Sam smiled at Ina, and placed a hand on her shoulder when she saw the look on her face. "That happens sometimes, but don't be bothered by it Jecht." Sam said turning to the Son of Posiden. "But I have to agree with her. I don't particularly care for the Ares cabin. They are way to proud, and believe that they cannot be beat." A slow creepy smile came to her face. One that gave everyone around no reason to doubt she was the daughter of Hades. "This shall be a very interesting race indeed. Besides the Ares cabin I believe there are to others we should watch out for. A girl named Nikki. She's the daughter of the deception god, Apate. Her and Ream, the son of the god of dreams, Morpheus. I doubt Ream is competing...but to be on the safe side we should be ready for anything, yes?"

A sly grin crept across Nikki's face.

'Meet me at the forges.' She told Ream, before turning and walking away, to her cabin.

Need everything. Ring, daggers, let's see if I can find that... And some way to make the magnet stronger... wonder if there're any Philotes demigods... Or Hecate... But no. Dreams and Deception is an unbeatable combination. Ream can easily... But wait...

Thoughts began flying through Nikki's mind, coming and going faster than anybody else would have been able to comprehend.

Magnets, forge, Otus, Hephaestus, daggers, Apollo, broken neck, Zephyrus, Dreadroot, empower, magic, creek, Tantalus, shatter, attract, archery... Nikki smiled. Hephaestus.

Orran focused the distance the shot needed to go, the speed it would need to fly, and the amount of force it would need to impact with to do enough damage to the hound. I won't be able to do enough damage without using the enchantment of my bow. Oh well, it's the only option I have. Orran looked at the hound, and decided to pierce it's neck. He hoped that the hound would run off, or if needed, disintegrate. Channel the power from the sun to the arrow. As he chanted this inside his head, the arrow burst into flames. Now, continue until there is nothing but the flames. With this, the arrow burst into nothing but flames and some Celestial bronze mixed in. Orran jumped out of behind the tree, and shot the the hound, but he just grazed it's skin.

As soon as he saw that he had only barely injured it, Orran took off running. He only had a few arrows left, and he couldn't afford to run out. He dove behind a tree, and waited to see if the hound would follow. H waited what felt like ages, but it was only a few minutes, until he decided that the hound wasn't following him. He then realized why. He was back at Camp Half-Blood. That was why the road felt so familiar to me. Turned out I had traveled on that same road on my way here the first time. Nine years ago... Orran then made his way down the old camp of his. Hoping to see what was happening, and if they had supplies he could possibly use.

Ina grumbled, her shadow reacted with two -'s and a sad mouth, then as if reacting to her owners emotions it became a shadow cloak, with a hood, "It will be smart to have tou do the attacking, while he drives, I'll work on defence....." she said in a muffeled vice from behind her hood. "I can't attack for some reson, must be a joke of fathers.... Or he dosent want me to kill people with it in a rage HA HA!"

"Great, I've got a rough sketch with various traps and such." Jecht said handing the sketch of the chairiot to the girls. The sketch had many traps, containing greek fire, hidden compartments, and more. "If you have anything you can add, fell free." He said tossing them a pencil. Son of Morpheus, and a daughter of Apate. He thought about what they said. Ready for anything. "Well, I'll get to the forges and make the basic outline of the chairiot." He said bowing his head and walking towards the forges. His mind filled with thought of winning.

Ream gave a somewhat out of character grin, as he was usually in a dream-like state. "Be right there Ms. Heartstrung, I have to make certain........ arrangements first". Ream walked into his cabin and opened a large purple case in the back of it. Out of it he drew out a small white sash containing a white, almost transparent powder in it. Ream smiled, his own powers would require him being close to the target, but this...... it would allow a wave of drowsiness and fatigue to overcome the victim, the perfect solution. He then placed several bags of the powder on his belt and walked towards the forge. This was going to be fun......

But first I'd need a demigod of Hephaestus... Nikki thought to herself, standing outside her cabin, which was now in the form of a royal castle.

Or... She grinned, and began walking towards the forges to meet with Ream, contemplating to herself exactly how she could render every single other chariot completely and utterly worthless, physically unable to come within several meters of her own chariot. And coupled with the head start Ream could get them... We'd be unbeatable. Nikki grinned. So now I just need to find a child of Hades.

Orran walked down the path to the camp, and noticed how little had changed. Hardly anything changes here.. The biggest changes would have to have been the extra cabins, and those were made a while back. A long while back... Orran continued down the path, spotting people running around, chatting, and what seemed like plotting. There may be an event happening soon. I wonder what it may be.. Capture the Flag? Chariot Races? How interesting. He continued down the camp, hoping to see some sign of what may be happening. People were rushing to and from the Forges, and some seemed to be upset. I bet it's the chariot races. It would explain why so many are running to the forges...

Sam took the sketches and nodded at Jecht. "If we think of anything to add, then we will say something." She said as he walked away. She then turned to Ina with a smirk, her competitive side showing. "We will do our best to represent the Hades Cabin, and when I say do our best I mean we're going to wipe the floor with the other contestants. Will you come with me to get some arrows? I think I'll be the archer, for us. I'm pretty good if I say so myself." She smiled at Ina waiting for her reply.

"Shure I'll come with you." Ina said with a smile, her shadow poped up sudenly and gave the peace sign with ^'s for eyes, and a smile. "Herm my my, diddent guess you for the Archer type , sis..." Ina looked down sort ofas they walked, "I-I'm sorry.... Going and calling you sis we just met a little while ago, It's probably uncomfertable..." Ina said,in a some what depressive note.

Sam stuffed her hands in her pocket leading the way to the archery. "I don't mind...I don't have any siblings at my house. It's just me and my mother, and don't even get me started with her." She smiled at Ina, "It's nice to know that I have a sister here at home. Besides we Hades girls gotta stick together through fire and stone." Sam laughed and locked her arm with hers. "This ok? I don't wanna over step my boundaries."

"Sort of.... But for you I'll do it!" Ina said accepting the hold with no resistance, "I'm sorry If I

may seem so cold, I lived with... Dad most of my life since my mom died...."

Ina sort of moved closer to Sam, she saw a couple an athena girl and a Zues boy, they were eyeballing her and Sam like they were disgusted. Something seemed to snap, Sudenly her shadows eyes turned red, two black tentacles rose up and dangled the two over her shadow, wich It's mouth had trance formed to sharp mouthed monstrocity, scareing the two out of their wits, "What Do you have a problem!" Ina shouted, her psychodic look returing.

Sam's smile faltered when she said she was with dad. "You've been with dad...." A wave of jealousy overcame Sam. She's not usually one to get jealous but....It's her dad. Sam had only seen him once, and that was on her 15th birthday when he gave her the gifts she wears around her neck. Even then she only got a short glance at him, so it kind of made her mad tha she was able to live with him.....But she had to lose her mother...

Sam was pulled from her thoughts when Ina moved closer to her. She wondered why, and followed her line of sight to see three other demi-gods giving us nasty looks. Before she could say anything Ina beat her to it, and her shadow guardian attacked the campers. Sam squeazed Ina's arm and gave her a stern look. "Let them go. It's not worth it, don't make me have to intervin." She said her eyes flashing, before she smiled softly. "Just let them go."

Nikki raised an eyebrow, walking up to Ina.

'Don't go off killing campers, it'll cost you a week's worth of s'mores.' She advised, as she continued past, headed towards the forges, thinking to herself. But not all of what she was thinking strictly had anything to do with the Chariot Races. How? Iron... underground... chariot... Hades... Morpheus... laurel... Apollo... invisible... dracenae... pegasus... Amphitrite... sword... Rider... gold... magnet... daggers... deception... McDonalds... Greek Firebomb... Golden Fleece... Acidic... spreading? Have to... but if she... Hmm...

"W-What is it about you sis you are the only one that can calm me....." Ina said frustrated and

slightly blushing, her shadow released the Demigods, and became a normal shadow.

"Get out of my sight, before I change my mind..."

The Zeus and Athena ran away, Ina fumbled over to sam, took her sisters hand, and made their way to the Archery.

Sam shrugged, holding Ina's hand gently, and said jokingly, "I guess I'm just awesome like that. Besides, those two are weak. I beat both of them up at one point in time...Of course I got in trouble.....And had to clean the stables-" Sam shuddered thinking about it, "-So much poop." They finally made it to the Archery. There were some other campers here as well, but as soon as they looked over Sam glared at they turned away. She lead Ina over to the back and picked up an all black bow.

Sam picked it up and showed Ina, "Like it? It's made from a special kind of stone that I found in my...I mean our cabin one day. It should be heavy, but it's as light as a feather. I think it was from dad." Sam grinned, fingering the symbol of Hades that she had etched onto the center of the bow: The Helm Of Darkness.

"So," Sam said notching an arrow and aiming for one of the targets, "What's dad really like? I never got a chance to met him...But you've lived with him so..."She let it go, and smiled, "Bull's eye."

Ina shruged, "He.... He is well... More careing than he lets on though he has his angry

moments. I think I get my personality from him, I have my angry moments, as you can see.

Oh my god! Thats amasing!" Ina Said, with an oddly bright smile."But I diddn't know about you

till I got my shadow, when I was 15...."

Sam smiled when Ina smiled. She looked much better when she smiled, or at least that's what Sam believed. "I see...I would expect him to be angry sometimes. I mean our dad had been treated wrong for centuries, and hadn't been that long since he finally started getting some respect from the other Gods after helping that Percy kid defend Olympus." Sam explained notching another arrow and shooting it at the same target, splitting the first arrow she fired. "You know, I don't care if you get crazy sometimes. I do that too, but just not on your extreme."

Sam notched another arrow, and glanced at Ina and narrowed her eyes. She turned her bow onto her, and fired the arrow. The arrow flew right past her face so fast, a light wind blew against her face, and lodged itself into the wall, just a hair's breath from a kid of Hephaestus' face.

"The next time I see you glaring at us, I promise you I wont miss. I may be no child of Artimis, but I'm a damn good archer." The boy didn't need to be told twice and he quickly left, blushing in either embarressment or anger, probably both. Sam couldn't care less and she angrily notched another arrow. "Gods, I hate being looked at like that! They think they're so better than us! News flash they're not!" She growled lowly, her obsidian eyes flashing again, and a black shadow began swirling around her arrow. She saw this and instantly calmed down, the black shadow disappearng with her anger.

Sam put the arrow she was going to fire on the table, grabbed a loaded quiver and turned to Ina with a smile. "Anyway, ready to go? And sorry about the whole arrow thing." Sam blushed scratching the back of her head a light red tinge on her face.

Guest Merciful Idiot

Nexus finished sharpening his blade. It had been a while since he left that waste-of-time camp. It felt kinda stupid to walk around the world in school clothes but who would really care? And also, Athena doesn't give a care about him, so why worry? It's not as if a monster would attack this very second.....but it did. A hydra rose from the lake Nexus was sitting nearby. Nexus reacted immediately. He jumped up and slashed each of the hydra's heads, where twice grew in it's place. But Nexus kept chopping them off.

One hour later, the hydra probably had thousands of heads, but the body couldn't support them all. And there was Nexus's chance. He finished it off. "Soon, I'll have a way to kill you forever." He muttered.

Ina keenly eyed the shadow on the arrow, she wondered, but pushed it out of her mind,

"Ok! Lets go to the forge and find that boy, ummm Jechet? I have an Idea..." Ina said with a smart smile.

(Time skip!)

"Even if it gets rid of the Fire Attack trust me just incase one of them shows up we should be

prepared.... I can defend us from everything besides that! My shadow can handle the rest...."

Ina argued.

Ina handed Jecht the scymatics for a high powered air conditioner, "Trust me...." Ina said, with sirious eyes.

Sam was laying down, watching Ina argue with Jecht about the defences on the chariot. She was playing with her locket, thinking about a friend of hers she hadn't seen in a while. He left to go on a mission. He seemed a bit pale after hearing his oracle, and she was worried what he had heard. Of course, he didn't want to worry her so he didn't tell her. He along with three others from the Hermes cabin had left. She sighed, "He better not be dead." Sam muttered before glancing up at Ina and Jecht, "So you two come to an agreement yet?"

Jecht raised an eyebrow at the plan she had. "Hmmmm." He didn't know Ina all that well but he could take a chance. The last chairiot race he was in, his chairiot was practically destroyed and he came in last. It wasn't pretty. "I guess so." He said to the Hades demigod. He had most of the chairiot finished. Traps and all. The sun was beginning to set, the sky painted with beautiful shades of orange, and red. The air was filled with the sound of a conch horn. "Well . . ."Jecht said looking at the girls. "I guess its time for dinner."

ooc: Several problems;

1. Vial of liquid is OP

2. So are never-missing arrows.

3. Artemis would never adopt a boy. never.

4. Post apps in the OoC section

5. What god died 16 years ago?

Being a co-host, I may be unable to actually deny you, but I can give you suggestions.

IC: Nikki finally arrived at the forges, and went over to begin her chariot. Tempered so as... Celestial Bronze... Then she heard the conch horn. Nikki put aside the frame, and began walking towards the dining pavilion, thoughts racing through her mind. Even the tiniest trace... But still I'd... a simple dime... Hecate's magic... empowered... Nikki made up her mind and promptly changed her course, heading back towards the forges, gathering illusions around her in a successful attempt to hide her passage from all others. By the time she had arrived back at the forges, it was empty, with several unfinished chariot frames still being formed. Nikki smiled. Too easy.

Sam nodded and walked inbetween Ina and Jecht towards the Pavilion. However, she stopped her eyes wide. "He's back..." Sam smiled widely and took of to the left, where a sandy-haired 18 year old stood with a grin. "Anthony! My gods, I thought you were dead!" Sam hugged him, which Anthony gladly returned.

"Sorry little Sammy but you aint getting rid of me yet." Anthony grinned, draping his arm over her shoulder. "Hey, don't call me Sammy, and I am not little." She pouted. "Come on I wanna introduce you to someone." Sam said taking him over to te two demi-gods she left.

"This is my sister Ina, and our chariot partner Jecht. I'm sure you knew him already though." Anthony grinned at Jechtm and nodded towards Ina. "Guys this is Anthony Mandigoli. He's Herme's kid, and my best friend. So how was your mission?" Sam asked continuing the walk to the pavilion.

"I'll tell you later. We can't eat at the same table remember, and you'll have to let me see your chariot once it's done. You know, so I can tweak it up. You don't mind right Jecht?" Anthony asked. Because Sam was so happy that Anthony was back she hadn't even taken notice that Anthony hadn't said a word to Ina, let alone even notice her.
