'Why is this happening?' Nikki asked Joe Bob, who shrugged.

'You remember the girl you fought, Robyn?'

Nikki nodded. 'She almost killed me.'

Joe Bob restrained a grin. 'Yep. She fought against the Supreme King, and lost. Now she's in the stars.'

'What does that have to do with anything?' Nikki asked him, annoyed. 'Robyn doesn't have anything to do with this, does she?'

'Actually, she does.' Joe Bob laughed. 'Before Robyn got sent, she cursed this world. Robyn isn't normal. She's... she has power. More power than most other people. She cursed this world, to endure limitless torture. She brought back every peril since forever. Dartz was only one. Soon, there will be more, and they'll be worse. The seal of Orichalcos is nothing, compared to the future.'

After the defeat of Scarr, Jack gave a smirk, then raised his fist to the sky. "I'm sorry I sent you all to the stars!" Jack declared, a few tears running down his cheeks. Jack ran for it. Only those who he recently defeated have returned.... The others were long gone. Jack just kept on running..... Until he ran off a cliff..... "AAAAAAAAAAH!" Jack yelled out as he fell. "OOPH!" Jack stated as he fell unconscious between Joe Bob and Nikki.

'But wait...' Nikki stuttered, more than a bit disturbed by Joe Bob's certainty that the world was over. 'But, Joe Bob, I-'

Joe Bob held out a hand to interrupt her.

'Joe Bob? Not quite, my dear. Call me JB. It's simpler, if you know what I mean.'

Nikki thought for a minute. 'JB? So wait... you're asking my to call you JB? JB?'

'Yes.' Joe Bob said. 'JB. Now, feel free to proceed.'

'Um... okay... But, JB, how do you know this?'

JB laughed. 'I know everything. I especially know that you have to be ready for anything. You all do.'

 

Then they both stepped back as Jack landed, miraculously, between them. JB knealt next to him, flipping him right side up, to see who he was.

'Jack? Jack Fudo?' JB frowned. 'The Supreme King... But I... Hmm...' He thought for a minute.

'I see. Now... Wake up.' He demanded, and, just barely, a flicker of life seemed to creep back into Jack's seemingly lifeless face.

"Ugh." Jack stated as a card flew out of his Duel Disk..... Slifer the Sky Dragon "Huh?" Jack opened his eyes "J-Joe Bob?! Ow." Jack stated "I-I thought I sent you to the stars....." Jack stated as he got back up on his feet. He quickly picked Slifer back up and placed him back in his deck. "Duel Academy......." Jack stated, followed by looking to the sky "I'm sorry I sent you all to the stars......" Jack whispered, a tear running down his cheek.

JB shook his head.

'You did. But it wasn't your fault. It was the Supreme King's. But that doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that when you sent that girl, Robyn, to the stars, she cursed you, and all of us. She's cursed us with the past. Do you understand? We are up against the past. The whole past. Every danger since time began. Nikki here came up against the Seal of Orichalcos already. You've heard of that? There'll be more. Especially the seven gateways. We have to work together to stop it. All of it.'

Jack wiped the tear off his cheek and looked down at his pendent. Stardust Dragon, his heart and soul. Jack added two cards to his Elemental Hero deck and was ready to go. "I see." Jack stated "After what I'v- The Supreme King's done, I'll do more than my part in getting us back to Duel Academy." Jack stated, his eye-color changed to that of The Supreme King's "I'll do anything to get us back." Jack stated with the voice of The Supreme King.

'No.' JB said forcefully. 'You can't let the Supreme King back in. You have to fight it. Just... listen to me.

'Me and Jason are a pair. Just like Septimus and Robyn, or you and the Supreme King. We are interconnected. You sent me and Jason to the stars. That means that when I came back, Jason returned as well. He's gone... somewhere. Possibly to rouse more evil forces. The best thing we can do is get ready. I'll bring us to your friends, but we have to work fast.'

He snapped his fingers, and the trio vanished, reappearing moments later with Violet, Zack, and the others.

'Fast.' He advised, before vanishing into thin air.

Jack nodded, still with the eye-color of the Supreme King "Don't worry about the Supreme King." Jack stated in the Supreme King's voice "We're the same person, I shouldn't be afraid of him or he'll take over again." Jack explained as he clenched his fist "I have to take control over HIM." Jack stated before his eye-color returned to normal. "Don't worry." Jack stated, his voice back to normal.

Mattai walked with the duel spirit behind the big hill, the wind seemed to get colder as the ground grew much harder.

 

"Feel that?", Mattai asked Galact

 

"Something feels bad around here", Galact responded

 

They continued walking still behind the massive hill. mattai stops as he heres a voice saying "'You can't let the Supreme King back in!".

 

"What the? The Supreme King?". They then heard "We're the same person, I shouldn't be afraid of him or he'll take over again."

 

"They must be with the supreme king! Looks like we will have to duel Galac. Get ready!"

Jack heard a voice behind them "Come out!" he demanded, activating his Duel Disk. Jack walked over to where he heard the voice to see Mattai. Jack's eye-color changed to that of the Supreme King's "Are you part of The Supreme King's army?!" Jack asked in the Supreme King's voice, with an intimidating stare that made him seem high and mighty. Jack just looked down at Mattai with the Supreme King's glare until his eyes went back to normal.

Mattai took a big 5m jump back and activated his duel disk.

 

"Those eyes", Mattai thought."No doubt his the one...the Sumpreme King..."

"Don't play dumb with me!", Mattai called. "You know i'm not in your army Supreme King! I'll make you pay for all the suffering you've inflicted not only to my family but the world!"

 

Mattai's duel spirit went into his Deck.

 

"You're not escaping this!", Mattai clenched his fists and grinded his teeth."No more people will be sent to the stars!" Mattai pointed his left arm and duel disk at the supreme king showing no signs of backing down from any sort of challenge.

Jack's eyes changed to that of the Supreme King "I'm not the Supreme King. I WAS the Supreme King, but I'm now in control." Jack stated in the voice of the Supreme King, Jack's eyes returned to normal "Trust me." Jack stated in his normal voice. "If you heard our conversation like I think you did, then you were sure to have heard what I said." Jack stated, about to repeat what he said, but he didn't, knowing that Mattai would repeat it for him.

Mattai remembered the last thing that he remembered from the conversation he overheard "We're the same person, I shouldn't be afraid of him or he'll take over again"

 

Hesitant at first, Mattai did not trust the figure.

 

Mattai looked down and phewed a sigh of light releif. "Sorry," Mattai began. "I got a bit carried away...", He looked up at Jack and deactviated his duel disk. "I'm Mattai and you are?".

 

The duel spirit of Galactic warrior came out and stood next to Mattai.

"Jack Fudo." Jack responded as he deactivated his Duel Disk. Jack walked up to Mattai and motioned his hand, offering for a handshake. Jack did the same for the Duel Spirit as well as Elemental Hero Neos and Stardust Dragon appeared next to Jack. Neos had his arms crossed. For the first time since Jack was taken over by The Supreme King, he actually had a hint of fun in him.... but it didn't last long.

Born of darkness, life of gloom,

The chant echoed around the dark cavern, sung by the ghostly figures who flitted around the cave. In the very back was an ornate black throne, in which a large skeletal being sat, twirling a scythe in its hand. It was vaguely humanoid, though the species itself that might have had such a skeleton was unplaceable.

'Anything?' The skeletal monster rumbled. A skeleton rose from the ground at its feet; the huge skeleton was so large that the minion it had summoned was barely able to reach its knee, if the minion so chose to. But it didn't.

'Nothing, my lord.' The Skeletal Trooper bowed its head humbly. 'We cannot find anything.'

'Keep looking!' demanded the Shadow Lord. 'We must find him, fast.'

Guardian Baou, one of the four remaining duelists under the Supreme King's command was watching them all from a distance. Informing the other three (really two for reasons to be said later) of what Jack was up to. "He seems stronger in more ways than one....." Guardian Baou stated with a smirk "Maybe we haven't lost the Supreme King......" Guardian Baou stated with a smirk..... "Heheheh."

'We must prepare.' A rasping voice came form behind the wisp of smoke, drifting in the air. The smoke solidified into a solid sphere of grey smoke, before igniting to form a Flame Trooper, which turned to face the source of the voice.

'You are not welcome here. Begone.' The flames commanded, before separating into three seperate fires, burning in midair.

'The Flame Lord needs no assistance from the likes of you.'

The large, serpantlike dragon shuddered for a moment, before glaring at the Flame Troopers.

'The likes of me? Not one of the Lord of Light's creations could withstand my might. But worse is coming. We must prepare.'

The smoke coming from the fireballs surrounded the shadowy dragon.

'Begone...' Came whispers, emanating from the smoky haze.

'Never!' The dragon roared, scattering the Smoke Troopers. 'Bring me to your leader! Bring me to the Flame Lord!'

'Why, they don't have to.' A smooth voice came from a cloud of smoke, which scattered to reveal a human, who's entire body was invisible beneath blazing flames. Smoke formed around him, and where he stepped, fires began.

'I'm already here.'

Mattai shaked Jack's hand as did the Galactic Warrior. "So now how do we get out of this place?", Mattai asked with a questioned tone.

 

"It will be good to have people with us on this journey but i still feel as if we're not in the clear yet". The Galactic Warrior said. The air did become slightlymore chilly and was alot easier to spot.

IC: 'Oh, believe me, we aren't.' Nikki walked up to them. 'We'e got a long way to go. Mattai, you didn't hear Joe Bob, did you? He said that we're up against everything. Everything. The Wicked Gods, the Shadow Games, the- the Seal of Orichalcos; Everything! And even if I took out Dartz, and the Supreme King is dead, we've still got a heck of a way to go. So polish up your duel disk, and fix up your deck, cuz' we've only just begun.'

Seal of Orichalcos, Shadow Duels, Underworld, Sent to the Stars, Wicked Gods... Got to find a history book or something. Got to find a complete list...

 

'Hey, sword dude.' Dante grinned. 'It's your move.'

Mattai hearing this response folded his arms and thought for a second. "Okay, we've got all these challenges ahead, so where do we start?" Mattai took out his Deck and flipped through it. " I was given this Deck a long time ago...and it may not be enough." Mattai walked to a big rock not far away and sat on it.

 

"Where were use heading to?" Mattai questioned as lay back on the rock looking up at the dark sky.

Nikki sighed. 'I don't know. Joe Bob told me everything I told you. But we've got to move. Fast. Before more of them appear. We've got to...' She stopped, before spinning around, activating her duel disk, as she heard somebody behind her.

'Show yourself!' She commanded.

A voice could be heard, but nobody was visible. 'Why would I do that?'

Nikki froze. 'You!' She hissed.

'Me.' A young boy, maybe 10 years old, appeared, with an active duel disk on his arm. 'You remember me?' He turned to Jack. 'I still believe you owe me your Egyptian God Card. Remember?'

Jack's eyes turned to the color of the Supreme King "I won't lose this time." Jack stated in the Supreme King's voice "Not after all I've done, I owe it to everyone to get us back to the academy!" Jack stated in the Supreme King voice as he activated his Duel Disk and drew five cards, followed by the sixth. Jack's eyes and voice returned to normal "I'll start with Elemental Hero Clayman in defense mode." [DEF: 2000] "And I'll set a face-down, that's all she wrote." Jack stated.

Mattai sat up with a puzzled look on his face, wondering who the kid being dueled is. "A kid? Who is he?", Mattai questioned. the boy did seem to have some sort of dark effect on the area, his eyes seemed dark and cold that seemed to bring a light breeze to the area. Mattai jumped off the rock and folded his arms still questioning in his head why everyone seemed slightly threatened by this kid. "id like to see how this plays out" Mattai thought.

Septimus beamed. 'Very well. I'll summon Blackwing Shura, the Blue Flame. Now I can special summon Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind. And Gale's ability halves Clayman's defense points, which means Shura can wipe him out. Let's not forget that when Shura kills a monster, I can summon any Blackwing with a loow enough attack score, so I'll summon Kalut, the Moon Shadow. Kalut, Gale, double direct attack! I'll end my turn with Raptor Wing strike, to return Kalut into my deck, and bring any single Blackwing into my hand. Ready to hand over Slifer yet, Jack?'

None of that happened "Negate attack!" Jack declared as Kalut stayed in the deck and Raptor Wing Strike never happened. Jack drew his card "Heheheh." Jack stated "I play! Polymerization! I fuse Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix! In order to create! Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!" [ATK: 2100] "Think that's all I've got for you? I activate! Fusion Recovery! I add Burstinatrix and Polymerization back to my hand! Now I play! Polymerization! I fuse Elemental Hero Clayman and Elemental Hero Sparkman in my hand! In order to create! Elemental Hero Thunder Giant!" [ATK: 2400] Jack's eyes turned to the color of the Supreme King's "I'll win this duel without the power of Slifer!" Jack declared with the Supreme King's voice. "Now I activate Thunder Giant's ability! I destroy Gale! Now Flame Wingman! Attack his Shura! Go Skydive Scorcher!" Septimus LP: 7700 "Think that's all? Now you take damage equal to Shura's attack points!" Septimus LP: 5900 "Now! Thunder Giant! Direct attack!" Septimus LP: 3500 "I end my turn." Jack stated.
