Shadow Zero saw what Cortez was doing and shook with rage. That bastard! How DARE he defile the sacred home of my ancestors!!! Shadow Zeros rage fueled his Chaos Dark mode, making him even stronger and faster, acting as though it was the flame of wrath. In the very moment Shadow Zero was about to be hit he slashed at Cortez's arm with the blade of energy that was emanting from the hilt of his Burai Blade as the fragments of the Burai Blade itself rained down on Cortez, moving even faster then before. "You bastard! How dare you defile the sacred grounds of my ancestors! You're going to pay...pay with your life for what you've done!!!"

Cortez took the impact of the energy blade, but managed to call up a magma pillar that blocked the parts of the Burai Blade. He used alchemy to solidify the pillar, so the particles couldn't escape. "I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings? I don't know, see. I haven't had an actual home since forever." Cortez said, holding onto his arm. That hurt, but I can deal with it. Although he has gotten a lot faster and stronger. I might have to take it to the next level He suddenly felt a spark in his mind. Then another. He felt Fusion and everybody else's wishes of him winning. He also felt Shadow's desire of killing him. "And you can't make me pay with my life. Although, I still owe you 50 rings, if your up for it after we settle this argument." Cortez held Zugaikotsu forward. "Now then, where were we?" He channeled the Cyan Ring as well as the White Ring, and his flame became more intense. He also had a dramatic increase in speed and a slight increase in strength. He unleashed the lightning bolt at Shadow. Just as that happened, he dropped Zugaikotsu, and made sure it was picked up by the magma so Shadow couldn't get it. He moved faster than the lightning bolt and aimed a kick at Shadow's back. His current speed made him able to surpass or match any of Shadow's speeds. "As I was saying, your ancestors wouldn't mind this makeover. It was much more beautiful before they became idiots and made the Gems of the Void."

[Shadow Zero]

"They're called Lights of Chaos!" Shadow Zero yelled as he blocked the kick aimed at his head with his forearm. Saying that the Lights of Chaos were the cause of my clans downfall. No, it was the greed of one man that caused this to happen! As Shadow Zero's rage increased, he became stronger and faster once more, aiming a punch directly at Cortez's face, remembering what Ranmyaku Shadou had said about how Emperor Ix had once been a good and kind man, but how he had been driven to the point of insanity by his insistence on creating the Lights of Chaos, even though Ranmyaku himself had been willing to abandon the project for the sake of avoiding any possible catastrophes that would crop up as a result of searching for the missing material that was needed to complete them.

"Ix was never a good person." Cortez said. He absorbed the Red Ring, which increased his control over fire and magma and physical strength, and he blocked Shadow's attacks with his bare hands. The pain seemed to have died away. I guess this happens as I increase the levels of my Darkspines mode... "Ix was never good and kind. He always had a blackened heart from the time he was born. He managed to mask that darkness until he discovered the Void." He held tightly onto Shadow Zero's arm. "And just to make it clear, I can read the basic trains of your thoughts with my power. Your desires and some basic trails of your thoughts can be picked up by me now. And anyway..." Cortez dashed behind Shadow and grabbed him in an arm lock. He started charging an Aura Bubble. "... you have know idea who my father is. You'll have trouble dealing with a Demigod." Cortez released the Aura Bubble onto Shadow. It had the same effects of a full powered Chaos Blast. Simultaneously, he added Fire and Magma and Wind elements to the blast. The walls of the ruins began collapsing from the force. The only place that was untouched was the chamber containing the Six other Avatars along with Fusion and Go.

[Daybreak]

Pain was so shocked that there was someone who felt so close to hiim. Besides Konan there was really noone who acted this way towards him. It felt good inside his heart which he thought had dried up a long time ago when he realized what pain really meant. He smiled with all his heart at Bando and said "Sure but you must learn one jutsu before you can come with me on my journeys." The next day they were at the same place where the previous battle had taken place and he yelled,"Shinra Tensei!!!"(Almighty Push). Suddenly the thing that was in front of his hands, a nearby tree was ripped from the ground and blown a mile away. "Learn this jutsu and you can come with me."

[spoiler=Big Fight]Azera made the first move, putting his hands together and causing his energy to increase. A small ring formed around his body on the ground, and swirled as if something was happening. Suddenly his body grew in size as he went down on all fours. The armor he wore also expanded with his body. His legs and arms became as large a tree trunk while his fingers and toes became claws with razor sharp talons. A tail formed off the bottom of his spine and grew to a length of 5 feet. His head shaped into a dragon's head, with the armor plating it too. Then all the armor sunk into his skin, binding together to form scales. His shoulder blades soon popped out of his back and grew in length to his sides, creating wings. The total length was 15 feet across. Though his body was large, it was lean with only muscle making him strong and fast. A small flame could be seen coming out of his mouth, as well as around his arms and legs and end of his tail. "This is my Dragon Form. The sole reason I am named "The Dragon"," he said.

 

Kisune didn't look phased and neither did Sven. They both knew what a dragon looked like, so his version was just a little different like Sven's. Kisune had actually only gone into his Dragon form once before and he did it in front of his village. That was why he got the name. However because of its strength he was always too keen to use it. However since this was a test of power, it was needed. Though it never caused himself harm, he was always uncontrollable in it. They both looked at him now and waited for him to change. He let out a sigh and placed his hands together. The same thing happened like Azera, but a dark red aura shown instead. "You know, I don't know what will happen after I change, so just be ready," he said. They both seemed unphased by these words and so Kisune continued. Suddenly the sky darkened and lightning appeared. Wind blew harshly across the area and ever water started forming in midair out of the small particles that were there. Flames from Azera could be seen to be attracted to Kisune as was the other elements. Small spheres of each element formed around him, circling him.

 

Then in a bright flash all the elements stuck to him and began forming scales. Kisune was on the ground, on all fours as his body started growing and changing. Tails of energy began shooting out and spiraling around. Wings shot out of his back, being just bones until the elements that had hit his body earlier covered it. Then a second pair of appendages formed, giving him 6 limbs and a pair of wings. The tails soon combined into a single tail and Kisune's head changed into a dragon. All the raw elements combined and formed scales on his body. Then his body increased in size, becoming as large as Azera, but looking more toned and muscled. His arms, legs and extra arms became large and clawed. The energy tail solidified and became scaled as well. Kisune stood up, on all 6 legs and looked at the other two draconic men. His eyes were red and he let out a blood curtling roar. His speed and strength were magnified by a large amount while in this form. Sven wondered if he would need to go into his other stage, but deemed this would be enough.

 

"Now we shall begin," Sven said. Kisune was the first to go as he disappeared from site. His speed was tremendous, even for his large size. Sven was just barely able to keep up, watching Kisune go behind Azera and prepare a strike. Azera's eyes could not keep up, but his powers just barely did. A shield of flames shot up as Kisune struck downwards, but they did not stop him. A small lining of water on his arms, cut through the fire and allowed the strike to land on the scale armor of Azera. A small mark was left from the toughness of the scales, but it was the first hit. Kisune disappeared again, this time above Sven. Sven launched from the ground into Kisune, hitting his stomach. He took Kisune into the sky where Azera took off after them. He was clearly the one outmatched, but if he timed it right, he could land hits and make them count. Kisune clawed at Sven's armor while Sven gripped into Kisune's scales and fired off a cero. Each released the other when the hits landed. They hovered staring at each other, the damage minor to each other based on the degree of defense they each had. Sven now knew this fight would be on a totally different scale then the ones before. A cero directly to the body would have cause more then just a minor scratch on anyone, even a normal dragon.

 

Kisune charged again and Sven raised his arms and a large nearly invisible wall appeared. "Bakudo 81, Danku," Sven said aloud. Kisune charged right into it, hitting it with full force and cracked it. Slightly stunned but still fully aware, Kisune jabbed into the wall with 3 appendages. The wall crumbled and disappeared, but Sven had begun charging a Hado as he watched Kisune break through. "Hado 63, Raikoho," he said. A large yellow wave of energy shot out into Kisune. Kisune roared and released a wave of wind into it. The powers collided and exploded, showing of equal strength. However Kisune flew through it at Sven and Sven blocked with his wings. The 6 appendages slammed into the wings, cracking them slightly from the hit. Sven gathered energy in his claws and opened his wings, causing Kisune's appendages to make a clear shot of his stomach. A black cero shot out into Kisune's stomach, but Kisune released lightning from his mouth this time with a different sounding roar. The lightning struck Sven in the right shoulder, breaking through his armor.

 

Kisune had to release because of the strength of the cero, leaving a small hole in his armor, but the elements covered it up. It just showed Sven that the stronger the attack, the more damage it actually would do to that armor. This was different to his armor because only the more precise attacks would work, much like lightning or physical attacks. This was shown in his right shoulder as the armor was missing, but didn't heal over. It would seem as if Kisune was the stronger one at the moment, but that cero did more then just show the strength of the armor, it did weaken Kisune a good amount. He could only take a few more of those and then he'd have to return to his human self. Though he had ways of getting the form back if needed. Suddenly both Sven and Kisune were enveloped in flames. It was Azera's doing as he was hovering below them both setting up the attack. He had formed flames on each of their backs and when the time was right he'd cover them both in it. Kisune was highly unaffected as the flames disappeared and stream rolled off him. The water from the elements in his scales stopped the flames from causing any damage. Even the flames in the scales would have probably been helped by it, but he wasn't going to take a chance. Sven on the other hand was only slightly injured, showing only a small burn mark on his hierro where his armor wasn't. The flames soon too disappeared as he absorbed them through his armor. Sven regained some energy from it, but not really any of importance.

 

They both looked at Azera and turned their attention onto him. He knew he would be in trouble if he didn't do anything so he went after Kisune. Flames encircled Azera as he flew, but Kisune only disappeared as he got to him for a strike. In a massive hit, Azera was sent flying into the ground causing dust and dirt to be sent everywhere. A crater formed from the hit as well, showing Kisune's strength. "You are outmatched. You may look and act like a dragon, but to us you are weak," Sven said. Azera lay there in slight pain and discomfort, but he just watched as the two went at it.

 

Kisune and Sven charged at each other. Clashing and hitting each other’s armor, weakening by the minute. Flames collided in midair as each launched their own attack. When the explosion happened from the combined forces, they charged and collided with each other. Their speed was tremendous and they both were taking a toll on each other. After what seemed like hours of mindless attacking, they both were hovering facing each other. Kisune looked like there wasn’t a scratch on him, but in reality he was nearing his limit. Sven’s armor was almost completely broken, though he still hadn’t gone into Segunda Etapa.

 

“You should surrender now before I get stronger,” Sven said. Kisune gave a smirk and launched a lightning attack into Sven. Sven managed a dodge by flying up with his almost useless wings, though he still took damage to his legs. “Why would I need to stop when I’m so close to winning,” Kisune said. Sven launched a bala and struck Kisune in the back. Again his scales returning making it seem like no damage was taken. “Because,” Sven began, “I have another level to go into. But I do not wish to unveil it to you. For it would kill you and even the ground we are over.” Kisune looked a bit shocked and realized that he could not even go past where he was at for now.

 

Then out of nowhere, Kisune was struck by a blade on both sides of his torso. Sven was still in his spot seemingly watching what was going on. Azera had changed back into his normal form and had struck him with his demonic blades. “I am not done yet,” he said. “Coward,” yelled Kisune. They both fell to the ground as Kisune changed into his normal human form. It could be noted that there were bloody marks on his clothes from where he took the blades not to mention the bruising from the attacks with Sven. Sven hovered down and stared at them both.

 

“Do you both concede to me? If you do, I’ll let you live,” Sven said. Kisune stood up shakily and drew out a kunai. “I won’t stop just because you say you’re stronger,” Kisune said. Just as he was about to strike, Azera pushed him out of the way and onto the ground. Azera charged with his demonic blades and struck into Sven’s armor that still remained. It chipped them, but did no true damage. Flames spewed off the blades and covered Sven. Sven’s hierro took damage as the flames hit, but then the flames were absorbed into Sven who gained some more energy. Then in a large backhand, Azera flew off and his blades were left by Sven’s feet.

 

 

“You have both proven your worth,” Sven began, “I will let you both live if you both join and follow me until death becomes of you.” Kisune rose up and went to a knee. “Only if you can give me more power,” Kisune said. Sven nodded and Kisune stood, still injured. Azera got up and ran over, but Sven struck him into the ground. “A king I am could never serve. But I can accompany you on your quest,” Azera said realizing he wasn’t as strong as he thought. Sven nodded again and Azera stood up. “Now it is time for the Dragon Lords to take this world for our own,” Sven said stating the name of their now made Group.

 

Sven returned to his normal form, showing small burns where his hierro took damage. He began walking away and the two followed him. After some time they were in the middle of nowhere, literally. Sven placed his hand on the ground and the ground broke open for a vast area. “This is where we make our base. It will be hidden underground and no it will never be found. Now make it, I will also help,” Sven said. Kisune took out a scroll and opened it, making hand signs. Azera opened a portal to hell and demons poured into the world and began building the base. Sven disappeared only for second before appearing back with a mountain. He crushed the mountain and gave the demons rocks to build the base with. Kisune’s scroll added a protective layer around the area, making seem like nothing was there.

 

Soon enough the base was assembled and the protection was the strongest ever. There were even some special properties from Kisune’s Sharingan that allowed it to not be affected by anything dealing with space, dimensional properties or even the most basic of invasion abilities. The only possible way would be to get in through the front door that was also sealed to only allow the group entry. It was very strong indeed. “Now we make our presence be known to the world,” Sven said.

As Tenkai's eyes slowly opened to unhappily greet the new day, he noticed with satisfaction there were no inturders to suprise him today. After eating a meager breakfeast of bread and some... purple stuff he found in a jar, he strapped his katana to his back and walked out the door. Outside of his house lay the normal brand of beggars, a pitifull sight.

"Hmph, don't want any of you low lifes running into my house while I'm away... Shadow Technique: Full Palm Seal!" Tenkai placed his hand on the doorway to his house, and shadows from the surrounding area began to form a barrier around his house. Now, sure that no one would touch his things, Tenkai slid some shadows underneath his feet, making a table top like creation, and manipulated the shadows to carry him into the sky. Now flying away from his village, he began to track his way back to Chiiki Town, where he would find help in his quest. A few hours passed, and at last Tenkai reached his destination: a decent sized town whose buildings were made entirely of stone. The lack of trees in the town provided less shade, but anyone could find sanctuary in the middle of the town, where the park was located. In the park were the only trees and grass the town boasted inside its borders. Tenkai began to lower himself, scanning the area for a tavern of sorts. At last he spotted it, and propelled himself straight at it, halting to a stop only at the entrance. Shadows dispersed, he walked into the tavern, looking around to find a particular person among the local drunks. At last, he spotted his man, a fellow sitting at the bar, just getting up from a punch delivered to him by the girl he had hit on. Walking over to the guy, Tenkai sat down next to him, nudging him on the arm.

"Remember me, Yurusu? I'm the guy who put that curse on you... hehehe."

Yurusu was stunned briefly, but quickly came to his senses. Sliding away the glass of beer he had just been about to jug, he turned to Tenkai.

"Hey Tenkai KURAYAMI. WHAT'S A B-RANK VILL-" Yurusu was cut off by the shadow shoved into his mouth, which Tenkai willed out after a few seconds.

"Shut up Yurusu. You know I could take on this whole town... I'm here on some business," Tenkai said as he placed a bag of gold coins on the bar counter, "How would you like to help me find someone in return for this?"

"Pfft, you honestly expect me to believe you? The guy who tried to kill me a few years ago? Yeah right, lie I'd ever help you..." Yurusu sneered, yet his eyes never left the bag. Tenkai flicked his hand up, and instantly a spear made of shadows reached up to Yurusu's chin, daring him to try anything.

"I'm not interested in back stories, what I'm interested in is finding Fusion X. Denver and ending his life... now, I know you have some weird ability that allows you to find people. So I've prepared a descrip-" Tenkai said but was cut off.

"Fusion X. Denver? I know the guy. Could probably find his low life scum aura in a snap!"

"What are you talking about? Fusion's a nice guy who talks about the Spring Time of Youth!"

"Not according to this bingo book Tenkai..." Tenkai took the bingo book, flipping through the pages until he found Fusion X. Denver, a B-rank villian. He threw the book aside in an instant.

"Bull. Now, the REAL Fusion is nice, fights for the right reasons, fought me a while ago, talks about the Spring Time of Youth, and rides a dinosaur... chicken... turtle... thing!"

"Hmph, if you say so Tenkai. All I can say is that gold best be real..." Yurusu and Tenkai walked outside, and the shinigami placed his hands togather and shut his eyes. After a second or two, he turned to Tenkai, a look of happiness on his face.

"I've got him. Though... there is one problem though..."

"What's that? Don't tell me he's already dead!"

"No, Fusion's just... traveling with another person... and he seems to be quite formidable himself... Plus, there are some others in the same general area too." Yurusu mumbled as Tenkai pulled out another sack of gold coins.

"All right, the others are of no concern to me. I just care about Fusion and his pal. This bundle of money now raises your job from tracking Fusion, to taking care of his friend while I take care of the real target..."

[Fusion X. Denver]

Fusion sneezed suddenly and wiped his nose with worry. Something...doesn't feel right. Why do I feel as though something terrible will happen? He looked onto the fight looming before his eyes. His friend Cortez was fighting to such extremes that the place around them collapsed. Everyone was shocked at first, but realized they were safe when the magical bubble prevented their destruction. "Go...did Cortez say he was a demigod or something?" Go nodded and Fusion continued thinking. What the hell happened to cause this? Is Cortez just spewing bull crap again, or is he really the son of a God? Come to think of it, I don't know anything about his past at all. Fusion looked at his opponent and skimmed through his bingo book to see if there was an entry for him. He was the hedgehog that fought Donovyn. I can't remember his name though. It doesn't seem like he's in here, so he must not be a criminal. Fusion then flipped to the publication page. Then again, this book is 3 years old. I should have grabbed a more current copy. "Go, are you feeling any better yet?" Go stood up and said, "Getting there. You think your friend will lose?" Fusion continued to watch. "I don't know anymore."

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"He" was watching from the hills, all around, he could feel great powers, and of course "He" wanted them for his own. "He" had no care or fear of who they were, who they claimed to be, or what they claimed to be, in the end he would control them all, under his power. Through the eye and senses of the boy "He" could feel them, and every breath "He" took was to understand them, breathing in the color, the feel, the properties of their aura, "He" would make himself understand them, "He" would learn everything he needed, but no matter what he still had that sense of death looming over his senses, "He" didn't want to wait until all the knowledge was his, and there was only so much he could learn from aura itself .

 

Josep's body began to tremble with anticipation, he didn't want this to happen, but the smell of blood and aura kept afflicting him, and had him wincing, closing his eyes every few seconds due to the spiking pain in his head, He had felt this before, numerous times before, and they never meant anything good.

 

"I won't.....I need to investigate these people myself.....I can't allow him to try...." deep in his psyche he also felt a huge mass of powers, three of them, and while he couldn't tell why he felt them more prominently, from "His" gathered data, he could think only of the words, "Dragon" and....an unknown word that resonated with him. He could hear "His" Voice again, it spoke to him in a mocking tone. "It's a name....you can't use that as justification for attacking them......though they do have an aura about them.....I won't use my title to fight them like that....and besides...it would be three against one....NO I do not count you!"

 

His Body stopped in it's tracks, and his head began to pulse. "crap......He's gonna take today......have to get away from here....too many people....."

[El Make]

"You expect me to team up with you Tenkai? Were you dropped on the head?" Yurusu exclaimed. He liked the offer of money, but was disgusted by the idea of fighting alongside Tenkai.

"Please, you can't resist the gold. Plus, you'd be earning a bonus reward: his friend. You and I both know those underground ganga like to get their hands on bodies to expiriment with... so look at it like your on a bounty hunt."

"When you put it that way... sure. So, how od you plan on getting us to Fusion and nameless friend?" Yurusu taunted. Tenkai's answer was to snap his fingers, and shadows collected beneath them, forming a standing platform. The Sneaking Shadow asked Yurusu for directions, and pointed off into the distance where his partner had said. The two rose high into the air, then jetisoned off into the horizon.

"So," Tenkai said over the wind, "Any clues on what the others with Fusion are?"

"Well, his friend seems... weird... almost like he's part spide. Weird right? Then another guy near them has some power in his muscles... or is he just whacked? I don't know, but there are two others fighting, both using high amounts of power..."

"So in other words, we only have to worry about Fusion, nameless friend, and whacked man. I have an idea. You have to get decent distance between you and Fusion's 'group', and make sure his friend see's you. Hopefully he'll run off to fight you, and when that happens, I'll intercept Fusion!"

"What about the other guy? He seems pretty powerful..."

"I don't know for know. I just might have to fight both. But lets get there FAST!" Tenkai threw both of his arms back, and the shadow "air plane" sped off, closing in on Fusion's area.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

The ground was beginning to shake, and his vision blurred, a wave of heat exuded from Josep's body as he fumbled walking about. Opening his eyes felt like lifting the shutter gates of hell. "Crap....I have no choice....I'll...just have to hope I'll be the one to open my eyes when this is over"

 

For a second he stopped worrying about everything as his body ceased functioning, his pulse stopped, his breathing came to a halt, and he just couldn't open his eyes for anything in the world. In his own vision things were getting darker, his brain stopped sending messages to his eyes, and every second things faded more and more into obscurity, the color in his own eyes had dulled from a Golden Brown color, to a darkened Black. Sounds became more faint, even the sound of his own sword clashing against his belt felt as if it were miles away.

 

Time seemed to stop, but only momentarily until Blood began moving again in Josep's body, his skin turned a slightly darker color from the blood flow and as his Brain was beginning to receive Oxygen again, preemptive blasts of aura charred the ground he stood on, His lungs took deep breaths, and every exhale was like a flamethrower had fired towards the air. Through Muscle memory they defined themselves differently to accommodate the different move sets. His were more defined in comparison and had incredible circulation, each pump of blood from what he called a heart brought another powerful wave of energy through his body. This was what he liked to call, a warm up.

 

The process seemed like forever to those that lived through it, every step agonizing only to Josep's unconscious. But it seemed to only take a second in the real world. In one instant Josep had vanished and had become another person, one who wasn't afraid to begin a counterattack against those that were still lurking around in this territory, he looked up towards the sky and claimed it his with a mighty roar, a bolt of lightning crashed down, before hitting the ground near him it seemed to twist and corrupt by his own aura, the light it reflected no longer white as it took a sinister dark color, the powerful clap of thunder came soon afterward.

 

Now Josep was gone, temporarily, but this was good enough for him, The Dark Lord of the Enigma, Jazeth Sai de Drago now stood, and he had already chosen a target, the ones in closest proximity to himself, they seemed to be carrying someone along with themselves, injured? perhaps, dead? soon enough........

 

"Well, Now it finally seems I can do something for a change.....this should be fun, I do hope they don't bore me....." Rearranging the winds near him he was slowly lifted off of his feet as he directed them to take him towards their direction as quickly as possible, as he sped along the storm seemed to follow him, no matter what, a continually ominous sign.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow Zero was knocked away by the force of Cortez's attack, although he was able to block most of the damage by countering with a continuous burst of his own short range Chaos Blast which he used to double as a shield. As he came to a stop in the air upon Cortez's attack finishing, he turned around and yelled "Enough!" In that moment, the three Lights of Chaos that he had obtained were separated from him and spun around him at an immensely fast paced rate. "I've had it with this pointless fighting. If you would have let me leave in the first place none of this would have happened. Now you leave me no choice but to burst your bubble. Literally." As Shadow Zero said this, he motioned towards the aura bubble that was surrounding the entirety of of the Ranmyaku Temple.

 

As the Lights of Chaos began to spin even faster, Shadow Zero entered into his super form, but the Lights of Chaos were still there! He had gone into his Super Form without the use of the Lights of Chaos, and now they span even faster then before, glowing even brighter then normal, and brighter still, until their light seemed just blinding. Then, one of them disappeared and Shadow Zeros quills grew longer until they would have been mere inches from touching the ground if he had been standing on it instead of hovering in the air like he was doing at the moment. Then another one disappeared and he turned silver instead of a bright yellow. Finally, in an explosion of light, He turned a bright gold in color, his quills now standing straight up and tilted towards the back.

 

"You wanted to see my true power, well you've got it. This is me at 10% of my full power." Shadow Zero clenched his hands into fists and raised his lower arms so that they were almost horizontal to the ground with his upper arms being perfectly vertical. not even needing to concentrate, Shadow Zero caused a mass of chaotic energies to surround his fists forming a sphere and being the opposite color of the aura bubble that Cortez had used to seal everyone into the Ranmyaku Temple. He then unleashed the energy that had quickly built up in the form of what seemed to be a Chaos Blast. However, it didn't do any damage to anyone or anything, and merely passed through the walls of the temple and the bodies of those inhabiting it. It quickly came into contact with the aura bubble and pushed against it, causing it to pop.

 

With the Aura Bubble out of the way, Shadow Zero was once more able to use his full powers. Shadow Zero raised his arms towards the sky, summoning more energy then he had the last time. "Chaos...CONTROL!!!" A blinding light emanated from Shadow Zero, reversing the damage that has been caused to the Ranmyaku Temple and leaving it as it had been before anyone had arrived. However, it also had an unintended side effect. As the powers of Chaos Control clashed with the power of Cortez's seven World Rings, it caused a tear to open in the fabric of spacetime and sucked Cortez and Shadow Zero into it, hurling them towards who knows where. They were being flung into another time, another place. Another Era in the history of this world............

 

 

((Will pm Cortez with details. Cortez, please do not do anything random. We need to discuss where this is going to be going from here.))

As the wind roared in his ears, Tenkai felt something tapping his shoulder. He turned around to see Yurusu trying to talk aver the wind (failing), and at the same time making hand signals for Tenkai to stop. The shadows halted suddenly, and the two of them sat suspended in air, only Tenkai's will keeping his partner alive.

"I was telling you to stop so I could let you now something!" Yurusu yelled, recieving a lsap to the face, a warning not to yell anymore, "There's someone else besides us headsing for Fusion. And the other is moving quite fast, and I sense a great power coming from him."

"Hmm... this might hamper our mission," Tenkai whispered, "Damn... just when I think I have Fusion, something has to mess it up. Alright, here's our new plan, again. We need to make it to Fusion first, then you can but up a barrier with your hik-"

"Um, yeah... I never really was good at that kind of stuff. I can do some blast spells... but that's it." Yurusu said, and Tenkai's eyes seemed to burn holes into his head. The team stayed silent for a moment, the wind blowing around them with renewed vigor. At last, Tenkai spoke up.

"All right, if your that much of a loser, than we'll just get there quicker than that other guy and hope for the best.... FULL SPEED!" Tenkai swung his arm in the direction of Fusion, and the shadow launched itself, nearly blowing Yurusu off the ride. The shinigami held onto the edges of the shadow, finding meager support in the slippery edges. Soon enough, they grew close enough to see the bubble containing Fusion and his friend. Lowering the altude of which they were flying Tenkai got close enough to slash at the barrier, but to no avail.

"Damn, this thing must be invincible or something... And Fusion's not visible from here, so we'd just be wasting our time!" Tenkai growled, his plans had all come to rubble.

"Well maybe, you could stay here and I could go take on that other guy? So when the barrier comes down, you'll be right here." Yurusu suggested, and the answer he recieved was watching Tenkai lower himself to the ground, and thrust his arm in the direction of the other person coming. Holding on tight to the shadow, Yurusu blasted off into the distance. Meanwhile, Tenkai leaned against a tree and waited for Fusion to come out. Yet suddenly, the bubble disappeared.

"Hehehe... come on out..."

[Fusion X. Denver]

Fusion marveled at the sight before his eyes. Cortez, you've been fighting someone like this the whole time? Suddenly the hedgehog released an energy wave headed straight towards their group. Fusion braced for impact, but was confused as it went straight through them. Suddenly the bubble was broken and the temple began to reform. "Fusion, this is our chance!" Go yelled to him. Fusion snapped to his senses and began running with Go towards the battlefield. Suddenly, the two stopped as they saw the two combatant's powers clash with each other. A rip in the fabric of space and time formed, sucking Cortez and Shadow within it. "Cortez! No!" Fusion yelled as he leaped after him. But the hole closed and the temple was silent in its original form as if nothing had disturbed it. "Where did he go?" Go yelled to Fusion. Fusion was dumbfounded and did not know how to proceed. Cortez...if only I came sooner, I could have saved you from this. He pounded his fist against the stone wall in frustration. Fusion's eyes suddenly widened as he realized someone else had arrived. He turned to look out of the entrance of the temple. Standing against a tree, was none other than Tenkai Kurayami.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"hmm...interesting...there are more energy signatures arriving at that area....heh...and one of them is coming this way....so, Let's give them a show boyo......" A sudden stop cause the air surrounding him to crack a into a small hill and forming it into the shape of a throne. "Hmm....shabby, but it will do....." He slowly Floats down into his seat and waits, crossing his arms and legs in an impatient manner, as he sat down he looked up into the sky and his eyes began to glow ominously as the Dark Clouds above him began to spread and overtake. Soon afterward rain began pouring down on the ground, each drop felt like a hammer from the sky as they smacked against the dry ground leaving cracks and fissures, yet to Jazeth this was a summer drizzle. He stood up and looked around, if he was going to have a skirmish he would make the place presentable, he raised his hand and the winds began blowing roughly, the sounds of Thunder in the background gave this field the appearance of the valley at the end of the world. "Now then....I hope it doesn't get too chilly for my opponent......" from his hands two Black flames materialize glowing a dark aura. "If so...I'll be kind and make it nice....." the flames expand to his arms, and the appearance of smoke is exuding from his mouth. "and warm............." he laughs sadistically to himself the sound echoing far and wide.

[El Make]

"What is that noise? Wind? Evil laughing? Great, Tenkai matched me up with a maniac!" Yurusu mumbled to himself he neared his target. The wind began to buffet the shadow he was riding, and with his loose grip, a fall was lingering on his mind. Soon enough, he came to a war torn looking place, where the wind roared and someone had black flames coating his arms. Suddenly, the shadow beneath Yurusu dispersed, and he was sent on a free fall to the ground. Quickly getting up, he walked over to within 50 feet of the person, wincing at the evil that seemed to embody him.

"Alright, who the hell are you?" Yurusu yelled as he unsheathed his zanpakuto.

 

Tenkai's eyes locked onto Fusion as soon as he came within sight. Drawing his katana out, he slowly began to walk to the temple's entrance, stopping a few feet from it.

"All right Fusion X. Denver... the day has come. It's time for us to settle this fight of ours... and this time, I won't hold back as much!" Tenkai chuckled as he stabbed his sword into the ground and placed his hands together. Shadows shot out from the swords hilt, like long spikes that threatened to pierce anything they touched.

"Now, come out Fusion. Let's play some more!" Tenkai thrust his hand forward towards the entrance, and the shadows from his katana stretched, shooting into the temple at Fusion like 20 foot long bullets.

[Fusion X. Denver]

"This is the guy you fought with in Karamana Town, wasn't he?" Go asked. The shadow tendrils came at them and the three jumped up in the air to dodge. "How could you tell?" Fusion replied sarcastically. He landed on the ground and stared down Kurayami. "You...I never imagined I'd see you again so soon. It seems your handiwork with shadows has improved too." He quickly stretched out his legs and took out his hammer. "I thought I saw some good in you when we fought, but if you've come all the way here for revenge, I suppose I was wrong. This time I will capture you and hand you in." He prepared to charge until Go butted in, "Fusion can you take this guy? I should help you." "No," Fusion replied. "You're still worn out from your fight with this guy," he said as he nodded to Derek. "You 2 go back inside and look for any clues as to where Cortez went and we'll meet up afterward." Go nodded and he and Derek ran back inside.

 

Fusion turned to Kurayami. "I suppose it's my turn to attack." He ran forward until there was about a 2 yard distance between them. Fusion whipped out his hammer and slammed the ground with it. He had charged it with electricity and sent it out as a lightning bolt that tore up the ground headed to Kurayami. He can dodge in three ways, by either jumping up, to the left, or to the right. Fusion quickly whipped out his hammer in his right direction in case Tenkai dodged that way. At the same time, he threw a fireball the size of his chest at his left direction. Finally, he leaped forward so if Tenkai jumped to avoid the lightning bolt, he'd be right in Fusion's range. "Let's go Kurayami!" Fusion yelled as he swung his right fist downward towards where Tenkai would possibly be in a few seconds.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

"Ah....." His opponent had finally arrived, and now he could enjoy his little game. "I'm sorry about the weather conditions, I truly am......this wind and rain must make everything unbearably cold...let me heat things up!" He widened his stance his arms going out and releasing a huge torrent of flames from his palms towards his opponent in a circular curving path, but the arc was rather large and the blast actually hit much further encircling both of them and creating a rim around their "arena".

 

"Of course...how rude of me.....you asked my name and I gave no response....I AM LORD Jazeth Sai De Drago, soon to be overlord of this world....as soon as I regain my power. of course, absorbing the souls of people like you also help me achieve my goal....so, you can make this easy and sacrifice to your inevitable ruler....or, I can kill you and eat a warm soul in the process.....either way, I don't mind...." he gives a cruel smile and looks at his sword "I also see you have an interesting weapon there, it's aura resonates with your own, it seems to belong to you and only you.....a lot like an Arma Espiritus...." he raises his hand behind his back and a Great Buster Sword materializes, it'[s hilt in his hand. "now then....let's see how entertaining you are...."

[El Make]

As the lightning from Fusion's hammer came towards him, a smirk flickered across Tenkai's face.

I see what you're doing Fusion... Blocking all possible angles of escape. But of all things, you forgot the most potent one... Underground! With the few remaining seconds he had, Tenkai spread the curse mark throughout the left side of his body, quickly sweeping shadows onto his feet and turning them into a drill. The shadows burrowed in the ground, and dragged him along, deep and deeper, then finally veering to the left, away from the destruction of the bolt. Now in pitch black, Tenkai brought the shadows from his feet to his hands, point upward, and was carried towards the surface as the drill shredded the dirt and rocks in his way. A few seconds passed, until Tenkai exploded from the ground, Curse Mark receeded to only the left side of his face, right below Fusion, letting the drill escape his grasp and fly upward at Fusion's stomach.

Like I said, no holding back!

 

"You've set up quite the arena here Jazeth. But I'm not interested in theatrics. I'm here to do one thing, and that thing solely: Get paid for kicking your butt!" With that said, Yurusu began to run at Jazeth, zanpakuto raised at his side. When within 5 feet of Jazeth, the world went black. Soon light began to shine in Yurusu's eyes, and he realized he was "in his sword" as he called it.

Young Yurusu... do you know who you face?

I do! So why are you stopping me? He's just some punk who has some powers...

Moron, he is insanely evil. Yet he is not fully himself. You need to be cautious with this one.

Wait! What do you- Yurusu snapped out of it, and focused back on Jazeth. Using both hands, Yurusu swung his zanpakuto down from his shoulder raised level onto Jazeth.

[BlackSkullCortez]

By the time Cortez started to fly away from the vortex, he was already sucked in, so he went in just behind Shadow. He saw Shadow at first in their space-time warp, but Shadow zipped ahead of him. Before Cortez caught up, he decided to take a moment to look around. He still noticed the blue light representing Uhu by his shoulder. "You're still here?" Cortez was brought into his actually-second-long conversation with Uhu. "You're going to have to find your true center, though. It's the only way you can get back to your normal place in history." Cortez nodded. "And how do you expect me to do that? It's kind of difficult and I don't know when I'll reach that state." Uhu said, "Simple. You just need to take your time before reaching the set opening." With that, Uhu entered Cortez's body. Great. So I have to find something that I don't know how to. Cortez slowly flew towards the opening, and suddenly felt that he was in a different place. He opened his eyes to see that he was surrounded by complete darkness, and he was directly in front of the seven world rings. That was fast. Cortez looked at them, and saw them merge together and create a blue flame that looked like a Knight. "I'm sorry, but have we met before?" The flame said nothing, but held up the flame sword and said, "Heed this power wisely, for you have found the key to the center of your emotions. Unlock it, and you will be granted the true power of the Seven World Rings." With that, the flame threw the sword into Cortez. It had no effect on him, but it was directly placed at his heart. "I will come to you again when you have been able to unlock it's true power, but take a look at your new image." With that, the knight died away. Cortez woke up, still in the vortex. Uhu said to him, "That was the god of light. It looks like he gave you a new look." Cortez looked at himself. He saw he was wearing armor everywhere but his head. It was blue, and the cape was still black. He looked at his sword, and read to say that the blade had draconic runes that spelled out: EXCALIBUR. He smiled and dashed, dramatically faster than before, at a speed that surprised even himself, and caught up with Shadow. That was really obvious. The god of light just told me to "open my heart", didn't he? Cortez turned to Shadow and said, "Race you to the opening, unless you want to destroy this place and never leave."

[Fusion X. Denver]

He can move underground now?! Fusion quickly turned to Kyoja Fusion to heighten his defenses. "You've improved." he said as he grappled Tenkai. He jumped up while holding Kurayami and then body slammed him into the ground. Fusion then jumped back and turned to normal. Before, he acted aimlessly and probably never met someone like me until then. Did meeting me give him the ambition and motivation to improve his skills? "This is my responsibility," Fusion stated to no one in particular. "If I lose, the world could be threatened by a dangerous force. Now I fight to protect the world Tenkai Kurayami!" Fusion ran forward and cartwheeled himself in close proximity to Tenkai. He will undoubtedly believe me to be acting stupid and act upon this opening. Little does he know..I have an ace. When Fusion had started his cartwheel, he guaranteed Kurayami's distraction and initiated telekinesis on the hammer he threw. At the same time, both Fusion and the hammer came at Kurayami. Will he see through it?

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow Zero grinned fiercely at the thought of a race. He hadn't had a good race for a very long time, and he rather relished the idea of having a race with someone who might actually stand a chance at pushing him to his limits. "You'll have to catch me first!" Was all he said before he suddenly increased his speed threefold, easily leaving Cortez behind him and wondering if Cortez even stood a chance at catching up to him. Ah well. If he can't even at least catch up to me, then that just means that he wasn't worth my time anyway.

[BlackSkullCortez]

Cortez channeled the full power of his rings and matched his speed. "You'll have to see my Full Power first!" Cortez started absorbing all seven rings. "I'll show you my new power!" Cortez started producing Blue Energy waves as he was engulfed by a blue flame. Simultaneously, Shadow Zero started producing Red Waves that clashed with Cortez's Blue waves. Are my world rings clashing with the Chaos Emeralds? Suddenly, Cortez and Shadow lost their forms, and the Emeralds and World Rings flew away from both of them. The Blue Flames died away. "Well, there goes my full power." They fell into the opening at the same time. Cortez looked around, to see the eyes of many Shadow's looking at him. This is either my worst nightmare or I went back to the Ranmyaku Tribe, which is my second worst. One said to them, "I've never seen you two around here before, who might you be?" Cortez looked to see that Shadow was next to him, and Cortez said, "I'm Cortez. Nice to meet you." He felt awkward since he knew that the title "Knight of the Wind" might not be known in this point in history.

[Shadow Zero]

"Who, wha, where, HUUUUH!" Was all that Shadow Zero could say. He found himself surrounded by several people who were either in hedgehog or humanoid form. The hair of those in humanoid form were all alternating between two different colors, such as red and black, blue and yellow, orange and white, and so on in a seemingly endless variety while those in hedgehog forms were one main color with stripes of a second color. After a few seconds he was able to recompose himself and said "We come from far away. To be honest, we were having a bit of a sparring match, then something happened that had us going through this weird tunnel and landed us here." As he finished speaking, he saw that one of the Lights of Chaos had actually landed nearby, much to his relief. At the same time, he saw a teenage kid pick it up and instantly broke into a cold sweat. He was speaking with members of his own tribe, which probably meant that the Lights of Chaos hadn't even been created yet! "DON'T TOUCH THAT!" Shadow Zero suddenly called out as he dashed over towards the youth that had picked up the Light of Chaos. The surprised youth turned to face Shadow Zero just in time to have the Light of Chaos snatched out of his hand. In that moment, there was a sudden roar from many of the people there, some of them drawing weapons. Somehow, without knowing it, Shadow Zero had done something extremely dangerous. "Sorry, but this is mine. Must have dropped it when I feel. Anyway, be seeing you!" Shadow Zero then used Chaos Control to teleport away from there, but at that very moment, the youth had grabbed onto him, getting himself caught in the teleportation field in the process. The next thing he knew he was in a secluded building that was closed up for the day and the youth was yelling "Give that back, it's mine, I found it!" Shadow Zero couldn't help facepalming at the predicament that he now found himself in, and knew htat he would have to do a lot of thinking in order to get himself out of this situation.
