I'm seriously thinking we should start the tournament, I mean really a tournament isn't that much of an important plot point considering we're still pretty much in the beginnings of the RP

There's just one problem, and I addressed this problem to Zaifire via PM, unfortunately he's been MIA since just before I sent it, so he hasn't seen it yet.

 

Tournaments mean person v person. Due to the plot importance of certain characters battling each other, it would be majorly plot jumping to have important characters battle other important characters.

 

By this logic, there's the chance we would need some sort of NPC to hold a duel where important characters can win without screwing up plot. But Zai's the only one WITH NPCs at the moment, although I'd happily create some if permitted or necessary. Since this decision has not been reached, we cannot be certain how to progress. Plot jumping would be, for now, unwise. Majoras hopefully will be able to make some sort of decision in that regard, since he knows Zai personally.

Well, even if we did decide to override RP creator's plans, we'd still have to create some basic decisions. By "basic", I mean "advanced". For starters...the entire tournament brackets, if not just who has their match first. I could handle that aspect, since Derek is one of the tournament overseers (but a main character volunteering could work). I also could handle the NPC in question, simply due to my availability, assuming we aren't nominating one of the "duelist" category RPers.

 

For now though, we should maybe just sit tight and see if Majoras or Zaifire show up to make a definite decision within a few hours.
