When a face-up monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can send 1 Spell or Trap Card you control to the Graveyard to change the target to this card. My current assumption is due to the ice theme of this card, a storm at night could be considered a "white night". There's no rider, so "knight" would be no more appropriate. A dragon that can be used for both Trade In and Advance Draw, and has a Lightning Rod effect with build-in protection in a 3000ATK, 2500DEF body isn't going to be outclassed by much.
