Hayde then said, "Look. It's been not so long ago since this outburst of confusing actions took place and if it makes you feel better, I went back in a got that deck and changed it. I came here to apologize and possibly to ask you to duel me again. This time for real. No forfeits. No quitting. Just straight up dueling. And just to show that i'm really sure i want to duel you, i got two duel disks and i want you and someone of your choice to duel me. That's right. A 2-on-1 duel. I promise you i wont back down." Hayden pulls out both of his decks and two duel disks. He puts the duel discs on both of his arms and places the decks in. he then tells Delano, " If you want to see what i can do as a duelist now, you cana ccept or you can wait till we get to the academy. Your choice. So what will it be?

[DeathSDelano]

"Fool, i don't duel 2 on 1s. Only cowards need to outnumber to foes. I can duel and hold my own as a duelist i never be so cowardly as to have others fight my own battles." Delano shouted enraged "if you want to duel than bring it. I'll duel you on my own and with my own strength whether win or lose i will duel from my heart. Unlike you i can stand on my own two feet" Delano exclaimed than put his deck in his duel disk. "This is my battle and my alone i will not drag others into my fights when they be only mine" Delano shouted to the heavens.

Hayden, with fire in his soul and destiny on his mind, shoutted back, "What do you mean i can't stand on my own two feet?" Sudddenly a strong precense took over him and said, "listen here, Delano. You can call me weak. You can insult me. But you never say that i can't stand on my own feet. And just for that, I guarantee you a fight of your life. I'll give it all and show you why you don't underestimate my actiond or my character." Hayden then turns on his duel disk, shuffles his deck, and says, "Duel!

"You guys are so excitable," Zirceus said as he stepped out of the shadows into view. "Yelling and screaming. Calm down, seriously."

 

Zirceus had just arrived at the tournament, and was itching to see if there was anybody good there. A week ago, he had decided that he would indeed attend duel academy, and began packing his things. As the sole inheritor to Pegasus's fortune, getting from the island to Duel Academy was not difficult at at. He had flown (himself) his private jet to the Academy, unpacked, grabbed a room, and then left to arrive at the tounrament now. If anyone had a problem with the way he did things...well he could always threaten to shut down Duel monsters.

 

"Zonixs, well met," Zircues said as he walked up to him and the others. "Though i can't say so for the rest of them." He briefly glanced down. Under his shirt, his Millenium ring began glwoing as all of the rings lit up. So, theres a large number of millenium, or millenium like itmes here he thought to himself. Interesting...

[Guest War Torn]

Nathan looked around the arena and found a duel already starting. Interesting. This is getting good. Then he saw Pegasus' son Zirceus. What is he doing here? Well, another rich boy thinking he can take the former champ. Nathan then walked towards Zirceus.

 

"Hello Zirceus," said Nathan as he walked towards him. "I was a friend of your father's, or should I say student before I won the dueling title. Sure I gave it back to him before he got beaten by Yugi, I was just the person who won it in a tournament. He wanted to see which student was the best. It turned out I was. When I won it, I gave it back to him and left."

Zirceus glanced over at Nathan. "Ahh of course, you were in Pegasus's rankings. He ranked Yugi Motto first, but said there was someone who was as good if not better. So I guess that must be you." He glanced at Nathan, looking him over up and down. Doesn't seem too bad he thought, before extending his hand. "Zirceus Pegasus, but you already know that. Current heir ot the Pegasus fortune, which of course included Duel monsters. And you are?"

"I am Nathan," said Nathan. "I am a seven time dueling champion. I beat Yugi three times for some of those reigns. Currently, my student Jonathan is the champion from beating Kaiba in a recent tournament held my myself."

 

Seems rather polite. Not like his father when I first met him.

 

"You said Yugi is still ranked first. How so? I haven't seem him duel in a while."

"About time you stopped playing around." Delano said with a smile "Who shall begun this little rematch?" Delano asked as his duel disk shuffled his than got ready to draw his hand. "You better make this interesting unlike the last duel where you didn't even try to show your deck's potential." Delano told the guy. Delano thinks to himself Lets see how this guy does against my other deck even if it may not be as good as my other

Delano sees the person who threw away his deck "What do you want" Delano said in not-so-happy tone. "If you plan on giving me more excuses of why threw away the deck from earlier forget it i don't want to speak to those who just throw decks away like they're nothing but trash. "So spill it what do you want" Delano repeated still in a not-so-happy-tone while cliching his fist ready to knock the person out.

So please, be my guest and go first" Hayden said, with a lot of fear and emotion in his heart. [i']hopefully now i can gain someone's trust hereinstead of just being a sad wonderer with nobody behind him. Maybe he can be my friend.[/i] Hayden then said, "Promise me one thing. Promise that when this is all over, we let bygones be bygones and we become friends and at the same time competitors."

I Draw" Delano draws a card from his deck "I Summon Reflect Bounder in attack mode than set 1 card facedown and End my turn. Lets see how you do against this deck" Delano says

"It's a condition i'll be glad to accept. Let's go. Draw!" Hayden draws a card from his deck. I play the spell card Book of moon and use it on your Reflect Bounder. Now i summon Speed Warrior in attack mode and i activate its effect. On the Battle Phase in which the card was first summoned' date=' his attack points double. So now, Speed Warrior! Attack the face-down defense monster!"

 

Hayden thinks to himself:[i']Wow, tough way to start. I thought i was doomed for a second but thanks to this new deck, i should be able to rank pretty well with these other duelists. Good thing i wasn't using the other deck.[/i]

"interesting but it won't win you the duel" Delano says as he puts reflector bounder in the Graveyard. "My hand says that victory is close at hand. Lets see what you got" Delano said "So are you going to set any spell or traps or are you just going to end your turn" Delano asked waiting to see what his opponent will do.

Ok then. for good measure i will place two cards face-down on the field and end my turn. Have at it man. Let's see what you can really do.

"I draw" Delano looks at his hand than says "I'll play Heavy Storm to crush all your Face-downs." Delno looks at his opponent "How will your respond to that" Delano thinks to himself hmm... lets see what he has up his sleeve than delano reviews his hand again knowing his next move.

"Ok. So before i let that happen, i play mystical space typhoon to destroy your heavy storm. Go on with your turn. it's not that easy to get rid of my cards.

Leo was standing silently amongst the other duelists, waiting to see what would transpire. He had at first thought that this was going to be a normal tournament, but then suddenly realized that his Millennium Rod was throbbing against his chest. Looking to his left, he saw that someone was wearing the Millennium Ring and almost reached for his Millennium Rod by instinct. The last person to have the Millennium Ring had a very evil alter ego that he had to deal with, if I remember rightly. I'll have to keep an eye on him. After riding around, Leo had decided that he would enter himself into the tournament. Now he could see that there had to be a reason for it. In that moment, he wondered if Zirceus, the son of Pegasus, had the Millennium Eye on him. I don't need to worry about that. I'll just leave that issue alone unless it becomes a problem, just like it had with Pegasus.

[Guest War Torn]

After Nathan got done talking to Zirceus, he decided to visit his favorite pawn shop that was next to the arena.

 

"Hey Frank," said Nathan as he walked in. "What's new today?"

 

"Well, I got this strange object that I want you to look at," said Frank as he brought an old box. "My guess is that is holds a Millennium item, but I'm not sure. I know you have experience with these things so I want you to double check."

 

"Alright then," replied Nathan. "If it is a Millennium item, I might take it off your hands."

 

Nathan then proceeded to open the box. To his supprise, it was the Millennium Key. Yugi said to him that if he found it, he could keep it until the time was right.

 

"I'll pay you five thousand for it Frank," said Nathan with excitement.

 

"I don't know," replied Frank. "However, since you are a friend. I'l accept that offer."

 

Nathan wrote a check for five thousand dollars. He then took the Millennium Key and headed back to the arena.

"Baka. You forget that Mystical Space typhoon does not negate so your other facedown is still destroyed and so is mine" Delano says and laughs as he puts the facedown he had in the Graveyard "Now with your backrow clear its time to end this. I Special Summon Cyber Dragon than i'll Normal Summon Cyber Dragon Zwei. Now i activate his effect." Delano says than reveals the normal Spell Power Bond "Now Cyber Dragon Zwei is treated as a Cyber Dragon. Next up i activate the power bond i just revealed to Fusion my Cyber Dragon Zwei on my field with the Cyber Dragon to Summon Cyber Twin Dragon. Thanks to powerbond Twin Dragon's power is doubled to 5600 thats not all he can also attack twice per battle phase. Now Cyber Twin Dragon destroy his Speed Warrior than Attack his Life pionts directly" Delano said while throwing up his arm and pionting.

Zonixs sighed as he witnessed the going ons. Leo.Nathan.Zirceus. All of them my firends, all of them good duelists...These conversion decks I'm working on better be serious. These guys sure are. He walked in and looked at the Colesseum-Arena. It was huge and ancient looking. however, it had quite, the futuristic spin on it. It was a effortless paradox, and Zonixs like it.

"Well to begin the Persuasion portion of the competition." the arena rose up and revealed a obstacle course fit for Hercules. "The world record for this course is 20 minutes. Anyone who makes it under 10, will proceed to the battle grounds, where they will have to convince warriors to give them their decks while trying to survive. Non-violently of course and with no objects that the have in their posseions, except their clothes, possibly their decks, and themselves. The person who does this the fastest will be our winner, but they must face the runner up in the next round in a duel to garuantee his victory. If you make it to the obstacle course in 5 minutes, you will receive a garuanteed spot in the next round, with a lower ranked duel, and in the next competition."

 

Zonixs' jaw dropeed when he saw the obstacle. It had a pit of fore, incredibly acrobatice bars, and all the while dodging random objects thrown at you.And there was a lake of fire too...that theyhad to swim through. Finally, they had to run 30 seconds on a treadmill while punching through walls of glass. "WHAT THE funk IS THIS sheet?!!!" HE YELLED. "Leo, your uncle really doesn't want anyone wining that sword...or making it out of here alive..."

Noooooooo! As Hayden's life points drained to 0, he kneeled on the ground crying. but as he was crying his spirit dragon Glaros began to talk to him. "Hayden" Glaros said. Hayden replied with silent praise. Glaros continued speaking, " There's no need to feel as if you let yourself down. You are only as strong as how you take defeats. Please get up." Hayden gets up,wiping the tears out of his eyes. He says, " Thank you Glaros. Maybe someday i can finally figure out this deck and complete my destiny."

 

"Goodbye my child" Glaros said as he faded back into his mind. AS Hayden came too, he said with happiness and confidence, "Hey good game, man. Sorry about all that mess. Guess i just needed some clarity."

 

SO when do you think the boat is gonna leave? He stood there as he looked at the boat waiting for a response. [/font]

"Good game" Delanao said as he put away his deck "That was one of the 3 possible OTKs this deck has, but you don't need to know the other 2" Delano told him "As for the boat leaving no clue thats why i have not left this area because i don't know when it leaves. On top of that i don't want to miss the boat" Delano said than turned to axel who he thinks is still under the tree "Interesting duel wouldn't you agree?" Delano asked

[Shadow Zero]

Leo only gulps once before responding, clearly caught off guard by the obstacle course. "I had no idea about this, although I expected that there would be something extra thrown in to make the tournament more intense. All I can say is, thank goodness fr those times I vigorously trained on a less dangerous version of this." Even so, Leo felt a little uncertain. Then he closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. When he opened his eyes again, he was calm and ready to face the challenges that had been set before them all. nothing to worry about, just another day on the course field.....a very, very dangerous version of the course4 field, but still the course field. Nothing to worry about.

[Aqua Girl]

Axel looked at the two more interested in the cyber deck the had figured her stratagy for his first OTK, incase he uses it against her in the future, wich they would face, "Nothing a T-Roar cant handle." she silently said to herself.

 

 

Well, you should look behind you the boat is here." Axel said with a smile, she got up and dusted off her but cutely, she grabed Delano's hand, "Come on lets go before it leaves!"

"Leo," yelled Nathan. "What is Kaiba thinking? Does he want me killed or something?

 

Nathan looked at the obstacle course and saw the clock. Well, I need to pwn these idiots. Better get going. Nathan then ran off to face the pit of fore. How am I going to get through this? I got it! Nathan went back to the arena wall and started running. I hope this works. Nathan jumped at the edge of the pit and was flying in air. I don't think I'm going to make it. I didn't run fast enough. Nathan missed the other side, but managed to hang on to the cliff. Got to pull myself up. Nathan used all his energy to pull himself up. He was tired afterwards and took a minute break.

"Well looks like its time to ship off" Delano said than ran toward the boat than went up to the men in the suit with sunglasses "Can i help you" the man says "Ya i'm Delano and i'm heading to the academcy so let me on board." Delano told the man. "Let me check the list" man studied the last "Ok get on" the man instructed and delano hopped on board the boat.
