Eibon1307
Ok. So It is now official. Exodia has 3 counter parts. I heard of the 3rd counter part Exodius a few years back. A friend of mine even got lucky enough to get a Japanese OCG Promo from a pack of Japanese Booster Pack. I kinda laughed and said no way Exodia could have another counter part. But then I read about it in a weekly issue of Beckett Collector. This makes the "Exodia OTK" look like massive childsplay. Here is it's effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by returning all monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck. When this card declares an attack, send 1 monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard. This card has 1000 ATK for each Normal Monster in your Graveyard. When this card is removed from the field, remove it from play. If there are 5 different "Forbidden One" cards in your Graveyard that were sent there by this card's effect, you win the Duel. Essentially, If you have the five peices of Exodia in your deck you can search them out with his effect and discard them in the graveyard to not only get a 5000 ATK boost, but to win the game!!!! And for each Normal Monster in your graveyard he has 1000. This paired with a Milling deck would be dominant in alot of peoples oppinion. Of course he is porbably Banned or forbidden in Tourney because he is only a Jump Promo. So, with Exoida, Exodia Necross, and Exxod, Exodius is rounding out the family. But, Is Exodius, or any of the Exodia counterparts good?? Disc.
WithTheWind
Wait, so if you had Imperial Iron Wall on your field, Exodius would be invincible because when it is removed from the field it must be removed from play?
Guest PikaPerson01
Lol, Exodius is crap.

Nice Reply. I think....But he's a bad card. And like I told PikaPerson, Not if used with Warriors Strike or a Milling deck.
Dr. Cakey
Pay close attention. Exodius is a free 0 ATK monster, whose ATK becomes 1000 after he attacks - because HE RETURNS ALL MONSTERS IN YOUR GRAVEYARD TO THE DECK. He's not going to survive long enough to work. And that's not how it works with Imperial Iron Wall. Instead, he goes wherever he would normally go. So if he's destroyed in battle he'll go to the Graveyard. EDIT: Promos aren't banned in tournaments. Lots of big monsters - like The Light Ruler - are released as Jump Promo cards.
evilfusion
Exodius is too inconsistent to be any good. The only way to win with it is to have it attack 5 times without being destroyed or removed from the field by any means. Tokens + Diffusion Wave Motion = win, but it's too hard to pull off. Exodius beatdown has potential with Advanced Ritual Art, but that's limited and requires a Ritual. Maybe someone can make it work, but they're more likely to just run a real Ritual deck. Coffee Black
Exodius would be way to slow and easy to get rid of. Of course, Painful Choice is the best card for Exodius, but its banned. I can only think of milling as being the best way to make Exodius strong. I can't even imagine it's use in an Exodia deck. Terrible Idea I'm gonna post for the hell of it. Summon Exodius.Make sure you're opponent has 5 monsters on field.Use Diffusion Wave-Motion.Send all pieces of Exodia using this cards effect.Win.(inb4 fail)

White Void
Exodius is a weird card. He's terrible with what he's intended but definitely has some interesting if not niche uses in certain other decks. Exodia Necross is definitively bad however. evilfusion
Necross is horrible. With only 1800 ATK and only immunity to DESTRUCTION via S/T and battle, he's easily eliminated. The 500 boost each turn is laughably pathetic, and he's so hard to get out, even with the easy methods of ditching Exodia parts to the graveyard. You'd be far better off ditching Exodia parts and trying to retrieve them. Exxod shouldn't count because it has nothing to do with Exodia besides name and appearance. Exodius I already mentioned. Coffee Black
Necross would have been much better as a normal ritual. It would gain so much support instantly. It is easy to get rid of via monster effects, and just bad at this current time since everyone and their mother uses Dimensional Prison. Plus, D.D. Crow is like a side deck staple, and is even getting main decked. Necross would be just terrible in any way you put it.
Guest PikaPerson01
The problem with running Exodius in a 'milling deck' is that only one 'milling deck' exists, and Lightlords have no reason to be running Exodius + Exodia pieces. In short: You could, but why?

GenzoTheHarpist
Exodius is a terrible card, and is legal. And is old, so really you shouldn't be that impressed.

Infinitus
The pieces have to be sent to the Graveyard by his own effect. So, you have to attack five times, not get destroyed by Mirror Force, etc, and also last your opponent's turns. Smashing Ground? Lightning Vortex? Then it's removed, or with Imperial Iron Wall, he can still come back, but all your pieces go back to the deck. As well as your normals/Geminis. I only used him in my Exodia deck so I could get monsters back in my deck. In other words, he was a Pot of Avarice that got back all your monsters, but didn't let you draw. He sucks.
