OoC Thread

 

IC: Nikki Heartstrung nodded sedately, deep in the solitary cavern she had been told to stay in.

'Of course. I must not...' She sighed. 'Must not disobey.'

She knelt down to the ground and picked up the stiletto knife she had dropped. Then she silently spun around and threw the knife, along with four more identical weapons, at her target. Each knife was exactly two centimeters away from the center of the dartboard, in the shape of an exact pentagon. Nikki walked briskly to the dartboard and pulled out her daggers.

'Must... train...' She droned. Her voice had a strange lilting accent, unplaceable by anyone who heard it. Not that anyone did, trapped in the cave as she was.

Nikki tossed three knives in the air, and began balancing them on the hilts of the two weapons in her hands. After a few minutes of this, she began launching the knives again at the dartboard, landing all five in the exact same spots as before. She sighed again.

'Train forever. Must not disappoint Lord...' She thought back hazily. 'Kronos. Must not disobey Lord Kronos.'

Kos Springs was living the life. Where ever that was he just moved along. He listened to the spirits telling him to destroy Mount Olympus. He was fighting it, but he was not that strong. He wanted to free Kronos because the spirits wanted him to. He wanted to help kill this threat to show his dad how strong he was. He was stuck and he needed help. He wanted to go to camp Half-Blood. This spirits denied. He was lost.

Zack walked through the force field waving good by to his mother. He walked into his nice wet cabin. It had rained last night and the cabin was still wet from the rain. He sat down on the damp blueish white bed, thinking of what he'd learn this year or what'd he'd improve on. He took off the belt full of water bottles. He used them to heal himself when hurt. He laid down on the bed and tried to take a small nap, but couldn't fall asleep because the bed was to wet. He sat up and walked down to the sword training area. He looked at the nice view of the lake. "Aahhh what a great view of the lake."

'Pathetic.' Dante replied, disarming his opponent with practiced ease. He grinned, before replacing his blades in their sheathes, attacked to the back of his Armor/Jacket.

'Keep your blade up, or you're an easy target.' He instructed the younger demigod, as his armor reformed into a simple leather jacket.

'And with that, I'm gone!' He called over his shoulder, already running off.

The boy nodded.

'Yes. Yes you are. As am I.' He chuckled, dropped the sword to the ground, and vanished.

Jecht practiced his swordsmanship on a dummy. He repeated the same movement over and over. Slice. Slice. Dodge. Stab. Every time he changed it up a little. Every time the sword so much as glanced off the dummy it was singed where it hit. Teh dummy hwe had already done it were burnt to a crisp. He sliced daiagonally gracfully and weaved out of the way as if the enemy slicing in a downward movement, the stabbed him under the arm, where a brink in armor would be, electrifying the dummy.

Ravax reappeared, moments later, inside a simple cabin, undecorated and uninhabited. It was also unfindable. Ravax smiled. Chiron has finally realized it, hasn't he? Seconds later, Chiron blew the conch horn.

'All campers, report to the Pavilion!' He called out loudly.

 

Unnoticed, Ravax quietly stood up, before walking slowly towards the Pavilion at the center of Camp Half-Blood. About time, too. I was beginning to think... well, that I'd be the only one aware.

 

Dante frowned slightly, before hurrying towards the Pavilion. He thought for a moment. That's... strange, I guess... I thought I was... He frowned again, looking around, to find that he was near the Strawberry Fields. He had been heading towards the Arena, for some training. He thought some more, before shrugging, and continuing on his way.

Must have just forgotten.

Kos was sitting on a park bench in new york. He was thinking of how to bring back Kronos. He felt the dark spirits call him. He felt a demon. He wanted to talk to someone, but he knew the people here wouldn't understand. He needed to get to Camp Half Blood as soon as possible. he needed to talk to them and get the demons out of him.

Aqua and Tide were sitting in their cabin talking back and forth from their beds. They were laughing and giggling about things and talking about training. Poseidon was the topic of some of their discussion today. Poseidon was close to them. More to them then any of his other children. " So you think mom is okay?" Aqua asked her brother. " She is fine Aqua. Dont worry. Dad said she would be fine." Tide replied to his twin. aqua turned to Tde after looking at the lake. " How can we be sure?" She replied.

Kos was looking for a way to get in touch with someone who knew about the camp or who could take him there. He needed help. His body was shivering as he sitting on the bench. He knew that someone was going to notice him. The mist covered up his right hand. He was holding Earl. In the mist he looked like a dog that was in countless battles. Without it he was a fiend and could transform into a human or other things.

'I can take you to camp.' There was a soft voice behind Kos. Nikki's flickering eyes examined him closely.

'Kos Springs, am I right? I know the way to Camp Half-Blood.' Must... destroy... 'I'll assume that we're on the same side in this war.' Annihilate... 'Follow me.' She began walking slowly in the direction of Camp Half-Blood, as her mind drifted. War is a delicate matter. Nothing should be done until the results are certain... The god of War, trapped in a simple Pithos... three mountains, atop one another... Seven days down, seven days up...

"Ok thank you." He said. It was weird to him that someone found him that fast. H was still happy though. He needed help and he knew it. The spirits were screaming right now. He was stronger than they were at the moment. He wanted be on the good side. Kos was wondering why did Nikki look like she was examining him. The son of Hades was on his way to being better again.

IC: 'Then follow me.' Nikki instructed him, before taking off running, heading towards Camp.

 

'Campers!' Chiron called, blowing the conch horn again, so that it resonated all over the camp, signalling to everybody to report to the Pavilion.

 

Nikki froze, turning to Kos. 'We're close. You can hear the conch. Remember, as soon as we get there, head straight to the Pavilion.'

 

'Hello.' Ravax smirked, walking into the Oracle's Room.

'What do you want?' She asked irritably.

Ravax shrugged. 'A prophecy.'

The oracle scowled. 'I can't just spew out prophecies whenever I feel like it, you know. Come back later.'

 

ooc: Remember, this takes place after the books, meaning that the original oracle was replaced by Rachel, who was, in turn, replaced by this new person.

Zack saw his Twin Cousins. Aqua and Tide as they came by the lake. "Hey Tide and Aqua. How's it going?" Zack said as he walked up to them. "It's been awhile hasn't it? You just get here? Well I'm going to go to my cabin." Zack walked back to his cabin. He looked around at the nice summer camp of Half-bloods. There were birds chirping and the sound of the wind as something hit his face from the wind. It was a small piece of damp white paper. "What the hell was that doing in the wind. Who dropped that anyway?"

Tide and aqua caught up with Zack. Aqua smiled at him. " It's good to see you zack. How are you?" Aqua asked him smiling at him. Tide liked Zack they were cousins through Zeus, Poseidon and Hades' brother-ship. Tide and Aqua started walking towards Chiron since he sounded the conch. Aqua then turned to Zack again. "Want to go see Chiron with us? We are sorta heading the same way right?" Aqua asked him.

"Sure I'd love to cousin. Besides I have nothing to do since it was raining last night my whole cabin is soaked. So I have to wait awhile. I haven't been that bad though. It's great to be back in this amazing camp." Zack said walking with Aqua through the damp green forest. "I keep feeling like as if I have forgotten something. Nah oh well. So where is Chiron exactly?" I can't wait until I get to start training again little be so awesome!"

Jecht was about to chop the dummy to pieces when the conch was blown. He looked at the direction of the Pavilion confused as camper began heading that way. THen Chiron blew it again. "Okay, oaky. I'm coming." Jecht muttered as twisted the handle of the dao sword and it changed into a small ring, with a lightning bolt symbol of top made of topaz on top. Jecht caught it and placed it on the midle finger of his right hand. Then, beganing running in the direction of the pavilion.

Kos was amazed at how big the camp was. He heard about it and heard it was very safe for people like him. Kos was amazed at all the kids and other THINGS there. He then saw some of them stare at him. Kos was unlike other people. He looked like a shadow that was actually a ghost. He was a person, but it was hard to see him.[spoiler=view]

He still had the body figure of a human. He had feet and arms. It's just he could make himself look invisible and untouchable. He would turn into this. He was ready to help fight the spirits. He felt safe.

When the campers had arrived, Chiron sighed, steeling himself for what he was about to do.

'Campers.' He said, when the chatter had died down. 'It would seem we are in grave danger. I have recieved word from the gods of Olympus, that something evil is stirring. Something dangerous. None of us are certain what it is, but I recently paid the oracle a visit.' He gestured to the girl standing behind him. She stepped up.

'And I heard a very interesting prophecy, which I believe all of us should hear.' He sighed again, before reciting the prophecy.

Coming evil, bane of life,

Causing fears, one father strife,

Nightmare master, all alone,

Coming West, to take the throne,

Shining moon and mothers all,

Fight a foe that cannot fall,

The Alkahest Items may win the fight,

But in the wrong hands, end every light,

With them, campers, three or more,

Head East to fight the Dark Core.

 

 

As soon as Nikki heard the prophecy, she bit her lip, before sprinting as fast as she could away from Camp.

Aqua and Tide looked at each other. They thought to each other frantically. Could one father strife be our father Aqua? Tide thought to her with a worried tone. aqua being the voice of reason of the two tried to calm her brother down. It may be another one's father. there are many male gods. But coming evil, bane of life. Maybe that could be the end of nature at the hands of a coming evil. Aqua thought back. of course they didnt know what to think but they had many ideas. Aqua looked worried she was still worried about what Tide said about their father. Maybe she would get more information about the prophecy.

Kos was scared as he was also new. He was surprised at how much danger they all were in and they were in a safe place. "My name is Kos Springs." He said to Chiron. He didn't know what to do he was freaked out and totally excited. The one thing he new was that he had Earl. Earl had jumped off his hands onto the ground. It turned into a spider the size of Chiron. "I guess he's scared too."Kos thought to himself.

One father... Artemis... All alone... Cannot fall... Nikki turned around. Camp Half-Blood was nearly out of sight already. It all adds up to... But it cannot. Nothing could ever bring... But then... She shook her head, before turning around and sprinting, stopping just out of sight of the Camp's Borders, by a large rock. She then pulled one of her knives out of its sheath, and stabbed it into a crack in the rock. The crack widened, until it was just large enough for Nikki to slip through. She did, sheathing her knife as the passage closed behind her.

 

'Welcome to Camp Half-Blood.' Chiron told Kos. 'Due to you're... pet... I'll assume you already know about your demigod heritage?'

"Yes I which I wasn't alone. I feel like Percy already. So can you help me? I'm sure you know of my condition." Kos was scared and happy. He was save or at least he though he was. This camp was the safest place for people like him and he had finally made it. His pet didn't seem that scared at all.

IC: Chiron nodded. 'Do you know which of the gods is your parent?' He thought for a minute. 'Hades, probably. I can show you to your cabin.' He led Kos to a large cabin made of black metal, with a skull over the door.

'Here you are. If you need any help, come and get me. Or ask somebody from the Hermes cabin.' With that, he cantered off.
