Kenny Bohner
Well, if you're reading this, you're either tired of me constantly deleting and reposting what essentially boils down to the same damned thing, or you've never heard of me. In either case, I'm in it for the long-haul this time... see, previously, I wasn't satisfied with my own work, so I zapped the project. This time, however, it's not gonna suck, because I'll be taking not only open suggestions towards the characters, as I always have, and the decks, as I always have, but, you, the fans, may suggest storyline arcs to me! Sound exciting!? I didn't think so! But, regardless, much obliged. If I can get some comments, I'll start Chapter 1, but, until then, I'll just get the bios for the main characters on here.
Name: Kenny Bohner (full name: Kenneth Roger Bohner III)Gender/Age: Male, 22Bio: Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1988, to Ken Bohner (the second, naturally) and Judy Mullen. Moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 1995. He grew up extremely poor, with his dad (who had divorced his mom shortly after the move to New York) and three younger sisters, while his mom and younger half-sister lived in a rural community in northeastern Pennsylvania. As his family struggled to get by, he met his life-long friends, Joey Barone (estranged from his parents, living with his uncle Ray [his dad was infamous mafia don, Tony "Six Fingers" Barone, and his elder brother was Francis "Frankie" Barone, an equally infamous mob hitman]), Ami Cho (daughter of a Japanese family, being the first generation of her clan to be born in the US [also originally from Philadelphia], raised equally as poor as Kenny and Joey), Roscuro Norman (thirty-some-odd-year-old dude, from Flushing, New York, originally, but ended up sharing an apartment building with Kenny, immediately hitting it off) and, finally, Bob "Jesus" Newman (a fifty-some-odd-year-old homeless dude, who they'd met at a Mets-Yankees game). Out of necessity, they purchased a larger (keep in mind, these are New York standards; "larger" implies one bedroom, max) flat, living together. They've formed a bit of an "agency;" for the right price, of course, they complete "odd jobs;" legal or otherwise. Appearance: Dark, mid-length, messy hair, darker-than-your-average-cracker skin, blue eyes, with a yellow ring around the pupil. Height: Six feet even. Weight: Two hundred and ten pounds. Can't decide whether to keep a Sgt. Pepper-esque mustache or to go clean-shaven, and frequently alternates. Somewhat bushy eyebrows. Dress very uniquely; wears jeans with everything, of course, but, for the most part, either wears a band T-shirt, a Hawaiian-print shirt, a Mets jersey, or, on more formal occasions, a polo-shirt. For cooler weather, he's got a black, leather jacket. Typically seen wearing his Mets cap.Personality: Considered highly intelligent by those close to him, and jokes around a lot. Has a care-free attitude, leading people to believe that he never takes things seriously enough. Screw them, eh?Occupation: Aspiring stand-up comic and duelist, getting a fair amount of gigs on both accounts. Also an "odd-job" doer.Abilities/Powers: Talks to Elvis Presley, the spirit of whom lives with him, unbeknownst to the rest of the gang. The King can be an excellent ally, if needed.
Name:Gender/Age:Bio:Appearance:Personality:Occupation: (optional)Abilities/Powers: (optional) (You can include minor characters that are related somehow to the mains in the main character app, as I have done with my support characters)

Kenny Bohner
Kenny Bohner: A man incapable of doing proper line breaks. Interesting response. I'd retaliate, but, unfortunately, I could only point out things that aren't really relevant. Oh, wait...
GenzoTheHarpist
I consider the fact that your "bio" is almost unreadable to be highly relevant, especially since you're allowed to edit it and are just choosing not to because you'd rather be indignant. I'm not saying that it's even of passable quality. Resurrecting it was a bad idea, in retrospect... I was exhausted when I decided that it was a good idea. Still, I don't think that your original flame was called for
GenzoTheHarpist
Here's advice: don't make a thread in the "fan fic" forum unless you ALREADY have a fanfic to post.
CrabHelmet
Well' date=' if you're reading this, you're either tired of me constantly deleting and reposting what essentially boils down to the same damned thing, or you've never heard of me.[/quote'] Everybody on this whole site falls into the latter category. In either case' date=' I'm in it for the long-haul this time...[/quote'] "Unless, of course, someone says something less than abject praise in the very first post and I immediately throw a tantrum and realize I'm completely incompetent and can't do this, but what are the odds of that happening?" see' date=' previously, I wasn't satisfied with my own work, so I zapped the project.[/quote'] Good. This time' date=' however, it's not gonna suck,[/quote'] CHEKHOV'S GUN ALERT: This line will be important later. because I'll be taking not only open suggestions towards the characters' date=' as I always have, and the decks, as I always have, but, you, the fans, may suggest storyline arcs to me![/quote'] "But besides the actual creation of the characters and their decks and the plot and every other creative aspect of this work, I'll totally be the creator of this story!" Sound exciting!? I didn't think so! But' date=' regardless, much obliged. If I can get some comments, I'll start Chapter 1,[/quote'] There's not much to comment on if you're not going to bloody well post a chapter. What, were you unable to produce a single chapter of material without having your hypothetical fans do everything for you? Interesting response. I'd retaliate' date=' but, unfortunately, I could only point out things that aren't really relevant. Oh, wait...[/quote'] Making a story readable is obviously completely irrelevant. I consider the fact that your "bio" is almost unreadable to be highly relevant' date=' especially since you're allowed to edit it and are just choosing not to because you'd rather be indignant.[/quote'] Yeah, well... yeah... I'm not saying that it's even of passable quality. You said "it's not gonna suck", and things that aren't of passable quality suck. So, yes, that's exactly what you're saying. Resurrecting it was a bad idea' date=' in retrospect... I was exhausted when I decided that it was a good idea.[/quote'] I always begin large projects that are clearly out of my league in the same sense that winning an Olympic footrace is clearly out of a wheelchair-bound person's league while exhausted because that's obviously what smart people do. Still' date=' I don't think that your original flame was called for[/quote'] You asked your readers to practically write your story for you and then you whine when people ask you to go to through extremely arduous and time-consuming task of pressing the "enter" key occasionally? How lazy are you?
Nexev
CH, don't be mean, he's actually pretty good. He's done this repeatedly since he keeps reviving the same ff. He has only been critized a few times and the fanfics he makes don't get shutdown from that. He just forgets there there. Anyway here I am.
