You are running 15 monsters that are unplayable by themselves in opening hand.

That's more than a third of the Deck.

Although there are a lot of great Level 7+ Fairies' date=' it is necessary to slim it down.

On that note, Hecatrice : Valhalla is 1 : 1.

[/quote']

lolwut? no. it runs like a terraforming and field spell would. 1:2, or potentially 1:3

I disagree. Field Spells are very different things, and not all of them are game changing. Hecatrice is still perfectly viable as a monster (albeit below par), and Valhalla is arguably the most crucial card in the Deck. Every "fatty" is borderline useless without its ability to Special Summon, and if you could run 6, you probably would (well actually you probably wouldn't) but the fact that I can run 3, and put 3 more cards in that act as a 1500 ATK LIGHT Fairy that ensure any time I need Valhalla, I can get it, is okay with me.

Kristya + Valhalla in Opening can win games.

oh i see. you meant a 1:1 ratio, not 1-1 as specific numbers.

the conservative build on hec-val is 1-2, but if you're running a larger number of fatties and have a greater dependency, you can go to 2-2 or 2-3, yeah.

kristya+valhalla opening may be gamewinning, but topdecking a superfluous valhalla or hecatrice at a bad time can be gamelosing. playing it conservatively is usually better. but if youre running this many you really need 2-2, 1-3 or 2-3.

lets do some math!

with 15/40 cards in your deck being highlevel monsters, the chance of drawing one at any time is, of course, 15/40. roughly speaking of course.

the probability of drawing a starting hand consisting entirely of fat monsters is..

15/40 * 14/39 * 13/38 * 12/37 * 11/36 * 10/35

roughly.

which is..

.0013

low chance, but consider that the probability of getting any given starting hand is 1/40*1/39*etc= 3.618E-10. so several hundred possible hands consist entirely of fatties.

furthermore, the odds of getting 2 or 3 fatties in any given starting hand are pretty high. and thats pretty bad.

speaking of which, lets do the math on hands where you get at least one summonable monster in the beginning.

1- P(0), where P(0) is the probability of getting 0 normal summonable monsters.

/cracks knuckles

P(0) = (5c0)((40-5)c(6-0))/(40c6)

=(35c6)/(40c6)

=1623160/3838380

=.422

that means that 42% of the time, you will not draw a monster you can summon in your starting hand.

1-P(0) = .578

so about 58% of the time you will get at least one.

those.

odds.

blow.

so does my stats, but the numbers are about right i think.

so looking at your spells, i see mausoleums, terra, valhalla, tradein, hecatrice, etc. now i'm not running the numbers because i'm apathetic, but i would hazard a guess that all of these will only buff your chances of making a play involving a monster on your opening hand to like... 70-90% (keep in mind all of those are combination oriented). and even then, that's awful, because to make those plays you're paying out the ass for lifepoints or hand advantage (see mausoleum).

in short, this deck blows.

3 Archlord Kristya

1 Athena

1 Chaos Sorcerer

1 DAD

2 Darklord Asmodeus

2 Darklord Superbia

2 Darklord Zerato

2 Dimensional Alchemist

2 Hecatrice

1 PoC

2 Tethys

1 The Dark Creator

is what you have. you'll only ever need 1 superbia, so knock one off. asmodeus doesnt help enough to even be included. and kristya cycles herself so knock it to 2. and probably only one zerato.

that being said, try dark grepher, or armageddon knight. they help mill out your darks to where it's easier to recover them via athena/creator/coth.
