It costs equal to the amount of days you set. So 10 points, which you have sent. However, you will not get any outside rare candies

Actually if you have a pokemon that has a LV20 or higher, you can adopt more pokemon

10 days in dojo without RCs = 20 levels.

10 days WITH RCs = 50 levels.

So I'll keep dojo with Gallade, but I'm cancelling it tommorrow.
