TAG
THE GAME. http://www.spike.com/blog/staying-alive-in/96901 It looks surprisingly fun, especially since this is based on a television show (and we all know how those turn out *glares at Superman 64*). The whole "fighting game, but you can kill your opponent pretty quick" thing reminds me a lot of "Bushido Blade," which was fairly well-reviewed. For $10, it comes with seven fighters from Season 1 (Apache, Knight, Spartan, Ninja, Viking, Samurai, and Pirate) and one from Season 2 (apparently, it's the Roman Centurion), five arenas, and room for potential DLC. It looks to be well worth the money. Discuss this based-on-a-tv-show-yet-somehow-potentially-not-suckish game.

No because modern day warriors would be broken as ****. Yes, it could. On the other hand, it's based on a television show.

Lazer Yoshi
Meh...I might download the demo. I never really liked games based off of TV shows - for the most part.

Well' date=' it's not like you don't have reason to. Video games based on tv shows and movies generally tend to not even qualify as toliet paper. Destructoid and Joystiq have previewed the game, and both have said that the game is surprisingly fun (the key word here is surprisingly). Granted it's just two people out of many more, but it's still something.

If it's good, then it's a pleasant surprise. If not, then no big deal since it's the expected outcome.
