everybody ses my cards are rubbish

 

i need help making them

please give me tips and examples pls

Well be creative with your cards from what I've seen the names are not very creative and are in capitals usually all capitals are not very good.

 

The pic for your spell card is the only decent one that I have seen the others need work.

 

And your effect is very bland try thinking of new concepts that will be fun to use in the actual game such as the Crystal Beasts they had new effects that most people enjoy.

examples are warriors, dragons, or pop culture things like mythology or tv shows

 

[spoiler=2]stick to effect monsters. as a pokemon vanilla maker, this is ironic coming from me. Most people hate vanillas (normal monsters) so stick with effect monsters

 

[spoiler=3]USE GOOD PICS! http://deviantart.com HAS VERY GOOD PICS! search for what you want, right click the image to copy the image url, and use. Many members use this website and it provides great pics! Remember, Google is not always the best choice

 

[spoiler=4]Use good Original Card Grammar, or OCG. This is the grammar for effects for cards. Look at cards with effects similar to what you want. Example: You want to make a ritual monster. Look at Relinquished's effect. This will help you out alot.

 

[spoiler=5]Make Support Cards! Spells and Traps are sometimes confusing, but very helpful, especially when made for specific monsters! Like if you make a E-Hero set, make Support cards that go great with E-Heros!

 

[spoiler=6]Have fun! Make what you like, and stick with it! you will get better and better!

 

[spoiler=7]JOKE CARDS. I CAN NOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH. ALL JOKE CARDS, (i.e. If this is in your deck you automatically win the duel) MUST BE POSTED IN THE JOKE CARD THREAD, LOCATED IN THE GAMES SECTION. MANY A MEMBER HAVE BEEN NEG REPPED FOR POSTING THEM IN OTHER PLACES! Other jokes cards could be random crap, stupid, and i mean STUPID cards. Joke Cards are usually funny, but they have their one special place.

Regardless of what Blue eyes said never ever get your pictures from deviant art. You need to get credit from the artists first.

Hey I got permission for a card I made once. I never posted it because it was terrible, but thats not what matters.

Its under the creative commons licence so it is actually against the law to use them without permission.

 

I just realised we told him/her what to do, but not how to do it :|

 

Images: Use the custom image archives to find images. They're found in the showcase section. You don't have to ask permission to use those images, but the artists usually like to be credited for their work.

Grammar: There are a few OCG (Official Card Grammar) threads scattered around, mostly in the Realistic Cards section.

Effects: Try to vary the different effects that you create, but remember not to make your cards too OPed (Over Powered).

 

I've looked at your other cards and I have to say that the concepts are good. The only problems I can see is in the creation of the cards.

The ATK and DEF of the cards is way too high and there are some major OCG errors. Just keep practising and read up on the things we've said about.
