Pravus Academy (Started/Accepting) (PG13)

[Felix Culpa]

Klaus dashed forward and pounced onto Balthazar, bringing him onto the ground. "You are no match for an Alder King like me!" Klaus said, creating a ball of energy in his hands. Klaus slammed the ball of energy into his enemy's chest. "Fight me, now, Balthazar."

 

Klaus didn't seem to want to stop this battle ad was pumped up on energy. With the hand on Balthazars chest was absorbing energy and feeding Klaus while he was also using it to increase his strength.

[Jake the Sage]

"W-What are you talking about!?" Jacob asked feeling his energy being drained away by the stranger. He didn't like the idea of striking back at someone, but if it was to get them off of him and make them stop sapping his energy he didn't have a choice. Thrusting his hands at Klaus' chest he sent out a wave of spiritual energy that natrually repulsed the monster and threw him backwards. Standing up Jacob coughed as his energy replenished itself automatically and then looked around, spotting Akima off in the distance.

[Felix Culpa]

"Sorry, Jacob," Klaus said, getting up and brushing himself off. "Your demon was getting a little rowdy, so I had to stop you one way or another. But I think we should get a stronger seal, so he can't break free like that again." Klaus could make a seal just fine, but it was a trouble for him if he wanted to get rid of the seal on a moment's notice, because there were special contracts involved in seal-making.

 

"So, Jacob," Klaus said, "What do you say? We really need to put a seal on the demon though, even if its a small one."

[Jake the Sage]

At the mention of sealing up his demon Jacob began to wave his hands around quickly, completely in shock, and was talking a mile a minute how that wouldn't be possible. Noticing all of the eyes on him Jacob's shy nature began to take hold of him as he scooted over behind the nearest person, Tana, and continued to talk to Klaus on not doing anything with a seal, ". . . and its not like it will actually work."

[Felix Culpa]

"Fine, fine," Klaus said, waving his hands in front of him as if to show he was unarmed, "I just didn't want to run the risk of having to hurt you again for destroying the school! As the freshman class vice president, it's my job to make sure the school doesn't get destroyed! But look at what we've done now, Jacob."

 

Klaus walked off to inspect some damage, leaving Tana, Jacob, and Akima to their worries. He had a strange feeling about some of the events that had just gone on. Jacob seemed a little too overprotective of a destructive demon to be safe, so Klaus decided he would keep an eye on Jacob.

Kris smiled. "I think it can be arranged."

Seiren sat down still speaking into the phone, "By a host's capsule demon, do you mean the person who is my master's prison? If so then his name is Lyon Tsyuuki and of the Pureblood Vampire family. Because he is a Pureblood Vampire and I am a Noble Vampire I was rarely able to get close enough to him to do anything, and during the few times I was close enough it didn't matter. You see against a Pureblood Vampire the powers of other, non-Pureblood vampires are useless. I cannot fight Lyon Tsyuuki simply because he is a Pureblood Vampire." Seiren stopped and realized that she still didn't have a name by which to call the person she was talking too. "I'm sorry miss, but I don't have a name by which to call you. What would you like me to call you?"

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Krieg chuckled a bit, he liked to start conversations pretending he was already angry with the person. "What year are you." Krieg wanted to start with something simple, he figured that if this girl was in the first years then he could use her to get some pretty good info about the types of students that have also arrived at the school, being an upperclassman he didn't really want to go around asking every first year what type of creature they were.

[Felix Culpa]

"I'm a first year student, but I just entered the school today," Kris said, sighing. "I'm probably the best fighter in the grade, because I don't see many of the students stacking high yet. There was one boy I thought could fight me, but he was weak, according to someone else. Now I'm just on the lookout for someone who can fight me."

 

Kris was intentionally vague with the last part of that, considering she didn't want to spill Diabolus' plans to some complete stranger.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Krieg was smirking under the shadow of his hat. "A first year eh, this is a pretty good place ta start yer life's journeys but if yer not careful you could have ended here as well." Krieg said. He then stood up and grabbed his cane, using it to prop himself up. "Well ya said ya were looking fer a fight, let me have a go." Krieg said, and then waited fer a reply.

[Felix Culpa]

Kris smiled politely at him. "Well, I guess I should. You're a dragon, right, but you can't use your dragon form. Either that, or your human skin has magic of its own cloaking it from my sensors."

 

Kris stood up and walked out of the cafeteria and poised herself for battle in the dojo. Okay, Kris, Kris thought to herself. Limit the destruction and finish this quickly. This Seiren character seems a little dangerous.

As Klaus left Akima smiled at Jacob, "Hey, I'll be right back, and then we can continue what we were doing earlier." He then turned and spread his wings. With a single flap he was up to the roof of the building, landed infront of Natalie, and collapsed to his knees. He leans back and sits down, "I'm sorry if I worried you, but I had to help Jacob." He smiles at Natalie trying to act as if the whole fight had been nothing but a big joke.

 

After Akima left Lyon walked up to Tana, wrapped his arm around her shoulders, hugged her tightly, and kissed her forehead. She looked back up at him and smiled embarassed. Then Lyon looked down at Jacob, "Hey Jacob, will you be okay on your own without us until Akima comes back to you?"

[Jake the Sage]

Jacob looked around at the remaining mass of monsters which had gathered to watch the fight; still feeling malicious intent coming off of each of them. And why wouldn't they? Balthazar had willingly used his spiritual powers to fight against a monster, and those with spiritual powers were not welcomed, due to the fact hunters use the same technique. Looking back to Lyon he shook his head and was obviously afraid, "I would prefer if you stayed here."

Lyon turned and looked out at the crowd sensing some of the monster's malicious intent

[Felix Culpa]

"Haha," Klaus laughed, looking at Jacob. "Those are some interesting powers you displayed in your fight with Akima. Spiritual energy is a power that the hunters use, isn't it? But, it's not their strongest powers either."

 

"I'm sorry," Kris said, into the phone, "But I cannot divulge this information to you." She turned toward her fighting partner. "I'm sorry, but I have to cut this short, as I have an urgent meeting to attend."

 

Jared was walking away from the group watching the fight as soon as said fight ended and walked to his dorm, where he saw a familiar-looking person, staring at his door. "Are you Jared Durand?" he said, looking at Jared when he approached. "I'm trying to find him."

 

"Yes.." Jared said, "Why?"

 

"I'm Silas!" he said, smiling widely to Jared. "Remember? We were always playing up at the royal castle whenever you weren't off in the human world!"

 

"Prince Silas?!" Jared said, jumping backwards from shock. "Is that really you? You look so different from when I last saw you. It has to have been, what 10 years?!"

 

"Not prince anymore, Jared," Silas said, his face becoming morbid. "I was exiled a few years after you left because I couldn't use my Alder King powers without consuming pounds of food to have enough energy. The whole can't absorb energy thing got in the way of me being able to be the prince, so my father took away the status. I've been going from place to place, and when I heard about Jared Durand being back in the Demon world, I decided I'd come here."

[-Genesis-]

Lyon turned and looked out at the crowd sensing some of the monster's malicious intent. *I could easily use my ability to wipe all of their memories of the fight, but that would leave a lot of unanswered questions and too many people with memories missing. I guess Jacob's with us for now.* He looked down at Jacob, "Alright come with us. Don't worry as long as we're around they won't try anything." As he said this he looked at the group and radiated Valter's bloodthirsty intent at them, making it obvious that if they wanted to do anything to Jacob they'd have to deal with him.

 

Seiren shook her head, *I don't like being kept waiting besides I don't need her name, just something to call her. I don't care if it's just Power-sama. I think I'll go introduce myself in person.* She smiled at Issac, "I'm sorry, but I have to go. Goodbye." Seiren disappeared in a flash before Issac could respond. She reappeared sitting on the awning over the enterance to the lunchroom with her legs hanging over the side swinging. *I'll just wait for her here. I can sense everything she does so if she goes anywhere I'll know.*

[Jake the Sage]

"I-I am not a hunter if that is what you mean!" Jacob half yelled half paniced once Klaus had finished laughed, only to blurt out that it wasn't the strongest hunter skill. A sudden chill ran down his spine when he himself felt Valter's bloodthirsty essense and then looked over to him; seeing the others acting as if was not a big deal and left. With everyone now out of the way and, more importantly, Jacob was in no immediate danger of being hanged by an angry mob, he let out a sigh of relief.

[Felix Culpa]

Kris walked out of the dojo, shaking her head. "I hope I can get out of this mess of a school soon. I just have to find the one who is destined to kill the demon king and kill him," she thought to herself, walking forward. A strange person was looking at the dojo door with a curious look about him. He had a strange aura around him, like a coat of unrecognized power.

 

"Oh, hello there," the man said, looking at her strangely. "Oh god, I think I may need glasses. Everything's blurred.. I was just walking through the forest, but I wound up walking to this huge castle that just appeared out of nowhere."

 

Someone who doesn't know about Pravus? Kris thought. No demon doesn't know about Pravus.. He's a human?! Does that mean he's a hunter?

 

"Demons, what are you talking talking about?" the man said, looking at her strangely.

 

"You heard that?!" Kris said, in shock. "I thought that.. You're human, aren't you!?"

 

"Of course," he said.

 

"Come with me," Kris said.

[-Genesis-]

As soon as everyone started to back off and walk away Lyon immediately began to suppress Valter's subconsciousness. *I only needed your intent, not you yourself, now go back!* *Oh, come now, that's not fair at all! Using me as you see fit, I'm not some dog at your beck and call.* *Okay then, I promise you that if any of them take a shot at Jacob they're all yours.* *Hu, fine, but I'll hold you to that.* With that Valter's subconsciousness faded and Lyon's demeanor relaxed. Tana had sensed the change when Lyon unleashed Valter's malicious intent and knew when he'd suppressed it. She looked down at Jacob, *He's probably scared of Lyon at the moment because of that, but I can't deny that it worked.* She smiled at Jacob and held out her hand to him, "Sorry about that, do you still want to stay with us? We don't mind if you do."

 

Seiren then noticed a shift in the energy she was sensing, *So it wasn't actually her here at the lunchroom. She moved shortly after talking to me, it was just a mass of residual energy from her being in one place for so long.* She closed her eyes and stretched her range and found the woman who she'd talked to earlier. *Well my best choice would be to track and follow her in person since following her by sense won't work if she stays in one place long enough and then moves.* Seiren then stood up and disappeared again, this time heading after the real Kris.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Krieg watched Kris leave the place where they were about to have their spar. "Heh, that one's got a lot on her mind, almost to much fer a first year." Krieg's suspicions about the young lady excelled but he had not time to address them. "A first year ta have so much knowledge about me isn't good, she must be something more..." Krieg said, then turned off to go to his dorm room where he could settle for a rest.

[Felix Culpa]

Kris walked with the alleged human back to her dorm room, hoping that no one would find suspiscion in that an apparently blind man was following Kris around. "How come I can see you better than all my surroundings?" the human said.

 

"What's your name?" Kris asked him, ignoring his question, because he didn't know.

 

"My name?" he said, thinking. He smiled widely, "I can't remember. Ever since I came to this strange place where I can't see anything, most of my memories are gone. But, you can call me Astor. That's a cool name, I think."

[Jake the Sage]

Jacob nodded his head meekly, trying not to show that he was blushing in front of Tanna, and walked up beside her. He had never had much time around the opposite sex since he was always on the run and what not. Not to mention it was kind of hard to be in any serious relationship when you looked like you were their younger brother; something he had thought he was used too in his first hundred years of living, but soon grew to be too annoying. Waiting for Akima he would sit down, stand up, wander around a bit and then finally return to sitting beside Tanna.

Kris and the supposed human were talking in her dorm when Isaac reentered, rubbing his temples. "Oh, hello, Kris," he said, throwing himself onto his bed. "I've just returned from the headquarters to give an initial report for our stay here. Ezekiel didn't seem to secure without two of his best fighters at his side. He's getting old, you know. The body he has now, the Ezekiel you've known for 142 years, wasn't built to last an eternity, even though it seems to have so far. Draining the memories out of those intruders really took some of his spirit energy, but he seems to be recovering." Only at the end of his catch-up with Kris did he notice the other person in the room, and he seemed shocked.

 

"Hello," Astor said, smiling like an idiot at Isaac. "Nice to meet you. I'm Astor."

 

Isaac pushed up his glasses before they slid down the length of his nose. "Hello," Isaac said, "My name is Isaac. You do not have any measurable spirit energy, do you, Astor? You're human."

 

"Yes, I am," Astor said. "Why is everyone pointing out the obvious today? Of course I'm human!"

 

Isaac laughed to himself and looked to Kris. "You are in the Demon Realm, Astor. This means that you have some sort of magical shield around you, allowing you to freely pass between the Human Realm and the Demon Realm without being caught in the middle by the Reapers. Very interesting. Kris, is this your work?"

 

Kris shook her head. "Take him to headquarters. He'll be useful there. Tell Ezekiel that I asked him if he could train Astor for me while I take out my recon work here."

 

Isaac sighed. He turned, "Come, Astor."

Jared and Silas were catching up on old times, telling each other what had happened to them over the past decade, before Silas' exile and Jared's extended journey into the Human Realm. "You know," Silas said, "Your dad took me in for a while after my dad kicked me out, but then the King found out so he sent troops, your dad's own men in to take me back. Your dad got me out of the area as quickly as possible, and pointed me in the direction of a town he used to live in, where I could take shelter while the military searched for me, though I think your dad pulled some strings and took the men who were supposed to search my area out of that area."

 

"Really?" Jared said, laughing. "I haven't seen my dad in years, Silas. Ever since I moved to the Human Realm, I never really saw him after that. He's still alive, I suppose, because everyone still respects him, but people respect the dead."

 

"He's alive," Silas said. "Who do you think told me that you were in Pravus?"

Natalie just frowned and Tackled Akima to the ground, She was worried that he was going to die and then it turned out it was just a big joke. "Really, Just a big joke huh, I would seriously rip out your throat if i didn't like you" . Natalie said as she helped Akima up and just gave him the angry look, Her arms crossed across her chest as she taped one of her arms with her fingers. "I hope you do know you do owe me big time right" . Natalie said as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and waited for his response, Natalie could never stay mad at Akima for a long time.

Krieg, who had just left his dorm room, made his way down the main stars of the school. He went outside the entrance hall doors and then into a vast, open, training field. The training field was covered with a dirt foundation with trees and rocks all over to make as targets and obstacles. Krieg drew a rapier from his cane and then attached the can part of his sword onto his belt, similar to the way someone would have a sheath on their belt. Krieg jumped into the air, at least six, and flipped his rapier so that the point was facing down and with great force he slammed into a rock and cracked it into pieces. "Into pieces...such is the nature of my life." Krieg said, sheathing his rapier and using it as a cane again. Krieg started making his way back. Why is it that my dragonic abilities won't manifest... Krieg thought to himself.

[Felix Culpa]

Jared and Silas went down to the training field and saw Krieg standing there. "Who's that?" Jared thought, not recognizing who this strange person was. He seemed to ahve a strong physical aura shielding his magical powers, so neither Jared, nor Silas could tell what kind of demon he was.

 

Jared went over and waved to Krieg. "Hello," Jared said, smiling politely. "Who are you?"
