He hopped out of his bed, Tempest landing on his shoulder. Kaze had returned to almost full health. So he headed out in search of his classmates. Eventualy, Kaze found them tinkering with some sort of machine. "Hey, guys," he said. "What's up?" EDIT: Byakuya says Yotoro does the same as Kaze.
