Shadow Zero
That's one of the more creative and long winded apps that I've seen. Accepted. I look forward to seeing what your character can do Tempest.
Crystal Remnants
I might join... IDK though. First, I've got some stuff to take care of...
Shadow Zero
Okay then, I'll take that as a 'spot reserved' post.
Jake the Sage
So Aether is . . . what? A type of species or something else?
Shadow Zero
It's a planet. Its native species are the Luminoth, a race that found the planet several millennia ago and made it their home. The current sentinel is a Luminoth named Illumina, or Lumina for short. Any other questions? Oh, and Aether is basically just the name I chose for the good guys app, that's all.
Jake the Sage
So you are either:1.) An Aether, a species of alien that are the good guys2.) The Darknes, the bad guys duh!OR3.) the humanoids which are the neutral people. Is that correct?
Shadow Zero
Aether is just the name for the ap as far as the app goes. You can have your character be whatever species you want. Basically. Yep.
Jake the Sage
Alright *thumbs up* So a dark force is attacking the multiverse and no one has a clue what is going on, except for you am I correct?
Shadow Zero
"Master of puppets pulling your striiings!" No, my character would not know either. It's better to start out that way. I as the rp master would though. lol I'm going to play that close to my chest until we get to the point where it is revealed though. >=3 And it's not a Multiverse, not really. Just different parallel universes that have taken many different paths. Meh, I would still need the multiverse to unify them. Very well, multiverse it is. (Finally made that decision. XD)
Jake the Sage
Actually multiverse is a term meaning just more than one universe- as its common definition. There is: the universe- a single dimensioncounter-earth- a parallel universethe microverse- a subpartical universethe macroverse- a superpartical universe And then there is the one above all universe- The Omniverse:The omniverse is the collection of every single universe, multiverse, dimension (alternate or pocket) and realm. This includes not only Marvel Comics, but also DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse, Archie, Harvey, and every universe ever mentioned or seen (and an infinite amount never mentioned or seen) including our own world. Everything is in the Omniverse, and there is only one Omniverse. "It includes every single literary, television show, movie, urban legend, universe, realm, etc. ever. It includes everyone from Popeye to Rocky Balboa to Ronald Reagan to Romeo and Juliet to Luke Skywalker to Snoopy to Jay and Silent Bob, Mickey Mouse, Harry Potter, etc."
Shadow Zero
Then Omniverse it is. By the way, are you joining?
Jake the Sage
No Shadow NO! Do NOT use the Multiverse as part of ANY rpg! EVER!!! That much chaos can hardly be contained at all. And yeah I think I might join >u>
Shadow Zero
Um...I said Omniverse? Or did you mean not to use that? >.>
Jake the Sage
I was just listing the universes that exist. But I never meant you to USE some of them- namely the Omniverse. Think about it. The Omniverse has EVERYONE that EVER existed. I know I don't think I can handle that many people at once. Do you? That is why I doubt it would EVER be a good idea to use the Omniverse for something . . .
Shadow Zero
But all of the universes would remain separate in the Omniverse, right? Besides, my original intent was for the war to encroach on all of creation. Can't very well do that if all of creation isn't named, now can I?
Jake the Sage
You could still do the multiverse, which would endager all of creation. but again I say, leave the omniverse alone
Sploda
@ShadowBasically with an Omniverse you'll have to deal with every Creator that has ever existed. What? My race dies once every 5000 years and is reborn 10 years later as a reincarnation.
Shadow Zero
The Muliverse would only be a single section of universes inside of the Multiverse though. And wait...are you saying that the Omniverse would have all of creation for the past present and future all at once?
Sploda
@ZeroYes because there is a universe for every decision you make. Each one reflecting the consequences.
~Oleon~
Name: Aex Age: 21 & 7. Apearance: (give a good description unless you are providing a picture) Bio: (at least five lines)Aex has split personalities. His main personality is a small child with a crystal Star Wand, retrieved by his father, the angels. His 'alter ego', also goes by the name of Aex, but shows a chaotic, uncontrollable side of him for when he grows older. Aex Jr. is a kind-hearted, tender child, which can go wild in battle. Aex Sr. is a brutal mastermind, who is lethal in battle in every way. Both personalities were designed as fighters, despite size. At times both personalities can be out at once, and peform a beatdown. Personality: (at east five lines)Both kid around for ages, and take pride in being with each other. The two Aexes love each other as brothers who fight in combat, but can easily get carried away with their true colours. Aex Sr. normally pushes his younger self away, wanting to take charge. Aex Jr. keenly listens to his older brother/'alter ego'/'split self' and does what he is told. However, this small wizard can easily overpower his older brother, but out of respect, he listens kindly. Powers/abilities: (not more then four) Flight - Considered a generic movement, flying is complicated in most ways. However, both personalities have mastered it and can blurr other allies/enemies vision with its pure speed. Darkness Infiltrate - Fighting like a hero, Aex masters the power that one of the Darkness would use, and can seep it into their body, and numb their body into not moving, if peformed successfully, open for any direct slash they require. Bloody Couldron - Aex peforms a wizardly-stunt, and pillars of blood spout from the ground, overpowering the enemy. This blinds them temporarily, making it easy to attack. Also, the pillars can do massive damage if they explode from beneath the enemy. Acidic Manouevere - Whilst using the power of flight, Aex controls his energy and focuses on one thing. Releasing his actual heart from his body, it brings out the other personality, and acidic armor covers them. Whilst like this, their weapon's power is doubled. Weapons: (not more then two) Successor Blade - The weapon of Aex Senior. Using this, he can divert any beam or ray of power shot at him, and deflect it at the enemy. The sword measures 8 Metres, requiring immense strength to hold. Slices any enemy pretty easily in two. Successor Star - The weapon of Aex Junior. Using this, he can divert any beam or ray of power shot at him, and deflect it at the enemy. Whilst weilding this Star, which is truly a Wand, he can summon any mythical being he requires to do battle.
Shadow Zero
Unfortunately, I don't have the Time to go through apps atm, so it's going to have to wait until tomorrow to go through American new ones. Until then, I am giving JAKE THE POWER TO ACCEPT apps.
Jake the Sage
Wait I haven't even JOINED yet (OoO) Oh well XD Alright ~Oleon~ I have looked through your app completely. For starters I'd like to say that the bio, sounds more like an add on to the personalities. Bio is history and should state their "shared" past; just to be clear. As for the powers I think flight can go without saying and the Acidic Manouevere sounds actually quite interesting [not to mention I'd personally want to see it in battle]. While Bloody Cauldron, in itselfs, appears to be not too overpowered with only blinding them temporarily and dealing massive damage if hitting your foe directly, and I mean come on . . . ANY attack'd do more damage if hit dead on, but I would actually like to see a con/negative side of this move. After all you state that the attack is ". . . pillars of blood spout from the ground . . ." and as such should take a lot out of your character. The only power I am not actually keen on having in this rpg would be the second one, Darkness Infiltrate. This is what I would call an OP'ed move because you state your characters mastered, meaning the move can be done easily, the powers of the Darkness. Since the move can be easily used and, as it says, stunns the opponent so they can't move- you will ALWAYS get an attack in. So that move I do not want, too much power, not enough con/negative. Speaking of having to tone things down, the weapons. "Can divert any beam or ray of power shot at him, and deflect it at the enemy" is just plain OP'ed by any book. So unless you change those I'd say try again
Jake the Sage
OK since I've been giving the ability to make decisions here I might as well finally put my app in: Sammael Ammon BezaleelAge: Unknown
Appearance:] Bio:Sammael's history is as much cloaded in mystery as the events currently escilating in the world around him. He first appeared within Washington D.C. during the begining of the outbreaks and has followed, or possibly lead, the spread of whatever is causing those normal minded citizens to turn violent. During his travels Sammael has been detained, tortured, and questioned over his purpose and part in the darkness. However he has managed to escape each time, only ever answering with a note left behind, "ניתן לנסות לפגוע כל, התוצאה הסופית היא מה קושר אותי לחשיכה . . ." Personality:One word can be used to describe nearly every aspect of Sammael: Cruel. He seemingly does not have a heart as he's willingly slaughtered innocents. Whenever he finds himself surrounded by people, either in battle or in their company, he remains silent and prefers to speak only on a need-be basis. Powers/Abilities:1.) Darkness-Having personal ties to the events causing people to become violent, Sammael is able to summon the very material for combat; he is also capable of using the anima for various other uses.2.) Teleporting- His main method of travel, though he has the ability to fly, Sammael is able to teleport anywhere his eyes can see. Yet these teleports can be "piggy backed" on if a person or object is close enough within range once he teleports.3.) Transformation- When not travelling or in combat, Sammael uses this power to change his physical appearance to that of another human; he is unable to become an animal or an inanimate object. While he is in this "transformed" state he can also alter his personality to further the illusion of being another person.4.) Dark Arts: Summoning- Opening a portal to another pocket dimension Sammael is more than capable to summon hordes of demons to do his bidding. Though the possability to summon an entire demon army is possible, the required time would ammount to an entirty of three days; this is without breaks or intermissions. Weapon(s):1.) Sealing Bands- Not wishing to reveal his "true nature", Sammael continuely wears two sealing bands in the form of black bands around his wrists. Though not a weapn per say, he can remove them and attack with far greater power than humanly possible.2.) Twin Hook Swords, Dou & Sei- Two chinese-style hook swords that are fashioned from some unknown material; though it has been shown to cut through a diamond. While both swords are used in unison during the fight, some have noted that one is primarily for attack while the other is used to parry and/or defend the weilder. ~Oleon~
Darkness Infiltrate - The personality that uses this move brings out their opposite, and they become into a being of Darkness, however whilst being pure inside, (on the side of good). Whilst being on both sides, their nature is uncontrollable and their strength becomes immense and brutal. Bloody Couldron - Aex peforms a wizardly-stunt, and pillars of blood spout from the ground, overpowering the enemy. This blinds them temporarily, making it easy to attack. Also, the pillars can do massive damage if they explode from beneath the enemy. The blood released from this comes from the blood in both of the personalities bodies. The brutal strength of this attack leaves them drained of stamina for a good few minutes. Bio/Past History - The two came from a genetics mixup. When Aex Jr. was born, something about his body was infiltrated. Aex Junior had two hearts. Looking as if things would be bleak for him in the future, the Doctors immediately peformed a genetical process to have it removed. During half of the operation, the power generator was shut down, but the heart was removed. One thin streak of stomach acid connected the two hearts, it was so thin it was unseeable. However, it left them connected. When the power generator was turned on, and the lights came back on, it was a man with long hair and stretched muscles lying down on the hospital bed, and the heart was gone. Not knowing what had happened, the Doctors went off for a status report. Now there was a link between the two hearts, and they could freely change their positions whenever they wanted. Later it was found that the mother's heart was missing, and she died. The heart she had had gone in the creation of Aex Junior, and he had his mother's heart. Successor Blade - The weapon of Aex Senior. Using this, he can filter the attack to eventually thin it to nothing. This can only be peformed if he has time to do it before the attack strikes. It measures eight feet in total, requiring a brute amount of strength to carry. It deals lethal damage like this, with a sharpened point to rip into any enemy. Successor Star - The weapon of Aex Junior. Using this, he can filter the attack to eventually thin it to nothing. This can only be peformed if he has time to do it before the attack strikes. It is simple to carry and can conjur a small spell to summon an object of his choice to help him.
Jake the Sage
Alright the Darkness Infiltrate is alot better, along with a good con/negative for the Bloody Cauldron. For the two weapons you made it pretty clear with enough distance they can negate any attack- rather have it decrease the attack until it couldn't seriously harm then. Finally the bio, though confusing, is alright I suppose. I'd say you can be in, but on a "probationary" status. Meaning you are in, but any mistakes and you hit the road. Now we wait for Shadow's opinion . . .
