Irrelevant Objects of Power [ADV / Started][Accepting via OOC]

Deck stood watching the others, waiting for his chance.

Why aren't you doing anything? A strange voice echoed in his head. Deck looked around not knowing where the voice came from, when he couldn't see anything. He went back to watching.

Why aren't you doing anything? The voice repeated.

"Okay... Who's saying that?" Deck asked turning his head to see who was speaking.

I am not behind you boy. The voice sighed, Look down.

Deck did so and saw that the feathers he had were glowing slightly.

"Oh. So you're in there."

Why aren't you doing anything? The voice of Deck's yokai asked for the third time. Deck held the feathers up before his face.

"There's no need to go fast. If you rush then things go wrong."

You are wise beyond your years, it seems. The yokai said, Very well. We shall wait for the correct time. Just remember that waiting is not always the best solution.

The glow of the feathers subsided until you could barely see it. But it was still there, as if the yokai was falling asleep.

"sheet, I almost pissed myself, woman. That was really scary you know. Anyways, we are supposed the enter the door, then let's go."

Sam stood up, he removed the claw from his right and carried the 2 toys into the room closest to him.

 

What? You removed the claw? This'll take weeks to get it back on, we were halfway there already! Byakko growled.

 

"Yeah, yeah. You just wait, damn pussycat."

Once entered the door behind Sam closed.

"Un-huh, that's just great, she is forcing me to join with you. Okay, okay, let's do this." Sam said while putting the claw on his right hand.

"So, what's gonna happen when I put the other on?"

 

Normally you should be able to do something already with only one claw on. But by judging how you look and act, I'd say that it could take months before you understand it with only one claw.

 

"That's great, just great. I really appreciate that you are helping my so well."

Sam then placed the other claw on his left hand.

Instantaneously a light shined upon Sam, he stretch his right arm. His hand was transforming in a claw of some sort, no toys anymore. It was also slightly covered with white fur. The moment his right hand was fully transformed, he stretch his left arm, and the same thing happened with his left hand.

The light vanished and he was left with a pair of strong claws on both of his hands.

"Oh, my head. Hurts. Pain." Sam mumbled.

 

Finally! A bit longer and I went insane. Let's go, little boy!

Rayge nodded to Ho-o, calmly making his way towards the door opposite the one which Sam had entered. He calmly removed the hammer from the tool loop upon his pants once more. He reached the door in a few steps, turning his head to look back at the others, before continuing into the room. The door closed behind him, leaving him in semi-darkness. He sighed quietly, holding the hammer up in front of himself once more.

 

"So...I'll have to harmonize with you then, Raijin. How exactly do I do that?" Rayge inquired, being answered shortly once more by the rough voice of the lightning god in his head.

 

"It's simple really, just close your eyes and let the power surge through your body." The reply came, sounding eager for Rayge to unleash the power of the Yokai he carried. The young man sighed quietly, closing his eyes and bringing both of his hands up to grip the shaft of the hammer. A few moments later, the entire shrine was rocked as the sound of a thunder clap exploded from within Rayge's room. Inside the room itself, Rayge's small hammer had transformed into a massive War Hammer, from which lightning leapt off in all directions. The young man's dark brown eyes had become orbs of electricity, small bolts lancing off in every direction from them. For now, it seemed he was waiting for something. That, or he was deciding how best to tear his way out of that chamber.

Britney let her wings spread out widely, Her eyes were darting from left to right, Watching everyone utilize their Yokai but hers was yet to be realized, It was like she had nothing important about her Yokai. "Well theirs not much to do right now, Maybe if i focus hard enough it could work" . Britney whispered quietly to herself, As she began focusing on her tattoo and her wings, She felt like their was something happening that was really important. Suddenly, She opened her eyes and looked down, Right their was a portal, Swirling on the ground, She couldn't see what was inside but she back slowly away, And then the portal shut as fast as it came.

Ho-o noticed Britney, oddly not noticing her before, ya, know, because of the wings. Kinda hard to miss that. She took several steps to stand by Britney, putting her hands on her shoulders as if howing off Britney. 'Everyone, I would like to introduce you to Britney. Her yokai is the Doji, and she is the one who is going to be saving your sorry butts many times. Whilst she seems unimportant, she has the power to create portals with the yokai worlds and earth, thus allowing easy travel' she explained.

"Well looks like im going to be the one that's gunna get killed first cause im so important" . Britney said a bit terrified, But a little happy about it. Her eyes were looking around the room ,trying to meet everyone else's emotions. Her wings were semi-folded in, She had pulled them slightly away so she wouldn't hitting Ho-o with them. "Ok so basically im just the taxi cab between both worlds, So that means im going to be very important so dont piss me off or i will shut that portal while your halfway through" . Britney told everyone, Her arms crossed across her chest, Her face happy making her look like her head and her body were mismatched.

Heikichi noticed the girl that Ho-o designated as special due to her abilities. She responded a little worried, but somehow sarcastic at the same time. Heikichi's hormones raged through his body and inflated his already very large ego.

 

"Don't worry! Once I learn how to use my new superpowers, I'll blast the fools who try to get close to ya and send them back to their mothers with their heads up their butts! They won't know what hit them, then, they won't know where they are!" Heikichi said with a boastful voice, doing some boxing with an invisible opponent, finishing with a dramatic uppercut.

Britney giggled at Heikichi, It was only two minutes and she already had her own personal bodyguard. "Well whataya know, Im definitely not closing my portal on you, Especially cause if i do your gunna whack me with your hammer or something along those lines" . Britney said, Curious on what she meant by 'Something Along Those Lines', Even though she said it she had no clue on what she meant about it at all. "Ok so when are we doing this whole, Whatever were doing" . Britney asked Ho-o, As she wasn't paying attention to any of the words on what she said a few moments ago.

OOC: Heikichi has Suijin

 

Ho-o watched the humans act, their actons always interested her, for there were so many different tpes of humans to observe, including.....Ho-o had forgotten that important detail, but a new feeling overtook her. A new item had activated and she would have to send her bird form to collect him. Ho-o closer her eyes and collapsed onto the floor, startlin everyone.

 

On earth, Ho-o burst through a portal and flew straight for December's abode. She easily made it though security and into the house. Finding the boy quickly with the helmet. She let loose a short song and encircled the boy, vanishing him in the same column of light used for the others.

 

At the temble, Ho-o awoke and brushed herself off. December appeared by her side in a bright light. 'Forgive that' she said to the humans. 'I did not mean to startle you if I did so' she added.

I do not think we should wait any longer Declan, you should try and utilise my powers. The yokai said into Deck's mind.

"How do you know my name? I never said it to you." Deck asked his yokai.

I am speaking to you inside your own mind. Knowing your name is almost a necessity.

Deck thought about this for a second. This whole situation was confusing to him, but he thought he understood the basics.

"Ok then. So if you know my name what's your's?"

I have many names as do most of the others, but you may call me Suzaku.

"Ok then Suzaku. How do I use your powers?"

I believe all you have to do is concentrate on doing so. But I would suggest removing your makeshift necklace, it may help.

 

"Okay then." Deck said as he removed the feathers from around his neck. He held the feathers in his hand and closed his eyes focusing on using the power. He felt the air around him get warmer, very warm in fact. He opened his eyes to see what had happened. The feathers had been glowing, but now they seemed to lose their shine.

Concentrate fully. Focus on making fire.

Deck closed hiseyes once again and clenched his fists. He only though about using the powers, and the glowing feathers in his hand. The air was just as warm as it had been before and was getting warmer. Then his fists exploded in heat. Deck opened his eyes in shock. The first sight that hit him was his hands were on fire and the feathers had disappeared from his makeshift necklace.

 

"What the?! I can control fire?" Deck shouted.

Yes you can! It feels good to spread my wings! Even if they are noncorporeal flames! Suzaku shouted to Deck.

"Okay, but where have the feathers gone?" Deck wondered.

It seemed that Rayge had reached a sort of breaking point. No longer able to control himself, he turned about to face the door of the room in which he had entered. He brought the War Hammer back above his head, holding it there a few moments, before slamming it hard and fast into the inside of the door with another sound exactly like a thunderclap in both sound and volume. Regardless of what material the door had been constructed from, it was unlikely that it would withstand many more strikes of that nature. Outside, the door bulged outward from the force of the strike and it was very likely the others would have heard the sound. Rayge was now bringing the War Hammer back up above his head for another strike, perhaps now the constant sound of electricity lancing off from the hammer into the air could be heard by those outside. If anyone wanted to prevent his breaking out while harmonized with Raijin, they would have to act very quickly.

"Looks like the I'm the only gi-" It was then Ho-o introduced Briteny. She wondered how did she over look her, but smiled and waved in her direction. Rey listened to Ho-o when she introduced Britney and her power. "Looks like she's important. Probably more so than most of us..."

Also I have some issues at home so I won't be able to post everyday. I'll rarely be on, until about August 20th. So when ever Zelda gets on he'll probably post for me....I think thats it....

Sam was moving a such a fast rate that it almost looked like he was teleporting, jumping from wall to wall scratching everything.

There were also 2 sound coming out of Sam's mouth, one could be recognized as his own voice, screaming for help. While the other was that of a wild animal growling.

Unconsciously he started to cry, tears were running down his face.

The color of his eyes changed as well, from a light blue to green.

It was obvious that Sam was no longer... Sam. Rampaging all over the room, trying to destroy everything on sight.
