As if to answer Rui's question, a Razorback drove past the Yliaster member, with several other Razorbacks in hot pursuit.

"All units! All units!" The radio reported. "Be on the lookout for a brown-haired, brown-eyed man with bandages and jeans on a stolen Razorback! He is a high-profile prisoner that has escaped from solitary confinement in the medical wing! Repeat, we have a very important escapee from the medical wing who is on a stolen Razorback. Please look out for him and stop him at all costs!"

Protheus's clothes became white. He gained a high collar and his long-damaged clothes became white and new. A blue gem appeared on his chest area, and he gained a white cape. He grabbed his sword and then sheathed it. Finally, he exited the building, and nobody was even aware of him....except Viligance. Viligance stood behind him and he turned.

"Viligance, old friend. How nice it is to see you again after over two years."

"YOU. HOW COULD YOU?"

"It was very difficult, my friend. By the way, you're fired."

With that Colours of Green and blue appeared in shapes and symbols of the Magicians Archtype. With the Seal activated he flew directly at the Machina Fortress and bounding itself to its Metalic structure and Paralysing it from Attacking. Yashiro smirked as the Circle ensnared his Opponents monster.

Rui responded as quickly as she could, feelling excitement rush through her blood. She ran to the nearest road and forced a man on a Razorback to pull over. The man did upon recognising the liaster uniform and then dismounted. Without a word, Rui pushed the man aside and drove away on the Duel Runner. It took only moments at top speed for her to have the suspect in sight. Rui then took out a handheld device and used it to communicate with the Duel Runner.

"You, stop at once! You will only make your situation grave if you don't!"

"No need for the hostile approach, you! I am Rui Kinoko - AND DON'T THINK I'M JUST A KID, EITHER!" She shrieked at the top of her lungs. She then quickly activated the Speed World 2 spe;; card which then forced itself on the suspect Razorback. The area around them was enshrouded in a purple hue. Rui then opened the window of the card, now using a small brick she had in her bag to hold down the accelerator. The duel is on. Rui began to draw the cards from her shuffled deck, and her duel disk then activated, glowing a beautiful green colour.

"So..." The bandaged man asked. "Who goes first?"

 

Desna, Itsu, and crew approached a massive mechanical gate after many turns and getting lost twice.

"Alright. We're here. Ameratasu."

"Umm, Desna, that's a gate."

"Correction, it's Tsukuyomi, the gate to Ameratasu."

"Well, how do we open the gate?"

"Simple. We solve three Duel Puzzles."

"Alright." Itsu looked around, but she couldn't see anything. "HOW DO WE DO THAT, GENIUS?!?"

Ana set out to find this Itsu person. She thought she would be in the most abnormal places. Considering the Itsu she ever heard of was Yusei's Daughter. married to Damian Atlas. Had met DJ Kaiba but she hadn't read anything else about a connection between the two people. Itsu Solace at as well be Yusei's mssing daughter. She thought about looking at the Ameratasu Gate. it was said to only open by a duel puzzle. So she started riding there.

Desna wagged his finger with all of his awesome badassness behind it.

"The Duel Puzzles can only be accessed by a special program given to high-ranking Steel Rose members, such as myself. Via cybernetic implants, we can use wireless connections to jack into the system and use the Duel Puzzles. Each Duel Puzzle is one of 1000 possible scenarios, with ten famous duelists, each one having 100 puzzles. Also, each selection of puzzles is completely randomized, so you have no idea which ones you will get. Did I mention there is a time limit?"

"Thank you, Desna." Itsu growled. "Now, what happens if I lose?"

"We all get shot at and a locator program gets downloaded into your system, allowing your capture by the resistance. Either way, you get to go through the gate. But only the winners get to go to Ameratasu. Losers go into Tsukuyomi, our prison.

"I thought Tsukuyomi was the gate."

"And the prison/military complex outside the city."

"Alright. When do we start?"

Protheus simply laughed. "Old friend, you haven't even lost your touch." He said, staring at the enormous monster. It was Aslla Piscu, but only half as big, since it was a fake, but Viligance was one of the very first Dark Signers to existence, so there wasn't any trouble controlling it.

"ASLLA PISCU, ATTACK HIM DIRECTLY AND END THIS DUEL!" Viligance shouted, pointing at the new powerful Protheus.

"Hardly, I activate my trap card, Dust Tornado Ultima. It allows me to destroy as many Spell and Trap cards as I want, but I only want to destroy one, your field spell!" The rocky ground then faded back and the scenery changed back to where Protheus and Viligance were dueling. And then the fake Aslla Piscu faded into nothingness before it's beak could hit Protheus. "And for every card destroyed by this effect, they lose 500 life points. So goodbye."

"NO, NO!" Viligance began running towards Protheus, but he shrank into dust before he could attack, and his armor was just punched away by Protheus. Protheus turned, threw a rock into the air and it transformed into his Earthbound Duel Runner. He then soared across the Bermuda Triangle again, but this time the Bermuda Triangle was no match for him.

 

"The blackest of Twilight is here." He muttered as he soared across the tip of the ocean.

Ana Lucia remembered that Ameratasu was a complex blocked by a gate. You had to solve a duel puzzle to get in. Which Ana would probaley lose and would get shot at and a locator placed on her. Which she didn't need at ALL. She needed to find this Itsu person. Tsukuyomi was the name of the gate and the prison/ military complex inside it. If Lady Luck was not in a bit**y mood today then maybe she would catch itsu if she was still on the duel puzzle part. She was nearing the gate and sadly the duel runner emitted a loud rumbling sound similar to the non-duel capable motorcycles.

The duel had taken a turn for the worse.

Cassie had used a trap to sacrifice Krebons on Nikki's field for Overdrive Teleporter, summoned Psychic Commander and Mental Protector, then Synchro Summoned Hyper Psychic Blaster.

Then, to make matters worse, Nikki activated Assault Mode Activate.

So now, Trixie had no monsters, Cassie had tons of LP, and Vicky was caught in between a rock and a hard place.

"I draw, and I will first de-union Raki and Clare!"

Raki got off of Clare and just ran alongside her. (200 ATK) (1300 ATK)

"Then will use the effect of Turbo Duel Tag Clause 2!"

Cassie laughed. "Turbo Duel Tag Clause 2?!? What the hell is that?!?"

"It's a special rule created by I2 in the late-30's." Trixie explained. "They created three special clauses for Turbo Tag Duels and Turbo Battle Royales, but not many people used them, so their existence isn't too widely known. Clause 2 allows partners in a Tag Turbo Duel to transfer Speed Counters in between their respective Speed Worlds."

There aren't many people these days who use that card.... Itosuki thought to himself as he saw the circle entangle his Fortress. He must be making a theme related to it then! Like a Spellcaster theme! Like.... like!. Itosuki froze for a second all movement in his body stopped, after the memory of the man who was his life savior, his best friend and among other things his hero. No, no it couldn't be! Snap yourself together Itosuki! we have a match to win! Shakily , Itosuki called out another attack.

 

"Now! Machina Gearframe! Attack his face down monster!"

 

The orange machine warrior hopped up and aimed a large punch at the face down card.

Gearframes Attack Hit the card, Bashing its Orange foot into the card. But out from it came a Very Strange shaped rock golem and grabed the arm, throwing it back to itosuki's Side of the field. That was Twilight Voidguard's defence beating gearframes Attack. As two-hundread Life points left Itosuki the amulet glowed again, Draining more Duel engery from itosuki. Another voice echoed Through the Tunnels;

 

"Stop it! You'l Kill us both!"

Ana stopped when she saw a couple people standing before the gate. She took off her helmet and picked up the package. She walked over to one of them. The one with a similar hairstyle to that of Akiza's. " Are you Itsu Solace? i have a package for you. From I think your friend DJ Kaiba. Who I believe is now in prison. I am Ana Lucia Cortez his body guard." Ana said to the woman holding out the package and her hand to Itsu. Hopefully, she dosen't think I'm a COMPLETE wack-job. I dont even know if this was the right ONE. oh well. Hopefully it is. Ana thought to herself.

"Urgh....." Itosuki said, he felt weaker, weaker then he had felt in years, he had not felt a Duel with this much pain since his Yliaster training. He snapped himself back and then viewed the monster on his opponent's side of the field. What the hell is that thing? It doesn't look like any of the cards I've seen before? He then heard a odd voice, a voice that seemed to echo all around him. Must be going insane again... he thought as there was nobody in the tunnel besides him and the boy in sight.

 

"I end my turn" Itosuki said, viewing the monster with displeasure.
