how do you make the pictures look nice

alot of the pictures i use come out all pixelated and dont look good on the card

Crop them with programs like MS Paint or Gimp before you put it on a card and it will retain the quality.

The cropping software that YCM uses is very sketchy.

start with bigger pictures. small ones distort.

Also try using MS paint / photoshoppy programs to crop the pictures if they're too big or super long / wide.
