Thanks, Flame. ;D Mother 1 was my least favorite in the series (I have the Japanese version for the NES) mainly because the randomized battles were really annoying. I couldn't even get to Podunk without running into sixteen Hippies, Snakes, and Crows. Plus, the story wasn't as engaging, and it was freaking hard. (Mt. Itoi almost made me rage quit.) The music and gameplay were all solid, though. <3 Earthbound was awesome, and that's why Nintendo needs to release it now. Screw copyrights, I want a chance to visit Saturn Valley and Winters again. I remember my surprise when I was told to beat down cops, mobsters, and giant cockroaches. I've replayed this game about ten times. Giygas remains hella scary every time.
