I've played the piano for a long time. I'd say how long' date=' but I don't remember. I figure between 6 and 8 years, probably more closer to 8.

If you consider it an instrument, I also do vocals. <3

Oh, so it's safe to assume you're great at oral presentations?

I'm a semi-badass drummer. And I've only been playing for a year >>

Only thing is, I don't have any money, and lack the equipment to show off mah chops :P

I'm saving up for a second bass drum first and a good floor tom, and I can pull off Hot for Teacher.

in the school band I play Bottom Bass, but I'm considering Tenors, since the only 3 tenors aren't very rhythmic..

Get a double bass pedal, its cheaper, more manageable. and easier to move around. A second bass drum without a rack is just going to cause problems.

Clarinet for me.

When concert season rolls around I go an octave lower for bass clarinet.

Two words for this year: Festival Variations.

Most epic song. EVER. Search it on Youtube.

On another note, I own an alto saxophone, but right now I don't need to use it, so it's gathering dust right now.

do you play in a school band SJ1?

Yes. Our top school band is arguably the best in the state (I got to be in it this year!).

On another note, for those actually concerned about high school ensembles, there is a system used for grading music based on difficulty.

1 - warm-up

2 - basic music

3 - intermediate

4 - advanced

5 - highly difficult

6 - professional level

"Festival Variations" is what our top band played. Some people would classify it as 5.9; officially it's around 6.5. This song demands extreme technical prowess and very good intonation (especially for higher parts).

Drums >=D

i think that the hardest instrument to play

to play? oh god no. Anyone can do a 4/4 rhythm over and over, and do a

random fill every so often. Playing WELL, yeah. That's hard. Especially polyrhythms, for example,

quarter notes on the cymbal and snare with 16th notes on two bass drums,

but instead of straight 16th notes, you play 4 and then rest 2 16th notes, repeat.

I'm working on that, and even I'm still having some trouble.

hahaha. I guess I wasn't very clear on what I said. But yeah, like what Captain Lawless said, I think the different rhythms are hard to play. My hands can't do different rhythms very well. I have never tried to play the drums before but i bet you i can do the rests :P

Polyrythmns are hella easy, you just need to get the feel for them, Polymetric sheet on the other hand is a PITA.
