Dark
Basically, discuss the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises. Imo, Guitar Hero has better gameplay and "extra" stuff, while Rock Band has a better setlist. But that is just me, and my taste in music. I only own two of these games (GH: WT and Band Hero), and I don't own any Rock Band games, but it's fun to pretend like you are playing a guitar or drummin'. Well, in terms of difficulties (I use the Beginner-Easy-Medium-Hard-Expert scale on Guitar Hero: World Tour), this is what I can do. Rock Band has a four-tiered difficulty, so I don't really know much about what I can do on that. Guitar: Hard on most, expert on some. I am not the best at alt strumming, but I can still consistently get 90%+.Bass: Medium on some, hard on most, expert on a select few. I have more experience with guitar, and stuff.Drums: ...no. Easy, and even then I fail shit too often.Vocals: Hard on most, and maybe expert if I really do amazing with the vocals. But I can get 95%+ on every song with hard. All I know is that Rock Band has an easier vocals system (or at least that's what I think), so I can do a lot more songs on expert. so liek discuz
Tentacruel
These games are cool, although I am a little skeptical to the new Green Day Rock Band.

Guest Random Dude
I'm good at both, I still think that RB is slightly harder because the neck buttons are kinda stiff and I'm used to GH's pop out buttons. When I think I'm pressing down on the RB guitar, I'm not.

Even when I played other GH games or RB I never went to hard. IMO RB is easier.

The transition from Medium to Hard is a dick because you either have to grow an abnormally large thumb or flip between 1-4 and 2-5 format.
EliminateHRN
We had the first three Guitar Hero games for PS2, and had them for a year or two. But then we got rid of them and got Rock Band for the Wii. We love RB so much better than GH. There's a lot of songs already on the setlist, and we also download songs as well. I bet we have almost 200 songs on Rock Band right now. I only play Guitar, but I can play Drums on easy.
Lazer Yoshi
I like to play Guitar Hero. I just hate how everyone's all like "YOU SUCK GET A REEL GUITAR LOLZ".
Night
At first guitar hero was like so awshum-like. But then you get rock band, and use the drums and then there's like no turning back.
Dark
I actually like Guitar Hero's gameplay over Rock Band's. But, that's just me. But as I said in the OP, Rock Band has such a better setlist. It makes me sadfaec. I just hate how everyone's all like "YOU SUCK GET A REEL GUITAR LOLZ". Only trolls on YouTube say that. Clair
I hate how the company that produces "Guitar Hero" (Activision?) is pumping out a new game every month now, it seems. But that's just me. As for playing, I suck at everything except Bass. *shot*

They made like an ACDC Guitar Hero and a Metallica one... so they are attempting to attract more people. And I don't really care, I just buy the mainstream games. :D Bass is harder than Guitar. Well, for most songs Guitar is "harder". But you don't have to no-note strum in Guitar (forgot what it is called).
