Pravus Academy (Started/Accepting) (PG13)

[Felix Culpa]

Klaus turned around to see Seiren standing there. "I don't think I know you, but it's nice to meet you," Klaus said, waving back to her and motioning for her to sit. "But you have no idea what you could get yourself into by agreeing to come with us, and I don't feel like divulging that much information to an outsider. Sorry, Seiren. I'm Klaus Durand."

 

Klaus looked down at his watch. "I've got to tell Jared about what happened last ni-" Once he stood up, he saw Kris and Isaac sitting in the corner. "That's not good," Klaus said, sitting back down immediately. "Kris and Isaac are here."

[Jake the Sage]

Laughing Balthazar looked at the massive sword, hanging above his head and ready to cleve him in half, "Do it! Come one! What are you waiting for!? Do it! Do it! Swing your sword down now!!!"

 

A sudden flash of light made the entire building shake, though did no damage, as Akima's Judgement Sword cleved right through the enemy. Slamming into the ground the right half of Balthazar's body look up and over at Natalie with what could be called a 'grin'. Blood dripped all over the ground as the remaining half of Balthazar's body unexplicitly stood in the air. Blinking possibly its last few moments of life the demon none the less spoke, "Very good . . . but still not good enough monster!"

 

What appeared to be shadows leaked out of the left half of Balthazar's cleved body and connected with the other half remaining on the ground. Pulling his other part towards him like a crane the entire body soon found itself regenerating and then becoming hole. Cracking his head neck Balthazar's shadow mass took hold of his swords, which has remained on the ground, and lifted tham back up to him, "Shall we continue?"

Natalie was shocked, Both by the sudden transformation of Artemis and how Balthazer's body slammed into the ground, Then suddenly re-attaching to his body. "Well looks like im suddenly dragged into this battle" . Natalie sighed heavily as she jumped up to Balthazer, Using the buildings as help to get her to the top. "Well look who decided to join you two" . Natalie said loudly as she thrusted Artemis into Balthazer's chest, Thinking that it might do some sort of damage.

[Jake the Sage]

Laughing, the sword having plunged through his chest, Balthazar grabbed her wrist and squeezed down on it enough to cause a great deal of pain. Dragging the sword out of his chest the wound began to heal as the other hand began to glow with white, pure, energy. Slamming it into her stomach Blathazar made her fly back, her skin burning at his touch, and then addressed Akima, "Do you wonder about this?"

 

He held his hand up, white fire emminating from it, "About how a demon such as I may wield holy powers?"

[-Genesis-]

 

Akima flew quickly, caught Natalie and smiled, "Are you alright?" He placed one of his hands around Natalie's injured wrist and one against her injured chest and healed her wounds. "Listen Natalie, the worst thing he can do to me is hurt you, so please worry about yourself for now. Your move got him a perfect position for me." He glided down and let her stand on the roof. "I'll be okay, I promise." With that Akima flew back up into the sky and answered Balthazar's question, "Fire isn't holy power, Light is!" Then Akima yelled, "Artemis!" Suddenly the weapon was covered in crackling energy and the energy enveloped Balthazar and inflicted excruciating pain. Akima smirked, "For such a powerful demon you don't think to not touch an anit-monster and anti-demon weapon!" He raised his hand and Artemis flew from Balthazar's hand to Akima. "With this weapon I call checkmate!" He spun Artemis around and pointed the end at Jacob's demon and from the end burst 12 tendrils of light energy which went straight for Balthazar, "This attack won't miss as they will follow you and harm only you!" Akima smiled at the thought of what he had in mind next.

 

 

Seiren smiled back at Klaus, "Well thank you, I'm Seiren Toujo and-" she stopped for a second as she perked her ears up, "I cam hear a fight going on. And I can sense the two people's powers? They're really powerful too.... I think one's an..... Archangel, and the other seems more like a hybrid of some kind. The hybrid is obviously more powerful than a single archangel can handle, but the hybrid seems to still be getting his power under control though and the archangel has some sort of special weapon which may actually give him a serious advantage." She gave her attention back to Klaus and Tana only to see the color drain from Tana's face.

 

Tana looked at Seiren stunned when she spoke of a fight, and when she mentioned an archangel her thoughts immediately went to Akima, but when she mentioned that the hybrid was much too strong for the archangel the color drained from her face. "Klaus we need to go check this out, if not for the fact that it could be Akima for the fact that we're the Newspaper Club."

 

Lyon was on the roof of the school watching the fight when he saw Akima put Natalie down on the roof of the dorm, "Dammit, unleashing that kind of power with so many students around, what're they thinking!" Lyon leapt to the ground and started herding the students away from the dorm where the fight was going on. "Come on everyone back away! Come on, move! I said GET BACK!" as he yelled the final words he used his power to shove back the students who were encroaching on the fight. *Dammit! If only Tana was here she could create an ice wall to keep them back.*

[Felix Culpa]

Klaus paused. "I was just thinking the same thing, and I think I know who the other one is, as well. Let's get going. Freeze both of them, and I'll subdue them."

 

Klaus dashed off to the battle, sensing the uproars in energy as the fight intensified. Klaus found Jacob and Akima midfight, as Akima was talking to Natalie. This is an interesting fight. Akima is fighting this demon, that I cannot identify. The energy is foreign, and the body seems to change with the amount of energy the demon puts into fighting, so I couldn't possibly identify the demon's student form. Klaus was going to have to sit out for a moment to assess Akima's enemy.

 

"Akima!" Klaus yelled, from behind Akima's demon opponent. "Who are you fighting?"

[Jake the Sage]

"Holy fire is still holy," Balthazar laughed as Akima set Natalie down on the ground, then whispered to her that what she had done got him in a perfect move for Akima to attack, which the demon coulnd't help but laugh at. Flying back up to facer him Akima then called out his weapons name and a short of electricity coarsed through his entire body, actually sending shocks of pain to run through his body, and then leapt from his hand; landing back in it's owners, "So checkmate, eh?! Then bring it! Show me what you've got!"

 

Pointing his weapon at him, Akima's weapons bursted with twelve tendrils of light that arched in the air and aimed directly at him; Akima mentioning that the attack would follow him no matter where he ran to. Grinning Balthazar knew exactly what the attack could do and what it was capable of, after all the only thing Akim had done was make his move first, "Don't I already know . . ."

 

Spinning his two hook swords in the air he thrusted them forward, twenty four of the exact same light tendrils sprouting out and arching through the air as well, and while there was enough to block Akima's attack the doubled ammount allowed him to randomly strike where ever he pleased. Some crashed into the building, others hit students with disasterous results, and two in particular were aimed for those who had straid too close onto their private fight; those two being Natalie and Klaus.

[Felix Culpa]

Klaus transformed into his demon form and deflected the light that tried to attack him, which caused a hole in a building on the opposite side of the courtyard. "I guess I'll be responsible for property damage at the end of this, if you're not," Klaus laughed, still joking even though he had a serious look on his face. "You should really try to stop this, Klaus, so start now."

 

Klaus removed his gloves, revealing the spirals on his palms. "Bring it on," he said to the demon in front of him.

[Hitsugaya The Ice God]

Adrian looked out of his window seeing the fight going on and realized Jarod and Klaus fighting so he knew it would be fine there was no point in joining the fight and causing more chaos. He got comfortable and began to watch wondering how long it would take with all the people there fighting as people rushed around the dorms.

 

Anson starred down at the commotion to see what was going on then realized that it was a released demon so he knew it would rampage the school or cause some minor damage.

[Felix Culpa]

"You know," said Isaac, appearing behind Anson in a puff of smoke, pushing up his glasses, "This fight won't go on much longer, once the Yuki-onna gets here. Your entertainment won't last long, and I'm not allowed to join in, though that Klaus boy angers me so. He was one of the party who invaded the Headquarters, though I think so was the Akima boy. Now to think, if I wasn't under strict orders to keep a low profile, I'd be able to join in."

 

Isaac smirked, as he was slowly convincing Anson to join in the fighting, to help the demon. "The Alder King boy is reckless, and will most likely end that poor demon's life. Isn't it our job to bring justice down on the wrongdoers? That is our job as the eyes of Archaeus, Anson."

[-Genesis-]

Lyon was still holding back the students when two tendrils from the demon's attack came down at the students. Lyon used his power to try and stop the attack, and since it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular and he was trying to stop it, the two tendrils redirected and hit Lyon. He was thrown back with a hole in the lower left of his abdomen and an impression in his right shoulder. He laid there for a bit as his body visibly began to heal quickly, but not quick enough so he popped a Blood Tablet into his mouth. With the new energy he derived from the tablet his body healed much faster and was done in a minute. He slowly got back up, still a bit sore and went back to trying to the students back and out of harm's way.

 

Quickly Akima flew and blocked the tendril heading toward Natalie with Artemis. Then he turned and yelled to Klaus, "that's Jacob's inner demon! Don't interefere I have to fight alone or I'll lose the deal and I'll have to destroy his seal!" Then Akima, still in the air, but between Balthazar and Natalie, turned to Balthazar, "Alright, the deal was a fight between us, not a fight where you can attack whoever you want. So fight me or you lose your end of the deal by default as I would if I accepted my friends help."

 

Tana ran out after Klaus leaving Seiren behind and arrived at the fight just in time to see Lyon take the attack to protect the other students. And then she looked up at Akima and the demon in time to hear Akima yelling to Klaus that it was Jacob's inner demon that he was fighting and that he had to fight alone. Tana ran to Klaus and put a hand on his shoulder, "Come on, let's protect the other students. If we can't help him fight it's the least we can do."

 

Seiren had disappeared as Klaus and Tana ran to the fight. She actually had watched Issac leave the lunchroom and followed him. To where he was talking with Anson. She walked up behind them and lacing her hands behind her back she smiled and spoke, "I'm sorry to correct you, but you're wrong. The entertainment won't go away yet, because it seems the Archangel and the demon have a deal, which makes it so that neither of them can accept help or attack those uninvolved. So if you tried to help the demon he'd most likely attack you himself. I'm Seiren Toujo, and I wanted to make a proposal to you about your organization, Diabolis I think it's called? Or something like that." She smiled at the stunned looks on their faces as a little girl who looks like she's 14 spoke of a proposition.

[Felix Culpa]

"I can't protect that many people at once," Klaus said. "Alder Kings are fighters, not protectors. So you can go ahead and protect them all you want. What does it matter if Akima breaks a deal with a rampaging demon?"

 

Klaus was talking to his Inner Demon now, because he reverted back to his normal form. Contracts are very binding in this world, Klaus, unlike in the human world, where you can break the terms of the contract. Contracts in the Demon World cannot be broken.

"What would a child like you with no worldly experience have to offer Diabolus? Isaac said. "And how would you know the identity of our organization?"

 

Isaac looked to Anson. "Do you know this person?"

[Hitsugaya The Ice God]

Anson agreed "I guess your right. That is our job." he said as he thought about which to attack first or even when to attack. He began to analyse each students combat styles so he knew just how to take them down. He noticed That Isaac was right the Alder King was reckless and seemed easy to take out. The fact that there were more demons he wasn't sure of their potential made him a little nervous but he also had the demo on his side... Hopefully.

[Jake the Sage]

Balthazar looked over at Klaus and then to Akima, who had saved Natalie from one of his attacks, and then turned his attention to Klaus. Smiling he teleported behind the man and held out his hands, infused with holy power, and simply touched him to cause a burn, "This is private . . . so leave"

 

Causing Klaus' entire arm to be engulf in holy fire Balthazar spread his wings, gave a few powerful beats, and rose back into the air. Holding up his other hand demonic aura flowed out of it, matching his other hand which continued to have holy energies coming out of it.

[Felix Culpa]

Klaus frowned. "You know, this really hurts. It's annoying, too. Dispell." Dispell was a technique that Klaus had taught himself. Any lingering attack that touched his body could be forced away in all direction by creating a thin layer of energy between Klaus and the attack, and then making a contained blast to throw the other attack away. "I chose not to attack because I was told not to. But now that you've attacked me, it's a different game. You're fighting me, on separate terms than your battle with Akima."

[-Genesis-]

Seiren looked at Issac with an interested look, "First, I am not a child despite my looks. And second, how I know about the organization isn't as important as to what I have to offer. I can instantaneously identify the species and energy levels of a monster no matter whether they're in their human form or not as well as from a distance of up to 20 yards. I also possess a photographic memory perfect for reconnaissance or scouting. And on a side note I know the weaknesses of two of the group who you supposedly encountered the other night. All I ask for in exchange is a little help capturing the vessel which is my masters prison, and help releasing my master." Seiren smiled at Issac confidently wondering if he would consider taking her to whoever was in charge to possibly accept her proposal.

 

After Balthazar attacked Klaus, Akima yelled, "Balthazar, stop! Our deal is as binding to you as it is to me. If you attack one of them again you will surrender your end of the deal by default. You don't want that to happen do you?" He spun Artemis around and from it came forth a massive ring of light energy and from that burst hundreds of tendrils of light energy. Akima, still flying between Balthazar and Natalie, yelled to Balthazar again, "This attack is unique to Archangels which means that you can't copy it!" The tendrils encircled Balthazar from all angles and then as one, they all converged on him. Akima then looked at Klaus and yelled, "You can't attack him yet! Here in the Other Realm the conditions of the fight cannot be broken. You can't fight him until our fight ends and the deal resolves, because depending on the outcome of the fight you may not have someone to fight!"

 

Tana glared at Klaus, "Come on, use your head! You can't fight him yet, so help us out here, or at least sit back and analyze him, so that if you get a chance then you'll have an idea of what you're up against!" Then she created an ice wall effectively blocking the students from getting closer to the fight. Lyon then ran over and sighed, "Thanks, crowd control it not my favorite job in the world." Suddenly Tana remembered that Natalie was still in the middle of the fight, so she turned and yelled up to Natalie who was still on the roof, "Natalie, come down here! It's not safe up there!"

[Jake the Sage]

"In due time . . . stupid monster!" Balthazat taunted Klaus as Akima began to speak about how binding their deal was and what not. Balthazar truely wasn't paying attention to him, Akima wasn't saying anything that actually interested him to be honest, and if he wasn't interested . . . he wouldn't listen. Finally after rambeling on like a school child Akima did something worth noting, having spun his weapon around and firing off hundreds of light tendrils that decended on him almost so uniformly that it would be impossible to evade. But who ever said anything about Balthazar being the type to simply 'evade' an attack? Holding his hands close to his chest Balthazar's demonic energies overwhelmed his holy energies, "Can't copy you say? Then why not overpower!?"

 

Releasing a massive wave of his own demonic energy Balthazar not only blocked the attack from Akima, but completely redirected it back towards every single person in range. Explosions rang out across the fields and buildings as the attack, along with Balthazar's remaining demonic energy, washed over the school yard. Knocking Akima, Klaus, Tana, Natalie, and whomever else was unlucky enough to be close enough to the ground. The energy disipated and Balthazar looked down at Akima, his face slowly giving a tired grin, and then fell down on top of him. Placing one foot to Akima's neck, the other rested right ontop of his stomachto ensure he coulnd't breath properly, Balthazar leaned over. His breathing noticably deeper, more strained, he asked for an answer, "You surrender?"

[Felix Culpa]

Isaac sighed and picked up a cell phone, dialing on the number pad quickly. "This is very aggravating, you know, but I'm not the one who makes the choices around here, so you'll have to wait, to see if my reconnaissance team leader will pick up her damned phone!"

 

The number picked up, so Isaac put the phone on speaker mode. "What is it, Isaac?" Kris said, angrily. "I had to leave my curry for this, so it better be good."

 

"I've met a strange person who wants the vessel her Master is in, and she has information on the group who infiltrated the HQ a few days ago," Isaac said into the phone.

 

"Let her talk," Kris said.

"Surrender," Klaus said, looking at Akima. "You don't have a chance. Take the tag and tear it. Our one chance now would be to kill him, on our own terms."

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Krieg, who had finished eating and was drinking his glass of water looked over to Kris, as they were sitting at the same lunch table. He was on his cell phone and Krieg coughed a little to try to get his attention, but that failed. "Your not a very good lunch mate I see..." Krieg said, taking another sip from his water glass. "I sat at your table, I'm your guest, and you have yet to converse with me, why is that?" Krieg said, finishing his glass of water and placing the empty glass on the lunch tray.

[Felix Culpa]

Kris listened intently in the phone for a while before pulling it away from her ear. "I'm sorry about this," she said with a warm smile. "It's a call I'm supposed to listen to. My brother's running this operation, and his partner's just filling me in."

 

"I'm sorry for not talking to you earlier," Kris said, smiling again. "You seem like a nice man. So, what do you want to talk about?" She finished her question by taking a sip of her soda.

[Jake the Sage]

Balthazar smiled when the new guy, who was interfering despite Akima's protests, told his supposed friend that he should surrender. He even got a kick out of the idea that they would kill him on their own terms- if that was even possible, the demon thought to himself. Had they not seen him being cleved in two . . . only to bring his two halfs back together as if nothing happened?

 

"You, want to kill me? Even though I can tell you what happened to your 'misplaced' memories?" Balthazar taunted the new guy Klaus, knowing full well he was amongst those who had forgotten.

[-Genesis-]

Seiren smiled at Issac before speaking. Then Seiren sighed and looked at the phone, "Hello, my name is Seiren Toujo and I have a proposal for you and your organization, but first I must ask. What is your name, or better yet, what do you wish me to call you? But before you answer I thought I might impress you by saying something." Seiren stopped for a second and her eyes glowed with a faint violet light, then a smirk crossed her face, "You are currently sitting in the lunchroom across the table from a man who is of dragonic descent, but for some reason I cannot sense his dragon form. I cannot tell your species, which means that it's a species I've never come across before, but your body harbors an extremely large amount of energy which radiates from you enough to drag out an untrained Alder King, you seem to usually use your energy to ampilfy your physical attacks. Oh, and you just took a sip of your soda a few seconds ago." Seiren remained silent for a minute to let her words sink in before continuing. "Well, how did I do?"

 

Akima held onto Balthazar's ankle keeping him from crushing his throat and looked up at Balthazar who was limiting his breathing, *Dammit, I'm not going to show him the Four Aces, not over a thing like this, besides there are too many people who would get hurt if I used them, they're much too powerful.* Then he rasped out, "Fine, I surrender." Then he looked at Klaus, "Klaus, control your temper, but you still can't fight him yet. We're not completely done." Akima looked back up at Balthazar waiting.

 

Tana looked up at Balthazar when he mentioned that Klaus was one of the one's who'd lost his memories, and then ran over to Klaus to whisper to him, "Klaus, we can't tell him that we have regained our memories! If any of that group are around then we'll be eliminating our one tactical advantage." She looked at him sternly and hoped that he'd actually think about what she said.

[Jake the Sage]

Hearing that Akima surrendered Balthazar gave a wide, devilish grin and stepped off of his neck allowing his former opponent to finally breath. Though before he turned around to address Klaus Balthazar couldn't help but give one last swift kick to his defeated foe, "Who said 'never kick a man while he's down'? Its fun as hell!"

 

Though Balthazar's hearing was excellent he had been drained a bit of his energies so he somehow managed to miss that the two other monsters in front of him had regained their memories; though they refused to tell him so as not to lose a tactical advantage. Looking around Balthazar glanced back at Akima, "Ready to know or not? If so we'd better find somewhere more . . . private?"

[Felix Culpa]

Klaus didn't move from the spot, standing adamant in front of Balthazar. "Balthazar," Klaus said, his eyes and hair turning the silver they always did when he went into his true form, "I will not move until you agree to fight me, but I'm not going to allow you to continue to harass my friends. Fight me and die, you weakling."

 

Klaus was suddenly in front of his enemy, as he had used part of his energies to increase his speed. "I will not lose to a low-class demon like yourself, Balthazar."

Kris smiled, "Very good. That is an interesting power which you possess, Ms. Seiren. And your host's capsule demon, what is his name? I believe we can work out a deal between the you and our organization."

[Jake the Sage]

Balthazar had already known Klaus would attempt to challenge him, even without his powers it was obvious that Klaus was not the type to back down, and Balthazar took the simple steps to show him up. Once Klaus had gotten in range he held out his hands, Klaus stepping right into his grip, and then kicked his feet out from under him while pushing his head back; thus knocking him over in what looked like an effortless manuever, though it was mere physics. Walking past Klaus he waved his hand back at him, "I think not and either way I don't need to continue picking on someone like you."

 

Standing in the middle of the crowd Balthazar let his wings fold over his body and head, encompassing his upper half in a dark veil.
