Lately I've seen these newbies making threads in Comments

& Suggestions, there suggesting that they should add a customize your attribute, or some crap about Roblox that doesn't relate to YCM what so ever. I can deal with Newbs but not with this. Heres what I'm thinking, New Members that have been here for a few days are not allowed to post threads in the Comments and Suggestion Section but can only post replies to the Thread they did not create. They can create Threads in this Section when they have 4 stars, be here for a month, get a mods permission, etc. This would be great to the mods because they won't have to deal with Locking Threads over and over. New Members wont be flammed and/or be banned. And you wont go thats so f*cking stupid gtfo.

So if they post stupid idea's lets stop them from making treads everywhere.No support plus not all noobs are that much of idiots.

 

Have you seen how many Locks there are in this thread and the maker of these threads are usually noobs but that's fine.

This idea is too much of a redneck.I do suggest noobs not being allowed to post only if they're below 3 stars and only in Comment/Sugestion.

If all LV 4 members must PM a Mod upon becoming one, the Mods would become extremely hard to work, and be annoying. Imagine 50 PM's coming when you open the computer. Annoying, isn't it?

 

Also, stupid comments and suggestions are to be insta-locked by Crab or someone like that, and there's no point in stopping it.

 

ALSO, EVEN IF THIS RULE WAS MADE, NO NEWBIES LOOK AT THE RULES!!

oh yes another great way for noobs to be insulted, leave this fourm, and never get better, and the ones that do get better, will just be insulting to noobs as the supporters, PERFECT!!

Honestly, anyone who makes "suggjestion" threads in which there are multiple grammatical errors should not be taken seriously.

 

Also, I agree that there are some morons who don't read stickies and the like, and instead come straight to this forum to post the same question that has been posted fifteen times on the same page, but if you don't allow them to make these threads and ask, they're just going to leave. They'll be too frustrated and will just go to a different site. It's a legitimate complaint, but as long as there are friendly members posting answers to these new members, there's no reason to shut down this forum to those people. If you're going to implement some sort of limitation on new members, make it small. Something like 5 posts, so that they are able to take the time to read other topics without being overwhelmed by a huge number of posts required to ask how to post a card on the forum. That just promotes spam.

 

tl;dr: I like your idea, but only to an extent.

I get what you mean, but I guess noobs have the right to survive and post in YCM. So, they can still suggest, but the people who troll and whatever get instantly banned.
