I know this dude. I watched X-Men Evolution and wiki'd her a bunch of times before MvC3 was even announced. lol

When I said I don't believe them to be clones, I meant gameplay wise.

 

Oh, ok. In that case, they're about as much clone as Zangief and Magneto. :P

Still no news on the possible inclusion of Gene from God Hand? I can just imagine him being able to use some of the abilities from the Game, such as using a Super Bar to become Invincible for around 5-7 Seconds. Also some hilarious Supers using the God Hand. Meh, I talk too much.... They also need to bring S.T.A.R.S Jill back, not the Nina Williams rippoff she was in Resi 5.

if we talk about clones then Haggar (MvC3) is a clone to Zangief, from what i've heard they share some moves

 

TECHNICALLY, Haggar came first, so that would TECHNICALLY make Zangief the clone of Haggar. I know that Haggar got the spinning piledriver (at least, I think it was the spinning piledriver) off of Zangief while Zangief took Haggar's spinng lariat Though if the leak is to be trusted, Haggar's got enough of his own moves in MvC3 to be considered his own character. Or something.

 

Still no news on the possible inclusion of Gene from God Hand? Um.....you want me to break the bad news, or should someone else do it? Meh, I talk too much.... They also need to bring S.T.A.R.S Jill back, not the Nina Williams rippoff she was in Resi 5.There's still SOME hope (though not much) that she gets her S.T.A.R.S. outfit back as an alternate costume. I don't ever recall Chris or Wesker getting an outfit from a different game (though again, you never know).

Um, not any that I know of. Every single one that's been deconfirmed is currently still in that state. We may get lucky and snag one or two at most out of the deconfirmed section for DLC, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high for one of those to be put into the base game.

woah woah woah hold the phone bro, since when the hell was i ever a "die hard zerofag"? , was i all like "omg lol wtfbbq 0 is being released in mvc3 rolfmho joy" when he was announced -_-? i like Forte more than 0 lady =_=. even i played the phoenix wright games and loved them, but i wouldn't go as far as calling the male protagonist "Feenie" -facepalm-

I think the most likely to be saved are Gambit, Jin and Phoenix. I still don't get why they would take the original characters from the game though. The originals usually get an automatic spot in the new games but apparently not in this one. Still, let's hope they are saved from the abyss that is deconfirmation.

But anyways, you do prove a point. I mean, almost EVERYONE returned in MvC2.

 

From what I've looked up, the ONLY playable characters from other Marvel/vs. Cacpom fighting games that didn't come back in MvC2 were Anita, the U.S. Agent (who was a palette swap of Captain America, Memphisto (who was a palette swap of Blackheart), Onslaught (who was only playable in the console versions), and Norimaro (who was Japan-exclusive).

 

I mean, it'd make sense for them to try and salvage as many of them as possible (at least, as many of the big ones as possible i.e. Gambit, Storm, Strider, Jin I guess, etc.) since they did the same in MvC2. I wouldn't be TOO surprised if that's what they did for DLC (though with the exception of Gambit, I'd personally prefer all new characters).

Which is what I want, DLC.

 

Jill was confirmed for DLC, so I'm praying that Phoenix gets in.

 

But Shuma Gorath is great for now, though.

so i like uploaded Zero's theme from MvC3

 

It's odd, because the X2 version of Zero's theme is the one I DON'T like (actually, I don't really like much of the X2 soundtrack), yet I think this song is pretty damn cool. Maybe it's because this one is more fleshed out? Idk. I certainly like this better than She-Hulk's theme, though (though that one ain't half-bad either).

An IGN interview with Niitsuma shed a bit of light on deconfirmed characters:

 

1) Some vampire Buddhist guy from Darkstalkers is gone......idk.....looked pretty cool to me.

2) Anyone from Ace Attorney is also snuffed out.

3) They tried to incorporate Silver Surfer's board into his moveset, but just couldn't work it out. So they instead opted to make him fight without it, which in turn just made him look like Iceman. So they gave him the axe.

4) Due to an error on Marvel's part, Deadpool accidentally wound up on the list of characters not to be made playable. Had a Capcom translator not asked Marvel why they weren't allowed to use Deadpool, Marvel would have never caught their mistake and we'd have no Deadpool. Capcom translator is credit to team!

Is it me or does storm looks more like her comic book counterpart than the cartoon :mellow: also C.Viper move more fluent than in SSF4 , but who gives a crap, show me something that will amaze me =.= (like Jin, Commando or X). Just the thought of seeing the first megaman in 3D just creeps me out yo >_>". Also there should be seizure warning for this game XD.
