Out of nowhere a small boy appeared through a spacial rift in the air next to the fighters. He looked around and noted the two people fighting and decided to watch. He however his his presence by supressing his reiatsu, but these being didn't look like shinigami, hollow, quincy or even bount. He still hid it knowing this and didn't care to reveal himself just yet. 'I will fight them, only if they intend to fight me,' he thought.

Fusion was riding his Yoshi on a journey to the nearest town. "I wonder if I can find any clues on Dennis' killer while I'm there." he spoke aloud. His Yoshi merely uttered some gibberish until Fusion squeezed his legs to make it stop running. He stepped off the Yoshi and went towards the noises he was hearing. Silently, he noticed two beings fighting one another, one being a cross between a human and bat, the other a teenager clad in black. Huh. Don't wanna get caught up in this. He silently brought over his Yoshi and fed him some fruit for a temporary break to watch the fight.

Sven looked over as he saw a strange creature and a boy arrive near the field, but almost on the other side of it. From where he was standing, it was hard to see him though he still knew because of the height difference from the fighters. 'I see another strange being has shown himself. This coud prove to be troublesome or fun. Maybe I should turn their attention to me and show them how I am. Though by doing this I'd have shown myself to this strange world. I'll wait and see what their reactions to everything is before I make my move,' he thought.

"This is a little thing I like to call: "The Stop Hitting Yourself" technique. On second thought, the "Puppetmaster" technique is probably better..Oh well," he said, controlling the air in Shadows body to cause him to punch himelf in the face. "Stop hitting yourself."

Yakunan was raising them to become an army to create the world. As the corpses were failing, Yakunan created a clone of Peter Parker and put in Bruce Banner's DNA as well. He was the first successfully created one, but they forgot to put a mind restraint, and he escaped. He tried living as a normal person, but was constantly rejected from places because of his wings. He decided to start teaching himself, and surpassed many people of his age group. He became a crime fighter, and became popular around his residential area. He also made many friends and even fell in love with somebody. However, Yakunan discovered his location, and destroyed his whole city, killing almost all of it's people. Derek was defeated by Yakunan, and Derek swore to avenge the people that were killed.

 

Derek travelled around the world, looking for ways to increase his powers. He discovered that he had his burning touch, and also discovered his Spider and Hulk powers. While he was protecting a city from attack, his wings were almost completely burned off. A scientist in the area offered to fix them. That scientist did give him steel wings, but also temporarily took control of his mind. Derek did break free and the scientist got arrested. Afterwards, he died his hair blonde, since he didn't want people to immediately recognize him.

 

After Derek began to renew his life, Yakunan conquered his city, and Derek was forced into exile. When Derek refused to leave, he was ordered to be executed right there. However, The Knight of the Wind appeared and defeated Yakunan's army, freeing the city. Yakunan appeared in the city, and the whole place was evacuated. Derek asked why they couldn't fight Yakunan, and The Knight of the Wind said, "We can't stop him. He has gained too much power for us to ever surpass him. You can't stop him, and I can't stop him. Even though his army is easy to defeat, his powers surpass all of his subordinates combined." Then, The Knight introduced himself as Cortez, and told him that he was organizing a team. He offered Derek a position, which he took. Derek then asked why Cortez was there. He said, "I'll tell you once this team is complete."

 

Cortez trained Derek for six months, and Derek managed to become almost as powerful as him. Cortez gave Derek a pendulum and a world map. He said, "When the pendulum glows, meet me at Avalon." With that, Cortez dashed off. Derek is now protecting justice and fighting crime in Jump City, but often goes to other places for interest.

(okay, fine then. If you get to g mod using puppet master, then I get to g mod using Chaos Control!)

 

Shadow Zero quickly switches to his humanoid form, causing there to be a temporary displacement of the puppet master technique due to the places in his body where there was air changing locations, mostly due to the difference in height. He then instantly switches back to Shadow Form and uses a Chaos Warp to get behind Donovyn again. He then forms an orb of red energy and drives it into Donovyns back and spine, allowing it to explode with him getting blasted back by it, and leaving Donovyn with a giant hole in his back and a chunk of his spine missing. "Take that, 'lord'." His opponent safely dispatched, Shadow Zero walks off, hoping to avoid another fight.

Name: Tenkai Kurayami

Aliases: The Sneaking Shadow

Age: 18

Tenkai Kurayami tends to shut out the happiness in the world. He hates the goodness within people and aspires to crush "The Spring Time of Youth". Tenkai can often be found contemplating over the faults within life, how people "foolishly dictate their life to nothing", and what he would do once all he despised were gone. Kurayami never really respected any of his opponents, as he is often seen looking down on them and telling them about their faults. He is still yet to meet an opponent who could break through the shell around his "heart", and get Tenkai to look towards the positive side of things.

[spoiler=Shadow Control]

This allows Tenkai to control the shadows given off by objects such as trees, people, rocks, ect. Using this he can manipulate them to grab opponents, form into an energy ball in his hand, create armor and shields to protect himself, create energy attacks, and collect them at his feet to enhance his jumping and running.

 

[spoiler=Shadow Infusion]

Using his Shadow Powers, Tenkai can infuse his sword and body with shadows. When his sword is infused, its blade turns into a wavy line of black flames, being able to burn and cut people at the same time. When he infuses his fists and feet with shadows, Tenkai's melee attacks increase in power. He can also extend his attacks to greater distances, making a punch send out shadows that can carry on for multiple yards.

 

[spoiler=The Curse Seal of Heaven]

Tenkai can use the Curse Mark to enhance his Shadow Powers, as some of his techniques require him to activate the First Stage. The darkness contained withing the Mark enables him to gather shadows from farther away However, due to the improper way of obtaining this seal, he can only sustain it for a short amount of time. The Second Stage of his seal is unuseable unless he is put under extreme conditions, and it can only be activated for very little time. After using this ability, Tenkai becomes very drained and expierence pain. The few times he has entered Stage 2 he was unable to use his Shadow Powers for many days afterward.

Tenkai Kurayami grew up in a poor town, with his parents having no jobs. At the age of 7, Tenkai was forced to work for low pay at the local farms to support his family. When he became 13, he met a kid his age that also went through tough times and had to work to help his family survive. As time went on Tenkai and this kid became friends, often pulling whatever money they had together to buy sweets that they would share after a long day's work of labor and getting yelled at for planting something wrong. One morning the kid failed to come to work on time, and Tenkai was forced to watch as his best friend was beaten by the leaders of their planting group. Unable to stand it anymore, the 13 year old rushed in and punched one of the leaders, only to have him turn around and start pounding him. Soon the men got bored of his friend, and came over for Tenkai (who had the nerve to stand up to them!). Punched, kicked, and cut into a bloody figure, the young boy was thrown onto the groud as the first man who had attacked him drew a sword. Suddenly, Tenkai's arm began to rise and point towards the long shadow of a tree nearby. The shadow of the tree disappeared, reforming in mid air and flew at the man, slicing through a vein in his hand. Blood gushed out as the leader dropped his sword and screamed in agony, his eyes filling with rage and hate. Before he could react though, Tenkai's arm had pointed at the shadows of various plants that were next to him. Razor sharp shadows cut through the man, killing him. The other leaders, now terrified, ran away screaming (as if the never saw a kid control shadows!). Kurayami got to his knees and painfully crawled over to his friend, who was in a pool of red. "Wake up! WAKE UP!" the boy screamed as he shook his lifeless friend, who would never wake up. Tears pouring out of his eyes, Tenkai left the dead body and limped to the main building, finding rough bandages to wrap his wounds. By now he looked like a mummy, only one arm and his left eye being revealed. Weeks passed, and by now he was 14. His father, an ex-farm leader, had passed away from malnutrition, same with his mother. All that was left was his sister, who soon too passed away. So here Tenkai is: a under fed teen with no family and a strange power. When he became healthy again, Tenkai learned to control his Shadow Powers, often using them to rob the more fortunate to feed himself. As time went on, he began losing the sight of happiness, seeing faults in people he hadn't noticed before. The solidarity of his life gave him the shell around his heart, opening him up to the world of hatefulness. When he turned 15, Tenkai left his town and wandered the world, sneaking up on unsuspecting travelers and executing them with his shadows. The technique he used to sneak up on his victims gave him the nickname of "The Sneaking Shadow". One day he came upon a cave, and seeing he had a lack of shelter, he decided to stay the night. In the cave, Tenkai found a scroll that contained a strange seal and the phrase "The Seal of Darkness". Thinking of his powers, Tenkai got the idea the seal could strengthen him. Placing the seal on his chest, Tenkai suddenly felt energy seep into him and collect at the base of his neck. Pain seared into his body, crippling him for the next few minutes before he passed out. When he awoke, he found a tatoo of 3 tomoe on his neck, which he found he could spread throughout his body to enhance his abilities. He carelessly used this however, resulting in severe pain which he learned to endure. He traveled even more now, training and gaining the ability of Shadow Infusion, learning to use the Curse Seal of Heaven wisely. Now, he is 18 and still wanders, still training to control his abilities, and often cringing every time he heres about "The Spring Time of Youth"

(Actually, Shadow, I was hoping you'd use the chaos warp. Wouldn't be fun if the Stop Hitting Yourself technique ended it. Isn't "Chaos Warp" actually called "Chaos Control"? I've played "Shadow the Hedgehog" and "Sonic Heroes" and from what I remember about the shows, mostly from "Sonic X", they use "Chaos Control" not "Chaos Warp." We need an Ooc thread, this counts as a post...)

It was easy to disperse that." After a short sigh, he walked off. "Well, maybe I'll hold off on the Stop Hitting Yourself technique net time. Still don't know why he bothered using an attack that relies on compressing the air to defeat me, knowing I can control the air. Well, no point in worrying about it now." He walked off

Ah well, at least no one was killed. Fusion stood up and mounted his Yoshi. I better leave so I can get to town before sunset. I heard that Karamana Town has a nice plethora of ladies... Fusion giggled under his breath in a creepy manner as he and Yoshi rode off in the sunset. "Long live the springtime of youth!" Fusion said as he pumped his fist in the air.

IC: Cortez watched the black hedgehog walk away from the battle. He looked back at the hedgehog's opponent, and saw him stand back up. I guess he doesn't really understand the way Chaos Control works. If he wanted to create an explosion, he would have to try to distort space and time to a point that four Chaos Emeralds are necessary. The most it can do with one is create a dimensional rift. Cortez heard somebody scream, "Long live the springtime of youth!" in the distance. He looked, and saw Fusion mounted on a Yoshi. He's mounting on Yoshi? That is soooo cheating. Cortez was about to dash to Fusion and launch a Chaos Blast, but he heard somebody call his name. He looked behind him to see Derek Grant. "Yo. Are you about to charge to that goofball talking about the springtime of youth?"

"That's exactly what I'm going to do, Derek. Just FYI, that's Fusion."

"Ah. I remember you telling me about him. I need training. Can I do the honors?"

"Yeah... sure. Just don't kill yourself."

Cortez dashed off into the horizon, while Derek swooped down and nailed Fusion on the back.

Sven watched as one opponent disappeared and the other one remained. "Well that sure was a boring fight," he said to himself. He watched the fighter leave and watched as the guy on the Yoshi began yelling out. "Well I look like a youth, but I'm really older then them all combined. I know this for a fact," he said to himself, "Maybe I should go see how strong he is. As well as the other two who just showed up as well." He looked at the other two across the way and decided to make an appearance. In a burst of sonido he appeared near Cortez, Derek and Fusion. The moment he showed up, a large burst of dust rose off the ground, showing he had appeared. "It seems your having fun by yourselves. However I wish to have some fun myself," he began, "Let's see what you guys can do against me." If one were to see this sight from a distance, it seemed a small boy with a hole in his body was taking on 3 opponents at once. Though he had two swords at his side, it didn't seem like he was insinuating he would use them.

OOC: Ninjew, Cortez isn't there anymore... he ran off.

 

IC: Derek looked at the young boy. Hm... that isn't right. He's a boy with a hole in his body holding two swords in a very not offensive way... what is wrong with this situation? Derek landed on the ground and began to concentrate. He also channeled his old power into the ground, gathering strength. Even though he's a kid, in that condition, he probably isn't actually a kid. He's more like a spirit in a corpse that is still alive and deadly. He studied the grains of dust, and waited for somebody to make move.

Fusion went flying into the dirt. "Who the hell-" he said under his breath when he turned around to see a man with wings. "And just who the hell are-" he stopped as a boy introduced himself with 2 swords at each side of his hilt. This guy...I sense bloodlust. I've never felt it to the extent where the tension in the air is palpable. He looked to the winged man and analyzed that he was readying for a fight. "Look you two, as much as I'd love to kill each other, I have a previous engagement to attend to." Fusion took out a chili pepper and fed it to his Yoshi who turned from green to orange and sped off in the distance before the two strangers could catch up. And just in case. Fusion turned to Chisoku Fusion, lifted his Yoshi and was gone without a trace indicating he was there.

IC: Derek looked to see Fusion running away. Man, that guy's a coward. I wonder what he was talking about. Ah well. He looked back at the young boy, who barely moved. He's definitely waiting for me to attack. If I charge first, I might be at a disadvantage. In that case... Derek threw his left hand at the ground. As soon as it made contact, the ground in front of his hand turned into a gigantic fissure, which was heading straight towards the man with the swords.

 

Cortez felt his right ear twitch as he was running. He looked over to see Fusion carrying Yoshi in Chisoku mode. Cortez started running right next to Fusion. "I see you've finally found the heart to walk instead of getting Yoshi to do it for you, Fusion."
