Soul Eater: Trials of a Strong Soul (STARTED!!! STILL ACCEPTING ON PLANNING THREAD!!)

After a while Stein finally walked into the classroom. He looked around at all of the students and put on a light smile. "Good to see all of you are coming along well after the fight with the Keshin. Classes are cancelled today due to Sid being on a mission and me having today off. However..." he eyes then glanced over to Jak and Leon. "Lord Death wants to see you two in the Death Room." he stated. "You two follow me, the rest of you are dimissed."

Leon smirked. "Yes, finally Lord Death wants to see us!"

 

Jak and Leon both got up and walked out of the classroom and headed to the Death Room. When they entered, Jak looked at Lord Death. "Yes Lord Death, you wanted to see us, sir?" he asked.

Sayori sighed walking down a hallway at DWMA. She had been in several different rooms and not one of them was the classroom she was supposed to be in. "I can't believe I got lost...Again."

 

Luna laughed skipping next to Sayori. "Maybe you should've asked for directions Big sis."

 

"I am perfectly capible of locating the classroom." Luna only shrugged. "What ever you say." Sayori's eye twitched knowing that tone very well. It wa only a matter of seconds bfore Luna reminded her of something stupid she did.

 

"Need I remind you of the time we got lost....At a park?" Sayori deadpanned remembering her stupidity. "Ok, so my sense of direction is something to brag about. And that park was very confusing!" Sayori yelled in her defence and stomped off Luna laughing behind her.

Once the two students had entered the Death Room the grim reaper greated them in his usual fashion. "Hey you two! How ya doin? What's up? Good to see ya! I hear from my son Kid that you two would like to see some more action is that right?" he said remembering Kid's words about how the new students wanted better missions.

"See?" Soul said to Maka as they walked down the hall with Kid, Liz and Patty, a slight undertone of annoyance in his voice. "You got all worked up for nothing." Maka shot her partner a dirty look in return.

"Maybe, but I wonder what Lord Death wants with those two new students. Kid, do you have any idea?" But before the reaper could respond, Soul decided to ask a question of his own.

"Forget that," he interjected, placing his hands in the front pocket of his sweatshirt. "Where are Black Star and Tsubaki? I haven't seen them all day."

Kid was so depressed from the asymmetric time that Maka and Soul had been late he didn't respond to the call that class was dismissed, and he barely heard Maka's question over his own depression. Liz and Patty had to intercept if he was to get up now.

"Come on Kid! It's just a number of minutes. It's not something that you could possibly control or make symmetric!" Liz said. Kid was unresponsive and continued to lay flat on the desk.

"At least you're symmetric Kid!" Patty said. Kid perked up.

"I am?" Kid said desperately.

"Yeah, she's right! You're most symmetric guy ever. No need to worry about the time, you more than make up for it!" Liz said giving a thumbs up.

 

"You're right! I more than make up for Maka and Soul's grievous time blunder! Alright then!!!! .........What were we talking about?" Kid asked. Liz practically fell down at the question

"Maka asked you about the newer students being called to Lord Death!" Liz said.

"Oh right." Kid said adjusting his tie. "I brought that up to my father not too long ago. A few of the newer students have wanted bigger roles and missions here. Father must be talking with them about it now." Kid said. After he finished he went back to being completely oblivious in his happiness about being so symmetric. Liz then had to respond to Soul's question.

"We haven't seen Black Star or Tsubaki around all day and we've been going around all of the DWMA this morning for Kid." Liz said.

"It was fun! It was like taking the first tour all over again!" Patty chimed in.

After who knows how long Sayori finally came to the classroom door. There were some other kids in it but there was no teacher. "Please don't tell me that I missed the whole class!" She yelled her hands flying to her hair. "Geez my first day here and I'm already a skipper!!" Sayori went off into a corner a dark cloud over her head leaving Luna standing at the door alone. "Um...Anyway, hi."

At this, Soul raised both his eyebrows and cast a lazy glance towards the three. "You guys actually took a tour?" He questioned curiously. "When? The first day you came, they left with Lord Death after you fought Black Star and I." Soul's shudder was so small that no one saw it. That blast from Kid's Death Cannon still lingered in his memory. "Anyway," he vocalized. "Whaddaya guys want to do now? We don't have any school today, so the rest of the day's completely free." Of course, Maka was either going to read or study. Like always.

Hiro was just walking out of class when he saw a new girl rushing towards the classroom.

"Hi'ya new commer.I'm guessing you were late today too.Ah don't worry classes were canceled."Hiro smiled secretly.

"Anyway I'm Hiro.Sorry I've got to go to Excalibur's 5 hour lecture today.Hey do you whant to come too.There's nothing to do all day anyway."

"Yeah, maybe if thats not to hard for you." Leon said sarcastically.

 

Jak looked at Leon and knew that Lord Death was going to give him the famous, Reaper Chop, for saying something like that.

Seth ignoring everyone and walked to a epmty seat,"you should atleast let me kill one person...they look untrained...some lookl like they don't know what they're doing"

 

"Phobia when will you get it through your thick head?, your not going to kill anyone here." Seth layed his head down on the desk.

 

"You really think you can stop me?...sorry to tell you but your wrong I will get out...so I'll just wait for that time again"

"Tenka transform I'm gonna kill that pale rat," Red said annoyed of Excalibur's endless talking. "Today's one day I'd rather hear Sid blabber on about nothing."

"Red you know we wouldn't stand a chance against "The Holy Sword"," even Tenka couldn't hide the fact even though Red was easily one of the best 1 star Meisters in the school Excalibur was easily too powerful for any of the students to handle.

"Well I could give two shits as long as he is separated from his partner he can't do anything," he said then he noticed Stein talking to Jak and Leon. They left the room and Red seemed super annoyed. "Why does Lord Death wanna see them," he was about to go and leave to follow until Tenka stopped him.

"We'll get our time to shine, Red," Tenka said, "But, until then we sit still." Red sat down annoyed with Tenka's logic.

"We better," Red said propping his feet onto to his desk.

Sayori sighed in reliefe and looked at Hiro. "Thank god! I thought I skipped my first class, and that is not a good first impression. Anyway, I'm Sayori and this is Luna." Sayori pointed over to Luna who waved slightly with a small smile. "Sure we don't mind coming with you, it's better that attempting to find out how to get out of here." She then got close putting her hand on the side of her mouth. "Between you and me, my sense of direction is....Uh, well leaves much to be desired."

[Dranzer]

"That's funny your looks and aditude remind me of Marie-sensei."She's realy nice and I bet you two will like eachother."

"BAKA.You should have chalanged those two Tenka and Red.They were looking for a fight."

"Well it wouldn't be very polite to chalange someone while talking to a lady.By the way where are you two from?I think I've heard your name before Sayori."

*Excalibur jumped on the table and started blabering*

"My legend began in the 12th century he started."

"Ah this should be fun Hiro smurched."

"It's no wonder you probably heard my name before. My full name is Sayori Kashino, of the Kashino Estate. I was originally born in Japan, but we have houses in every continent....Except Antartica....Too cold, and not that many visitors." Sayori answered watching the boy Hiro was talking to jumped on a table and started talking. "So, I take it you're the Meister and that guy is your weapon." She said taking a wild guess before motioning towards Luna to introduce herself.

 

"Well, it's nice that you remember me back here big sis." Luna smiled, then gave a short bow to Hiro. "I'm Luna Mizano her little sister and her keeper."

 

Sayori blushed. "Hey! You're not my keeper!"

 

"Whatever helps you sleep at night big sis." Luna giggled waving Sayori off with a wave of her small hand.

Death looked at the two eager meisters and cocked his head sideways. "Well then if you two want to see some more action that's all fine and good, however i'll first have to see if you two are capable of standing up to challenges on your own. This is why i set up a little exhabition match for you two."

 

Elsewhere Stein was heading towards the Death Room himself. He was curious to see what Lord Death wanted to see him about. "I wonder what could be so important that he just randomly called for me like this." he thought alound as he reached the room and stepped inside.

Jak looked at Lord Death and asked,"How do you want us to prove ourselves?"

 

"Are you that dumb, Jak?" Leon asked. "He wants us either to fight him, or fight someone strong like Maka and the others."

 

"Unless he wants us to fight Stein-Hakase." Jak said.

[Andx]

"Patty, getting lost on like our second or third day here and wandering around everywhere didn't count as a tour." Liz said in response to Patty's comment and Soul's question about it.

"Really? I thought that's what we were doing. So that wasn't a tour?" Patty said.

"No, I already told you that." Liz said. Patty just laughed at the idea that they had been lost as opposed to having taken a tour.

 

Soul questioned the group as to what they wanted to do. Each person probably had different ideas in their heads so everyone knew this was going to end wonderfully. Kid was the first to speak up. Odd since he had been so caught up in how symmetrical he was a moment ago.

"I can't say I know what I'd want to do today. I don't do my routine symmetry check of my home until after school usually so unless I do that now I have nothing planned." Kid said.

"Well, we have the whole day for once so... it's time for facials! Beauty day! Come on! Patty, Maka! Let's go have some fun!" Liz said beginning to push Maka along with her and Patty.

"I had a feeling that was coming up. Anything you'd care to do Soul? If you speak up quickly I can stop the girls from leaving." Kid said.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Maka protested as she and Patty were pushed by the overzealous Liz. Since they had the rest of the day off, she had decided to finish this really good book that Soul had recommended to her (As crazy as it sounded, even he read sometimes). "Please, Liz, I'm really not in the mood. I just want to read! Let me go!"

 

"I dunno..." Soul shrugged in response to Kid's question as he watched his meister be dragged off by Liz. Then he got an idea. "Hey!" he said in a slightly less aloof voice. "I'm in the mood for some souls, you want to see if there's a mission? It'll at least kill some time, and Liz, Patty and I will be a step closer to being death scythes."

"Excellent idea Soul! If the day's going to be boring then we might as well have see some action. Liz, Patty, stop pushing Maka off to get facials and start pushing her off to go get a mission." Kid said. He began walking out with them. Liz seemed slightly annoyed that her plans had been altered like that for her. Anyone else probably would have refused, but Liz knew that her not going with Kid on a mission was likely to end up in Kid's and Patty's deaths. It wasn't something she cared to be responsible for. Patty on the other hand seemed fine with whatever was decided for her. She would have enjoyed the beauty day, but fighting was just as good.

 

"Right then, come on Maka we're going for missions." Liz said. Though she didn't push Maka this time. Liz reached the door to the class first and opened it up for everyone else to pass through.

"Think we should look for Black Star before leaving? As annoying as he'll be on the mission I can only imagine he'd be even more annoying tomorrow if he found out we went on missions without him." Kid said.

"Well it seems you two are eager to see who your challenger is." Suddenly Lord Death noticed a new figure enter the Death Room.

 

"You wanted to see me Lord Death?" Stein asked upon entering the room.

 

"Ah Stein! How ya doin? What's good? And yes i did ask to see you. It appears some of our newer students want to "up their game" and take on higher missions. But first we need to test their abilities and see if they're capable of such things." Stein turned to face the two students and smiled manicly.

 

"So you basicly want me to beat the crap out of them. Is that what you're saying?" he said turning the screw in his head with another crank. Lord Death sweatdropped.

 

"Well not to that extreme....." he said unsure. Stein smiled and turned back to the grim reaper.

 

I would but i'm still not 100% after the fight with Medusa. However i think i know a suitable opponent for them." he said with a sinister smile.

"While that maybe true," Maka said as she walked through the door. "We don't know exactly where he is, and, knowing him, he'll probably decide to charge after us after he sees that we took a mission without him. And that's assuming that he comes in today."

"Besides," Soul added, walking in after Maka. "It's not that often that we get a mission involving more than one soul. Take into account the fact that Kid'll insist that the four weapons'll have to divide the souls evenly, and there aren't many enemies other than witches that can hold a candle to a trio of two-star meisters and their weapons. Still..." he paused, weighing the pros and the cons. "Having Black Star around would be cooler than not. Why not? Let's look for him and Tsubaki. Where do you think he'd be? If you already searched the Academy for him, he's not likely to be here."

"Hmm day off," Red began to think of all the possibility of what him and Tenka could do today.

"Maybe we should take on a mission like Soul, Kid and the rest of them," Tenka suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea," Red looked at Tenka with a smile. The duo walked into the hallway and walked up to the mission bored. "Lets see what mission sounds the hardest," Red was excited now which was a bad sign.

"Don't you think we should take on a mission fro 1 star Meister's and Weapons?" Tenka asked.

"No way," Red said, "How about this "Which needs Slaying"?"

"It says that the which is guarded by at least three Evil Humans," Tenka read the parchment, "You think we can take on this mission by ourselves."

"Heck yah," Red picked up the tablet and signed himself and Tenka up for the mission. "So, now we wait for mission briefing," finished Red.
