So guys, Im getting a little tired with my Playstation 3 and wanted to get a Xbox 360, now Im gunna buy one used since I don't have that much money and well I don't really wanna spend that much on it. Anyways, If a 360 has already had the RROD and has been repaired and replaced the parts for better ones, what are the chances of it Red Ringing again?

If you haven't gotten it yet, try getting a new one. A new one costs about 200$ plus about 50$ more for a hard drive. If you have a way of making money, you should have it by the end of the summer.

Don't forget about paying for Live! Or you could just skip out on Live and just play the games without multiplayer....yeah.

No, RROD is just your Xbox heating up to fast, meaning that your cooling system has been damaged, that was the case with my Xbox. If the damaged parts have been replaced you should be able to go on for a few years without stumbling on a Red ring.

My Xbox was the first kind of Xbox and i immediatly bought after it was released and it lasted until somewhere this year. The newer Xbox', or Xbox parts are better than the first, so yeah, i'd recomend it.

There is no avoiding it, though.

IMO' date=' you really shouldn't do it. The 360 and PS3 shair about 90% of their game. Of that 10% may 5% of the 360s are on the PC so it really isn't worth it.

Stop cucking about it. If the man wants to buy an Xbox, let him do so!

I know that, but I'm trying to get him to think about it, because if you already own a PS3 it's a bit of a waste to spend a another couple $100 on the 360. The same is true the other way too. And what is wrong with hearing the other side. Before you spend any large amount of money you need to think about it and you need both sides of the story to do so.

Basically all the Xbox "exclusives" are also on the PC. Just get a nice graphics card and CPU with that money. The only games that I found that aren't on the PC are Halo 3, Fable 2, Alan Wake, and Forza, which all have their own counterparts on the PS3.

Halo 3: Killzone 2

Fable 2: Heavy Rain

Alan Wake: TBA PSMove Title, but it's there

Forza: Gran Turismo

*fanboy mode off*

Seriously, consider what benefits the Xbox 360 has to you, and what benefits the PS3 has to you.
