Althemia Posted April 17, 2011 Report Share Posted April 17, 2011 So today, I went to an MvC3 tournament... I saw a lotta Tron, Haggar, Sentinel and Amaterasu. I had entered with my team of Dormammu, Trish and Morrigan, and I did somewhat decent, but the janky controllers the store had kinda threw me off. First round I beat a team of Amaterasu, Wolverine and Sentinel piloted by one of the event organizers, so I was pretty proud of myself. But 2nd round I lost to a team of Hulk, Sent and Tron because I lost my cool at the controller being unresponsive. =/In the loser's bracket, I won the first round against Ammy, Zero and Dante, but then again lost to a team of Tron, Sent and Akuma. D=I think it's a pretty fun game. At my school someone's always bringing the XBox and MvC3 to play in the Game Room, so there's always matched to be had. =D [/tournament report] A suggestion from me: Drop Trish for either Hulk or Haggar. I play Dormammu, Morrigan and Hulk and it's A LOT better. Trust me on this. No one uses him any more; with the newest balance patch knocking his damage down as well as his health a little bit, he's beyond terrible. =/ Also, I'm just saying that Akuma and Ryu on a team don't tend to work well together imho. Well I haven't went to my friends house to play it... And I like Akuma in that situation because his Ultra Hyper Combo or what ever you want to call it takes a big chunk of health... Also, it seems as if you had quite a bad match-up against Tron's, huh? =PI may try learning one of those guys, but I just couldn't get the hang of them at all at first. =/ Also, I've learned to play Tron because my buddy loves playing her.
