Maharu wasn't surprised that he was able to counter her attack, in fact she was expecting it. Looks like I might actually have to put forth ome effort. She thought listening to the announcer count to ten. She waited until he reached '9' before pushing herself to her feet. "Ok, I guess I won't have to take it easy on you. Good." She giggled, getting into a fighting stance. A slow smirk came to her face, "Here I come." Even faster than earlier she came at him and landed a kick on his chest pushing him back. At the same time her other foot came up making contact with his jaw. If he was a human her kicks would've broken bones, but she knew that he would be fine.

 

Maharu landed on the ground in a squat, ready to spring at any moment. That is if he gets up from her two kicks.

Kibuto didn't expect that at all, but he did manage to recover just before he hit the ground and landed with ease. "I guess defeat isn't in your blood." he began. "I guess I have no choice. If I want this to be a challenge, I'll have to take it up a notch!" Kibuto stomped the ground and began to concentrate. Suddenly, a flowing red aura began to cover him. The ground then slightly caved in his feet. "Kaiokenx1!" he yelled as his body became red. He then made his stance again. He then began to read her movements very carefully. Let's see you try and fight me now! he thought.

So he does have more tricks up his sleeve. Maharu thought narrowing her eyes, and standing up straight. "Two can play at that game." She said, spreading out her feet and concentraiting her own ki energy. The same flowing red ki surrounded her, and her skin took on a red hue. "Kaiokenx1!" She took a deep breath calming her nerves down. This will be the first time I used this in a fight. Maharu thought waiting for him to make a move.

 

"I see you take the term 'Ladies First' to heart." She teased placing her hands on her hips. "That's fine." She suddenly launched herself forward, causing a small dent in the arena, however halfway there she used her Instant Transmission technique to appear right under Kibuto. The heal of her palm made contact to his chin, and immediately Maharu spun into a kneeled position kicking him in the stomach launching him in the air. He didn't go as high as she wanted but it was high enough.

 

She jumped up after him, doing a front flip intending to kick him in the head and back to the ground.

While in the air, Kibuto smirked. He grabbed Maharu's leg, flipped behind her, and kicked her back, launching her to the outer part of the ring. The announcer was shocked at what he was seeing. "Amazing folks!" he yelled through the microphone. "I can't believe what is happening! It seems that Maharu is about to lose this match! Let's get back to the action!" Kibuto took a deep breath and said, "I guess she can't handle that kind of power after all!" Kibuto laughed. He then sensed something. She definitely knows what she's doing! he thought.

 

He then concentrated a small amount of Ki, preparing for Maharu's next move.

Maharu screamed in surprise as she was sent hurling towards out of bounds. I'm not being beat that easily!! She thought angrily, using her ki to stop herself right before hitting the ground before propelling herself high into the sky. "He's way better than I though." Maharu mumbled raising both hands over her head. Slowly her ki behan to materialize itself in the form on a large red ball of concentraited energy. It wasn't as strong as it could've been because she didn't want to harm the bystanders, but it would be enough to seriously damage Kibuto it it his. "Alright Kibuto eat this! Fireball!" Maharu yelled throwing it towards him with surprising speed.

He knew something of the sort would've happened. Although, he didn't expect something so powerful. Kibuto placed his hands out and blocked the Fireball attack. It wasn't that hard to block, but it sure took some strength to rip apart and destroy, which in fact he did do. The audience roared with excitement once more at Kibuto's power. He breathed heavily. Not yet... he thought. I can handle myself for a little longer. "You got spunk...For a girl!" he said laughing.

Maharu flushed when she heard what Kibuto said. "For a girl!?" She stomped angrily on the air. Why does everyone I fight always say that!? She thought as she made her way back onto the arena. She kept her Kaioken activated as she stared at him, watching his movements closely. This whole time he had been letting her do all the attacking, and frankly that was getting boring. So, Maharu decided to stand there and wait for him to move. If he didn't then this would turn into a staring match. Let's go big boy. I've got a little surprise for you. A smirk came to her face as she began channeling her ki.

Kibuto began to sense her Ki channeling up. He knew she was planning something. Hm, what does she have in mind? he thought. "Come on!" he yelled. "Are you a Saiyan or chicken!?" He then began to talk like a chicken repeatedly, trying to get her attention and get highly on her nerves. I really don't want to do this, but I'm not going to just wait for her to attack me! He then continued with the chicken sounds and movement while flying.

Just ignore him. He's trying to bait you into attack...Just ignore... Maharu began telling herself after he called her a coward for not attacking. She had to stay calm and concentrait on gathering her ki. However, that wasn't going that well for her at the moment. When it came to fighting Maharu had a neutral dispositin, but one thing that made her mad was when someone called her a coward. "I am no chicken! I'm a Saiyan!" Maharu divided her energy evenly to the palms of her hands forming glowing yellow ki blasts. Then she used her Instant Transmission to get right behind Kibuto, her hands an arm length away from his back. "Eat this." She let both of them fly towards him sweat lining her brow. The Kaioken was starting to take it's toll, and because she had never had a worth opponent she hadn't ever had it activated this long.

Just before she attacked, Kibuto thought, Just what I was waiting for! Much like Maharu, his Kaioken was beginning to take its toll, but not as much due to have been training in this form for a year or so. Just before the blasts hit him, he used Instant Transmission to appear behind Maharu. He concentrated some Ki on his index and middle finger. He then whispered to Maharu in her ear, Surprise! He then took the fingers concentrated with Ki and forcefully poked her in the back, stunning her completely around her body, unable to move. He laughed. "You think you can beat me? I've been training for years to win! Just give up!"

D-damnit! I can't move! Maharu thought slightly panicing as she desparately trying to move her limbs. She needed time to break the paralisis, but the moment she tried Kibuto might attack. Maharu quickly pushed her Ki outwards forming a red barrier around her, forcing Kibuto to either move away or be hit. Once her barier was up she immediately began focusing on dispelling his ki that was shooting through her causing her paralisis. It wasn't long, 15 seconds, before she was free and she quickly put some distance between the two.

 

"Sorry, but I'm not giving up." She started, "You said it yourself. Defeat just isn't in my blood. Now, let me return the favor." In a burst of speed she rapidly made her way to Kibuto. Taking a page from his book she channeled most of herki to her feet, ad kicked him in the gut sending him hurtling towards out of bounds.

 

She knew he wouldn't stay down for a ten count, so getting him out of bounds was the bext best thing. Not only that but he didn't seem to be suffering from the Kaioken's side effects as much as she was. I'm probably going to lose this fight but damnit he's not getting away un scathed.

Kibuto did not see any of this coming. Damn, she's better than I expected! he thought, hurtling towards Out-of-Bounds. I guess I have no choice! He then used Instant Transmission again, but to appear on the ground not in Out-of-Bounds. "I think I've played with you long enough!" he yelled at Maharu. "It's time to end this here and now!" Again, Kibuto stomped on the ground, more forceful than last time. "I can sense your Ki! You've reached your limit! But I haven't!"

 

He then began to concentrate more Ki. The red aura began to increase in size. His muscle mass began to slightly increase, along with the red hue on his body began to darken by a small bit. Kibuto began to lose some of his control, letting some of his new strength to partially take over. "Kaiokenx2!!!!"

 

After full completion of the transformation, Kibuto looked at Maharu with a angry look on his face. He then smirked and did Instant Transmission to appear behind her. He then began the Kaioken Assault.

 

OoC: I think you know what that is and what it does. Since I'm in x2, it's more effective than your character thinks.

When Kibuto activated Kaiokenx2 Maharu knew that this battle was over. Before he even began to attack, she retracted her shield and made it form a sort of coating over her body to try and minimalize the damage she was about to take. As soon as it was done, Kibuto was behind her in a second and attacked. He kept doing the same thing, and by time his assult ended Maharu was finished. She tried to sit up groaning with the effort. "C-crap....Guess...I-i lose." The red glw from her Kaioken, and barrier left her body as she fainted.

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Kibuto saw that she fainted and powered down, descending to the ground as well. The announcer and the audience were shocked at what they had seen. The announcer then began to count. "1...2...3..." The audience began to go along with the announcer. "4...5...6..." Kibuto knew he won this. May the best fighter win. he thought. And I'm the best! "7...8...9..." "I guess you DO lose." he said to Maharu. "Let's hope Hadeus isn't that difficult when I face him." "10!" The audience roared with cheer.

 

The announcer walked up to Kibuto. "And the winner by Knockout..." He raised Kibuto's arm. "Kibuto Chikaru!" The audience cheered and Kibuto looked at Hadeus. He took the mic. "You see what happened, Hadeus? That's what's going to happen to you! Be prepared!" He then walked up to Maharu. He bent down to her and nudged her, trying to wake her up. "Hey, are you alright?"

Maharu winced when she was nudged, her entire body was sore from her kaioken technique. Next time she trained she was going to have it activated the entire time. "I'm awake..." She groaned so that Kibuto would stop nudging her. "And stop that it hurts." Maharu slowly sat up her body protesting the movement entirely. "I would be mad, but I said no hard feelings so congrats." She smiled sheepishly and then said, "So...uh...You think you can help me up?"

[Kōsuke Ueki]

"That's why I tried to wake you up, didn't I?" he asked as he lifted her up slowly and put her arm over his shoulder. He began to drag her out of the arena. "You know, you did very good. You can do better, though. I can help you if that's okay." He then brought her to a bench for her to relax. "I'm sorry I had to overdo it. I just want to fight the champ. Rest up. I'll see you later." He then began to walk to the training room. She really did good. he thought. Let's hope the next time I see her fighting a Saiyan, except me, she has gone beyond her own limits.

[Daxter]

Hadeus watched as the fight came to a very exciting conclusion. In a very cold state of mind, he slowly walked towards the ring, knowing his fight would be next. But he knew he wouldn't lose. He wasn't very cocky, but he had a feeling inside him, also a weird feeling something was watching him. He looked around, in the stands there was nothing but cheering fans.

 

"Well fans, it seems our next and final fight is going to start. May we all welcome the champion Hadeus!"

 

Hadeus heard his name and slowly flew over to the center of the ring. Standing very still with his arms folded, he showed almost no emotion to be here.

 

"And please welcome our other amazing contestant, Kibuto!"

 

Hadeus stood in the center of the ring, waiting for his opponent to get to the ring, he knew this would be a great fight, but one he refused to lose.

[Kōsuke Ueki]

In an instant, Kibuto appeared in the ring using Instant Transmission, shocking the announcer. The audience cheered for Kibuto, again much more than Hadeus. Kibuto looked at Hadeus. "I guess you're not as great as they expected." he said to Hadeus. "I'm not going to hold back for any reason! Let's do this!" He placed his stance. "It seems they are both ready!" said the announcer. "And begin!" The announcer then ran off the ring as fast as he could. "Since you're the 'Champion', I'll let you make the first move." said Kibuto as he smirked.

[Daxter]

Hadeus just stood there with his arms folded still and his eyes closed. "You know, you won't be able to beat me. You can feel it don't you." Hadeus raised his head and opened his eyes looking at Kibuto with his expressionless gaze. "I don't want you to hold back, I want you to understand what your dealing with though, so go ahead, this one is on me." Hadeus slowly flew over so he was right next to the edge of the ring. "Go ahead, hit me, knock me out of here and end this pathetic fight, or, you could realize being called champion doesn't make you a fighter...and that the only way to win is to come at with right now with everything and don't stop until I'm dead!" Hadeus roared. The crowd almost crew silent.

Maharu was taken off guard when he offered to help her with her training. She nodded when he sat her down, "Yeah...That'll be a lot of help." She smiled, "Thanks for offering, and for bringing me back here. Good luck in your next match, I'll be cheering for you." She waved as he left. It wan't long before the final fight began, and Maharu made sure to get as close as she could. She didn't want to miss this fight for anything. Good luck Kibuto, cause you're gonna need it. Especially going up aganst Hadeus

Kibuto was shocked, not just because of what he said, but what he is sensing around him. It has a strange power level. Is it a Saiyan? No. Only a creature of another planet can have this power. He just ignored it for the moment. "I know being called 'Champion' doesn't make you a fighter." he began. "I join these tournaments to show my strength, to push myself beyond my natural limits, to show that no matter what strength you have, you can always push yourself to higher extents." He then paid his attention back to the strange power level. "If you believe in yourself, then any known power you face will not wish to fight you. If there is anyone that wishes to fight me or anyone else, show yourself now!"

 

OoC: This is going to that "force" you mentioned. I would really like to get my character's story to slightly advance, hence the word "slightly".

[Daxter]

Hadeus sat there for a moment, he wasn't quite sure what Kibuto was talking about...until he felt something.

 

"There!" Hadeus yelled and almost immediatly an explosion happened killing hundreds of peoples in the one section of the stands. There was screaming and fire and just chaos. There was a great deal of smoke, but through it Hadeus noticed what looked like 2 people flying away. Hadeus could sense they were the ones who did this. He shot after them at amazing speeds, but to his suprise they were able to stay a good distance ahead of him. So there he went flying after the attackers, already wondering who they were and where they were going...maybe it was a trap..

Kibuto knew something was here, but it turns out that they were Saiyans. He only got a small glimpse of who they were and realized something. "No..." he said to himself as a new flashback about his past finally came into view. The day he first was able to fly.

 

~10 Years Ago...

 

Young Kibuto concentrated very hard and in an instant, he began to levitate. Young Kibuto was cheering vigorously with his father proud of him. As he descended to the ground, his home was under attack. It was a pair of Saiyans. It's unknown why those two attacked his home, but it was rumored that they were denizens of Planet Vegeta that went on their own to colonize other planets. The pair nearly killed young Kibuto's mother. She did hide, though. Young Kibuto, his mother and father of course escaped, leaving the pair to think they're dead.

Rage fueled through Kibuto. As he saw Hadeus fly after them, he yelled, "Kaioken!" He transformed into Kaiokenx1 and followed after Hadeus, going faster than him. The pair saw Kibuto closing in on them, and realized they can't go any faster. "You will pay for what you did!" he screamed, highly enraged. "I will NEVER forgive you for your doing!!!"

[Daxter]

The 2 Saiyans slowed down and quickly turned around and each charged a Mai blast in their hands. They didn't fire, but they just held the blasts there. They didn't say anything. Hadeus slowed down when reaching them and pulled out both of his swords from the sheeths he had on his back.

 

"Well well well." The taller of the 2 Saiyans said. He was about 6' 2 and was kinda fat. He was wearing some armor, looked similar to the armor that Hadeus had grown up with. "Hello Hadeus, Kibuto. How long has it been? 25 years?" The tall man said. He lowered his arm and the Kai blast vanished. The shorter of the 2 did the same. "So, Kibuto, this is where you've been hiding. And Hadeus...how did you survive that explosion? We all have thought you died." Hadeus lowered his swords.

 

"Who are you 2?" He asked them.

Maharu saw the explosion, and sensed the strange energy as well. It wasn't long before both Kibuto and Hadeus chased after the two forgine energies. She sighed knowing that she wouldn' be able to help. She was still trying to recover from over using her Kaioken. So as of right now she'd be in the way. "They'll be able to handle it without me." She groaned sitting back down ignoring all of the others who were in a panic. The stands were quickly emptyed. It was only a matter of time before her parents came back here looking for her.
