He also knew his opoonent was using Evil Heros thinking Well it seems like this will be interesting to be in a duel between hero against hero based deck types.

A sudden craze for duels swept the area as the first duel had led to more and more battles around the area. Granyt looked from the top of the museum his arms still crossed. He began to say the attributes of each world as he saw their appropriate citizens. " Fire, Wind, Light, Earth..and the only Nox is the one dueling." "Hey You!", said a grunty voice from behind. Granyt turned his head slightly and saw to his left but still behind him 2 men in black with black duel disks and bandanas. "Give us that shiny rock you got on your belt or else!"

 

"Speak of the devil, Nox". Granyt thought. Granyt took the blue Quartz off his belt and placed it into a gap in his duel disk, the duel disk suddenly glowed blue and white as it activated. Granyt turned and faced the 2 men. "let's see what you know".

"Hey, two against one isn't really fair." Akio walked towards Granyt and activated his duel disk. "How about something a bit different. I'm not up for a tag duel, those are boring, so we'll each take one. And to make it more interesting, if you duel me, loser dies." Akio smiled, awaiting for the opponent's decision. He wasn't much of a sinister person, but something about the stone made him act a bit differently.

Granyt looked confused by the statement of the kid. "What's with this kid", he thought.

 

"Suit yourself but i'll say it once were not a team in this understood?."

 

Turned to his Nox opponent and smirked.

 

"Anyway what's your name kid? And what planet are you from." Directing his question at the kid.

"Call me Akio. I'm from Aquarios." Akio drew his openning hand of five cards. "Do you want to go 2 versus 2? Make your mind up quickly."

 

Akio stared at the two men in front of them. They seemed a bit dark, but Akio could be darker. For some odd reason, Akio had an extremely strange craving for murder. He blamed the stone, but he didn't know what affect it had on him. He still had his intelligence, he was just darker.

"Hmph. ill take the one on the left then." Granyt stated in an unpleased tone. Granyt pointed his left arm and duel disk into the air still facing his opponent. "Duel"

"It's about time!", the opponent called as he drew 5 cards.

"Aquarius...", Granyt thought as he drew 5 cards. "I'm first, Draw."

 

"I play, Quartz Guardian". A big Quartz defender with giant sheilds appeared. "And now if i discard 1 card from my hand, i can switch him to Defense Position and have the summon treated as a Special Summon." ((the display revealed the defender had 2200 DEF.))

 

"What!" Questioned the opponent.

 

"And now i activate the effect of Quartz diamond in my hand, if i special Summon a "Quartz" monster from my hand i can discard him to the Graveyard." Granyt discards a card to the Graveyard. "Now i set 1 card face down, and end my turn."
