- black garden

+ hand destruction

+ryko

-oricalcos

Reasons why?

I agree with him, more or less. See, the problem with Geminis + Shunoros is that the former are trying to become Effect Monsters as quickly as possible, while the latter works with Normal Monsters. Not only does that impede the summoning of Shunoros, it also means those monsters aren't protected by his effect. Now I'm not saying that it's bad to include Shunoros, but that he needs to be used more sparingly. And...Ryko is Ryko.

As for Black Garden, your deck doesn't rely on it too much. I'm not sure if Hand Destruction is what you want to include - I was thinking maybe Heavy Storm/Giant Trunade - and then I noticed you already have Trunade. How did I miss that? Anyway, Hand Destruction would probably be better if you had more monsters, since that's usually what you want to discard with it. Now that I think about it, you could neg Black Garden and put in another monster, like Evocator Chevalier, perhaps? On the other hand, you'd have no use for its effect, so you could just replace it with a real Vanilla instead, and make it an Allure target, too. So then...Mad Dog of Darkness/Archfiend Soldier (one of those has more DEF).

I only use them as effect monsters when I need them to be. I can choose whether to make them effect monsters or not. So if I summon Shunoros to the field I can protect the gemini monsters that aren't effect monsters with his effect. I'll neg one though for Ryko, because I can't always rely on Shunoros and I get him to my hand more often than I get the geminis that I need.

Actually it does, it's needed for Shunoros as Tokens get summoned to their field when I summon and although it kind of conflicts with Shunoros' effect I can always Trunade it, or set another Black Rose Garden to get rid of the field and wait for my opponent to attack.

Why Saggi? Do you not have any other DARK Normal Monsters?

And did you have Terraforming in there before?

Yeah. It's the only normal monster I have lol. Thought it might help with getting Black Rose out to nuke the field. Plus it's an allure target.

Yes. I had it in there before.
