The world prepares to enter into a new era as duelist Gather to go to the Newest Duel Academy, The Elemental Advent Fantasy Academy. However, our story does not begin there but rather in Japan, where we meet some of the hopefuls as they learn who they are and a little about the world.

For OOC-ish posts,beyond the first 5 pages after this RP Starts, please post them here. The exception to this is if it should be knowledge to everyone and will affect the thread like you are leaving aka announcements. Suggestions can be made here.

 

 

[spoiler=Duel Guidelines]For any duel that is happening YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST:

 

1. Duel with Your deck. (This means: 1. You may use an online/virtual deck, but you must actually draw those cards from your deck. You may not pick out cards from your hand. However, I'm feeling nice so Once per duel, you may pick a card from you deck and add it to your hand. Use this sparingly as I may disallow it. Also tell me and your opponent's when you do it.

If you do need to use an online/virtual duel and you are by yourself, send me or your opponent(s) the log, prefarably your opponent(s).)

2. Duel with real cards. No YCMs (only for fairness). This means you have to draw the cards.

3. No Cheating. If someone thinks you are cheating they have the right to duel you online to see if you are, but 2 other people must agree as well as me.

4. Pay Attention to what is happening.

5. Online duels can be held at http://www.yugiohnetwork.com. This will be useful so use it.

6. If you are new, you may begin with 2 decks. If you are not, You may have 3. You will be able to get more decks as you progress.

3. Two parts:

First:

If you wish to be a duel spirit or demon or angel, as they will be needed, Please Please Pm me about it. I don't want Godmodding going on. (Godmodding is inevitable to small degrees, so it's not ok but I will allow it within reason.) If you are one of these things I will alert you of things that you will be able to do. Put it in your app or PM me if you are.

Second:

All of you who wish to have a Millenium Item, pm me before claiming it first.[spoiler=Millenium Item Info]

Also the Millenium Items can all summon monsters, in addition to there abilities. Of these the Puzzle is the strongest, then the Rod/Destroyer, then the ???, and finally the Heart. These three items are the best for summoning monsters, and PM/OOC me if you wish to have a different ability than your item already has.

You must let everyone in the thread know the millenium item, so random effects dont happen. Another thing about the items: they drain energy to use them. This is so you can't continue on to use them. This means if you have a monster/card that is real, you need to periodically sustain yourself. The best method it food. The next best method, would be gaining lifepoints.

Also the stronger the card/effect that your doing, the more energy as well as the strength it take to sustain that. In other words, if you summon Yubel with your item, you better be on your knees. Special Summons, do not use much energy. Fuison and Synchro use a normal amount of energy, and Ritual summons well they require a lot, if you don't follow what is says. If you do, then its like a Special Summon not much. Card effects and be slightly manipulated as well, like DAD, which costs energy or cards. Finally, the most important rule with the items is that when you use them to bring a card to life, once the card is revealed it no longer is a card. If someone say, Bottomless Trap Hole you have 15 seconds before that card is destroyed as well as the monster. Any more questions, pm me. Just so you know, there is no set amount of energy, so don't godmod. In addition, the longer you expend energy on cards, the easier it becomes to manage and less draining. NOT ALL OF THE MILLENIUM ITEMS CAN SUMMON MONSTERS FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME WITHOUT KILLING YOU. They are placed here by their strength of summoning monsters, which also determines whether you monster can be beaten by naoother item's monster. AND Only the Puzzle & 1 other Item, either the Heart or the Destroyer, may summon the Egyptian God Cards. If you choose one of the Items that can summon them, you can appeal to ME why it should be able to summon the God Cards. Also, Seto Kaiba has the original Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon and the safe which contains the Winged Dragon of Ra, Joey has Slifer the Sky Dragon and the knowledge of the seal that allows the cards to be used, & Yugi (Atem will be introduced into th story later in the first arc) has Obelisk the Tormentor & the key, which is the only way to open the safe with Ra in it. The Fusion between those cards does not exist. Another thing is, If you say your character got the name of the seal or any of these things without my knowledge and consent first, your warned. and if it happens twice, your banned. Simple.

The god cards aren't the focus of this RP, just a part.

 

Also if you say you've used them to win a duel, which no one here has, except for Yugi & Kaiba, then your warned. But not a 50% like that one. The current, legal versions, anyone may use. The originals however, may not as of now.

 

 

You may edit/change the effect your item but 3 requirements are

1. Pm me the change,; if I accept it then you must tell everyone the ability via the thread.

2. It must fit your character, dueling and/or the original power in the anime. Also There will be 3 openings in a self made Millenium Item. THEY HAVE TO BE HELPFUL TO THE PLOT AND MUST BE APPROVED BY ME OR BOTH MY FUTURE 2ND IN COMMANDS.

 

 

 

4. Some people already have really cool parents/relatives, so note that in your app Bio if you want one. Also everyone will need 2 objects, preferablly weapons. You have to include a description of the objects in your app. Also you must find the objects in the RP, it doesn't matter how, just get them. If you were previously in the RP, you still have to get the items again. If you don't have a millenium item, which no one but I shall start out with for a reason, IT must be one of the items you acquire.

1. Mako Breaker Ver.X: Basically, a sleeker, smaller, and Onyx Black version of Cloud's Buster Blader in Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. It has the same abilites plus it gives the user increaed energy and energy maniuplation control.

2. The VPX-009:Obliterator. It is basically a combination of a Seriously High power Autmoatic Sniper Rifle with extremely high accuracy from distances with a Pancor Jackhammer shotgun. It has 3 barrels, one for the sniper, one for the shotgun, and one that combines both.

 

 

[spoiler= Nathan & Johnathan (War Torn)] Nathan 1. The Sword of Light: An ancient sword used during ancient Egyption times. It has been said to belong to Atem himself, but further studies are needed. 2. His Backpack: Holds everything forevery situation. It has never let Nathan down before.

Johnathan: 1. The Sword of Darkness: From the same time as The Sword of Light. This was used to defeat Zork the Dark One. This one was proved to be used by Atem. 2. His glasses: This allows him to see at a far distance for easy spying.

 

 

[spoiler=Zirceus(Deept97)] Zirceus carries on his belt a collapsible 6’0 aluminum & Honey oak wood bo staff, with retractable blades on each end. He knows how to use it well. Zircues also hold possession over the Millennium Ring, which was taken by Pegasus after the fall of Bakura.

6. You will be going to school, but you will be doing other things as well. So make sure to take care of both. However, the first Arc will not take place in the School but rather Japan.

Hello and welcome to "Elemental Advent Fastasy Academy". Here you will learn, not only about yourself and your own skills, but about the universe and the secrets it holds. At this school, there are 6 "Elemental Dorms" and 2 ranks within each dorm. You were your dorms color, and I think you can guess that much for yourself. If you are Class A you are in a lighter shade of your color then the Class Bs.

 

[spoiler=Dorm Types]

These dorms each hold people whose decks wields a certain element. If your deck is built of many different elements, you will be placed in your dorm according to what your deck focus's on. Also the dorm you choose should match your charcter's persona and it will be important to know what dorm you are in because it will have an effect on the plot.

 

 

Aquos-The Water Dorm

The general strategy an Aquos student has is to lock down the field, thereby having all the power in the duel. This makes most of the support passive, so they use their field spell (Umi and A Legendary Ocean) to boost the attack of their monsters. At the same time, they also lower their monsters levels and get their powerful monsters out onto the field easily.

Flamaré-The Fire Dorm

Flamaré students also do not focus on attack strength (although they do have some stronger monsters hidden in their deck), but focus on removing opponents life points. This is called "burn". They take control of the field, then use monster, spell and trap card effects to systematically remove the opponents life points.

Stealtory-The Earth Dorm

The Stealtory students use decks designed around stalling the duel, until they can pull of a quick victory. Almost all of their decks have a OTK possibility. Cards with high defense are highly valued by these students. Many of them have a card that automatically wins the duel either in their deck, or in their room. All of them have at least one card with over 3000 defense.

Windegaru-The Wind Dorm

Windegaru is a dorm Returning monsters , Levleing up & spells and traps. They love using spells & traps, but when they do, you can be assured that they don't want to target anything but your spell and traps. They then take advantage of this empty back row to destroy your life points. If you really on your spells against one of them, your in trouble because your spell and traps are going to be gone soon enough. Then they clear the rest of your field by returning cards to your deck or just clearing awa y he rows. They wind will blow you away.

Darkonus-The Dark Dorm

These students believe that when a card is sent to the graveyard its time in the duel has only just begun. There decks make the graveyard and the field almost interchangeable. There are some students who are the exact opposite, who still wound up here. They focus on stopping access to the graveyard, effectively making them removed from play.

Luticaria-The Light Dorm

These are student who want to win. They have lots of big and powerful monsters. When these duelists are not overwhelming you with force, they are boosting their life points and drawing cards. Recently, they have started to accept mill decks, but not every one of these is allowed to join.

 

If you do not feel that you fit into any of these dorms please ask me what dorm you should be in. In each of your rooms, there is a machine that you can put your deck in for a virtual duel. The duel is against a computer, but it is good training.

 

 

[spoiler=Classes]

There are two classes, the upper and lower class. A challenge duel is required to move between the two classes.

 

Class B-The Lower Class

This is a class for all new students. You cannot move out of this class without winning 4 challenge duels, 1 tag-team teacher duel, 1 and one against someone of the Headmaster/Principal's Choice. You will spend two years here at least unless you show Excellency in duels in this area. Tha

t means a perfect record and you've dueled 20 people the first day.

 

Class A-The Upper Class

This class is hard enough to get into, but once your in you must periodically duel students from the lower class. If they win you and them both get sent to a challenge duel.

 

Challenge Duels

On a regular basis students from Class B and Class A will be paired up with each other and will duel each other. If the Class A student wins, then you continue around campus as normal. If the Class B student wins, then both students get sent to the "Challenge Arena". In this arena are special instructors who have a set of decks that they are allowed to choose from. They choose their decks depending on what dorm the student they are facing is from. If the student (both Class A and Class B) losses they either stay or become a Class B student, but if they win, they either stay or become a Class A student.

 

Schedules: Each class B student will have Classes that can start from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. They are to teach you the mechanics of dueling, They vary, depending on type. The shortest are 30 minutes and the longest are 2 hours. On average students take for classes, with a mandatory "Survival" Class. It's like Gym but Waaay more intense.

Class A students Only have 2 hours of Survival if they have failed it as a Class B students. The choice for them, after Basic education needs are met, is Optional to have class. However the rest of this time is spent building up a career as a duelist or in the Dueling field.

[spoiler=What Will Be Happening?]

In this RP students duel each other, but they can also go around the campus and talk, make friends and start small sub-plots between dorms. During the RP a plot will slowly be revealed.

 

There is rivalry between certain dorms. Like in the actual game, they go Aquos (Water) and Flamaré (Fire), Stealtory (Earth) and Windegaru (Wind) and Darkonus (Dark) and Luticaria (Light). So feel free to make enemies for yourself from your opposing dorm and the teachers are allowed to pick sides.

 

There will be booster packs handed out periodically during the RP in the shop. At the start of the year, class A students get 10 and class B get 15. Also, every term, you get credits for accomplishments. These are awarded by teachers. You can use these to buy rarer cards from the shop.

 

Also we will be using a money system so feel free to add suggestions on that.

 

Transfers can happen at any time in the RP so please feel free to do it, just PM me.

Prefered Place To Duel: Places where the enviornment rather than the monsters would have a greater effect on the duelist and how they could ossibly act.

Bio-Not Optional:Normally lively and free spirited winning to duel with anyone at any time.though he lost his parent when he was young he still grew up decking with his heart in a small town outside of a lot city that he normally visited to duel other duelist. Through out the times he dueled he has changed and edited many decks until 1 night a fire broke out burning nearly all his cards. however he was able to save one of his decks from total destruction.

What Your Deck Tries To Do:Zirceus’s Rerun deck is based on riding the field of his opponents monster by removing them from play. He runs a number of bounce cards, (Compulsory, Penguin Soldier, Forced Back, etc.) that return monsters to the hand, and then using spell cards he ensure they’re removed from play. More often than not, there won’t be monsters in the opponents graveyard fro them to summon.

Bio-Not Optional:Zirceus is the youngest Nephew of Maximillain Pegasus, the creator of duel monsters. He however did not have good relations with his uncle, rejecting attempts to have cards made for him, etc. He did not want people to think that money defined him. When his parents died in a plane crash, he moved in with his uncle (age 11) where he really got into duel monster, and their relationship to ancient Egypt. As such, he is knowledgeable of the milinium items and their capabilities. When Pegasus dies when Zircues was 16, Zircues was left Pegasus’s fortune and his palace. He also took a deck prototype Pegasus had been designing, and adapted it for his purposes.

Preferred Place To Duel:He prefers to duel someplace outdoors, with plenty of light, though when it comes down to it, it doesn’t matter to him.

Bio-Not Optional: During a distant war happening through multiverse, a man called Protheus appeared. Little knew his intentions, and even less knew who he was in the first place. Only those who came from his own dimension, the RoT dimension, such as Itsu knew who he was, but even then, they knew little about him. The Paradox Wars ripped Protheus apart. But he emerged one final time during the conclusion of his dimension, and attempted to finish his work, but failed, and was destroyed. Due to his unexplained trapped soul, he stayed as some kind of ghost. He wandered along before he found the remains of Paradox's runner, and sent himself on another journey, only to crash into a black hole, which ripped his soul apart, and sent each piece across the multiverse.

One of them inhabited a student, Iatus, and tried to overpower the person, but Iatus proved to be able to control the piece. Iatus, meanwhile, is just a normal person joining a Duel Academy, but he isn't normal anymore with that piece inside of him, which has learned to communicate and help with the host.

He is a fiercely loyal friend, and he only fights for those he believes in. This is at times a heavy burden for him to carry though, as there really isn't anyone he knows or has come across who actually believe in him.

 

Prefered Place To Duel: Usually somewhere quiet where people aren't liable to interrupt. Unlike his uncle Kaiba, huge crowds just annoy him, not to mention that if it comes down to a shadow duel, he would rather that people did not know about his having the Millennium Rod.

A year ago, there was an incident that made headlines all over the world. Someone had risen to power incredibly fast and announced that they would be unifying the governments of the world under his absolute rule. Now, the world's government's didn't appreciate this so their campaign's launched against this single man were great and the battle was quick. He was not arrested and simply smiled. He surrendered, saying that he'd accomplish what he aimed for. He brought the unification of the world's governments through a militaristic campaign. That man is praised for his ingeniousness. That man has now founded a school, for duelists all over the world. The Element Advent Fantasy Academy, founded by Cloud Leonhart, is open an accepting anyone who can make themselves ready. What geniuses will this PUBLIC academy produce? The world can only wait as---

 

Zonixs clicked the television off, readying his backpack as he went outside to the terrace to see his father. Yugi Moto. He was his blood son despite having a different last name. His mother, well she disappeaered after she revealed to Yugi he was having a son and they had lived happily together until the day Zonixs died. Supposedly. Thus he'd went his life without knowing who his parents were. Only recently had he found out that his father was the original King of Games. He enjoyed his time with his father and he accepted Zonixs, despite knowing the sins of his past and not having known for so many years. That was no problem to him though. He knew his father was eager to see him off and was waiting as he turned onto the terrace. The Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival was few days away and the boat that would take him to the Academy arrived at the end ofthe week, in when the festival started. Under this warm evening he was happy with his father.

 

"Sup Dude?" he asked as he went to hug his father.

 

"You really should be better than that, trying to sneak up on your old man."

 

"Zonixs smiled. "Huh, what are you talking bout sneaking? I was right in behind you the whole time!" The two of them chuckled as the sun set on the azure sky. Yugi knew this would be a great time for his child and he knew Zonixs was intelligent and ready to be on his own. He' reached his decision.

 

"Follow me." Yugi led his son to the back of the terrace and placed his hand on a cement panel. It pressed in and thin coating of light pulled upwards and the wall seperated. It led them down a path, encased in what looked like a mix between a high tech vault and an ancient Eygptian King's tomb. There in the center stood a pedstal, and a top it, the Millenium Puzzle.

 

"D-dad, I cannot acccept this. Its your most treasured item now tha you and Atem have seperated."

 

"I did not make this decision lightly son. You are going on your own now and I have decided to give you apart of my legacy. The Millenium Puzzle has many abilities, most of which I did not know. In fact atem knew more about this than me. However, when we were together, we truly couldn't access the abilities because of well the limits it had carrying Atem's entire being and all. He came with great strength and it was no mere simple Trick. However, the puzzle WAS still in its earliest development. It isn't finalized like all the others. It needs to be solved 7 times for it to reach its true potential." Yugi walked over to the Puzzle, its pieces glowing in the light. He handed them to his son. "You ar my son and not only that this is apart of our legacy. Solve it the last time and it is yours." Yugi gave Zonixs the pillow the pieces were on and left him. Three hours later, Zonixs emerged from the passageway,puzzle completed.

 

"I knew you could do it! Go and take this gift with you on your trip. I know that you are going to go get your own special item, that gun of yours, and take it with you since the school does allow for that. Here is something from me to remind you of how strong we truly can be."

 

Zonixs' eyes watered a bit. He stopped them though, he didn't want his pheromones to get ut of hand. The hospital that he was raised in did a lot to him. However, his his father, even knowing him for only a short time had welcomed him with open arms. He taught him skills and was even considering changing his last name to match his. and now he'd done this. Zonixs held his head up high. He let his father place the relic around his neck.

 

"Thank you Father. You have given me so much without sacrificing the experiences I need to be a strong and good child. You know of how these experiments changed me and have let me make my own decision concernig the results. I thank you for this and I promise I'll repay you somehow."

 

"You don't have to, but thank you" Yugi said. He hugged him and they went inside the house."Be ready, the boat arrives in two days."

Zonixs nodded to his father and then left the house. It was midnight and he felt like walking around Tokyo. Plus he wanted to have these last few days to himself. This is amazing...I can feel it. From now own, things will be different. I can feel it. I welcome the dawn that awaits me...

"I Tribute my 3 monsters to Summon Slifer the Sky Dragon!" screamed Jonathan as he layed Slifer onto his duel disk.

 

The Egyptian God Cards were finally mass produced a few years back. Nathan was the head of that production. He only did it because he was there when Atem was freed. He had connections with the Egyptian Gods and him doing the project would make it go safely.

 

"My Slifer has 4000 ATK thanks to the 4 cards in my hand. Slifer, attack his Stardust Dragon now!"

 

The sheer force of Slifer's attack destroyed Stardust in a heart beat.

 

"The winner of this duel is Jonathan!" screamed the MC.

 

Jonathan was given a big trophy. Then Jonathan and Nathan headed off.

 

"You did very well Jonathan," said Nathan. "You still have work to do on your combos. You gave me quite a shock."

 

"I did learn everything I know from you," replied Jonathan. "I don't know if there is other things for me to learn from you."

 

"You are right," answered Nathan. "That is why we are going to Japan next week. I heard there is a duel acadamy there and we can both go there to learn."

 

Jonathan was supprised about Nathan's response and they both didn't talk to each other for the remainder of the walk home.

[Shadow Zero]

Leo was sitting on the roof of his house, looking out towards where he knew the boat taking him to the academy would be docking. He was filled with a silent anticipation that bordered on an almost uncontrollable excitement. Deciding that he wanted to go for a walk, he climbed off of the roof and back into his bedroom window. He decided not to grab his cards, as he felt that he would not need them yet, but then second guessed his decision. H decided that he would take them after all, but keep them hidden. He then took his Millennium Rod and a place mat, just in case. Unbeknownst to anyone except for himself, the Millennium Rod held within it the Millennium Destroyer, an item that could take several different forms, and gain power according to those forms. Leo put the Millennium Rod out of site as he walked out of his room. He then walked through and out of his house, walking down the street with his Deck and Item safely hidden and in place. It was going to be different from now on, Leo could feel it. He also had a feeling that it would begin the very next day, although something inside him doubted that. Absorbed in his own thoughts, he continued down the street, thinking of the trials that lay ahead for him.

Delano sat on a staircase looking at his deck over and over making sure that all his cards where there. When he was satsified he shuffled his deck and put in his duel disk.

 

"Now to look for someone to duel." Delano said with a big grin on his face

 

Delano starts running up and down the street looking for someone to duel

 

"Hey Delano catch* the baker's wife said as she tossed him a freshly bake roll

Delano caughts the roll with one hand "Thanks i'll be sure to win my next turn you" he said than took a big bite out of the roll as he continued running looking for a duel.

 

"Hm... i wonder if there is even out today duel" Delano thought to himself

Zonixs looked down and at the streets. Even though it was night, Japan was still bustling. Couples were out and about. Cherry blossoms came in the wind constantly. There was a restaurant nearby that was closing. He smiled. It reminded him so much of the Ernest Hemingway story, A Clean Well-Lighted Place. He smiled. It'd be almost the same, except there is no hidden meaning here. Just life. He walked straight, drifting his eyes in the wonders of the city. He was headed to what he thought was the Kaiba Corp building. Then he bumped into someone, who he didn't expect to see. "Leo? It's been a while." The puzzle was in his pack, but he could feel it pulsing, ever so lightly around his hands. No one would notice but him either.

Delano stopped running to catch his breath

*heavy breathing* "Ma-Man Ca-can't find anyone to duel around this place." Delano says catching his breath

"Ok time to take a break before running again" Delano said as he walks over out of the middle of the walkway and sat down than pulled out his Deck and looked at it "Sorry guys i can't find anyone to duel yet" Delano said to his cards. "However, I am determined to find someone to duel after i get my energy back."

As Delano sat there he looked up at the sky watching the clouds pass by

Leo ended up running straight into Zonixs, someone who, like hi, would be going to the academy. He had known Zonixs for a while, although he was never really into Zonixs way of dueling where people could gather. Leo preferred to duel in quiet places where there weren't a bunch of other people looking on. "Oh, hello." Leo noticed that his Millennium Rod was throbbing gently against him from the inside of his jacket, and that, even though nobody including himself could see it, the Millennium rod was likely glowing as well. Another Millennium Duelist? Impossible! Where?! Leo knew that running into another Millennium duelist would probably mean a duel in the Shadow Realm. He had heard storied of its terrors, and had always hoped to avoid them himself. "So tell me, where are you headed to at the moment?" Leo knew he would likely end up having to deal with the Millennium Duelist, but he would worry about that later. Even so, he was suddenly wishing that he had his duel disk on im.

Roman was in the middle of the duel, he looked at his hand of Advanced Ritual Art, Geartown, Heavy Storm and Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands. He drew his next card which was another Geartown, all he did was grin and summon his Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands and add a Demise, King of Armageddon to his hand. "Game over..." he said slowly placing Advanced Ritual Art to his side of the field. "Now I'll send 2 Mechanicalchasers from my deck to the graveyard." He sighed and sent the two monsters to the graveyard and summoned Demise, King of Armageddon. "Now I use his effect and destroy all your cards. Then I set a field card and play another one. My first sent card was Geartown which lets me summon an Ancient Gear Gadjlintron Dragon from my deck."

 

Roman searched through his deck then placed an Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon face-up on an unoccupied monster card zone. "Next I'll activate Heavy Storm destroying my other Geartown and you know it's effect." Roman summoned another Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon from his deck. "Then I attack with all of them." Roman sighed. These Japanese duelists are horrible at duel monsters. Roman thought.

"Ok thats enough rest time to get back to finding a duel" Delano said as he stretched his legs.

"Ready. Set .Go" Delano said than took off looking every which way looking for someone to duel.

Not to far down the road Delano saw what looked like duel "Hmm...maybe a someone to play"

Delano run full speed to go see who was dueling...By the time Delano got to the people dueling he saw someone(Roman) standing there with a duel disk.

 

"Hey you wanna duel against me?" Delano asked the mysterious person as he prepared his duel disk with his deck staring at person waiting for a response

Hayden finally arrives to where he wanted to end up. Quietly in the forest where he trained night and day befrore he wonderously aimmed at his prime goal.As he stood there in the forest, he began thinking of what the academy could do for him and what might happen if his destiny is not achieved. He kneeled down and prayed to his dragon gods, asking them to lead him in the right path away from the evil that threatened him. He got up, looked at his two decks, and then, immediately, he took out his duel disk from his bag and began what he would call a self-duel where he would take both of his decks and duel them to see which was stronger, not knowing that an enemy was not far behind him.

Nathan and Jonathan just woke up to find a package in the mail.

 

"Well, what is this?" asked Nathan.

 

Nathan picked up the package and put it in the living room.

 

"What is that Nathan?" asked Jonathan.

 

"Well, it seems that its from the acadamy," replied Nathan. "But I don't know how they got our address."

 

"Lets see what is inside Nathan," said Jonathan.

 

Jonathan then proceeded to open the package. He found a couple of test uniforms that the duel acadamy gives to the people who take the entrance exam.

 

"What what is this?" asked Nathan as he pulled out a letter. "It says that the duel acadamy is not in Japan, but in a secure location. It says the ship leaves in two hours and all people who don't make it would have to wait for another year."

 

"Lets get going then," repled Jonathan.

 

They both then started packing for the huge trip.

[Mr.WHAM]

Zonixs chuckled. "I'm headed over to your side of town actually. There is something that I have to pick up." Zonixs looked at Leo and saw the suddenness and expression on his face. He wondered if he had one too. "I'm really shocked at you Leo. You don't have your duel disk on you. Then again, neither do I. I guess this is just a regular conversation." He gave Leo a friendly hug and cracked a joke. Then he felt the puzzle pulse incredibly, and deciding he could not ignore it anymore, for he needed not cause any unwanted results, he pulled it out. It shone brightly. "Leo, I know you must be crazy surprised or something but I guarantee you, I am too. This thing is acting weird. Hmmm maybe its what dad was telling me about. Anyways, you should come with me. I'm bored and well two awesome people is always better than one awesome person right?"

Roman just looked at the person and grinned slightly. "Maybe some other time, I have to get going." Roman started walking away slowly. That was a little random, getting asked to a duel by some random person in some random location at some random time. He then started running to a nearby dock, clueless about when the ship was leaving to duel academy. Making his way through a street of moving traffic. As soon as Roman made it to the dock he dropped his bag and started checking off what he was bringing. "Duel disk, deck, changes of clothes and other." He said out loud to himself.

Leo was somewhat surprised to hear that Zonixs was headed into his area. He wondered what business Zonixs had over in his area, and if it had anything to do with the ties between his uncle and Zonixs father. Suddenly, Leo's Milennium Rod seemed to suddenly jump upwards. He hadn't even had a chance to wave off Zonixs comment on the lack of duel disks. When Zonixs pulled out the Millennium Puzzle and made a comment afterwards, Leo scowled and hit Zonixs on the head with his first and middle fingers in a chopping fashion much like how Jackie's uncle would have done. "Moron, don't just go randomly pulling that out in a public place unless you are going to wear it! You don't know if someone would just randomly show up and try to steal it!"

"OK bye" than took off running again after he got his response than realized something.

"almost forget the duel academy ship is departing soon better get going" Delano said to him self than bolted towards the habor. When Delano got to the harbor he noticed that he only had his Deck, his duel disk, the laptop that he forgot was even strapped on his back and a wooden sword tied to the laptop. "Looks like i'm gonna be wearing the same outfit for while o well better get on board." Delano said to himself outloud. "and now to wait for the boarding time" he said than sat down and checked his deck again to past the time.

Hayden, as he heads inside his house to relax from a hard day of self-obliberation, walks over to his door step to find that there is a package waiting for him and that it's from the academy.

 

He immediately opens the letter and reads it. In a shining moment, he jumps with excitement and screams into the darksky with joy. "Finally, I can prove myself to my village that the dragon gods chose me for a reason rather than for nothing" he said. AFter that he saw a test uniform sitting in the box. " I can't wear it without the sign of the dragons on it" he thought. So he then took a few hours to sketch the image of Glaros onto his test uniform. He quickly put the uniform and stood in glory.

 

As he ran down to get on the dock, he runs into many people that he hasn't seen before. He taps the shoulder of one of the duelists and introduces himself. "Hi. My name is Hayden Ondic. Is this the boat to the academy?" he asked. The man replied, "If it wasn't, I wouldn't be here, trust me. By the way, my name is Zonixs and let me warn you, now that i know who you are, i'm not giving you mercy." And as he walked away, Hayden then began looking at the small gold relic that he had. He finally realizes that he, like everyone else, are here to show what they can do and that to find a friend here, you have to compete with all you got in your heart and believe what you believe. Hayden, after that moment, just took a deep breath, looked at his two decks, took a long sigh, and prayed to the dragons again.

"Time to wake up Jonathan," said Nathan. "We have to get there in an hour."

 

Jonathan was taking his daily nap. For some reason he gets tired after a duel and sleeps when he gets home.

 

"Lets get going Nathan," replied Jonathan as he got up and grabbed is bag. "We taking your special BMW or the bus?"

 

"We'll take the BMW," said Nathan as he grabbed a small cube and chucked it outside.

 

The cube suddenly transformed and turned into Nathan's BMW. Cars these days can transform into small cubes you keep in your pocket so they don't get stolen so easily. Only the owner of the car can get it out of the cube.

 

"Lets get going Jonathan," yelled Nathan as he got into the drivers seat.

 

"I'm coming Nathan," replied Jonathan.

 

They both headed off to the port where their journey would begin.

"Actually, I am incorrect. The boat doesn't leave for a while and its about a quarter of a mile east. But it was certainly nice to meet you Hayden." Zonixs shook Hayden's hands as he pulled Leo away with him. When they were by themselves again, he spoke. "I only brought out the puzzle because I know you know about the Millennium Items and I trust you. Also, its 3 am. Who the hell is going to bother to disturb us this late?" Zonixs wrapped the chain around his neck and began to wear the Item. "Anyways," he said grabbing up a flyer, "I am headed to a bank to pick up something of value to me. If you could, put my name down for the Mako-Breaker Contest that KaibaCorp is having. I really want that sword, its like I can feel it in my bones." He continued walking or forcibly dragging Leo along with him as he headed to the bank.

 

(Zonixs will be winning the contest as a way to get a hold of his second item. However, anyone who wants to have their own in the country they are in or have their item as a consolation prize, it is fine.)

Delano notices some people going to the boat than another person leaving. "Hmm.... Looks like i may want to start boarding now" Delano said to himself than walked to the boat looking for the boat guy with the list. "Hmm... is there even anyone watching this board. O well i just wait here for the guy" Delano looks around for the guy again than took a seat on a nearby crate "Hm... i wonder when the boat is gonna leave or start letting people board for the academy. I'm really excited to beable to finally get a duel and maybe even a challenge" He said to himself than looked up at the sky

As Nathan and Jonathan were driving to the docks he saw a flier.

 

"Well, well, well," said Nathan as he stopped next to the flier. "It looks like Kaiba is having a dueling contest. I guess this would be a great time to pwn him again."

 

Nathan remembers the good old days when he pwned Kaiba and Yugi like they were nothing. In his dueling federation DWE, he constantly put his dueling title on the line so he could humiliate Kaiba and Yugi. That was until Jonathan came and defeated Nathan. Nathan took the liberty to teach the new champion everything he knew.

 

"I can't go Nathan," said Jonathan. "Kaiba would challenge me for my title and I'm not ready to face him after that close call."

 

"Alright then," said Nathan. "I'll go duel in the tournament."

 

Nathan grabbed the flier and headed towards the tournament.

Leo was becoming highly annoyed at being dragged along like this and decided to grab Zonixs by the coat and give him a pull and shove so as to make him let go. "Would you cut that out? Either that, or I could always own you in a Shadow Duel. I do not think that you would want to put your soul on the line. Reaching into his pocket, Leo took out a cube and tossed it out to the side, which grew and expanded into his own personal duel runner, complete with a duel disk. "I have my own things to do anyway, but I'll be sure to take care of that first so as to not inadvertently forget. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way." Leo jumped aboard his Duel Runner and started gunning the engine. He then went speeding of towards the Kaiba Corporation building, thinking that he would take care of the registration first before getting his item from his uncle.

"Fine Then..." Zonixs said. He felt abandoned but it really didn't matter. He was used to being on his own. Zonixs sighed as he felt the wind in his face from runnibg. The bank where he was headed would be by him soon. He was getting a little hungry so he lucky that the bank was by a restaurant. He went inside the bank and was led to the safe by a manager, Mr.Tazanaki. "Mr.Truchen sir we have what you need right here but for your own intentions we must duel. Are you ready sir?"

 

"Always!" Zonixs said with a smile as his duel disk zoomed to life. He would have to make this fuel quick because he was getting more hungry by the second. Within a few turns Zonixs had Il Blud on the field and he'd just resummoned Obelisk with his effect. Time to end this.

Obelisk, End him With Tormentor's Passing!!" There was a squeal as the monster faded away and Obelisk, lone and zombiefied stood amidst Zombie World with an assortment of other fallen fiends. "That duel was wonderful Mr.Tazanaki!"

"Y-y-ye-ye-yes it was Mr.Truchen!" the man stuttered and shuddered. The boy was a fiercely good duelist and always a fun person to duel. He opened the door and led him to a safe, and within it, a collection of safe deposit boxes. Zonixs immediately was handed his box as he held it open. Inside it was a one of a kind gun, the VPX-009 Obliterator, in its stealth form, a rather large cube. The cube homed in on Zonixs' DNA & pheromones as it opened up to form the gun. Satisfied with the weapon, he walked out of the bank. It was dawn, and that restaurant that he had seen was open. "Time for breakfast."

Leo had arrived at Kaiba Corps. tower and dismounted from his duel runner. He had it revert to its cube form and picked it up off of the ground before pocketing it and walking inside the building. After going to the front desk to get Zonixs signed up for the tournament, Leo walks over to the elevator and takes it to the top floor Where Kaiba's office is. He then walks in and says "Hello Uncle Seto. I've come to claim what's mine. Seto looks back from the window that he was looking out of, although the entire back of his office is one huge window, And looks over at Leo glaring before causing a hidden pedestal to rise from the floor in front of himself and in front of Leo as well. "There's no way any relative of mine that I know of would walk around without his duel disk. Therefore, you'll have to prove it." Leo takes the duel disk and puts it on, inserting his deck into the deck slot saying "Fine by me. I'll remind you of just who the hell you're dealing with. DUEL!"

An hour later, the duel had finally been decided with Leo as the victor, striking the final blow with his Hayabusa Knight Mage Power combo. "Well, it looks like it really is you after all, Leo. I take it this is what you came for?" Kaiba produced a high tech hilt that looked the exact twin of the one that Leo had on him. He threw it over to him and Leo caught it deftly in one hand, nodding once before taking off the duel disk and placing it on the pedestal. Seto then reaches into his pocket again and throws another card towards Leo saying "Take this as well, and make sure that you treat it with the proper respect. Leo catches the card that Seto had thrown towards him and looks to see that it's the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the on that Seto had always kept on him. "Are you sure? This is your most prized possession, after all." Seto doesn't reply at first, but merely turns around and looks out of his office window once again. Leo turns to leave to and is brought short when he hears Seto say "Just make sure that you don't lose, especially not to 'him'." Knowing what his uncle meant, Leo merely nodded once before walking out of his uncles office and heading down the hall towards the elevator. walking inside it, he takes it down to the ground floor and then walks out of the building. He grabs his cube and tosses it, allowing it to turn into his Duel Runner once more and jumping onto it. It was morning now and the sun was rising. Better get my things ready for the trip. I'll be making sure that I don't lose to him though Uncle Seto, you have my word.

*snore snore* Delano sleeping on the crate he was sitting on until he slipped off and hit his arm. "Ouch that hurt. Wait what the when did i fall asleep. Hopefully the boat as not left or anything" Delano saids than turns around noticing that the boat is still there than sighs with relieve. "That would have been bad if i got left here now wouldn't it" Delano said to himself that rubbed his arm. "Man is so boring around here why couldn't someone be here already so i can duel" Delano said impatiently.

Hayden sat there in complete silence waiting to get aboard the boat after Zonixs pointed him in the right direction. He then began to dream about what the duel academy would look like and all the people that he would meet. As he sat in silence, he glanced over and saw a person sleeping and waking up on a box (Delano). "I may as well try a duel. IT can hurt as much as help" he said. He then walked over and asked the person, "hey do you wanna duel while I wait for the boat to leave?" He stood there in anticipation waiting for his answer.
