Pokemon: Island Challenge - remake [started/acepting] (PG-13)

OOC: And i didn't think ampharos was a Giraffe. I'm following Pokemon Stadium rules where water pokemon float in the air. And i'm not the Dragon Champion Lance...I'm 15.

 

Lance was 'shocked' by the sudden discharge attack. He thought of a way to counter it, but that didn't seem likely. Seadra was hit by the attack and was electrocuted. He flung back. Lance bared his fist. "Aww man...that was all my fault...JET! Use Dragon Dance!" Seadra got up, electricity sparked around him due to discharge. He started running circles around the Ampharos while turning red. Finally he turned bright blue. Lance smirked, "Jet, now use Dragon Rage!" The Bright Blue color that swirled around Seadra gathered at the base of it's snout. He shot a giant beam of Blue Flames towards the Ampharos.

"Ampharos, dodge, now!" yelled Leonard. "Use ThunderPunch, quick!" The Ampharos charged at high speed toward the foe, with it's fist being electrocuted. It's quick legs became faster and faster, as it sped up even more. It was now running at full speed, where it got near the Seadra in no time at all. It then punched tremendously, leaving a spark behing it's fist. "Never use a water Pokemon against Ampharos." Leonard said in a cocky manner. He could see that the Seadra was already damaged quite a bit, and this blow, if he was lucky, would paralyze it, or even knock it out.

[Mr. Hyde]

Ooc:.....I didn't think Ampharos were that fast.....

 

The Seadra had taken the punch in the stomach and was sent flying. "It's a good thing Ampharos don't have a lot of attack...or else it would've been over." Lance knew many things about pokemon. "Well i guess you're right, so i'll have to make a little substitution." he said as he returned Jet to it's pokeball. "Let's go with, Digit!" He flew another into the air revealing a Porygon-Z this time. "Let's start off with Nasty Plot Digit!" The Porygon-Z started thinking of plans and concentrated. It's Sp. ATK rose spectacuraly. "Now, let's finish it with a Tri-Attack!" Digit started cartwheeling in mid-air. A fire, electric, and ice orb appeared on each of its limbs. it shot the triangular attack towards the Ampharos. "Let's see how he fares against that." he said with a smirk.

"Ampharos, Light Screen!" yelled Leonard. A block of energy surrounded the Ampharos, raising it's Special Defense, and just barely saving it. "You have the right idea." said Leonard, as he reached for Ampharos's Poke-Ball. "Return." A beam of red light absorbed the Ampharos, and into the Poke-Ball it went. Leonard then reached for another Poke-Ball, and threw it to the ground. It also bounced up, but instead, released a Politoed. "This Pokemon's Sp. Defense may be a little too high for your Porygon-Z." said Leonard. "Now, Hypnosis!" Leonard yelled, as a wave of pink circles rushed toward the Porygon-Z.

Lance smirked. "Digit, scatter!" Digit's body parts shot out in all different directions avoiding the hypnosis. "Let's see if your Politoad's Sp. DEF is enough for this, Digit, use Discharge!" The Porygon-Z started gaining blue sparks. It soon shot all of the Electricity towards the Politoed.

"Politoed, use Bounce!" Leonard said. The frog Pokemon used it's hind legs and bounced high into the sky, avoiding the Discharge, it then came crashing down at full speed. It rushed toward the Porygon-Z, and Leonard hoped it would hit. He didn't think there would be recoil, but who knew, impossible things happen. The Politoed was now closing on it's target, the powerful Porygon-Z. Politoed and Leonard knew Porygon-Z well.

OoC: WTF!! So far you've dodged every single attack in this battle so far! If i wouldn't have posted this, you probably still would've done it after this post.

 

IC: Porygon-Z shook as it saw the shadow appear over him. That is until Lance said, "Psychic now!" Digit focused it's Psychic powers on the politoed above him. It had stopped in mid-air. "Now...do what you wish with him." Digit threw the Politoed into a nerby cliff.

OoC: What are you talking about. Not every attack was dodged. The reason I brought back Ampharos was because it is nearly knocked out. I do that because notice, even in this post, you nearly knock out my Pokemon when you do hit them.

 

IC: The Politoed smashed into the wall of the cliff, barely standing. It had taken quite the hit. Leonard knew he should withdraw Politoed, but he wanted a fair battle. "Politoed, use Hypnosis again, and this time, charge at the Porygon-Z. The Politoed started to run, and at the same time released pink waves of sleeping energy. When the sleeping waves were released from Politoed's mouth, Leonard gave another command. "Now, use Bubblebeam!" Small bubbles emerged as well from the Politoed's mouth. Both attacks charged at the Porygon -Z.

OoC: Actually your ampharos dodged both my seadras attacks, and light screened my tri attack. then your politoed bounced over a discharge...

 

Ic: Lance knew the waves that grew closer were going to hit Digit. But before they did, "Digit, use Psychic on the Bubblebeam!" Digit used it's psychic ability to gather all of the bubbles realeased from Politoeds mouth into a giant bomb. Digit then flung its arms throwing the 'bubble bomb' at it. It was then hit by the Hypnosis and fell asleep. What would happen next would decide if Lance would switch or not.

The Poltoed did not realize the Bubble "Bomb" coming toward it. It was hit, then dramatically weakened. "Politoed, can you continue?" asked Leonard worried. The Politoed was struggling to get up. It barely made it, then fainted on the spot. "Politoed, return." said Leonard, as a beam of light appeared and absorbed the fainted Politoed. "Alright, time for this Porygon-Z to be knocked out. It's really starting to tick me off. Go, Scyther." Leonard threw a Poke-Ball normally this time. Out came a green, giant praying mantis. "Scyther, use Razor Wind." said Leonard. The Scyther charged a great whirlwind in front of it.

"Too bad you won't get the chance at the moment." he said as he withdrew the snoring Porygon-Z. "Come on Bugger!" He threw a dusk ball in the air revealing a Heracross. The darkness swirled around it as it glared at the Scyther. "Insect v.s. Insect. Seems fair." Lance said with a smirk. "As for the Razor Wind, Bugger, use Stone Edge!" The Heracross smashed the ground throwing rocks into the air. Then, Heracross shot all of the sharp edged stones towards the Scyther.

Leonard couldn't lose. He kept saying to himself. "I can't lose, I can't lose!" But then, he remembered it wouldn't matter. This wasn't the real arena, so he wouldn't have to give up his spot. So, he would let this Lance fellow win. Then again... it would be a nice practice for his Pokemon. "Scyther, release Razor Wind, then move!" The giant whirlwind was unneffected by the rocks, nor did it effect them. It glided past them like nothing, then Scyther dodged the attack. "Now, Scyther, use Aerial Ace." said Leonard more calm. he knew all he would have to do is weaken all Lance's Pokemon enough, then finish them with Typhlosion, Noctowl, and Venusaur.

Lance knew the Rocks would prove useless. Lance motioned for Bugger to hop in the whirlwind. He nodded and did so. Bugger was spun high into the air, taking damage, but not hurt. As the Whirlwind stopped, Bugger was high in the air. "Now, Bugger, use Aerial Ace as well!" Bugger, from the high altitude, gained speed and rushed towards the Scyther at a terrifying speed.
