In the City of Freeborn, AKA Murder City, has just been taken over by some of the hardest caught criminals ever and it is up to a team of investigators and cops in order to take back control of the city and rid it of the chaos around it.You take the role of either part of the force or one of the many criminals,either way its all up to you.

 

This was an RP originally started by .:Haruki Adachi:. and it soon died from inconsistant posting. He re-did it on TheHDForums(You should check it out. It's similar to this site). I've been given permission to start it again, in another attempt.

I know that I am not above the rules, but I have three characters in the RP on TheHDforums, so I will possibly be the only one with more than two characters.

Powers/Weapons: Can control water/ice, and can use Misting. Misting is when he changes his body into Mist, but he cannot attack in this form. Also uses a Bo-staff.

Powers/Weapons: Can control energy itself, by condensing it and using it as an attack. Can also control gravity. However the longer he uses his attacks the more blood he loses.

Personality: Yuki is slightly insane, having been placed in a mental home for most of her childhood due to a very tramatic incident. She's very childish, and can be quite cynical when provoked or if she snaps. With her powers having to deal with having sefl mind control she always have some type of candy with her, as csugar is the only thing that can heep her calm.

Class: Detective

Powers/Weapons: Telekinesis, can move things with her mind, however the heavier the object the more of a strain, and create forcefields. After using her powers she can sometimes get headaches, and suffer from blood loss.

Personality: A tactical genius and calm killer. He is calm and collected, and never flinches. However, he has an unsatiable hunger for blood.

Class: Murderer.

Powers/Weapons: Ability to phase(Walk through objects) aslong as he can see and/or touch the object, making him impossible to kill head on. It also allows him to go inside other's bodies, killing them from the inside, or healing others. However, when he is phasing, he cannot touch anything but the ground, and when materializing, he has to have all his vital organs in the air. Weapons include: Flash grenades, Frag grenades, Twin double barreled revolvers, twin Muramasa's, four short curved blades, a silenced Sniper rifle with optional thermal scope, C4, Smoke grenades, Shurikens, Kunai knives, An RPG-7 and an AK47.

Biography: He is an infamous murderer and thief, known by once breaking into the Royal Bank of England, one of the most secure places on the planet. He has also assassinated three people of importance, including the last king of Kenya, all at the same time, inside the bank. He is also the unofficial owner of the city, feared by most citizens. He referes to the city as his city.

Character Name: Christopher Gene.

Nicknames: Chris. Genetic.

Sex: Male

Age: 19

Personality: Chris is a loyal man, serving anyone who can best him in both power skill, and skill with a blade. He prefere's to attack from a distance with his power, but is highly skilled with a blade, being bested only by one man, Dylan.

Class: Murderer.

Powers/Weapons: Chris has the power to manipulate atoms. This allows him to mutate most objects, and cause automatic chemical reactions. It has it's limitations, and every time he uses it, his body heats, meaning he could burn himself over using it. He also weilds a Muramasa and a magnum 38., and can kill plenty of people with them.

Biography: Chris was an Orphan, found at 7 wandering the streets of Murder city. He was avoided by most, as he had a strange habit of killing people in an unknown way. Once, when he was 7 and found, the man who did took him in. He taught him many ways of fighting, mainly revolving around swords. By the time he was 10, he could kill a man in a thousand ways, with his index finger only. He soon became leader of a street gang, which was well known around the city. However, at 16, he was approached by a man. He was challenged by this man, and defeated within a minute. The city was shocked, and was claimed by this man. This man was called Dylan, and realising Chris' talent, made him his second. Dylan was unknown, and most still believed Chris was leader, untill Dylan's mass murder at the Royal bank of England, and his very public return to Murder city, where he killed three thousand guards without breaking a sweat. Then Chris was shunned and forgotten to all but his gang.

Personality: Nicholas is a stern, bossy man with a bad temper. He likes to be in control and punishes people severly for disobeying him. However, he is kind deep down and believes firmly in justice.

Class: Chief/detective

Powers/Weapons: X ray vision(Obvious) and Earth maipulation. Nicholas can only slightly manipulate rocks and earth. He can only create blocks, which he uses for defence and such. He used to be able to do much more, but, being the chief, he hasn't practised for a while.

Biography(optional): Nicholas is a legend among police. He took down a gang of three hundred power criminals, all armed with lasers, in ten minutes. It was said that he was the most talented detective/police officer the world had ever known. He started off as a vigilante, using his powers to take down criminals. He was soon found and hired by the police force, and soon rose to one of the highest people in the force. Then he was sent to Freeborn, A.K.A Murder city. He soon discovered that he wasn't as good as he thought, the Murder City police force being one of the best in the world. However, he was soon the best in that, and has been the chief for 6 years. All this time he has co-ordithe arrest of 13 of the powerfullest criminals in the world.

Powers: Telepathy, can read minds, can send subliminal messages into one's mind to trick one into doing something. And has a semi-automatic handgun.

Bio: Tadayoshi was normal and rich for that matter. His mother was shot dead by an unknown man and had drove Tada into making his revenge with the mystery man by becoming a detective.

-Dark Flame: This ability allows you to generate dark energy in the form of black Flames which can burn almost anything. You can project dark flames from your entire body and even cause objects to melt. If over used -----can lose control of the fire and burning everything even him. Running out of energy to burn can cause him to become weak. He uses a sword given to him by Ayumi its blade is black the a red scar like pattern going from the Hilt to the tip of the blade.

Biography:Arashi use to be a Murderer he used seduction and sweets to lure his victims and cut them up when they least expect it and sometimes burning them little by little until they where barely alive then let them heal then repeat the proceses until he got bored. After a while her got bored until he met Ayumi together they commited a various amount of crimes until they both became bored of that. they decided to become Detectives......?

Personality:she is Kind yet Sadistic around other but around Arashi she displays a little sister personality but still Sadistic.

- Ice Lightning: ability to create and manipulate Lightning so cold it Freezes when used Ayumi hands start to freeze the more used the faster it freezes it takes at least 30 min for hands to unfreeze.

-Blade Manipulation: ability to use Bladed objects with god-like skills.Ayumi can use her blood along with any object to create a bladed weapon. She can protrude blades out of her body. When creating weapons the more blood she uses the weaker she gets until she looses consciousness.

Biography: May lived in Murder Town since she was born. Her mom died when May was born. Her dad owned a Mafia. She knows a lot about murdering from her dad. Her dad died on a mission. She was only 9. Then she moved in with her nanny. She meat James when she was 10. It was love at first site. She wants to move to brighter city, but James can't afford a move. She is working at a small clothing store with little pay. She lives for James as he kills for her. She dosen't want James ended up like her dad.

Tadayoshi was sitting in his office going over some notes and waiting for the chief to deliver his next assignment. Tada had solved the most infamous crimes yet including The Gabriel case. He was known throughout Freeborn as the most intelligent Detective ever. Then, last month Tada was assigned a new partner, Yuki Mizano, He was not very fond of Yuki, he doesn't talk to her much mostly because she is to carefree in Tada's eyes. Recently he has been contemplating whether or not to call her his friend. He always had candy for her and had always let her play in the rain as long as she had an umbrella or rain coat on. One time she was out for a whole weak with the flu for going outside without either with her. Yet, Yuki grew on her and he was going to try a new nickname with her, Yu-chan.

Yuki walked into the tall building known as the Freeborn Detective Agency. She was kind of knew here, only having been here for a month. She was assigned to a seinor detective who went by Tadayoshi Kurokawa, but of course Yuki being Yuki she never called him by his full name, and instead called him Tada-san. She tried some other nicknames before but he didn't care too much for them. He didn't exactly say he didn't like them, more like this blank stare that scared the crap out of you. Yuki ran up to the elevator taking it to the 5th floor, and walked down to Tadayoshi's room a cherry lollypop darting in and out of her mouth. She opened Tadayoshi's office door, a wide smile on her face. "Morning!" She closed the door and continued talking not even waiting for Tada to reply, "Guess what I saw on my way here! They have this new candy coming out called "Ring Pops". It's like a lollypop but it's on a ring that you wear around your finger!"

 

She explained, quite loudly, bounding up and down in the one seater in front of Tada's desk.

Alex pushed her glasses up. She was in her comfy chair-she wanted to be VERY comfortable when she was Pinpointing locations of others in her way. "Yando Mitsuki, caught. And by Me." She spoke. She typed in her internet diary: The elusive Yando Mitsuki, after a year, was caught by the orb. I threw it at him, never tried that before, & he disappeared. Got a call, saying he was in his cell again, & how I did it so quickly. -End- She turned off the orb again, & pet her bird.

When Yuki walked Tada was going to say good morning until she began yelling something about a Ring pop. Tada gave her a blank stare, he then pulled out two earplugs, which still couldn't block out her screaming. He then put them in his top drawer, in the drawer was a bunch of papers and photos that he never allowed anyone to see. He put the earplugs in the drawer and locked it. He then put the key in another hidden drawer on the side of the desk, and locked it with another key which was on a key-chain attached to his belt. Obviously he didn't want anyone to see into his desk top left drawer.

 

Tada then turned back to Yuki. "Anyway, Have you heard anything from the chief yet? This desk work is getting boring." Tada said as he dropped a couple of papers on his desk. "Yuki, do you want to go out for a while? The chief has my cell phone number so he can contact me when a case comes up! Besides," Tada turned around in his chair to face the windows behind him. "I should get to know you better," Tada turned his head towards Yuki, "Yu-chan?"

Even while Tada was talking she kept babbling on and on about Ring Pops. It wasnt until he offered to go out, did she quiet down. A happy smile coming to her face at her new nickname. "Yu-chan! That's so cute!" She laughed spinning around. "So where are we going Tada-san? I don't really care, but I know we're going to have fun! Oh, how about Candy Emporium?" Her eyes lit up just at the mear thought of it. "Yeah! Let's go there! It's this huge building with a bunch of diffeent types of candy, and every one is just as yummy as the next."

On the far side of Freeborn where trash littered the streets, unsightly characters around every corner, and buildings half destroied a two figures walked down the street. One of them a young boy probably around 16, and the other was a young man. The boy had a wide smile on his face, while his partner sported a look of indifference. Many pairs of sneaky, greed eyes followed their every movement however the two didn't seem to notice or care.

 

Three muscular figures then appeared in front of them, but only two of them sported weapons. The one in the middle was bare handed. "ook what we've got here boys." The guy in the middle said, "There's a fee you have to pay to keep going. So pay up pretty boy." The three guys chuckled darkly thinking thyfound easy prey.

 

The older of the two boys looked at the three. "Kai-san."

 

The kid, obviously named Kai, grinned sweetly looking as innocent as can be. "Sure thing Rai-kun." Kai held out up his hand and snapped. Suddenly the two with the weapons went stiff before dropping to the ground an unseen force crushing them. "And now you die." They screamed until they were completely crushed blood seeping from their now flattened body.

 

"D-don't come any cl-closer!" The only one alive screamed in fear, holding out his hands. "I-i'l burn you to a crisp!!"

 

Raito obviously didn't care and walked forward, as Kai too out a napkin to wipe the blood that ran down his nose. "Come with me, and you won't be hurt." He said calmly. The guy wasn't hearing any of it and screamed shooting a flame from his hands. Raito sighed and suddenly a large ice spike came from the ground in front of Raito dividing the fire to make it go around him.

 

"You are weak." Raito said to the shock hoodlum, grabbing the bo-staff from his back. "And now you must come with me." He said and in the blink of an eye he appeared behind the guy and hit him hard in the head with his bo-staff.

 

"Well, that was pretty easy." Kai said dissapointment evident in his boyish-voice. "I thought we would actually get a good fight. Seeing as he was fire and you ice."

 

Raito didn;t say anything and grabbed the guys leg and started dragging him in the opposite direction they came from. "Let's go Kai-san. Our client has many more of these super-humans for us to catch."

 

"I feel like im betraying our kind." Kai joked happily following Raito.

Tada didn't react to Yuki's over-reaction and he thought to himself "What the hell did I get myself into here?" Tada got up and said, "We can go to the Candy Emporium." They then left the room but Tada then said "But I'm not buying you anything." and he walked casually aside Yuki. Tada and Yuki got in the elevator and Tada thought, "Oh God Yu-chan, please don't hit all of the buttons again..." Tada slwoly pressed the one going to the 1st floor and waited to see if Yuki would press all of the buttons.

Alex thought, "Another bunch of hoodlums. I'll see to it they are put to justice." She rolled her eyes as the group cornered them. She slammed the door & pushed the elevator down button. As it opened, she stepped in. "Guys, we have a situation." She said, opening the orb up again & showing the situation. "And if you are going to the Candy Emporium, forget it for now. Yuki, Tada, let's go. I WILL need back up this time, so God helps it, & you too are fit well for the job." She smiles & tries to make them give in.

Ooc:All cases will be assigned by the Chief (Magnet Soldier), and they will be monitered by me of course. If I don't like the case then I will have him change it but other than that he will hand them out unless I give him a specific case. I will also be handeling any NPCs, so please refrain from killing them of unless I say otherwise.

 

"You don't have to buy me anything! I have my own money." She said sticking out her tongue childishly. When in the elevator she had a stronge urge to push all of the buttons. She liked looking at all of the lights, and told Tadayoshi it rmindered her of a cristmas tree. But she wanted to get to the Candy Emporium as quickly as possible, because they always have the new candy before everyone else, and she was hoping for one of those Ring Pops. But when they came back all of the buttons will be pressed. She rocked back and forth on her heels and as soon as the elevator came to a stop Yuki ran out narrowly avoiding two other cranky police officers and stopped by the door waiting for Tada.

Raito tossed the unconscious hoodlum onto the ground infront of a man shrowded in shadows. The only that was visible were his hands that laid on the edge of the large throne looking chair he sat on.

 

"Well done you two." The mysterious man had a deep rough voice that vibrated off of the shabby walls of the dark building. "Here is your pay." A man dressed in a black suit with a mask coveing half of his face appeared in front of Raito. He had red eyes, and black shaggy hair then fell over his face. He had to short swords, one around his back and the other was on his waist but behind him. Both hilts were on his right side.

 

He handed Raito two wads of bills. "For every one you catch 20,000 just like we agreed." Raito nodded. "I will be back later with the next one." He sai about to leave but then themysterous man stopped him.

 

"You know there are some detectives with powers as well. We can both benifit, they wont get in my way and I will double your pay." Raito paused not turning around, "I will think about it."

 

Once they left the building Kai giggled, "You didn't like his proposition did you." When Raito didn't answer he giggled more, "It's because sh-"

 

"I know Kai-san...." Raito closed his eyes and sighed, "I know..."

Alex pulled out her bun into locks, & walked out. She put a dollar into the Drink Machine & grabbed a Dasani. Then grabbed a bag of Hot Fries & sat down. "Haven't had lunch yet." She said, grabbing a fry out of the bag. She then just nods, "No." And goes up the stairs to put the fries in her little compartment. She then leaves, & comes back with Wendy's. She then walks up to her office, & turns on the little TV. There, she finally eats.

Nicholas Sanderson, or The Chief as many others call him, sat at his paper littered desk. His hard experience eyes scanned over each file. Something didn't feel right, he could tell. His long years as a detective gave him a sort of 6th sense to this kind of stuff, and something was eating away at him. He stood up from his chair, and moved over to the large semi-cirle window pane to look over Freeborn City. Something was amiss in his city, and it needed to be taken care of before it escaladed.

 

"Chief!!" Nicholas turned half way to see a one of his detectives barge into his office. He was panting hard, and had obviously ran from where ever he was. "Sir! We've just go a report that the bank has been robbed! All of the diamonds are gone!"

 

Nicholas hard eyes narrowed, "In broad daylight? Who ever it is must be bold." He turned back to look out the window quickly thinking on who to send, when the perfect people popped up. "Alex, Tadayoshi, and Yuki." Nicholas turned and picked up his office phone and rung Alex and Tadayoshi up.

Tada stepped off the elevator and the minute him and Yuki got outside, Both of their cells had gone off. Tada listened in about a man robbing a bank in broad daylight. "Well, looks like we have another case on our hands Yuki." Tada said putting his cell phone back in his pocket. "And this one is either exceptionally idiotic, or exceptionally bold, to have robbed a bank in the middle of the day, no one does THAT anymore no one except..." A gun shot soun appeared in Tada's head, as he heard screaming in pain. Tada quickly shook his head to get it off his mind. "Come on Yu-chan... We'll go to the emporium after we are done for the day okay?" Tadayoshi looked down at Yuki, "For now..." Tada looked back at the building, "Let's wait for Alex."

Chris sighed. Dylan was returning soon, and then he'd be forgotten. Dylan always over shadowed him, and that was something he didn't like. But still, Dylan realised Chris' talent, and acknowledged him as a worthy foe. Still, sometimes Chris couldn't help but feel jealous. He sighed and turned around to face the snivelling maggot that was forever apologising at him. "What happened this time?" Chris asked, his hand resting on the hilt of his Muramasa. "W-w-well M-m-master, the th-th-three of them were defeated, and the l-l-leader was taken, j-j-just like the others." He stuttered, terrified for his life. Chris sighed and loosened his grip on his blade, just to reveal a revolver, which soon had smoke coming out of it, while the man had a hole in his face. "Stupid b*stard."

 

"He seems....distracted." Nicholas muttered, before turning back around. He looked at his computor to find an email. "Huh? Another missing person. This is getting strange. Still, they all seem to be criminals, so mabye it's some vigilante."

Alex looked up from her salad. She was just about to finish when her phone rang. Her bird was released, in case it was a......case. Awkward. She picked up. "Hello?" She asked, & learned the info. "Also, they I think brutally murdered some people, leaving only one to live. Saw it from "The Orb"." She even did the "" thing. Alex then ran into the elevator, bumping through the crowd. "Excuse me, have a case here, pardon me!" She said as she pushed through the crowd on the way to her case & another capture.

"Come on..." Tada said impatiently, "She should've gotten here by now!" Tada was growing impatient, but he had to keep his cool. He began to walk towards the alleyway between the detective building and a store, "Yuki come here! I got an Idea, Since Alex is late I say we scare her, just a little fun." Tada still kept his straight face.

Alex has remembered past shenanigans of Tada, & checked the orb just to make sure. "This time," She pulled out a gun, "I am prepared. Tada, that idiot, thinking he can scare me with a regular "BOO!"" She looked & smiled. It has been long since she was first hit my his scares- She was new, still considered new at this point & time. She made a fake bang by taking off the clip, & firing. Then she inserted the clip, & got into position. There has never been a time until now where she could scare him, this could probably do it.

Tada then stood there and saw Alex come out. Tada had scared her before, still had never smiled but really did enjoy it. Unfortunately for her, she underestimated Tada's intelligence, for when she shot in the air, it sent a shock wave, faint but still there which cut an extreamly thin wire which held a giant water metal tub from the top of the roof and fell right on top of Alex. "Gotcha!" he then walked out of the alley to see his results.

"Orb of Location: PROTECTOR!" She yelled as she covered herself with her orb. She couldn't move her legs, but oh well. At least a failed prank came to this, she smiled. "Orb...Release." It popped, & the water was sent flying at Tada. "Heh, you did that. You must've KNOWN that was coming." A pigeon landed on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Hattori, you are fine." She named at after the LITERAL Hattori the pigeon from Rob Lucci's shoulder, & from CP9, where her literal "twin" in appearance is a member of.

"That's what you think!" the tub stepped on a wire which broke and unfortunately for Alex, triggered another wire underneath her and tied around her ankle. It then pulled her u to the second floor hanging from her ankle. There was a weight holding her up. "That wire shouldn't hurt you but all the blood will be rushing to your head quite soon." Tada kept a straight face the whole time through.

"Fortunately," Hattori used his beak to slice the rope, & she fell, landing on her feet. "I have a bird that can do THAT! Hattori, Pigeon Call!" She yelled, & Hattori tweeted in a strange pattern. It attracted, first one, then two, then thirty. Alex then tweeted the same pattern, adding "Po-Twe!" As they all got weird curved beak facial expressions. They then flew up on a pole, some right side up, & the last 15 upside down. She closed her fist & the birds all pooped on Tada.

Tada started to get frustrated with Alex, "You are buying me a new black button down shirt and pants!" Tada then walked over to her and removed his shirt. His torso was perfectly balanced between buff and normal, he was not fat at all and one could say that he has a hard time getting girls off him because of his face with his torso, he then threw the poo covered shirt on her face and said, "I'm going home to change, Yuki, Alex, come with me please." Tada said, surprisingly he kept his cool throughout the whole ordeal. "Also I would like to wash out my hair." Tada then turned his head towards the two of them, "Also It's not illegal to be shirless in public in this city anyways.

"Don't I know it. I always get that." She told Tada. She caught the shirt. "Orb...Disappear! Make the Bird S*** disappear!" She threw it in, & the crap disappeared. "There, good as new." She smiled at Tada. But then, she remembered the case she, um, "overheard", but put it off. "C'Mon, let's go for Smoothies. I'm buying. Hey, the only reason i'm doing this is because I skipped a year. This is a good time. Have fun, enjoy life-hey Tada. Here's one minor setback. I am only 14, & would you drive?"

Tada just turned back at her, "I forgot you could do that," Tada put the shirt back on and said, Let's just go to Shirley's Coffee house, it's right across the street and they have great smoothies. Tada walked up to the coffee house, he went there every day, and a bunch of people in the coffee house greeted Tada "Hey Tada!" some went up to him and gave him high fives, others shook hands or patted his back. Even a group of girls turned around and waved and said "Hey Tada-kun~". Tada just casually waved back as he got up to the counter. "So what do you two want?

Yuki watched in happy silence, something that wasn't normal for her, as she watched both Alex and Tada. She clapped her hands enthusiastically, coupled with 'ooh's and 'aww's at how the two countered each other. Yuki was being strangely quiet this whole time, even when they were walking but that only ment that when she did start talking it would most likely go on forever. She was given the oppertunity to talk when Tada asked what she wanted, and she smiled. "I want something with a lot of sugar! I've never really been here so I don't know what they have here. It didn't look like a place with candy. Now that I think about it I don't normally eat anything but candy, but it helps you know. Although, I do have a dendency to talk a lot, or at least that's what people tell me but I don't believe them." She smiled widely, her eyes closed, and a lollypop hanging from her mouth.

"You have come back to me empty handed." A dark gruff voice said. It was the mysteryous man, who only his hands are seen. His hands gripped the edges of his throne so hard his nuckles turned white. It was obvious he was angry.

 

From below the ninja looking man who handed Raito his money kneeled on one knee. "I am sorry My Lord. I'm afraid that someone else got to the diamonds before me. When I got there they were already gone."

 

The mysterous man seemed to contemplate the man kneeling before him. "Hmm...I see. That is most troublesome. I must find another way to power my machine."

 

"Actually My Lord I think I may have way." The kneeling man said, catching his lord's attention. "You see there is this girl..."

Alex smiled, & shoved another Lollipop in Yuki's mouth. "Ice Cream....Smoothies." She whispered in Yuki's ear. Alex smiled, she was trying to make Yuki crazy. This was also her first case's final stand. She shot him with a tranquilizer, three years ago. Then ran out with him to the jail, smiling, & holding a Smoothie. Back in real life, she looked at Tada. "I'll have a Vanilla Smoothie with a shot of Mocha, & Whipped Cream, please Tada." She finally spoke in her real voice. She then thought about using her powers to again pinpoint the criminal(s), but decided not to.
