I'm talking music that is good no matter how long it's been (not just Rock from the Sixties and Seventies). Here's some examples:

Led Zeppelin

Dire Straits

Pink Floyd

Metallica

Alan Parsons Project

Rush

Jimi Hendrix Experience

Van Halen

Deep Purple

Dio

Rainbow

Def Leopard

Poison

Guns 'n Roses

ect

(ironically, I didn't put stuff from after the eighties...)

Discuss this awesome schtuffz

The bolded is stuff my family listens to (as do I). I grew up listening to a lot of those bands. Funny thing is, a lot of these bands were big before my parents were born. It's good music though.

The bolded bands are the bands I like a lot. Metallica is ok. The rest of the bands are either bad or I've never heard. However I must say Jimi Hendrix is really good with the guitar.

Guns and Roses..Bleh! I don't like them.

But this is my opinion.

Alan Parsons Project

Rush

Jimi Hendrix Experience

Dio

Deep Purple (which leads into...

Rainbow

I love how you said no 60's or 70's and yet a vast majority of the bands you said were big in the 60's and 70's

[spoiler=also] Prism.jpg

I said that it wasn't necessarily music from the 60's and 70's that made them classics. That's just how it ended up (I was doing the list from the top of my head)

And Wish You Where Here was better

I've forgot to put in jimi hendrix, his songs are not the best, but I like his guitar skills.
