You know who else couldn't fight? Hakushon Daimaō. Neither could Roll. Neither could Game and Watch. Or R.O.B. Or CAPTAIN FALCON.

 

Roll - Robot. And she was able to fight in Powered Up. Which came out after MvC, right? And the fact that she's a robot means nothing if she isn't built to fight.

Game and Watch - Understandable, in my opinion

R.O.B. - Robot again. He's a gaming peripheral for the NES. *see Roll for robot thing*

Captain Falcon - Captain Falcon is Captain Falcon. Then what was he before Smash Bros.?

 

I don't know about the guy in the Youtube link The guy in the Youtube link is a genie who can only be summoned when someone sneezes nearby his lamp. He'll grant your wish, but it'll more often than not go comically wrong. Not exactly fighting material., but none of them are damn lawyers. I'm an Ace Attorney fanboy, and I admit myself that it's far from likely. Now the Steel Samurai from the AA series has a greater chance, in my opinion.

 

@TAG - You were right' date=' it was the EXE version. (It's sad that I cannot tell the difference between the EXE and Starforce versions. Of course, I only really liked the regular and X series - so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise).

Fair enough. A simply mistake is all.

 

For those who want amaterasu from okami in the game' date=' that can't happen. Capcom quit clover studios and most of them went on to make bayonetta.

It's too bad that Capcom isn't releasing a sequel for the DS called Okamiden, right?

Its too bad, yknow...that you were hoping for no amaterasu, but that lil goddess made it in.

 

PW is confirmed to not be in sadly...T-T </3

 

Megaman is being brought in as Volnutt (ugh)

Needs to have some Dan Hibiki vs Doc Ock (or Octagonapus, whatever floats your boat)

 

Eh? I saw nothing that confirms Mega Man as a playable character (he's probably in, but we don't know which one yet. And don't bring up the Legends stage. That don't prove a darn thing).

 

No Jin and/or Strider = fail =3= imo so don't bash people

 

Strider moreso for me. :D

 

Although personally, out of all veteran characters not yet announced, I'd like to see Gambit the most. Oh, and Mega Man (although he's virtually a given). I'd say Frank West as well, but c'mon. Anyone who says that the silhouette shown in one of the promo thing isn't him is crazy.

Jin and Strider aren't in this one? Hopefully Captain Commando will be in the game.

 

1) No one's deconfirmed Jin or Strider.

2) Not to sound like I'm trying to rain on your parade, but there's been rumor that C. Viper is a playable character. Apparently, she plays very much like Captain Commando. So if the rumor's true, then I'm not sure what that says about Cap Com..........

Someone said something about Jin and Strider not appearing in this one, as for C. Viper, I didn't like her much in SSF4. Thing is Commando can do some heavy damage and he has an epic entrance.

oh goodie thanks alot Seth you stupid a****** =_=, there was every single megaman in a fighting game but X wasn't (Rock - Mvc 1,2 ; R.Zero - SnkVsCapcom and Onimusha ; Exe - Onimusha ; Trigger - TvC) what now are they going to add ZX? god dam it capcom managed to piss me off again >_>"

Hey, remember that fighting game where Starforce Mega Man was in it? Yeah, that was awesome. And his level 3, where he got his king tribe and just started OWNING? Yeah, fun times.

 

 

On another note, I was recently reading a fake roster on GameFAQ's. One of the rivalries had Haggar matched up with the Kingpin from Spiderman, Daredevil, or anywhere else he may have been in Marvel Comics. I never actually thought about the Kingpin ever being in this game before that. I know he has immense strength on his side, but is there anything else he can do besides that? I'm pretty sure he also had a fair share of gadgets and thingamajigs to use in a fight. I mean, obviously Kingpin doesn't stand a chance in hell, but I personally think that if Haggar would be in the game, the Kingpin would make a pretty solid rival.

Sarcastic, my friend. Well, I'm fairly certain that he was never in a fighting game. Although personally, I was never very fond of Starforce Mega Man. I'd prefer EXE again over Starforce, but that's just me.

We still have like 5 more versions. IMO Classic is the best since he is the first. Still for the others to get some love would be nice too.

 

IMO, as long as it ain't Starforce, I'm cool. I personally wouldn't really like Volnutt (Legends) either, but I'd take him over Starforce. EXE or ZX would be fine, and Classic would be my favorite. X was my preferred candidate on account of him not being in a fighting game yet, but now I'm holding out for Classic. :D
