**URLE**(ORIGINAL)[PG-16] Episode 2

[spoiler=Guardian: Champions Revealed]

Raphael "Raph" Taylor walked down the street Hiligo City with his friend Vallery Ghray. They got Sunset popsicles like they always did on a hot summer's day. They split somewhere near the arcade, and the autoparts store. They lived in the same apartment building, but Vallery had other things to do. So Raphael decided to get home and get a nap in. It was day 4 in Summer Vacation, and he wanted to get the best out of it, and sleeping was what he wanted most. He knocked on the door to his apartment building, and it opened up. His little sister opened it up for him.

"Where'd ya go Raph?"

"Oh, just got a popsicle with Vallery."

She nodded and was satisfied with the answer. Normally she'd pester him for a more straight forward answer, but she seemed to be occupied with something. She went into her own room. Raphael could have sworn he saw something else in there, but he figured it must have been exaustion, so that meant a LOOONG nap. He drooped his head down a bit and opened his door. He kicked his shoes off and fell right on his bed. For a while, he felt comfertable, and he began to fall asleep. All of a sudden, he felt something breathing in his ear. He turned his head over to the breathing and slightly opened his eyes. He widened them alot and was about to yell. Too bad the only one in the house was his sister, or he'd would have called for his parents. He saw a strange little chameleon thing. It was really ackward. It was much too big to be a regular lizard. He also noticed a big golden ring on its tail. What striked him odd was that it was smiling at him. Chameleons didn't smile. He backed up into his bed and asked it not expecting an answer,

"What are you?"

The chameleon twitched it's head to the side and licked its lips with an enormous toungue.

"Name, or being?"

Raphael let out a yell. He rubbed his eyes hoping it was a dream. All of a sudden, his sister Suzie, burst through the door. The creature looked over, and Raphael took a moment to take hold of his sister, and stepped back.

"Stay back, or I'll... I'll..."

Suzie pushed back his arm and stepped away from him.

"Raph, stop it, he's a good guardian."

Raphael looked at her strangley.

"Wh-What? Guardian? What are you talking about?"

"Well, it's best if you calm down first. Fineer, over here."

All of a sudden, a small 4-legged creature walked into a room. It was a white fox with 3 purple spheres surrounding it. It had red markings on its face.

"Jeeze Suzie, your brother isn't taking the whole URLE thing well huh?"

Suzie nodded.

"He still in shock from Vatin showing up."

"Vatin?"

The chameleon went on his hind legs.

"That's me!"

The fox then began to talk again.

"It's best we just start from the beggining."

[spoiler=URLE: Game of Guardians]

Suzie instructed Raphael to sit down on his bed. Raphael wouldn't normally do this, but it seemed his sister knew more about this than he did, so he rolled with it.

"Your sister told me that you liked to be called 'Raph'. That's what I'll call from now on master."

Raph pointed at the chameleon and whispered to Suzie.

"Um... Suzie? Can I punch this thing? I feel like I should. And why is he calling me 'Master'?"

"No you can't punch HIM! Second, he's your guardian. He's here to protect and serve you."

Raphael scratched his head.

"Serve me? Like servant serve me?"

"No not a servant. Think of yourself as a coach, and him your player."

Raphael looked over at the chameleon. It was talking to the fox creature and it seemed to be excited.

"Fineer, it's best that you tell him what's going on."

The fox jumped off the bed, and walked toward Raphael.

"Well, it all started when the god of Urleaus began to die. In order to decide who would be his sucsessor, he made a tournement. He told us to go pick and train with one human on earth. Whoever wins this tournement becomes god of Urleaus."

Raphael raised his hand and asked,

"And how do they determine a winner?"

"Battles. And the reason we need you, is because, you assist us in those battles. You'll find that out later on. Right now, Vatin chose you. So now, we find other guardians, and hopefully we'll be the last 2 to survive. Not survive, but if smeone loses they get sent back to Urleaus until the tournement is over. Right now, you need to train with Vatin before another guardian and another master find you."

Raphael scratched his head.

"Okay, I think I get it. Tournement, guardians, battles, god, and Urleaus. Got it! I just have a question. How do I battle?!"

Suzie explained.

"We'll teach you how!"

"Oh really? My little 6 year-old sister knows how to battle creatures from another world. That's believable."

"Oh you just watch us kick your butts. We'll see whose laughing."

The four knew that a battle in their living room wouldn't be the best place. So they went to the bus stop and rode on the bus. Several people asked about their guardians, but they told them all they were stuffed animals. They also saw other people with guardians too. They didn't say anything fearing a challenge. The bus stopped at the neighborhood park. From there, Suzie led Raphael down to the forest where there was an open area. They stood on opposite sides of the forest clearing.

"Raph! Just do what we do!"

Fineer then walked to her side. Suzie then exclaimed in a loud voice.

"URLE-Merge on! Fineer and Suzie, Fuse!"

Then, Fineer dissapeared into a white light. The light went right onto Suzie and an outline of some sorts apeared on her. The outline took a solid shape later on. Then it turned into armor. A helmet then appeared to top it off. The whole armor covered her. The helmet was purple with white edges. Then the metallic dress was all white with purple edges. The center of the dress had red markings just like Fineer's. And on the legs where purple, and white striped stalking things.

"Ancient Fineer!"

Raphael then tried it himself. Just before he did so, Vatin clinged onto his chest.

"URLE-Merge on! Vatin and Raphael, Fuse!"

Then Raphael was blinded for a while. He felt Vatin crawling around him. As he did so, Raphael felt armor ontop of him. Then he felt Vatin hug his head. When his his blindness faded, he looked at his feet. There metallic boots in a deep green color. He felt the back of his head next. It was very bumped. Then on his arm was a gold ring similar to Vatin's. Suzie then whispered to him.

"Make your name!"

"Oh... uh... um... OH I know! Vatin Scale!"

All of a sudden, he heard Vatin's voice.

"Ooo I like that name. Vatin Scale!"

Raphael looked around, but didn't see Vatin.

"Up here."

He looked up and noticed that Vatin's head was his helemt. Vatin licked his lips.

"Wow! I sure love this new look. What do you think Fineer?"

Raphael noticed that a ghostly image of Fineer was next to armored Suzie.

"I like it. However, can it fight?"

sure. I got bored waiting for new stuff for 1 fanfic, so i started this one.
