I guess I'll look into Paper Mario. I don't particularly care for Mario Kart.

Haven't played a Kirby game other than Crystal Shards' date=' but I want Epic Yarn.

I loved Crystal Shards.

Oh, and Roxas, they're making a new Kingdom Hearts game for the 3DS. (It's not Re: Coded)

PORTAL 2 for PS3!

"EXCLUSIVE" STOLEN b****es.

PS3 getting Portal was nice for them. But as you said it's not a realy exclusive since it's on the PC.

So my thoughts on Sony's showing.

So, Sony has taken shots at both the 360 and Wii. The 360 was at them not having a controller which means no buttons. That is well founded since it can limit game play. The shot at the Wii was how it doesn't capture depth movement, like the pull back on a punch. This is isn't as good since depth isn't that important, especially for something like a punch.

Sorcery looks cool, but it looks like something that easily could have worked for the Wii. The crossover title (Heroes on the Move) also looks cool.

I love what Sony said about the PSP. They think it's doing amazing even with the DS doing twice as good.

So far Sony's E3 has been meh. It has nice things, but nothing that makes you go "WOW!".

And with it almost over the only really big thing is Twisted Metal returning and Portal going on the PS3. Everything else we either knew was coming or wasn't that huge.

So, I'm calling Nintendo the winner.

Imo, and my opinion only: Microsoft > Nintendo > EA > Ubisoft > Sony, this year. Sony were disappointing and I expected a lot better. Microsoft's only got what it did because of Black Ops and Reach. Nintendo had some AMAZING titles announced, 3DS is amazing, Mario Kart & Paper Mario, 007 Goldeneye & Legend of Zelda all announced. Good year this year.

Crysis 2 looks awesome btw.

We've known about Black Ops and Reach for the longest time. I don't see how those put Microsoft over the top.

I also love how much Microsoft cares about Black Ops when it's on all systems.

For me Nintendo > Sony > Microsoft. E3 is all about the games and Nintendo brought a lot of new AAA titles. Add on all the other stuff we've been learning about 3DS that puts them over the top. Sony did good, but didn't have anything special side from getting Portal 2 and Twisted Metal. Microsoft spent to much time talking about Kinect. Yea the tech is important, but from what I've heard they spent to much time on it.

We finally got full gameplay footage and a demo for Black Ops. I'm a massive Treyarch fan, and an even bigger Call of Duty fan, so this was massive for me. It was brilliant to see what Treyarch had done and I can't wait. Same goes for Reach, although I had played the beta it was cool to see some of the campaign. I also followed Fable 2, and although it was disappointing I was glad to see Fable 3. Gears of War is always great fun for me so I look forward to 3 and that was shown as well, good to see some footage on that also. Forza 4 looks quite innovating, if a bit silly as does most of Kinect. Kinect's features are quite stunning though, I was surprised at the amount of features and everything it can do.

"from what I've heard" ... please don't rate it if you didn't watch it. >_>

To each theor own. I just wanted to know why those games put it over the top.

I don't want to watch a 2 hour confrence for things that don't really interest me, so I've only based it on what I've read and seen on G4. From that it didn't look like they had a lot. As you said it comes down to Ops, Reach, Gear and Fabled 3, Kinect and it's games, and Slim. Over all unless your really into those games, as you said you are, that isn't a lot. And, in my eyes, it's only made less when more we knew about most of those games.

FYI, I'm doing the same thing for Ninentdo since I only saw the tail end of it.

Yup, I agree with you. But it was top for me because of my personal bias regarding those games. I also thought Nintendo's was very successful and there's a lot for me to look forward to now. As previously said: Mario Kart 3D, Paper Mario 3D, Animal Crossing 3D, Pokémon Black & White, 007 Goldeneye: Wii and Legend of Zelda are now definite buys for me.

Screenshots make it look like it will be Re:coded, but I'll wait to see if I'm wrong.

Isn't Re: Coded on the DS though? Not the 3DS?

Even though I pretty much know Nintendo won, my extreme nostalgic love and just love in general for some of the games really took my vote. (Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Kirby)

Eh' date=' kind of being a buzzkill to all the 3DS fans, but what exactly did Sony bring to the theatre this year?

[/quote']

Twisted Metal returning and Portal going on the PS3 are the high lights.

Side from that it's them talking about 3D gaming, the Move, acting like their the best, saying the PSP is the best and how they are going to start pushing it again, and just showing off all the games they have coming. I think that covers it.

My only problem with the new Zelda look is that it doesn't look as twisted' date=' dark, and clever as Majora's Mask. Gameplay looks awesome, though.

That's what happens Twilight Princess and Wind Waker have sex together.

I hope it has some tie in with MM, but I doubt that'll happen. The gameplay seems amazing, especially that bug transport item. The graphics look nice, but nowhere near as dark as I would like.

Dark is nice' date=' but I think the Wii games look best when it is bright. But that is just me.

[/quote']

But all bright games for the Wii would be stupid. :/ Dark games every now and then won't hurt, and dark works well with Zelda.

I know, I'm just saying what the Wii does best.

Epic Mickey looks dark and Zelda should have some dark parts.

Zelda is dark. Everything except the Toon Link ones have major dark parts. Except for maybe the first two, I never got around to beating them.

Epic Mikey is anything but dark' date=' in my opinion.

Toon Link Games = Happy.

Link Games = Dark.

[/quote']

How true. And since this seems to be a mix, who knows how dark it will be? I hope it can compare to Majora dark.

Stop talking about me. I've heard "Dark" so many damn times. Even though it's grammatically correct to capitalize the "D" in "dark" if you start a sentence, don't. 'Cause that's my name. <3

them talking about 3D gaming

So Sony pretty much copied the Wii with Move and now the 3DS with 3D.

...wow.
