Understood. My apologizes if my app disappointed, as I was filling out two at once. If any more examples of RP skill are required, I could provide other examples of other rp's I was in, or if you wish I could extend the example or app info. I'm trying to be a writer, so when forcing me to extend things I will hold no argument to. As for activeness, there may be certain times I will be inhibited to post, but if so I will notify you. I may not be able to start until Monday, seeing as I will be traveling for the weekend, but If I can earlier I will. I am usually very active Mon, Wed, and Fri during the day plus any time after 10:00 on any weekday, Eastern Standard time. Will that be okay?

Wow, those kids really didn't like Josh, did they? O.o

 

Oh yeah, I was bored. Posting this here... just because. Probably won't have any bearing on the RP at all, unless I decide to incorporate some of the techniques into Daena/Irenia's fighting style.

Daena (and Irenia), as a Tales of Vesperia character. Not really balanced at all, it's all just for the fun of it.

 

Normal Attack: Except for standing attacks, all have 2 or 3 animation variations.

Standing attack: Fires 3 bolts from her crossbow. Always ends a normal attack string, even in Overlimit.

Down attack: Fires a shot from the Elder bow into the ground in front of her.

Forward attack: Fires a shot from the Elder bow directly ahead of her.

Up attack: Fires a shot from the Elder bow at an angle upwards in front of her.

Free Run attack: Swipes with her knife in a wide horisontal arc.

 

Basic Artes:

Arc Shot: Fires a crossbow bolt in a high arc. Pushes aerial foes into the ground.

Spread Shot: Fires many crossbow bolts straight ahead in a wide spread. Quickly becomes inaccurate at longer ranges.

Combination Assault: Quickly attacks a nearby enemy with her knife, then fires her crossbow at close range.

Light Arrow: Fires a large arrow from the Elder Bow. Chargeable

Earth Arrow: Fires a light arrow into the ground, causing a wave of dirt and mud to race toward the target. Chargeable.

Pierce Arrow: Fires a light arrow that travels directly forwards, passing through all obstacles. Chargeable

Zero Arrow: Fires a light arrow that explodes directly in front of Daena.

Float Step: Jumps a long distance backward or forward. Non-damaging

 

Arcane Artes:

Aerial Storm: Jumps over her opponent, pelting them with bolts while in midair. If target is airborne, Daena moves under the target, then fires the crossbow bolts upward.

Target Shot: Fires a bolt, which stuns an enemy, followed up by 5 more.

Detonate: Fires an explosive bolt, which detonates on impact.

Wave Arrow: Fires a large, horizontal wave from the Elder Bow. Chargeable

Fireworks: Fires a large light arrow into the air, which explodes into smaller arrows that home in onto foes. Chargeable

Curve Arrow: Fires a light arrow at the target. When hit, moves on to another target that is behind the first. If no more legal targets are available, arrow explodes, dealing extra damage. Chargeable.

 

Basic Spells:

Wind: A a small tornado is conjured under the foe.

Wind Shear: Blades of wind cut up the foe.

 

Advanced Spells:

Wind Storm: Multiple wind gusts appear from behind Daena, damaging all foes on or near the same line as Daena and the targetted enemy.

 

Altered Artes:

Terra Storm (From Aerial Storm): Pelts the opponent full of bolts in 3 bolt bursts.

Drill Shot (From Arc Shot): Fires a bolt imbued with wind magic, causing it to spin and knock back the enemy

Wind Arrow (From Earth Arrow): Fires an arrow that hits the target instantly.

Tornado Arrow (From Curve Arrow): Fires an arrow that circles an enemy, damaging them by wind magic. Anyone touching the arrow gets damaged, too.

Combination Raid (From Combination Assault): Attacks with knife, the crossbow, then knife again, and finishing with a light arrow from the Elder Bow

Wind Blast (from Wind Shear): Fires a blade of wind from Daena's position, launching the enemy.

 

Burst Artes:

Brilliant Arrow: Fires a long light arrow, dealing mutiple hits to those struck by it.

Furious Arrow (altered Fire): Fires a red light arrow that splits apart a short distance, damaging all in a narrow cone formation in front of Daena

Tranquil Arrow (altered Water): Fires a blue light arrow that hits the target, then deals multiple hits a short while after the initial hit.

Euphoric Arrow (altered Wind): Fires a green light arrow, which explodes into a green mist that coveres the field, lowering all foes' attack and defense.

Adamant Arrow (altered Earth): Leaps back and fires a brown light arrow into the ground, causing multiple earthen stalagmites to rise from the ground around the target, damaging those caught in the are.

 

Mystic Arte:

Split Dimension: Daena presses a button on her housing unit, while Irenia blasts the enemy and those nearby with multiple wind blasts. She then lifts the enemy with a tornado, while Daena fires a large and thick Light arrow at the enemy. The arrow flickers occasionally while charging, to the sound of TV static. Meanwhile, flashes of Daena's Earth appear in the background. The arrow pierces the enemy while the tornado converges onto the target hitting it further. Finally, the arrow explodes into a shower of white light, hitting the enemy one more time.

 

Irenia:"I call upon the forces of nature that reside in this world..."

Daena:"...and bring forth the power wrought by our own hands..."

Both:"...Split Dimension!"

 

Other:

Skill - Multitask: Can cast a spell while charging an chargeable Arte. Can use an Arte while casting a spell.

Skill - Encyclopedia: Small Damage increase on enemies that are scanned.

Skill - Float: Can float in the air.

Well this is mainly for an open discussion on the rpg and things we liked, or didn't like, about it.

 

And yes I thought it would have been great of the twins didn't like Josh. I also added them in, not on a whim, but because if Black ever DOES take his character back I'll STILL have a NCP person for each "tamer group".

 

I'd also like to go on record that so far I like the conversations between Deana and Irenia; not to mention the different personalities of each one.

Yeah, I've been having alot of fun just writing their conversations. I want Irenia to interact with others directly a bit more, the segments with Josh are... okay, though one brought Daena back into the conversation, and the other time there was kind of a mini-crisis. At least she kind of trusts him now, so that's good.

 

As an aside, I originally didn't want Irenia and Daena to speak the same language. For this RP, I think it's better the two can directly communicate, though.

 

...and it looks like more people will try to enter this rundown house o.o. So it seems, anyway.

Ah you are speaking of Evelyn[Andx's character] and her group ^^ Tbh when I randomly placed all of you on the map, which yes I actualy did to it randomly . . . hell it woulda been more acurat to say I might as well have thrown a dart at a picture of Nomen's map XD

 

But either way it ended up that Deana/Josh and Evelyn's group ended up getting closer together. Does this mean they'll meet up or will some unforseen event make their paths cross a a later date?

That all depends on me posting again. And as for that I'm quite sorry I haven't been posting as of late. It's not that I've lost interest in Tamers it's that I got really caught up in an RP I was running. I'll get you a post soon though to be sure.

Personality: Ryu's personalilty is very outgoing, and he does speak his mind even if it means he will get beat up. Hes very hyper, and always looking on the good side, and never gives up hope.

The Tanto is a type of dagger that is very thin, and razor sharp. Although Ryu has put a modification on his Tanto, and give the blade too the handle more of a jagged type cuts, to give it more ripping action. He normally carrys this on the right side of his body.

His katana is another custom modificated weapon by Ryu. He made the blade of his Katana alot thinner, but also crafted a thin sheet of metal on the blade edge, and sharpend it to a point. This gives cutting power, and accuracy with the blade.

I - The Start

Ryu was born in Canada, Nova Scotia. He grew up in a small town next to the ocean side, where he loved to go for swims regulary. When he was around 7 years old he started going to a real school having been home schooled for the first couple years. He found it was easy to make friends, by being the class clown, and always making a fool of him self. He got into fights regulary not putting up any crap from other people in the class.

 

After mulitple fights, and complaints in the school he was soon booted out from the school. He moved to P.E.I, where he lived till he was 12. His mom hated the outdrawn pace of it so they got onto a plane, and they where going to fly to America to start a new life. While on the plane a lightning strike had hit the plane, causing it too crash land into a mountian range. His mom, and everyone in the plane crash had died BUT Ryu. He climbed out into the snow fallen land with burns all over his chest, and the back of his legs. He noticed two figures in the distance, and soon fainted from blood loss, and shock.

 

II - The Awakening

 

Ryu came awake inside a igloo type hut. He soon ment the family who had taken him in, they where locals who lived in the mountian. They radioed for help to come get him. He was soon returned to his Grandmothers house. He had finally noticed the news about the ruins while watching TV being bored. He than noticed the game Advertisement soon after the AD. He went to the store, and bought the game to try it out. He logged into the game. He designed his character to look just like him the burns, and all. He was soon sucked into the game to be caught in this new world. After traveling for hours on end in nothingness, he noticed a figure in the distance it was a Wraith. The Wraith scared him at first, he attempted to run, but the Wraith was obviously faster. He soon got to know the Wraith. He was a Magican he chose to tutor Ryu in the art of Magic.

Thoughts of this role play: I love the story line of this Roleplay, and I see a large range of use of my Imagination in this, and look forward to this being my first real Serious RP on YCM.

Ryu woke up in his bed with sweaty palms. His wraith had moved up beside him, and nudged him awake from his sleep. He knew something was wrong, he stood up from the bed, and stumbled too gain some balance. He walked out from his house to notice a Dragon had set foot infront. The Dragon wasn't nice ethier, he knew he had to do something. His Wraith moved beside him as he took on his battle stance. He removed the Katana from his back, and allowed it to fall on his chest in a defence poiston. He bowed his body to the Dragon out of respect for there next fight.

 

He than flickerd from his spot towards the Dragon. His Wraith sensed this, and moved with him towards it.

Personality: Arty is a very sadistic girl, and a creepy person to be around. She normally talks while being invisbile which creeps alot of people out.

Techniques:

Phase Walk - Over the years of training Arty has learned to allow his body to pass through soild objects, although this does drain alot of his lenergy.

Visbility - Over the years she has learned how to be Visible at her own will.

Screech - Over the years of training Arty has learned the Technique of how too Screech a very high, and unpleasent tone.

 

Other Interesting Facts: Arty has connected a bond to Ryu that allows her to speak too him through thoughts.

Name: Altaria Tidor

 

Age: 16

 

Astrological Sign: Rat (Yang / Water)

 

Gender: Female

 

Origin Country: England

 

Appearance: Most people, when meeting Altaria, will first meet eyes with her, and most jump back as a result. Altaria's eyes hold an aura of emotion; if she knows you well, they are a warm and deep blue, and inviting and good-willed color. But when she does not know you well, they are an icy field of periwinkle, chilling to the bone. In her right iris is the shape of a star, with 6 prongs, in deep black. Her hair is brunette, straight and long, while her skin is pale. She is about 5' 6" in height, and weighs around 105.

 

Personality: Altaria is not easy when meeting new people. She does not talk much, and usually in a conversation, Altaria watches, though remains silent, even if she has something to say. She speaks when spoken to, and even then, she may studder over some words, in pure shyness. Due to this, Altaria has time to think. She would always use her knowledge to identify people's emotions, and take in her surroundings. She has always been a good scholar, skipping her last year of Prim due to her extrodinary learning abilities. She does not like to boast, but people believe that Altaria believes she is on top of the world, and never speak to her due to this. She did make a few other friends who were shy and non-talking, except for one who rabbled on and on. When someone asks her why she does not talk freely, she simply answers, as if rehearsed, "Because words can make all the difference."

Weapons:

Star

Star is a special staff which Altaria can only use. The staff heals everyone in the vincinity by an amount, and reduces all enemies' defence and resistance by an amount for a while. The staff is colored white and gold, and, unlike normal staves, has a metal ring circling the orb in the middle, colored gold. The staff also has wings right below the orb and rings. When used, the orb at the top of the rod part of the staff glows, and the ring begins to rotate, slower, then faster. As this occurs, a small orb of light appears over Altaria, then bursts, ending the spinning and glowing. The wave of bright light produced from the burst extends out to a range of 40 or so feet, out, upwards, and downwards. Any ally caught in the blast glows gold for a second or two, then the glow fades. Any enemy in the blast glows red, then the red fades. Usually, using this staff takes a lot of energy, so Altaria takes a break after using it 4 times. (Epic upgrade of Fortify)(Range of effect determined by Magic Attack)

 

Bane

Bane is known as Star's counterpart. Altaira is deprived of her health, and in exchange, all enemy units within range are stunned/paralyzed, and have their defence and resistance reduced by an amount for a while. The staff is colored black and silver, and has a metal ring, similar to Star's, circling the orb in the midde, colored silver. The staff has small spikes right before the ring and orb touch the staff, about the size of Altaria's thumb. When used, the eerie orb lights a sinister red, matching the orb's color. The ring begins to rotate, slow at first, then fast. During this, a small orb of darkness appears above Altaria's head, then bursts, ending the spinning and glowing. The ones hit by the dark aura emitting from the burst glow black, and seem as if in pain. The glowing stops after a second or two, as the ones affected hit the ground, stunned. Since the exertion of power is great, and the loss of health adds on to the weariness, Altaria can use it 4 times, but, like Star, only uses it 3 times, to prevent weariness when she needs to heal others. (Ummm, Elsleep, maybe?)(Range of effect determined by Magic Attack)

 

Rejuvinate

A staff which removes all conditions from a nearby ally. The staff is red.

 

Lit

A staff which restores the health of an ally in the vincinity by an amount. (Psychic copy)

 

 

 

Bio: Altaria lived under a very rich and prominent family in England. She had many personal items and a lot of money, so most would think her talkative and boastful, with such fortunes. Instead, she was very shy and silent, choosing only to speak when spoken to, and never complained or made a fuss. Altaira attended a rich private school in her neighborhood, which happened to be one of the richest in London. She was excellent at school, and the teachers soon moved her up a grade due to her ability to learn quickly. She was never bullied or teased, but she knew there were people talking about her behind her back, believing that her status made her snobby. She was hurt by this, for, as all the people of this world, wished only to be liked by her peers, not be shunned by them. This feeling of misunderstanding bottled up in her, since she would never talk or make a fuss, and therefore could not place the burden on any one who still loved her, even her mother, which was her closest bond. Soon this sadness filled the bottle, and was ready to spill after the last wisper of her name passed by her ears. She began to think of what to say, but what could she do? They would shun her even more, and she would regret her actions. As the group of wisperers looked up, noticing Altaria stopping, and hoping she didn't hear, Altaria continued her walk down the hall. But, before they could take a sigh of relief a female peer of theirs came up and scolded the group on behalf of Altaria. Ever since, they had been friends. Altaria's friend was named Alex, and the easiest way to describe her was "talkative". They soon started to visit eachothers houses, and never split apart. When Alex introduced Altaria to the game called Tamers, Altaria was enchanted immediately. She started to play, and decided that she would do best as a healing unit, seeing as she could fit no other, and enjoyed helping others. Alex and Altaria made a great team, defeating countless foes with their excellent teamwork. Altaria soon found and befreinded a very talkative Carbuncle, Alex saying it covered all of Altaria's weak spots. As the two players gathered more people on their team, Altaria and the Carbuncle, named Bryce made it their goal to let no teammate die, especially Alex.

 

Other Interesting Facts: Altaria attempts to carry around many staves for her needs, and tries to be prepared for any occasion. The staff Bane has high attack and critical, but low speed. She might actually be able to cause damage with it. The other staves are useless for physical. She happens to be very fast-moving.

 

Thoughts of this role play: ... I have no thoughts on this role-play. Honestly, there is too much to say that I can't say anything.

Clemia immediately looked backwards, the sirens getting louder. She then faced foward, and analyzed her chances of escaping. If the Celestial Guards were smart enough, they might have sent 20, maybe 30 after her. It was obvious after the damage her group did at Fort Lyra that they were facing something powerful at this fort, since any reasonable person knows that this fort is part of the Triangle. Their defences did seem a little higher... They might even have General Tyrone in the lead, which is bad. After the stress of thinking, she looked around with new eyes of curiosity. The forest she was in was lush and green, even under a New Moon she could see the outlines of color in this beauty of a forest. Even so, the fading of cover was noticable to the west, so that wasn't an option. Going south was definately not the option, as that was was the fort itself.

 

Another wailing of the sirens. It had blew the beautiful sound of crickets and cicadas away with its annoying, constant tune. Clemia looked northeast, and saw that the forest got deeper. SHe doubted that was a wise coice, considering she not only didn't know what was in there, but she may not have been able to get out. So there was technically only one way out... up. She had scanned enough of the base to make a clear route, and alternate routes just in case. There was no need going back. There was only up.

 

Her favorite part.

 

The sound of cracking twigs and rustling branches approached. Maybe if she timed it right, she could knock the guards out while taking flight, so that there was at least some fun in this mission. She took out her staff, an interesting mix of blue and white, with a periwinkle orb at the top, the orb enclosed by two rings which were given a gilded look of silver from the stars above. She waved it in the air without an incantation, as all she needed to do was leave. The orb in the middle glowed, emitting an icy-cold white from its inside. As regular, 8 triangles of light appeared around the orb, circling it, symbolizing the sun. A wave of air came rolling through, carrying the scent of fresh pine from some faraway place.

 

When the guards looked up after being knocked out, their target seemed to disappear. They glanced at eachother, recognizing that only 10 wasn't enough. At least they got some tibit of information.

 

Clemia looked down at the forest, and cackled, in triumph and in laughter at how dimwitted the man giving the orders must've been. He probably thought 10 to stall when they've plowed through around a hundred at the last fort. Well, if he didn't know then, he soon will, though it would be too late for him. She then straightened, and flew off to the north, heading towards the rendevous point.

 

And as she flew, a trail of golden sparkles were scattered behind her, which were picked up by the wind, and flew to the faint, twinkling star of Altair above...

Name: Bryce

 

Type: Carbuncle

 

Gender: Male

 

Appearance: Bryce's coat is fully gold, his eyes a shade of orange, and he stone on his head is see-through. He is about the size of both of Altaria's hands spread out, and weighs 11 or so pounds. The crystal seems light and not very dense.

 

Personality: Bryce happens to be very talkative and maybe a little boastful, while carefree. Altaria usually is the one apologizing fror his wrong-doings.

 

Skill: Blessing

 

Techniques: Usually he enters the front lines, and may jump onto the head of another ally, allowing the skill of Blessing to take effect. The effect of his Blessing, though, is only about half of Altaria's, so it isn't as effective. He might be able to use a staff if he could at least carry it.

 

Other Interesting Facts: If he doesn't like you, he'll headbutt you hard. If he does like you, he'll headbutt you hard. And whatever gem is in his forehead hurts. A lot. Yet he doesn't fight enemies.

I wonder if Rift's team and Sir Irwin's team are ever gonna meet...and Jake...is there gonna be a dominant villain in this series? Like some super evil being your keeping secret until you reveal him and he completley WHIPS half of the players?...or is that wishful thinking on my part

in order to get one of the "better" monsters you have to prove to me that you're a really good rpger and have little to no potential of God Modding during the entire length of the rpg.

Or fill out information for practically every nation in the RP and in the process become the co-owner. That's what I did. :D

 

I wonder if Rift's team and Sir Irwin's team are ever gonna meet...and Jake...is there gonna be a dominant villain in this series? Like some super evil being your keeping secret until you reveal him and he completley WHIPS half of the players?...or is that wishful thinking on my part

You know for the moment Rift is only an NPC right? Not that I'm bitter or anything. <_<
