You are a player in an online game known as “Rabbit Doubt”. The rules of the game are simple, there are a number of rabbits, and one wolf. On the first day, the wolf will kill one person, and it will continue from there until the Rabbits find out who the “Wolf” is, and kill him or her.

 

One day, during an offline meeting with a few of your Rabbit Doubt friends, you are attacked and taken to an abandoned house in an unknown area of Japan. You realize you and your friends body parts have bar codes on them. After seeing what they're for, you realize they open a door.

 

In that room, you find one of your friends dead, and their cellphone next to their dead body.

 

The cellphone shows nothing but the start-up of the “Rabbit Doubt” game screen.

If the premise isn't clear enough, you must try to find out who the wolf is before you die yourself. Or, alternatively, stop the Rabbits from finding out that you are the wolf.

 

I will hand select the wolf myself right before we begin, the wolf will select which rabbit will die and how they will be killed, but to prevent easy recognition on who the wolf is, I will take control of the wolf as a NPC.

 

If your character is to die, there is no second chances. But to keep things fair, the wolf is only allowed to kill 1 person per day.

1.All Advanced Clause Rules Apply, if they are broken swift punishment will be given. The Advanced Clause Rules are as followed:

Minimum Post Length – Each standard IC post should have the equivalent of at least 4 lines of text. However, a good post should have around one to two paragraphs with proper English spelling and grammar, and should have enough material for other RPers to expand and elaborate on in their own posts. (As a rule of thumb, 4 unbroken lines of text on YCM at standard size and font is roughly 100 words.)

 

Dialogue – Dialogue should be done in one of two ways; in quotation marks or in speech lines. Script format is prohibited, because it doesn’t allow as much description and is dull overall.

 

Expies – Copy-paste characters from either separate RPs or from already existing franchises, with only minor detail changes, are frowned upon. This doesn’t allow true “evolution” as a unique character.

Character Name: Seth Perez

Age/Gender: 16/Male

Appearance: Seth is 5'11 and lean. His face is defined and bony, but not totally gaunt. His light, straight brown hair is usually cut short. He usually wears blank black or white t-shirts and jeans due to his liking to simple things. He wears glasses and rarely takes off his watch.

Personality [3 Sentences]: Despite being physically weak and mentally average, Seth's greatest strength is his ability to read people; in other words, he can usually catch if someone is lying or not by the way they structure their sentences or act. Because of this, Seth is uncompromising when it comes to his ideas of right or wrong, and doesn't let others influence or manipulate him. Seth's greatest flaw is that he hates being outsmarted or tricked to the point where he over thinks nearly everything.

Bio [4 sentences]: Other than his great observing skills, Seth is a pretty normal teenager; he is a little lazy, has a lot of friends, gets along with people well, does okay in school, etc. He is nicknamed Jack by his friends, because he is best described as a jack at all trades, a master at none. Seth's parents are divorced, and due to a huge legal process, he went to live with this father rather than mother. Because of this, he is distant from her and hates his father because of it.

He leaned back in his chair, smiling, "This isn't Kira, just some impersonator. But either way, I'm almost sure the Kira before was caught," he leaned forward, his slender face a bit more solemn. "This one will too. L figured it out last time, and even if worst comes to worst, he will this time."

Also, this is set in Japan, therefore having a name like "Seth Perez" would not be normal. That didn't have any part in my rejection, but it is a point of interest.

[spoiler=Application.]Character Name: Yui Kisaragi

 

Age/Gender: 16, female.

 

Appearance: Saying that Yui's hair is unkept would be a drastic understatement; tangled and uncontrollable, the brunette strands never seem to stay in place. Although her hair is long, and surely has the potential to be beautifully sleek, Yui doesn't bother with it, stating that it's simply too much trouble. She has normal blue eyes, and a rather average figure as well. She usually wears pajamas or similar clothes, even in public, because they're comfortable and much less of a hassle. A lot of these clothes are oversized, once again, for the comfort factor.

 

Personality [3 Sentences]: Yui has a mindset that makes her feel rather inferior, and as a result, she tries to avoid people. She's become rather distant from people after a disaster in her second year of middle school, and because of this, she has began ignoring social norms like wearing the appropriate clothes or saying proper greetings. Yui also has a very negative view on life as a whole, believing that if you were born into an unimportant family, then you will live an unimportant life, and thus die an unimportant death. Because of this, she rarely exerts any effort, because it's simply a waste of time and energy to her.

 

Bio [4 sentences]: Yui was quite the average girl up until her second year of middle school; this was when one of her closer friends, Nami, was diagnosed with cancer. Yui visited Nami every day in the hospital, and every day Nami would act strong for Yui, until one day Nami just lost her strength. She told Yui that she was going to die without living an impact on this world, that her life would be without meaning and that no one would miss her. Yui tried to convince her otherwise, but she failed, and Nami died thinking herself worthless.

 

Yui supposed that she should feel sad or depressed after her death, but she couldn't really feel anything. All she did was start thinking about how cruel it was for Nami to die thinking herself unimportant. After weeks of isolation, Yui had finally come to the revelation that her life really had no purpose either, and like Nami, she would die a meaningless, unimportant death.

 

She attempted suicide, but could never gain the courage to truly go through with it. Instead, she simply gave up with life. She dropped out of school, became a hikikomori, and generally stopped caring about her appearance and how she presented herself. This style of life went on until one day, when she was bored and in a rather playful mood, found out about this nifty game called Rabbit Doubt...

The doors of one of the most prestigious universities in Japan swayed open, revealing a plethora of what-seemed-to-be busy scientists and doctors, rushing from room to room. The receptionist at the main counter looked to be the only person in the facility who wasn't in a race against time.

 

A hand reached up from the other side of the counter, as the receptionist gave a loud shriek. She cautiously looked back over the other side, to find that the hand whom placed the paper on her counter, belonged to a small child, probably no older than 13. He placed a large file on the top of the desk, and held out his hand as if expecting something.

 

"This isn't really a place for children." She said, partly laughing, as she reached for the documentation and quickly scanned over the papers. Her expression changed of mild-anger to silent surprise, as her mouth gaped open and she handed the soft-blonde boy a class schedule. As he walked toward his first class, you could hear her whispers to the other faculty.

 

Akio Ichiro, the child prodigy, begins his college career today.

You said the RP takes place in Japan, however you never specified where the characters are from. I just figured they were taken from all over the globe, considering this is an online game. :/ Looking into the manga a little, I find myself wrong. Anyway, I'll try again.

Age/Gender: 15/Male

 

Appearance: Lean, skinny body type. Stands around 5'9. Shortcut yet untidy black hair with an almost gaunt, bony face. His eyes seem a little moody, and are a dim blue. He usually wears simple black or white t-shirts with grey pants or jeans that fit him well. He wears glasses and rarely takes off his watch.

 

Personality [3 Sentences]: Isamu does okay in school, isn't very athletic, and although he is at times serious and calculating, he is an otherwise normal teenager. Still, he finds himself lying compulsively to even his friends, for no reason. This causes him to be a little self-conscious and careful when he speaks.

 

Bio [4 sentences]: When Isamu's father left his mother when he was younger, his mother broke down due to stress and was put into a hospital to recover. He was sent to live with his grandparents, who he grew very close with. These traumas did not affect much him growing up, however, but they did increase his interest in the human mind. Starting around the age of twelve, he began looking at various articles online about the mind and why it works, and this curiosity was what first got him into Rabbit Doubt.
