Toonami has been gone for a long while and its Toonami Jetstream only deals U.S. computers. So I'm Starting a petition to bring back Toonami to everyone. I'm not letting Tom and co. go without a fight. So let your voice be heard fans and Stay Gold.

IDK how many of you like watching anime or reading about it; (not against mangas and English Sub vids) but i prefer to watch my fave animes in color and english translations. So how about it Faithfuls lets bring back Tom and crew and all our fave animes. Watching Toonami was fun and entertaining, Tom was first too interact with his audience, and I appreciate that we can relate. Toonami has shared a strong bond with us and other fans on Youtube know this too. So lets bring Tom back to us! Dont forget to vote and give CN your opinion why Toonami should stay on air!

Toonami is coming back, only if we act now!

My Saturday nights are ruined because they got rid of Toonami. It was an incredibly popular block that could have remained with CN for an eternity. Just Snyder getting rid of this block dropped out many viewers from CN. I hope Toonami can return one day, the final words Tom said is that he will return one day. "Bang!!"

I wish they'd bring it back, I just hope that it will be the classic Tom with his helmet and not the newer one with the face. I still liked those extra characters that they added during the last year though so they should remake those to look a little like how Tom looked before , just with a different paint job and helmet.

Have Faith dude, we (the viewers, audience, the ppl who put money in those producers pockets) can bring Toonami back. Our numbers can prove them wrong for erasing Toonami progroam from the CN line-up.

Even AS is starting to suck with all those new shows that aren't funny and don't make sense at all like T&EASGJ. They should remake AS anb revive Toonami so they can get older viewers to watch.

Adult Swim, Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job.

 

AS is starting to bore me, the only good days are saturdays, and T&EASGJ is just completely stupid, and has an extremely thin storyline if any. That show needs to be cancelled because nobody watches it and I doubt that anybody would give a damn if it went off the air for good.

They've recieved tens of thousands of complaints and petitions with thousands of participants

They're completely against bringing back Toonami and have positioned themselves to entirely American made television

 

It's gone, all we can do is remember the good times

It probably was that. It's sad when parents think that even a little bit violence in the shows is already bad for their kids. Heck, kids are subjected to violence in their everyday lives; seeing it on some Anime/other shows won't change a thing.

My neighbors won't let their 10 year old watch anime because it's too violent, while at the same time they took him to watch Friday the 13th and got him a copy of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. What a freakin' contradiction. We live in a neighborhood where you could get jumped for stepping outside and we see a fight every week, they record them. And so do I.

This caused them to rework it into times that could possibly bring it appropriate viewing levels, however the lack of real change in shows continued the downward spiral.

 

Mature content merely would have moved it to late nights like Adult Swim, not cancelled it

 

All in all, you can almost entirelly blame Toonami's fall on Naruto

I'm think that's you just hating on Naruto. Toonami was already failing before Naruto even got to the filler part, and I don't think the failing was due to Naruto.

I'm think that's you just hating on Naruto. Toonami was already failing before Naruto even got to the filler part, and I don't think the failing was due to Naruto.

 

Besides the fact that Naruto is a terrible show, actual ratings from all viewer groups dropped dramatically when the premier show Toonami was relying on at the time, Naruto, began playing its filler episodes.

Though the ratings were lower than usual beforehand, they had been kept at an acceptable level for its timeslot before the fillers.

It didn't fall because of Naruto, it actually helped it stay on for a little while longer. However it started dying when other shows like Gundam and Zoids were canceled. If Toonami had made a lineup where they got their older shows back, while keeping the newer ones would probably have still had the slot on for a few more years.

 

Can people post any good lineup suggestions? I got

 

Code Lyoko

Naruto Shippuden

G-Gundam

Zoids

DBZ(not Kai)

A moderately censored Yu-Yu Hakusho like they had before

 

Something along those lines maybe.

Naruto has been keeping viewers cause butt kicking anime, like the old shows being canceled was a big deal.
