I stick to my values and fight for my brand of justice to protect the innocent, then that's all I need to be satisfied." He then lied down as well, waiting for someone to teleport them to the plain.

[El Make]

"I'll be sure to tell your little speech about being okay as a criminal to the police. Though, with all you're friends you'd be out in a second," Tenkai grumbled, turning his head to see Go, "You're that spider dude huh? Well, I'll tell you this: friends are for losers. They just hold you back and make you put your life on the line for them. The last person in the world I envy is Fusion. But I'd rather not waste my breath talking to you, who will never shift positions. You lot refuse to accept anything other than the illusion of goodness you see, not realizing what's really going on... so go ahead. While I'm becoming stronger, you guys can go and talk about friendship. The only friend I ever had died long ago, and it was all I needed to realize the truth. So don't preach to me." Tenkai turned on his side, making Go face his back.

[Daybreak]

OOC: Bando is being the nice guy in this post. 10 bucks says Tenkai won't shake bandos hand. :D

 

"You're wrong about one thing fuse, I'm not deemed a threat to 3 villages, Ame, Konoha , and Suna. Ame because I'm a legend in that village due to my relationship with Pain. Konoha and my village are friend villages to each other we go on missions for each other and support each other financially. Well Suna and my village specialize in Power balance between all the villages. " Bando was so angry at the pain he was feeling because of the attack not only on his village but also a village that his village has an alliance with. " Hey you with the bad attitude." pointing at Tenkai. " Wouldn't you give anything to have that friend back? If he was close to you you must have had some sort of strong bond. Friends are not for losers. Your true friends you can depend on. Like....well....me. Since you are coming with us if there was a situation in which you were about to die I would take the hit for you because you are joining us and that means you are our comrade. That is what friendship is all about being able to trust one another." He held his hand out to shake his.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow had had enough. As he heard news over the t.v. about the attack on Konohagakure, he was surrounded by a red energy and the ground began to shake. He was one wrong word or move away from going on a rampage, but was still somehow able to keep his calm. He turned his head to Primus and said that he would renew the contract that Ranmyaku Shadou had made with her, speaking low enough that only she was able to hear him. At this she merged with him, disappearing from sight inside of his body and bonding with it as a symbiote might bond with its host. The contract renewal complete, Shadow caused a Light of Chaos to appear and started tossing it up into the air and letting it fall into his hand before tossing it up again, doing this between five to ten times before catching and holding onto it. "Time to move out men. Chaos Control!" Shadow held the Light of Chaos in front of him and teleported everyone to the planes of Karmana town. He was ready to fight against and defeat the Dragon Lords, although he wondered where Luko the insane had gotten to. At least, he had seemed insane the last time that he had seen him.

[Fusion X. Denver]

Finally, after all the preparation, the group was at the location where some of their paths crossed for the first time. "Alright guys, time to start looking the old fashioned way! They've probably rigged their hideout so sensors like Liz and Yurusu can't detect them properly. So search!" As the others began to do so, Fusion went over to where some of the ground was worn and cracked. Was this where Donovyn and Shadow fought? Either way, I need to find traces of Sven. Fusion scanned the ground with his eyes for anything, anything at all. Then he noticed burn marks a bit away from where he stood. Ah of course. Sven fought Derek too from what I've heard. These must be from his Ceros or whatever he calls them. The power that can destroy cities.. He brought everyone's attention to where he was and said, "I'm sure that a Dragon Lord's attacks would leave a lot of energy behind. Could someone maybe analyze the ground to see if there's any remaining energy left in the ground? Maybe when one of our sensors gets direct contact with an energy sample, they can use it to find the base directly, with or without it being cloaked."

[Mr.WHAM]

"If you mean analyze the reiatsu that was used to make the Ceros, then yes ,yes I can. Well I can sense Sven's reiatsu because he's an Arrancar. It comes with the territory . He can sense mine too. But I can feel it coming from over that direction. It can't be more than a mile or two away, but it's there. It's serious though. Those Ceros won't just be the least of your worries, but stay away from them. They are made of reiatsu. Now-" Ze'borova began to close his eyes. "If you all would follow the path that I'm laying for you, we should be there in no time." He held his hand by where his Zanpaktou's hilt would be as he said his release phrase. "Howl In Armageddon, Raikou!" A surge of electricity pulsed in his hand as the Zanpaktou and Ze'borova's lightning powers came into the match. "I'm looking forward to this." His reiatsu flourished. He took off headed east, leaving a blazing trail of lightning for the others to follow. He did his best not to move to fast but he would still be ready and waiting for them.

[Fusion X. Denver]

OOC: Derek is one of our group. I think you mean Sven, as Derek is not an Arrancar, but Sven is.

IC:

"Come on, let's follow guys!" Fusion ran behind Ze'b, doing his best to keep up at his normal speed. Soon the trail ended and they were in a clearing in woods. "It seems the hideout is underground," Fusion said. "Go, is your spider sense flaring at all? I know that senses danger, not energy, so it shouldn't be able to be tampered with." Go seemed to be concentrating and said, "Honestly no. But my gut is telling me that their hideout is very nearby." Fusion thought for a second and said, "Well, may as well knock on the front door, right?" He jumped as high as he could, infused his hammer with some energy, a trick he'd been wanting to try since using it with fire and electricity, then slammed it onto the ground, causing a mini quake which erupted the ground surrounding them.

[Mr.WHAM]

Ze'borova moved left and right as he to smashed the ground assisting Fusion. "Alright, from here on out its not so secret stealth I take it." The ground caved in as they were lead striaght to the entrance of the tower. Ze'borova's body rippled as he felt Sven's spiritual pressure. "Woah...that's serious. No matter, at least he won't be one of those people who can't lay a finger on you because their pressures not strong enough." Ze'borova looked at Fusion. "I can sense his reiatsu about 300 kilometers from here. It seems that there may be some more unexplored part of this base. Well no matter what, we still have to get inside and get rid of him. Then his soul can be at peace again. Though I'm sure that if he isn't sent to hell, then he'll be locked up. I'd rather him find a new way to be forgiven. Well at least the hollow will be at relative peace. Ready when you are."

[El Make]

Tenkai slapped Bando's hand away, turning his back to him.

"Pfft. I don't want him back," Tenkai said, "It's becasue of his death I became to realize my powers in the first place. Having him back would only get in my why, conflicting my emotions... And I wouldn't want you to protect me, I can handle myself..." The group was then warped to the plains near Karamana town, and soon Ze'b made his trail which everyone followed. At the site, Tenkai grimaced while watching Fusion and Ze'b batter away at the land, crushing all hope for stealth they had.

Well, they may not want stealth, but I sure as hell do... Time to use my Sneaking Shadow technique for the first time in a while... The Curse Mark on Tenkai's neck quickly glowed, but did not expand, and Tenkai melted into a small shadow on the ground. The shadow avoided the gazes of the group, slipping into the entrance of the base.

There he goes again. Doesn't he know people will wonder where he is? Yurusu groaned.

[BlackSkullCortez]

Cortez tried to use the print from the scroll and register it into his Fire Soul. However, he was not able to track the origin or full power of the energy. He swung once at blinding speed, which easily took out Kisune's clone. "Sorry, Sven. You won't be fooling me too easily." He felt Chaos energy, and smiled. My backup is working. I wonder if Shadow knew about it. Shadow was the one to teleport them to the base, and Cortez, still in the desert, was still able to track that energy. He used another Chaos Punishment to move to the base, and managed to regroup with the rest of them. "So, are we doing the same entry procedures? This time, we'll be putting the two separate groups into combat. And because we're in their base, we might have to improvise. They designed it so that they'll have a fighting advantage."

[Fusion X. Denver]

Fusion had been keeping an eye on Tenkai since he was still wary of what he'd do, and found he managed to sneak through the entrance. "It's been heavily reinforced...almost as if over 1000 people crafted it for utmost security.." Fusion said. He charged a Thunderhand and burst through. "Everyone, now we must move with stealth. Everyone shall go off into their groups now. Base team, I recommend you work your way through the base to disable all the traps, then rig the whole base to explode somehow and then make your escape. Cortez, Derek and Liz share telepathy, so our groups can communicate with each other at all times and you guys can alert us when the base will blow. My team, we have to find Kisune. Now that we're in the base, it should be easier to locate their energy signatures. Yurusu or Liz, where is Kisune?"

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow had kept up rather easily with Ze'Borova and immediately began searching with hie eyes to see if there was anything out of place. Then Fusion showed up and began pounding away at the ground, helped by Ze'Borova, which ended up causing the ground to cave in, but showed where the entrance to the base was. Unfortunately, their foes were still 300 or more kilometers away, which left them with quite a journey. Still, it would be all to easy to use Chaos Control to take them directly to the two remaining Dragon Lords, and then the fight would begin. At that moment, Cortez arrived and commented on the way that the base would likely be set up, and Shadow shook his head as he turned towards the door. It doesn't matter how powerful they are, or the advantages that they may or may not have, they won't be able to survive my new power." At Fusions comment about the start of the mission, Shadow thought quietly to himself about the best way to proceed. Hmmm.....it might be a bit early for it, but Black Phazon would definitely be the best way to go for this particular task.

[BlackSkullCortez]

Cortez said to Shadow, "Hey, before you go, I have an idea that can weaken them. It takes a WHOLE lot of Chaos Energy to use this, but I think you can do it better because you have more Chaos Emeralds." Cortez went and whispered to Shadow, "Try to create large spheres of Space-Time vortexes. Derek told me that when he created a Black Hole and threw it at Sven, Sven looked a bit worried. It's a gamble, but it will most likely be our trump card." Cortez nodded at Liz. Liz pointed down one corridor, "Over this way. Cortez, now that you're here, what will you do?" Cortez swung his sword. "I'm going directly for Sven, so he doesn't take out another city. Work on destroying the base. And Derek, if you need it," He winked, "Bring in the desert."

[El Make]

Tenkai's shadow slithered down a passage, coming to a stop after about 10 minutes. Forming into his normal self, he made sure he put distance between himself and the group. He pulled out a small black stone, identical to the one he gave Yurusu.

"Yurusu... I hope the stone works. I god damn hope you keep it with you all this time! The only way I can know you'll be safe.. is if this plan works..." Tenkai felt the kindeness in his heart seeping out, yet he pushed it back as much as he could. Now wasn't the time to get feelings.

 

Yurusu noted Liz's and Cortez's words, chiming in himself.

"I hope you know down that corridor is a giant maze of corridors you'll probably end up blasting your way through... either that or take to the stealth plan."

I can sense energy too, people, and I can tell you've got some nice obstacles in front of you...

[BlackSkullCortez]

Liz nodded at Tenkai. "Gotcha. Can you figure out the whole thing? I'll try to figure out everything in here, though there's a bunch of things that I can't recognize." Cortez said, "Instead of looking for everything, Liz, since you can distinguish energies, try to find something like... their Achilles Heel. Their gleaming weakness, if they have one. You're the best person that could do that. And I have a feeling that it won't be that hard to find. Based on earlier fights, they wouldn't have the best advantage in confusing corridors."

[El Make]

OOC: Yurusu, is the one who spoke, Tenkai is already scouring the base. =.=

IC:

 

"Well, there doesn't seem to be too many traps to be honest. The only ones I can tell though is where Kisune and Sven have been, as they made the things themselves, their energy covers the trap and allows me to get a picture in my mind of what the trap is. I may be off on some, but when you first enter the maze like structure, prepare for a bunch of arrows to shoot out at us. And these arrows are large and extremely sharp from what I can feel... Yet... there's something different about them, like they were covered in energy to strike harder... But after that it's pretty scare aside from a barrier at the end... Then again, for all I know we could get shot up with a cero... But I think I know the path through it." Yurusu sighed, a barrier and THEN Kisune. It would be pure hell.

 

Tenkai formed into a shadow again, bolting down the hallway he was in, getting deeper into the base.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow remained silent for a time, considering the best way to proceed. He had decided to not use Black Phazon Just yet. Instead, he had another better idea. He crouched low to the ground and placed his hand on it, mixing the Phazon and Chaos energies. He then let loose a modified Chaos Blast that would shoot down all of the hallways, contained within them. The Chaos energies would take out many of the traps, and the ones that were not taken out would now be marked with Blue Phazon, all to easy for him to track. Among the traps that were not taken out was the one directly in front of them. As Yusuru had said, they would shoot out arrows, but it was worse then that. "Well, this is annoying. A weapons system that will destroy anyone and turn them into charred remains, and with a recharge tine of five seconds after each blast. I can't just leave that alone." Shadow rose to his feet and slowly brought his arms upwards until the were hoizontal to the ground with the palms of his hands facing the ground as well. They flashed first blue, then darkeneed to black, at the same time causing the Phazon energy embedded in the weapons system as well as the arrow traps, disintegrating them into useless slag. "It is not safe to proceed. However, do not touch the walls. If you do, I will not be held responsible if even a trace amount of Black Phazon induces Phazon madness." Shadow Zero walked forward in the now clear hallway, keeping an eye out for any flashes of blue that only he could see. This is going to be rather annoying.

[Dranzer]

After hearing Yurusu,Zeru said "Ok that all I need to know."After that he pushed everyone on Team B into a circle and said "Good luck on your mishion Team A."With that he teleported Derek,Yurusu,Fusion,Bando and Tsuki into the room where Kisune was.The room was gigantic and had a whole in one of the walls that gave a view of everything outside the base."Well you've gotten yourself quite the lux."He said stairing at KIsune."Now the fun begins.Hope you enjoyed your trip to space."
