Ananata the Wicked Serpent;

Recommended Posts

Take a look at this card fellas:

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ananta_the_Wicked_Serpent

The effect of this card is very similar to Chimeratech Overdragon...Take a look for yourselves!

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play all Reptile-Type monster you control and in your Graveyard. The original ATK and DEF of this card become the number of Reptile-Type monsters you removed from play when you Special Summoned this card x 600. While you control this face-up card, during each of your End Phases, destroy 1 card on the field.

I'm probably not the only one that says "Finally some Reptile support that isn't Alien or Venom!"

Even though this could work well in Venom Decks, especially if your Vennominon/Vennominaga has been ditched and you can't get it back.

You can always have Venoms on your field as long as you have Reptiles in your Graveyard. but you can CHOOSE to bring them out. That's what's good about it. Your opponent might think that you don't know about their ability of coming back to the field and think that you will lose on the next move. Well now, you don't have to worry!! Ananta the Wicked Serpent will spring for action!! I fyou have 6 Reptiles in your Graveyard, Ananta will have 3600 ATK and the ability to destroy 1 monster on the field making it an awsome comeback attacker!!

OOH AHH (Stuffs 3 Snake Rains into Deck)

wow that makes Reptiles alot more useful. Very Nice.

but the 1 bad thing is "While you control this face-up card' date=' during each of your End Phases, destroy 1 card on the field. " If your opponent has no cards you have to destroy 1 of your own

[/quote']

You'll always need another card on the field otherwise the card will destroy itself

Yeah, what Flame said, and if it's exactly like a "Venom Chimeratech", the good news is, it's not a fusion, making it at least a bit easier to summon!

To be honest, I'm not obsessed with Venom/Reptile decks, but I am worried about each type not getting enough support as others (FISH FTW!), and this makes it all a bit easier for Reptiles.

This is in Premium Pack 11 with more Fairy support, E.Hero Voltech, and more Roids (Shuttle and Navy), in case anybody did not know.

Yeah, tell that to Star who pulled 2 Vennominagas and ALMOST gave one to me. If I got it, I'd get my Reptile deck out of the cobwebs again, and I'm be hunting the world for Vennominion and Ananata.

*sigh*, unfortunatly, 1 of my "supposed" New Years Resolutions is to be nicer to Star.

$100 says THAT'S not going to last very long.

About the card problem: It doesn't say it has to be a monster card. It can be any. On your side of the field, you have 10 possibilities. And on your opponent's side, you have 11. That's 21. If 21 - 21! - cards managed to be destroyed while you have this card out, well, then you're busted.
